Here's mine through the new system.
Suffering from success I guess.
Also lol @ the one BPS.
Being max prestige sucks but I don't want to put points into characters I have zero intention to play.
Ok, seems bulk is higher than manual, but it's still incredibly low.
I remember even 4 cakes in 1 web from past events…. -

Absolutely hate this killer with a burning passion. His teleport needs a warning, like every other killer with a teleport. It's absolutely busted. You have to run SB + Vigil or else you're just getting hit for free.
His teleport needs a warning
It has warning, you can tell my looking at door display….
-
Yes, it's very annoying.
-
5 milion BP (manual spending on survivor) for 80 cakes…
-
There is less event items in blood web… so that's definetly a change
-
@LordGlint said:
Try using the bulk spending feature instead. Some people have said they're seeing drastically more cakes when using it vs manually spending.
I have tried and it's about the same for me…
-
That spawn of event items is so bad. I got 80 cakes for wasting 5 milion…
It's so much worse than it used to be, I really hope it's just a bug. I would guess because of new rarities. -
Definetly not, that would result basically with last survivor almost always getting hatch unless killer slug for 4k.
I would want it spawn when all gens are finished tho. -
Slugging is core element of several killers and it is necessary, if you ever want to get comeback when all gens are finished.
Also when you see survivors letting you down them under pallet, or you expect DS, why the hell should I be forced to pick those…
Only situation where slugging is an issue imo is when it's basically use from start of the game, which is still difficult to fix. You can't connect limitation for anti-slugging feature to gens, because otherwise survivors can't finish them, you can't connect it to hooks, because that would be massive buff for bully squads (always get downed in position for pallet/flashlight save).
I personally don't think it's such a big issue anymore, where survivors can simply decide to not deal with it and let killer down them for free DC. It was definetly a bigger issue when it always lead to bleed out.
Even more so when knockout is not a thing anymore. -
Would be funny if you queued with random and you would see the killer only when the game starts.
-
I don't remember getting anything like this, but reward is also not high enough to get me even look for in spam folder.
-
It's weird to me, how bad experience some people have with soloQ. Maybe it's region thing, or time of playing…
Just use Kindred and soloQ is fine (I still want chatwheel tho) -
Yeah, I am a big fan of new DC system…
Players can't just take a break from DBD, you have to actually play like a normal person to get rid of the higher penalties. -
I would say main reason is bugs, fix those and he is in very good spot imo.
I don't really mind playing against him, I have got many good games against him. He is also quite fun to play with high skill ceiling, which is always good. -

I don't think so… the main issue behind her reworks were the massive hates towards her. She was just boring to play, boring to play against and had kit with practically non-existing skill expression and interaction. Was kind off alternative Knight who back in the days just instapopped guard at every loop and hit you for free. Not that current version of Knight would be more fun in any ways I kinda feel that 90 % of the game you don't play against Knight but bots.
Boring to play didn't seem to be an issue, simply because that's subjective, otherwise noone would play her, but he pick rate was not that low.
boring to play against and had kit with practically non-existing skill expression and interaction
She was definetly possible to get decent chase against, so I personally didn't have an issue and it would be even easier with nerfed hindered.
Like really, before you got injured you could just try to predrop and hold W, after injured she was weaker Clown…the main issue behind her reworks were the massive hates towards her
Not something you can fix, so doesn't seem relevant to me.
Removal of broken would make her less noob stompy, simply because even if you run into it outside of chase, you are free to heal. -

Aye we had many great discussions on Skull Merchant.
Version 2.0 was on the right track, she still had issues, but the bad PR she had just meant all discussion got drowned in a sea "just delete".
Your "always mending" suggestion was one I really liked.
I am pretty sure many survivors would welcome Skully after Kaneki plague in their games :D
-
Trying to limit perk combinations would not end well, so no….
-
Not really, sometimes it lead to very quick hooks. Especially if survivor tried to dodge it and end facing you at start of speed boost.
Sure, doesn't do that much if survivor simply hold W, or you throw at distance. But I don't think it's an issue. -
I think it is amazing for new players, but it definetly does not motivate me to play…
Also rewards are so low it's sad. -
I refuse to play her until she gets skin with normal face. Still highly annoyed about her visual.
I like the dog tho… -

Aye thats fair, I think thats part of her problem though, cause especially now we can see that her power is basically garbage, and when I play her I literally just throw a drone to be a 4.6m/s undetectable killer on demand.
As I look back at it, there would definitely need to be buffs, but I was more focused on cleaning up her baseline design so that the different parts make sense together to build on.
I did consider for example 2 scans instead of 3 for a claw trap, and other such buffs, but I didn't want to get it a whole bunch of controversy over such things xD
To be honest I think her previous version (before getting nuked) was easy to salvage. She would be fine if they simply removed broken and nerfed hindered…

I know but at the same point she really needs rework simply by how passive she was and it was main reason i never found taste to play her more than once in a month.
State 1.0 Holding 3 gen effectively, keeping game hostage, but have nothing for chase.
State 2.0 Holding 3 gen effectively, keeping game hostage, have minimum tool in chase
State 3.0 Having chase tool that is completely passive, deploy drone, gain haste, give hindred and hold w untill you get hit or follow survivor leaving loop and reset the progress
State 4.0 Having bad chase tool that must be actively manipulated to become better, giving her main strenght in stealth
I have played her a lot and got to prestige 50. I have liked OG skully more tho, but didn't really have an issue with next version tho.
State 1: that was created mostly because of perk meta, it would be not even close as strong now. Devour hope holding would be tho.
State 2: still perks, wouldn't work now
State 3: sad is it was simply weaker version of Clown with stealth. I still don't understand the hate about it.
State 4: current version is simply pathetic
I think best would be to use drones purely for information in some way + stealth and give her something else for chase. -

By the way I saw p100 SM players mainly focusing on either changing rotation or playing with the stay still add on and they did pretty good, better than people give SM credit for.
It waste so much time for little effect. Basically does nothing outside of chase.
The change that killed her most is you are not detected even on fast vaults.
You can easily have better results by using drones only for undetectable and play oldschool "machete man". -
That sounds very weak. Setting time longer than Hag for something that can be so easily denied with high visibility...
Especially without undetectable, which was/is kinda only thing going for her.

Keep in mind Kaneki gets a free hit / down if you're near them during a vault. You'd need to have perfect ping and perfect timing to pull that off.
You need to be near vault basically in middle of his animation, if you are then it doesn't matter how far you run, it will hit you. I have made a post about it.
If you get back later, you will not be downed. -
ok, vaulting back is actually pretty good tip. I will have to try that.
Waiting under pallet works if he used leap to get there, not really if he just pulled his power for it (delay before attack is very small) -

Define tough matches. And I dont even know how players can actually get out of tough matches? I always thought that the BPs you get when a Survivor DCs are a bit low, but I dont think this is something which really needs changing with DC-Penalties and Go Next-Prevention.
Well, from data we can definetly get average progression of the game for each killer. Basically expected number of hooks / sacrificed survivors for current gen progression.
So you could basically track if one side went way ahead expected outcome and simply give other side bonus % to everything they do. In most cases it would increase BP for survivors, which is good imo, because they are way behind average BP gain of killers. -
No, they could bring before gutting values and they still would be decent at best.
-
I think soloQ should get some changes, but it's also nowhere near as bad as some people claim imo.
HUD improved soloQ a lot, if you know how to use it properly.I play mostly soloQ/Duo and it can be a good experience, if you adjust your perks to it.
Always use Kindred, that makes soloQ 100x better. -

this is just not true, recently played against him and died because his bite fully blocks the gate, even when i animation cancelled and one teammate heal teched
That's weird, I have tested it yesterday and we could get out. Maybe if you got really bad backflip when he downs you, but for sure with healtech…
When we did emote before downing, we always escaped.
I hate ghoul, but this is not a thing. -

If survivor doesn't take into consideration that Kaneki can gain distance by bouncing and positioning himself in better spot then it's purely on survivor.
He is a killer who can use walls or other solid objects if they are near the loop and body block survivor. Survivor should either position self better or consider moving somewhere else.
Not every loop guarantees safety against every killer. Some killers can force survivors out of the loop sooner or make loop entirely unsafe. Knowing which one is better is the part of experience that survivor players can gain by playing more games against the killer.
Survivor should either position self better or consider moving somewhere else
Where exactly? Where was the better?
She can't camp and drop pallet, because that's free down for him.
She can't try to leave, because he can easily catch up. There is nothing really close that loop, except hold W around the building for almost same car loop, which was impossible for her.Not every loop guarantees safety against every killer.
Knowing which one is better is the part of experience that survivor players can gain by playing more games against the killer.
Sure, but usually there is something safe to do against each killer. Not really true for Kaneki tho. What is really safe to use against him?
Hold W? not even close
God pallets? not even those
Windows? Basically every Kaneki has Bamboozle…
I would love to learn some tips how to chase Kaneki, because from my experience there is not much to do. So what is better? So far every Kaneki defender can only give vague advice with nothing specific, which is quite telling imo. -
@Abbzy said:

He would need react super fast which isnt easy and tbh this kind of loop isnt safe against bunch of killers. He jumped infront of her but if she double backed then he cant make it to block her and he would most likely hit her with power wich means he pulls toward her and gets long cooldown much longer then vaulting enraged. He cant use his leap few meters in front of him that can be seen before he leaps he is looking on what thing he can pull himself and he can do it on the end of the car but he starts with fence because he didnt know if he could pull himself towards the car. So again if she double backed he would need to pull himself to the fence or her or end power thats all.
Survivor does not turn instantly, so not that hard to do imo. She can either double back, or hold W, but Kaneki is in power to stop both of it on reaction (at least on PC), so outcome depends on him more than her. Her skill does not affect much here.
Fact is his power is strong to down survivors and also gives free injuries… The whole "he has free injury, but is then M1 killer as Legion" is joke at this point. -
Yeah, I am quite happy with current Legion, so I would prefer if devs did not even look his direction for any reason other than skins.
It usually doesn't end well for the killer. -
If it could be used even in second stage, then it's one of most broken perks in DBD.
All 4 survivors would be able to play and use the perk, which is just absurd. -
@Abbzy said:
https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3949358#Comment_3949358
Well i dont think ist super easy to pull something like that on kaneki you need to be fast and accurate, if ada was more experienced than all she had to do was just run back after the first rush and she would be safe for some time.
then Kaneki could still simply jump in front of her instead, which is easy with no slide and outcome is exactly same?
You say she can double back, but Kaneki can deal with that anyway. In that situation she was just dead, Kaneki just need to jump in front of the way, where she is facing and she can't turn around fast enough with has short his fatigue is. -
Kinda funny how some people expect his power to be viable to use for downing a survivor, when the killer has free injury…
I have no idea how it happened he can also counter safe and even god pallets. -
I do think his cancel fatigue is too low, but my main issue is his ability to fully cancel even first slide, which means you can't even try to double back as survivor.
Kaneki is first killer I actually hate to play against.
-
Lol, really trying to hide even MFT behind soloQ?
Current MFT is still very good perk, especially against killers who have mending in their kit (you really don't want to see that as Legion/Deathslinger).
It's also good in combination with OTR. -

There is a reason to spread hooks though: None of us should ruin the entire match for other players by tunneling.
It's always unreasonable to look at one person playing a game with other people and tell them "You don't get to participate in this game because I'm afraid I won't win if I don't do this."
If I tunnel out the first person I hook and then get a 3k or 4k as a result of that, I'd say that's a 'loss' for me, if there is such a thing as winning or losing in this game. In doing that, I ruin the experience of one of the other players by making them essentially not able to participate in the game. And the match is likely ruined for the remaining players also since if this is done well, the other players have little chance of finishing all the gens as a result of me treating a person poorly and engaging in what is essentially a cheap, easy way to get one player out. I don't see how that's not the best reason by far to not tunnel as a primary approach to the game.
As @AmpersandUnderscore also very accurately pointed out, there are times when tunneling can make sense. If you're in egc, it usually is expected and probably reasonable for the killer to camp and tunnel people. And at that point, everyone has played the game, had the chance to lose their chases for real, and had a chance to enjoy the game. But it's never reasonable to play a game with other people for fun and then essentially make them unable to participate in the game. I genuinely don't understand why anyone would tunnel as their primary approach from the start of the game, knowing the impact it has on the people they're sharing the game with.
There is a reason to spread hooks though: None of us should ruin the entire match for other players by tunneling.
So only reason is that killer is supposed to care about survivors, while most survivors don't care about killers…
I never first hook tunnel, unless survivors really annoyed me, which is rare and I don't like when killers do it, so I try to play in away to not annoy them as well.
I think tunneling at 1-2 gens left is reasonable tho.
That doesn't change the fact there is not any logical reason for not tunneling. In many cases, it's simply best thing you can do to win and game gives you no reason to act otherwise.
Sure, it would be good if players on both sides were nice to each other, but they are not. You either need to punish killers for tunneling, which is unlikely to end well for multiple possible reasons, or reward killers for going after fresh hooks before killing a survivor. -

Because they should care too. This is an equivalent trade.
"I give you the opportunity to have fun by adopting a fair (even sometimes dumb) behavior, so please provide me the same"
As long as people will remain selfish and be focused more on the win than on the game, minds will never change
Because they should care too. This is an equivalent trade.
Sure, would be nice. Not realistic tho.
"I give you the opportunity to have fun by adopting a fair (even sometimes dumb) behavior, so please provide me the same"

I personally rarely tunnel unless survivors really asked for it and in most cases simply stop playing as soon 3 survivors die, so last survivor is free to get hatch, or sometimes even finish gens.
In my almost 3k hours, it happened only 2 times, where survivors were what I would call nice, while in winning position. It's very rare to see, yet they expect killer to do it basically in every game…
Being nice is rarely rewarded, often not even thanked. I usually do it more out of laziness tho.
That doesn't change the fact that only reason to not tunnel as killer is, if you want to be "nice", which I think is an issue, because you simply can't expect that from majority of people overall, not just in DBD. It may be sad, but it is what it is. -

With those same two perk slots, you could get infinite heals with self care/strength in shadows + botany knowledge
which didn't change at all… that's exactly same
Only difference is you can use medkit now to get 1/2 heals faster. You can also use street wise and built to last for even more
but sounds like a lot of resources to use, where outcome is not really better what you can do already with different builds.
Is it strong? Yes
Is it broken level strong? Not in my opinion -

You can get the 2 full heals without Streetwise, I'm just running Streetwise to get the extra Med-Kit charges for my teammates.
If you want selfheals with perks, then it didn't really change at all.
When we talk about medkits, you need Gel Dressings, which is iri addon and at that point just use syringe…
I like that I can use it simply with default medkit with no addons for 1 quick heal and then it helps me heal others. The annoying builds with it, didn't really change that much imo. -
Yeah, it's very strong, but I wouldn't say it's more broken that what we already have.
2 full heals, with 2 perks. Seems just as a worse instaheal medkit to me. -
3-gen is just gone… even more so with Eruption, so I really don't worry about that. It's very easy to break 3-gen even as soloQ.
I think all doors should be disabled at start of the game for everyone to make it fair (teleport and cameras). For like 10 seconds, or so…
-
He is more quite for sure, but not really that much. It's basically in realm of what some surivvors skins do, so seems fair.

This is barely relevant. You can remove the 6% right now and the Perk would be almost used as much as before. 6% saves barely anything. I guess if anything it is a dopamine boost because the Bar is yellow.
The big strength of Deja Vu is simply that you can see Generators and have it easier to find them.
Hey, I want my dopamine… It's very important part of the perk.

So not really a reason…

If there is a reliable solution to counter the killer without any drawbacks then the killer goes to F tier instantly.
As for Legion - you probably haven't played against good legion players who equip proper perks and addons and don't mindlessly chase people around. Once you meet one, you will be asking for a huge nerf because almost nothing but going straight line will work against that killer.

Not really, unless every other killer is F tier by your opinion…

lol, he is my most played killer… There are things you can do as survivors where there is nothing he can do about it.
