I had no issue getting her adept achievement
I guess you m1 a lot then. But still, her bp gain is too low. Playing her is like a punishment in terms of bloodpoints

Isnt 2 minutes enough to find them with Whispers?
that's if you have whispers. if you don't, then it's gg. and you only have 2 slots left
-
I can tell you corrupt intervention is not good for her because of your vomit. You vomit the rest of the gen, and guess what survivors do? Hide. Until your perk is gone. It's extremely unfun for me.
-
It's too easy to rank up if i use them. In my experience, regardless what i do, i don't depip. Unless the killer camps or tunnels me to death
-
Nurse. Because i love staring my power bar, losing my power to blink entirely, dead zones, bugs, float slower than survivors, fatigue, dedicated servers, etc.
/s
But seriously, i like playing bottom tier killers because they're simple so i can relax.

Switch steps 4 and 5.
Replace step 7 with: Camp and force a survivor to trade hooks.
Replace step 8 with: Wait until 50% of the EGC expires then hook the savior of the previous hooked survivor.
Step 9: Don't camp and let them get the unhook that will give you a free 4K.
Step 10: Drink water to avoid dehydration from salt post-game chat. 😁
Blood warden op!! Pls nerf!!

Even outside of red rank, it's still the same. I'm only Rank 9 killer, and it's constant red rank teams, or reds with purple. I don't mind these red ranks, but I don't play mega competitive so I get outplayed easily. I like just a casual game, not a sweatfest.
At least i don't feel the need to not depip

Yes they do. They can drastically reduce the generator progress. What if the final generator is at 99% when it gets broken with Pop Goes The Weasel. It's then regressed massively and the killer then has a huge opportunity to win the match still. It's most certainly a second-chance perk.
There's more too:
- Hex: No One Escapes Death
- Bitter Murmur
- Barbecue and Chilli
- Blood Warden
- Corrupt Intervention
- Discordance
- Enduring + Spirit Fury
- Franklin's Demise
- Hex: Ruin
- Rancor
- Surveillance
- Whispers
- Hawkin's Underground Complex, Gideon Meat Plant and Lery's Memorial Institute are all statistically more killer-sided.
- Add-ons like Iridescent Head massively increase the strength and utility of the killer's power.
- etc.
I'm not saying I'm against any of these perks, maps or add-ons. I'm just pointing out that saying that the game only has survivor-sided things isn't necessarily a true statement.
Discordance? What makes you think it's second chance perk?
At this rate every killer perks are second chance perk except monstrous shrine lol

Yep.
I’ve gone against Docs that hardly shock or hardly use the blast at all.
Like what are they doing?!?!
Because the situation is not good for shock? In some loops shocking are pointless

@oxygen said:
If they do that from the start they're probably farming the rift and didn't give up. I don't really have an opinion one way or another about it to be honest.
When killers do seem to give up (as in thing happens -> killer stands still for several seconds -> killer disconnects) that's just a good old ragequit. In that case it depends on several factors. I sorta understand if they obviously got screwed by matchmaking, but if they DC after getting hit with a DS they 100% deserved to get hit by or something like that then yeah, no sympathy from me. That's just a crybaby tier ragequit.
No offense, but not every killer gets hit by DS because of tunnelling or camping. Saying they are all crybabies are rude.

Not at all, we even 99% last 3 gens without popping them until we farmed a bit with them, still DCed, by farm I mean loop them and stun them every time we could
Well.. of course that's gonna make killer DC. What you're doing is humiliating killer.
I just have a game where survivors bring 3 bps + 3 toolboxes with bnp + flashlight. The game finished within 4 - 5 mins if i'm not mistaken
-
Yesterday, i looped billy for 3 mins, only 2 gens are popped. And he hooked me in basement
Guess what my teammates do? One got one shotted just outside of basement while another one run down stairs and hide in locker.
So.. 3 of us hooked in basement. And the Iast one run down stairs and... you know what happened. Ez six feet under challenge lol
Edit: post match: all green ranks

@ProfessorDunwich said:
It is ridiculous people still bring toolboxes with the absurd speed of gens. Guess you want to be dodged.
They're only hurting themselves. As killer, we can get into another game in under 1 min. For them, not so, plus they wasted their whole 10 min queue time if they get dodged
-
@Carlosylu said:
3 GAMES IN A ROW! I repeat, 3 GAMES IN A ROW! We placed 2+ BPS and as soon as the exit gates triggered the killer DC! WHAT?! Dude! All your BPs!
Maybe because you finished the game too fast, like under 4 - 5 mins?

The challenges are organized in such a way that you can always reach the end of the Tome without having those characters, not necessarily so you can complete every other challenge.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1064701#Comment_1064701
Neither of those characters are available for shards, so we will not be using them in Tomes. Only characters that can be purchased with shards are eligible.
Does this also mean there will be no additional lore to licensed dlc characters?

I've had the idea of an "adrenaline crash" for Legion. Instead of eating a 4 second stun after FF, they eat a 2-3 second stun and then are reduced to 110% movement speed until FF is recharged again, and hitting a survivor outside of FF won't reduce the power meter anymore.
That will really kill the legion. Imagine playing spirit, hag and huntress without power but instadown
Trust me, you will get looped to oblivion
Edit: i missed the part "until ff recharge". But still, it doesn't change much about what i wrote

you're really rude. there is logical reasoning to it , I wanted to know why killers and their perks have so many counters but survivors dont.
It's not bait, there is "logical "reasoning. because if they wanted it to be balanced they would make it the same on both sides.
Every time i see that guy commenting on posts for killers are usually in rude manner, like "get good", "poor bait", "baby killer" etc.
-
Inconsistency is still an issue. In my last game, it's gone when i down the first survivor in oni map..
So much for an endgame perk.

You shouldn't care that much about the other team, they do not care about you either.

Why does killer lunge sometimes stop just before reaching survivors when they are clearly in range? (Hit is not registered)

I remapped it to mouse scroll down.
I refuse to bust my good keyboard on this game so i remapped it. I can get another mouse.
But i also will only struggle if it benefits the team. I dont give a crap about maintaining rank and the measly, variable - mind you, points that you get for it are not worth the struggle. I can do one totem ingame instead.
One struggle i will get 649 points and the next 878. Both struggles were the same amount of time so what is dead? Why are there different scores? They should be the same score if they both took the same amount of time. But they never are.
The only problem with remapping to mouse scroll is the game sometimes still kills me

Technically macro's are against the EULA, but Bhvr isnt actively banning for it. However if EAC bans you for having a macro active then there is nothing that Bhvr can do for you.
Like Oxygen said, it falls under an "use at your own risk"
You can find the EULA here: https://store.steampowered.com/eula/381210_eula_0
thanks for the information

If a macro won't help you then why bring it? Why risk getting banned if it provides no benefit to you anyway?
to protect the keyboard at starter?

I would be very surprised if devs really implement this

Its not limited to her 2nd blink. Sometimes she can't even blink the first time, effecively allowing the survivors to hold the game hostage.
More the reason people don't play as nurse these days
-
@Avilgus said:
-Trapper: Invisble aura for near traps
-Wraith; Many problem with uncloaking by a pallet or a flashlight
-Billy: Ghost chainsaw (rare)
-Nurse: Infinite blink sound and animation
-Myers: Stalk regression (Dedicated servers ?)
-Hag: Weird camera after teleportation (Dedicated servers ?)
-Clown: Bottles can collide wth invisble wall (rare but devastating for a poor trash-tier killer)
-Spirit: Sound problem (All killer suffer for this) + As a survivor i cant hear her phasing sound in her terror raduis.
-Plague: Vomit doesn't infect survivors sometimes (Dedicated servers ?)
-Ghotsface: Impossible/delay to lean (Dedicated servers ?)
You can't hear spirit phasing when you're in her terror radius. This is intended.
If you can hear it, it's broken

I think most people are biased against devs. Yes killer is unfun to play and game is veteran survivor sided but lets be objective here.
A perk getting disabled can't be compared to bugs that happens "sometimes" and isn't as game breaking.
I play against spirits they find me from my walking footsteps not running or injured so I don't see the problem if it happens once in a while. Spirit still dominates survivors.
Hag still works that bug is annoying as ######### but it isn't fixed because it is not as simple as changing some codes in the game unlike that decisive bug. It is dedicated server based and we all know the pain with the servers, they are trying, they even tried a new mechanic where it was supposed to fix that weird getting hit 2 meters away from windows etc. last ptb remember ?
Ghostface reveal is actually a bad thing against survivors since revealing him is broken not something killer not being able to hide or anything.
I am sure if a killer perk was to be disabled for some reason or their power being broken and not working they would fix it in few days as well.
How about nurse? Her 2nd blink can be disabled for whole game. How is that not game-breaking?
-
I just bought a DLC, but that still don't make me want to play the game.
Now i'm more into fallout 4 than DBD, at least i can enjoy my free time

How am I supposed to apply gen pressure when I'm in a chase? I can't exactly down a person while watching over gens at the same time
That's why devs gave you three options
-
do what you want. they will accuse you for tunneling for everything you do
-
Just buff the expose duration to 1 minute like MYC, then it's all good
-
I can only say this. Don't play for win, play for fun. After all, we play video games for fun
-
One of the reason why i play killers more
-
I thought people would say Nea. Entity cannot die lol
-
@Peanits said:
I definitely care more about having fun than winning, personally. I don't see the point in doing something you don't enjoy just for the sake of winning. There's no stakes, no prizes- it's just a game. I would rather hit some sweet hatchets through a tiny hole in a wall or stun the killer twice with the same pallet and lose.
Granted, I'm probably not the most competitive person around. I don't mind taking a loss.
Nurses want to know your location.
(This is a joke)
-
Whoever uses this perk deserves to be tunnelled and camped to death :)
Now seriously, i don't use it as i sucks at chasing. And i deserve to be tunnelled and camp :)
-
I would rather have a part time job. At least they give me salary for equal work required..

@Dustin said:
I can't wait to be facecamped for all hook phases and break my space bar attempting not to die not only for myself but for my team.
Realistically though it's a neat idea and to clarify we're assuming there are 8 backup lives everyone shares and the other 4 is the life you spawned on the map with. I can still see people camping just because they know people would have to spam struggle. I'd be against this idea unless struggle was reworked because I CBF to hit space for more than one phase.
We can always remove that struggle phase lol. It's a bad design for the very beginning anyway
-

With the difference that the remaining 3 all have their 3 health state. With your suggestion once the potato dies, everyone is on death hook. That's not very fair imo.
You need 9 hooks or camp 9 hooks to kill that potato. That's enough time for the rest to escape IMO
-
@Fibijean said:
So in other words, what if DBD were truly a team game and all the survivors won or lost as a group? It's an interesting idea, but I fear there might be a whole slew of balancing and logistical issues lurking just below its surface.
Survivors are supposed to work as a team IMO.
And for logistical issues, remember this is a video game. Logically survivors won't survive at all since they die by taking a hit from hammer or chainsaw or whatever it is lol.
As for balancing, i'm not sure about this at the moment
-
@PfoxandtheHound said:
That's an interesting idea if it didn't mean that a single potato could bring your team down. Oh he keeps finding and hooking the guy who can't run even the iron works window. Well, guess on my first down I'll just die. 🤷♂️
It also applies to the current game. A single potato dies or killer keeps finding the same guy also costs you the game, as it becomes 3 vs 1 very fast
-
@Aura_babyy said:
A survivor doesn't need a minimum of 3 hooks to die.
Sometimes they die in 1 or 2.
The idea is interesting, but then it poses no threat after the first hook, which was the point of the struggle phase.
What I think you are suggesting ends up removing struggle phase and attempting to escape?
I mean survivors can be hooked maximum for 3 times. Yes, they can be 1 hooked currently, but that punishes everyone in the game, including killer
I guess we can remove struggling. Personally, I really hate that struggling phase as it hurts my keyboard.
But the timer and attempt to escape can stay.
-
I don't play her anymore because i need to sweat a lot just to be decent with her. I play video games for fun, not for stress and sweat

Playing myers without add-ons and stalking.
That was my first couple of games lol
