well, it will be only a test and that must be testing on Live servers to catch the current data. We will see

Removing BL but keeping god windows? lmfao why this is even an experiment is actually laughable. Bruh there is so much more important stuff that could be experimented with other than something that can be dealt with by simply throwing down a pallet and forcing the killer to kick it before you leave.
thats true

sure, ive spend also many many hours of playing to get theese items and now they bring it back in the shop or free for everyone, so pls don´t come with this bored argument anymore. Everyone knows that legacy items was not easy to get. But i see no diffrent between a throwback event wit the same conditions or grinding dbd on 2016. In my opinion exclusives are bad for the game.
-
5 PERK SLOTS ? the answer is short. It´s to much, NO !
-
well undying in combination with huntress lullaby or devour hope is a bad combination because undying resset the token stacks. 1 more reason to say undying is fine. Siriously: nobody can tell me, that the aurareading from this perk is a problem. Excuse me but, the killer need a little bit luck to see the aura in the right momend. If he doing other stuff or chase another survivor, nothing willhappend. So aura reading on this perk is np and total ok.

check your DBD data via steam and start the update again and than it will work.

A) now people just die on hook instead
B) que times are much worse at night now
C) dbd is not a game that begs people to play it so they just go to another game and forget about it
D) The core issues are not fixed. Most survivors quit if they’re tunnelled or camped.... lets fix the core issues that make a match completely unbearable, frustrating and annoying.... then punish the people that quit after that.
I just had a match, where i spawned at the shack... went to check the chest and guess whose on his way a guy named “basement bubba” lol he gets me, hooks me and just shakes his head up and down.... so i kill myself anyway.
STOP REWARDING LOW SKILL KILLERS
alot ppl cant take a loss. That´s fact & i like the penalty system

I don´t care what other ppl thinks about me, that´s true. The only reason why i was comming here is: To post a massage for all with this "Play how you want" this is what i want to tell, because i´m not the only one that´s sick and tired of other ppl. complains about everything and everyday. Stuff like moris, totems, keys, noed, bt , ds, tunneling, camping, bodyblocking, flashlightclicking, teabaggin, Insidius ect. are still ingame and can be used by everyone when they feel to do it. Also to many ppl care about, what others are thinking or how they play, but not me and i told you again. I play how i want and if you want, do it too.

"devs said many many many and many times legacy wont come back"
I cant hear this argument anymore. It must be give a solution for all players. In my opinion its technically makable. A throwback is not hard i think

I'm not liking it, mainly because of the graphics, but also because of the chase music and the bad collision on maps like Lery's that have these kinds of aesthetics (one of the ugliest maps imo with no taste for realism or simplicity).
is that a joke ?

well he is my main now. He is harder to play as Nurse and need alot of skill. So yeah with all his add ons he is very special. He is super Fun to play and he has a high Skillcap for sure and a high learncurve. Good map pressure and Genprotect with the right playstyle ofc. To many mistakes and you loss a round very hard. But if you play him very well he is one of the best killers in game now. ( Ez to play. hard to master ) That´s my opinion

Ok so I'm a red rank survivor on console (Xbox One) and I'm used to facing a variety of different killers (not same boring killers over and over again) who are very skilled (mind games, map pressure, game sense, etc) and for the most part super enjoyable and never stale.
Now along comes crossplay where we console players get to face off against PC players and oh... my... god...
Here's how a game against a PC player goes;
Step 1: Freddy, Legion, Clown... That's it. Easy to play killers with low skill ceiling.
Step 2: Cancer builds (super slow builds which prolong the game in such a boring way I'm ready to leave halfway through)
Step 3: Proxy camp. The killer's heartbeat will literally never leave if you're anywhere near the hook.
Step 4: Tunnel. These killers I mean OMG 😂 Borrowed Time? Decisive Strike? PC killers just don't give a #########, they'll hit the unhooked survivor with BT, eat a DS, and still tunnel the survivor down.
Full disclosure if I'm in a team of survivors who know what they're doing it's easy to just finish the gens and get out. But man it's always sad for that ONE line survivor who just doesn't get to have fun.
If you're a PC gamer who mains killer... Patrol gens, explore the map, learn how to loop, and I promise you'll have much more fun than focusing on one survivor per game.
Bait Post for sure,
to 1: Killer´s can play what they want. Do you rly complain about a C Tier Killer like a clown ? Well that´s fun
to 2: They try slowdown builds, cause theres no reason on red ranks to try underdog builds.
to 3 & 4: Camp and tunnel is a bad strategy but legit. Point
and on your last point. I don´t care who you are or wich rank you are. Ranks are saying nothing about skill, it shows only how often you play.
And hey i play how i want. Deal with it !
-
a legacy throwback event would be awesome. Its fair for everyone

NOED isn't rewarding poor gameplay from Killers:
- Killer has to play the trial with only 3 perks before the doors are activated.
- The perk can be fully deactivated by survivors
- If the killer has no luck in hooking many survivors before the doors are activated, then the survivors should have been able to cleanse totems without feeling pressure, thus, not giving the NOED edge to the killer. It's on them if it activates.
- If survivors allow the killer to get a 4K with NOED in the end game, I would argue that survivors made mistakes during their end game plays or didn't prepare for the potential NOED activation.
Finally, if you don't want to play NOED, it's your prerogative. In my opinion, building a build that is strong in end game isn't rewarding failure, it is using perks for their intended purposes. The purpose of NOED is to give a killer a burst of strength in end game. Since it's effectively strong, survivors have the power to deactivate it, if they focus secondary objectives.
The killer players choosing to play NOED are banking on a burst of strength at the end for the downside of playing with 3 perks the rest of the game and having a chance to have their perk deactivated. It's a high risk, high reward scenario."
Do bones.
-
any other opinions about that ?

@Sadsnacks said:
It would be nice for survivors to have other objectives that don't force the killer to have to apply more pressure on the map with their existing base kits, perks, addons.
In Friday the 13th survivors have other objectives that can lead to an escape. The difference in that game tho is that the killer has a lot more to his base kit that allows them to apply pressure evenly across all of the different survivor objectives.
I think it's been suggested before that survivors should have to search the map to find tools or parts before they can interact with gens. That might work?
They did increase gen speeds at the same time they nerfed ruin. I remember after the ruin nerf came out gens got faster for me as a survivor. I never had issued with old ruin, I thought it spiced up the game with a secondary objective (cleansing ruin).
Maybe they could implement something like that without it being a totem somehow? Like maybe gen speeds are slower and skillchecks are harder until someone completes some sort of action that makes sense within the game world like finding fuel for the gens or something IDK
well Friday the 13th is an good example

Well i feel with the crossplay Console players Dcing like Hell. I hope rly they fix it and bring the system back

@PigMainClaudette said:
This is just a reminder that yes, there are indeed survivors who do bones in order to try and counter NoED. These players also generally don't gen-rush.
When these players come here and say that NoED is indeed a terrible perk and needs changing, they're right. They do not need to "git gud", they do not need to hear "Just do bones." and they do NOT need to hear a garbage spiel about how easy the perk is to counter, the killer is "oNlY pLaYiNg WiTh 3 PeRkS!" or the points of DS/BT/DH/UB being perks and can be stacked.
To now make the "Do bones" argument null and void, I will now highlight every way that this argument is totally invalid:
- Survivor perks, such as Decisive Strike and Unbreakable are used with the hope that they are NEVER ACTIVATED. Well, for a lot of their users anyway. People can claim this as being perks down, much like the arguments for NoED.
- The so-called Survivor equivelant, Adrenaline, is only a small and temporary boost while NoED is permanent if activated. Yes, the health state is temporary, but there are several killers that have base-kit instant downs so this really shouldn't be THAT big of an issue.
- NoED does not discriminate between those who have done totems and those who do not. This leads to several cases like mine where I am commonly doing 3-4 dull totems MYSELF and getting killed after only one hit and hook. I am being punished for others failing, not my own failure. I know that Survivor is technically a team game, but there is a point where the individual should not be punished for the failures of the team.
- It creates bad habits. Rather than actually adapting to applying pressure through various means, or learning how to improve in chases, NoED is used as a safety net in order to get kills that one would not normally be able to achieve, making them think that they are more skilled than they actually are. Rather than getting better at their role, they are telling others to do way more work because they refuse to adapt.
- Counters to a majority of Survivor perks are merely a change in mindset or playstyle, such as trading hooks to apply pressure and avoid Decisive Strike AND Borrowed Time. NoED requires survivors to go out of their way in order to stop one of your perks.
- The "counters" are also indirect and limited, also chewing up valuable perk slots for other perks to counter some of the more unsavoury tactics that killers use and are not perk dependent.
Main point here is that yes, I do the dull totems. They are more bloodpoints and cancel the perk. I AM NORMALLY THE ONE TO GET HIT BY IT. Most of these games, it is also the first hook that I will be placed on and will also ultimately kill me.
There are also many issues that I have with NoED on a fundamental level as a perk, especially with it's activation for both general activation and notification of it's activity. Every other Hex perk requires ONE totem to be destroyed, where as NoED can have up to 5 required, before endgame.
All exposure effects outside of NoED and Devour Hope also give instant notification. Devour Hope also has a lengthy list of requirements to activate outside of "be loosing" in order to achieve the same effect. Devour Hope is also a TEACHABLE perk, one that should be more powerful than base-perks as you have to do a lot more work for them to become available.
So, fellow killers, while you lot think up of an actual excuse for NoED being the way it is, I'll be off actually doing the damn bones whenever I decide to indulge in a little bit of Survivor while I try to progress my Archives. In the meantime, whenever any of you argue about Decisive Strike, Borrowed Time, Unbreakable just remember this advice, since it's ok for YOU to give it: Just don't tunnel, camp or slug. Never mind that the survivor ran at you or started working on that generator or unhooking that other survivor in your face. Kinda hypocritical, isn't it? That's how I feel every time I hear the phrase "just do bones".
I did them, so now what?
yeah do bones ..... you must accept it. If you do, good for you and if you do theres no excuses noed user needs to do. A new excuse ? nice bait .....Deal with it
-
i rly hope they will finally fix that issue
-
also ive read some stuff with an red glyphe. I dont know what that is

you say it. SLOWDOWN: That means, it doesnt stop survivors to do gens. The Developers are not stupid dude, trust me but i think they will find a good way.

random placement ? sure why not

Agreed. The beginning of the trial shouldn't immediately be ultra stressful for the killer, I would prefer the beginning of the trial having the feel of being a relaxed hunter gently wading through the fog hoping to chance upon a victim.
look here and help to discuss: https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/177653/early-game-system-all-killer-s-need-a-bit-of-breathing-room-at-the-start-of-the-game#latest

This 100%. A lot of killers chase survivors way too long and then cry about genrush. Killers need to learn how to apply pressure and protect their gens.
i think you don´t understand and i told you again. You can´t do pressure at the same time on 3 diffrent places with a killer and vs splitting survivors and about chase were talking about 30-60 seconds. That´s not rly much
-
It would be cool if Trapper, Nurse Wraith get them too
-
4k mentality is bad, that´s for sure.

Especially when the devs have already stated they are planning to add an early game system. IMO it's really all the game needs as well since really all killers need to is a bit of breathing room at the start of the game.
Oh dude i hope so much they bring an early gamesystem

30-60 seconds is enough time for 2 survivors to get a gen done. if your occupied in a chase for that long drop the chase. You can always get them later.
i know that dude i know that but it doesn´t do something vs splitting survivors on diffrent gens you understand that ? They don´t care if they injured or if the kiler´s comming, cause they are not afraid anymore. They sit stubborn on the gens..

Adjust your play.
It's the year 2020. We all know gens are going to go fast. If you have a transporting killer (Freddy/demo) bring pop. If you have a set up killer (Trapper/Hag) bring corrupt. If you play anyone else the only perks that matter are:
Detection perks to find survivors as fast as possible to put early game pressure (whispers, disco dance, spies).
Perks that help win chases earlier (brutal, enduring, spirit fury, bamboozle, etc)
Perks that help snowball (STBFL, infectious, agitation)
All hex perks are pretty weak except for in a gimmick build. Maybe devour being the exception. Stop using them.
Find them as soon as you can. Gens will pop but so what. 4ks shouldn't be that easy.
All what you say is total correct but the fact that you can´t do pressure on diffrent places is true. And all theese things can do nothing vs splitting survivors. No way... and read my post i oftern play with all this perks.
-
Nobody say make m1 longer. The Devs must find another way.

It is the killer's responsibility to slow the game down. If you can't chase and down survivors efficiently enough, then you don't belong up at those ranks.
i told you: Don´t compare apples with bananas. Im not stupid and tell me how to do pressure on 3 diffent places ? It´s not possible
-
@Mak0 said:
You didnt get gen rushed. You just refuse to stop chasing the survivor who’s able to run you for a long time that you lose gen pressure entirely
were talking about 30-60 seconds ? and that´s not rly much ! Do you rly think im so stupid to chase a survivor for 20 seconds and than i swap to go another ?...jeeez that´s time waste and than gens are popping faster, cause survivors can ez split with 3 ppl on 3 diffrent places. Theese Genrush Squads are not stupid and sitting with 2 or 3 ppl on 1 gen anymore. They clever and split
-
@PrincessPoop said:
Is this thread seriously saying genrushing is just as bad as it was in 2016.............. is that seriously what you wrote??? 2016 Dbd.... where BNP fully completed a gen in one click, meaning 4 gens could be completed in less than 10 seconds..... I swear the vast majority of killer mains on this forum lack brain cells.
are you rly trying to compare apples with bananas ? That makes no sense

And the funny part is this could be easily solved.
DC? +100% BP to everyone and -1 Gen. need to be fixed for escape.
Not that hard, right?
Penalty dosent matter, you can ban me, i dont care, i will not waste even one single minute more to play against Doctor. I will just play another game. :/
It´s technical not workable and if you want to play another game, go for it no one stops you
-
@Alify said:
If they bring it back, then people will simply commit suicides on hooks and will gain incorrect bans for game errors or due to loss of connection / blackout etc.
maybe thats true, but fact is theese ppl must be punished. Incorrect Bans ? After the devs have worked on the current issue; i don´t think so

@PlaysByShady said:
I remember, way back in the day, I once complained to a killer that literally face-camped me that it was poor game-play from him. His response was one that stuck with me: "punish it by doing gens".
I try to be a "fair" killer. I'm decent (Rank 1) with Spirit & Pyramid Head, but less so with other killers. And I like variety. I like to play Nurse, Doctor, Hag, etc, etc. Of course, the way the current match-making is set up is that (currently) I have to go against red ranks regardless of what killer I play, which means when I play any of the other killers, I'm at a severe disadvantage.
When you mix that with SWF depip squads with object and stretched rez, etc, who insist on gloating and hurling abuse at you in the end-game chat, it makes me wonder "why do I bother? I don't play the game to be made to feel bad."
I know many have gone through this, and often quit the game entirely. But my attitude switched.
No longer will I now be "fair", and give survivors a chance under the assumption that they'll be decent, etc. Now I'm gonna unleash the full power of any/every killer I play.
Yes, I'm gonna camp the hook. There's 3 other healthy survivors around, leave the gen and try to rescue if you can. The odds are in your favour. Severely in your favour. But it means you're not doing objectives, and I'm finding that more often than not, these SWF can't cope with this. They cannot reconcile having to choose between letting their team-mate die on hook for the sake of the gens, and not being given a free save. They get confused, and they make mistakes, which I capitalise on.
Sure, I still get the accusations of camping and tunnelling... but this time they're warranted (instead of being arbitrary excuses), and I don't care. They all died, I "win".
And when they call me a "noob", I point out that this "noob" just 4K'd them all... so what does that make them? Lol.
If you don't like the camping, punish it by doing gens.
And don't forget the totems too... I could be running NOED.
Gone are the days of Mr Nice/Fair Killer. SWF have had their run for too long, and I'm tired of being the punching bag. I'm fighting back, and I urge other killers to do the same.
SWF need to learn they don't control the rules of the game, they're not the power position, the killers are! We've been shamed into playing by their rules... since when do the lamb dictate to the lions how to hunt?
My strategy is to put pressure on you, SWF groups... let's see how you cope with that with all your t-bagging, clicking, etc. Doesn't look like it's working too well for you so far :D
i will do the same cause im sick of toxic swf
