  • There are extreme safety measures to protect my mental health right now for me to keep playing this game. But, ultimately, even then I can't always keep playing it. Many times I get good opponents, but the bad always outweighs the good. People are so happy about winning or upset about losing, even though a significant amount of time people's skill doesn't necessarily cause a win in the first place.

And it's painful, but I currently agree with your "potential that the game will never reach" statement. Every update they throw at us, it's usually painful to see. It's sad because there are some things they are doing right. Oh, well. One can dream! Hope to see you around :3

  • I really like it. It looks a bit lame, but gets these weird spikes in blood fury. And then I think the spikes stay there but they dont glow until the next blood fure

I will never understand why Killers do something like this. I mean, I wait for a lobby, wait through a loading screen just for one perk and then to stare at Steves face? Whats wrong with these people...

Or is this the cosmic backlash from me wanting to show my friends over at discord how good Bubba can be when you play him to chase and hook without ever camping and tunneling? Like the Bubba-energy left me and went into your Killers? o.o

I do this sometimes, when I don't want to play the game or want it to end quickly. Like if they brought a Haddonfield offering, or there is a flashlight macro. I just don't want to deal with that. But when people do this against me, most of the time I'm not sure what happened. It's just boring for me, boring for them

  • Ohh, Is this new for you? This is what happened to me for the last week or so. The facecamping strat. I didnt know it's an MMR thing, I just assumed this is hot the game goes most of the time now. Kinda boring, but cant blame killers, tbh.

Today was a bit spicy, because I was left to be bled out from the beginning of the match by an Artist. (no clue why)

No one has access to the developers data. However, it does appear that the developers are rather quick to change things that are way over-performing, such as Pinhead. Since CoH hasn't been nerfed, then you have to consider it's way over-hyped on these forums, compared to what the data developers are seeing. The developers even said they were keeping a close eye on this perk, specifically.

If the developers are seeing an issue with this perk, then it would have been nerfed already, considering how often this perk is brought up on the forums.

I think we're seeing a lot of hysteria about this perk when in fact, it's not showing anything with the developers data sets.

This is based on the fact that the developers haven't touched the perk.

It's the same thing as Lucky Break. Everyone was freaking out about it, the developers nerfed it based on the forums, and no one used it. The developers buffed it again and still no one uses it. I think Killer mains kind of screwed themselves and their credibility with Lucky Break.

You have way too much trust in the dev's capabilities to quickly react to situations like this. Decisive Strike is a great example for you. Just saying "the dev didn't change it, so it's fine" is a bit... naive? I'm not sure what the correct word is.

Here's a great example: Shadowstep. A great perk. A boon. Well-designed. I think powerful but balanced. A big reason for it is that it's area-dependant. You have to specifically be in its area to get the perk's power, and there are 2 ways to do it: loop the killer inside its area, or do something useful (like gen) and counter BBQ. Still in some central areas can be busted. Basically same for Exponential.

CoH can be used in any game, and its area is basically just an alibi. Anyone who needs can run into it and heal, even if normally you wouldn't even have access to healing. Not only that, everyone sees its aura, so there is no waste of time "searching for a teammate/boon". It's right there.

But let's pretend for a second that the perk is perfectly balanced. (Even though the devs in the same post, where they said they are keeping an eye on it referred to the fact that they are "not rushing changes, because they've made rushed bad decisions in the past"). What's the purpose of it, then? What is the global plan in its design? I really hope the devs do think about where they are shifting the game with certain perks and not just randomly add them. Read the comments to this post, and tell me they are not making the game more unenjoyable for everyone. It's a bit like big, difficult for the killer maps. You could think survivors are happy about it, but I enjoy the smaller maps more because the killer has less reason to camp me or anyone else on the hook.

Actually, there was a great vid about CoH on YT from CoconutRTS. He was talking about the fact that BHVR is adding stuff right now into the game for survivors to extend chase and making it harder for the killer to kill a survivor, which would be completely okay, but I don't see compensation for killers. You can of course argue right now, that "well since the devs did not add compensation, it means killers don't need it". But let's be honest, are you sure this is a good approach to these things?

I am personally not even convinced that BHVR's tendency to "look at the data" is a good idea. You can't make good games and decisions judging by data. Data seems precise, but interpreting the data correctly can be a major issue. In fact, I've seen some devs of (IMO) great games warn people about using data for games, but it can confuse devs more than help it. Just look at some of the add-on changes in the upcoming update...

Now obviously, I am not a dev of this game. I am also not the owner of this game. Ultimately, they decide where things should go. I just hope that they DO actually decide, and not just add random perks into the game. You say Lucky break. Why don't you say DS? And if you trust the devs and their data, then do you think they nerfed lucky break because of people not liking it or because their data supported it?

By adding this version of CoH they nerfed a lot of killers. Removed hit n' run and promoted tunneling. I don't like any of these changes. Not when I play killer. Not when I play survivor. My opinion is subjective. But I feel like there are many people that would agree with me. And not just on the forums.

It's not like Nurse or Blight are auto win even if you are good with them. Dead squads can still kick your ass.

Yes, that is why I used "and", not "or". You have to play them and play perfectly. And yes, even then you may lose, but I feel like with them you should be able to feel some power :D

  • Twins need a QoL rework. Switching between them should be more accessible, quick. The change you've suggested maybe could buff their power, but wouldn't solve the actual issue.

CoH has to be nerfed properly. Also, make snuffing any boon worth it.

Decisive is okay the way it is. Just needs to deactivate when you are opening a gate

There is a lot I disagree with, BUT I really like the "survivors spawn together" change. That alone could make many maps not as hell-ish as now.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/304156/killer-mains-how-do-you-deal-with-circle-of-healing

A boon totem is less time efficient than Self-Care until it's 3rd use. If you are breaking the totem before it's 3rd use, then it's wasting survivor's time. Since you are patrolling generators anyway, you will find it without going out of your way.

However, if you focus on the totem, going after it every time you hear it being lit, then you are wasting your time and give the survivors the advantage.

The big thing is realize it isn't that big of a deal. Just get it when you are close to it. Otherwise don't even worry about it. It's when you focus on it, that you lose.

It's a bold statement to say that it's less time-efficient before its 3rd use than self-care, due to 1 single reason: when you bring self-care, you sacrifice 1 perk and give 4 (if we count CoH as 1 perk value)

Also, many times efficiency is in the speed, not in the numbers. A great example is built to last with the toolbox. Just looking at the numbers you could say it's okay because you spend time in the locker, but in reality, the danger is on the speed of the gen, not in the survivor's invested time.

I do understand what you are saying though, in terms of "recognize it's not that valuable in many games". I can agree. However, the more I think about the perk, the more I'm mad about the fact it's in the game and not getting even the slightest touch in 5.5

  • As long as you are not playing Nurse and playing perfectly you can still lose the game. This is how currently Dbd works. I don't know if it's a good thing or a bad, it's just how I feel.

And Coh is #########. I'm out.

Interactions like these make me regret ever being nice some days. But whenever ai give up and decide to be a jerk killer forever, some cute Feng is always acting so innocent and sweet and deserves hatch.

These people wonder why killers are so....unstable and hostile lol.

I wish there was a way to break this negative feedback loop of the cycle of toxicity.

It's kinda funny, because when I started playing killer almost a year ago, I was like the friendliest killer ever, playing by the survivor rulebook. But slowly and surely the survivors turned me into what I am now. I sick [BAD WORD], who will only care about himself.

Interestingly enough, the survivors didn't change. It doesn't matter, how nice you play, there will always be someone who's unhappy about how you play. So why should I care?

  • Today is a terrible day. I played 2 games of killer, first, they were just toxic and told me I suck in the endgame chat.

Second game I tunnel out the Adam with an instaheal (purple medkit, too), because they set up a boon. I was doing adept Spirit on Mother's dwelling. No crazy add-ons, nothing. I mori him with Rancor in the end. All 4 of them wrote me around 4 screens of literally "baby killer", "ez", "you lost", didn't forget to include homophobic slurs. For every 5 gg wp, you get a game of this, and you don't want to play killer.

You also are forced to ONLY play for yourself. Never care about the survivors. if YOU want to let the cute Feng go, let her, but never except the person playing her be cute in the endgame chat, too. Very sad, that these people exist. I wish there was a way to ban them for me, so that I never have to play against them. Or at least mark them for myself as someone I should mute from the start.

A free medkit for everyone on the team using only one perk that covers 1/4 the map (or 1/2 the map if it's a 2 story place like The Game) that directly counters multiple killers (Legion and Oni specifically) and directly counters the ability for the killer to spread pressure (wonder why tunneling has become so damn prevalent) and the only counter a killer has to it is to try to stumble upon it at some point so they can kick it and make it brea...oh, make it disappear for a mild inconvenience to the survivors as they just go back to it or find a different totem to bless again.

Yeah, it's a mystery why killers think it's OP. Guess we'll never know...

I agree with the sentiment, but Legion is not countered by boons. Legion mostly counters CoH, because healing against them is useless

But instead, it counters Oni, Hag, Twins, Wraith, pretty much every other killer and player who wanted to use hit n run strategy which was so fun to play and to play against :'))

  • I am a killer main. I am not crying but do believe this combo could be a problem. It motivates a camping heavy playstyle which I think is unhealthy for the game in the long-term.

Please stop categorizing people as "survivor mains cry", "killer mains cry" blah blah blah. Everyone is an individual, maybe we should address people as individuals

I wouldn’t call twins balanced in their current form

Twins is so close to being the perfect killer. Like the number of different strats you can do just feels endless. If only they'd make them play feel better. I wouldn't call them balanced right now. There is also the elephant in the room named CoH.... KEKW

  • Plague (Very high skill ceiling. Needs team management. Plays out differently, depending on what the team is doing. Every game needs a unique approach. Addons are one of the best in the game. Almost all are great) I know many people don't like to play against her, including myself, but Plague's design is still really good nonetheless.

Oni (High skill ceiling, a good Oni can basically win the game in 45 seconds, if the survivors make 1-2 mistakes in those seconds. All add-ons except for passive recharge are great)

Spirit (I was very against the spirit, because she had no interactive counterplay. But with the nerf the directional sound is great and I think all addons are great)

Twins (in terms of counterplay, 1v1 and 1v4 testing. Feels clunky to play though, needs a QoL change for sure)

Pinhead (Again, tests 1v1 and 1v4. Cube hunting has a high skill ceiling. I think some addons need changes)

    Huntress feels well-designed.

So I've been thinking about this recently. I've been trying to play more survivor, primarily to improve my killer game (I'm at that awkward intermediate position where it feels like I'm plateauing a bit) and...man, it really does get tedious (and at times quite...gross) rather fast.

    The major issues are:

    • Far too many survivor perks are really, really dull. It's not that they are weak - far from it. It's that most of them amount to 'you do x faster', 'you have wallhacks', 'you have a second life' etc. Very passive and don't really involve all that much decision making, risk/reward or interactivity. There are a few exceptions, but that feels like the trend.
    • Certain perks that are just so powerful that it feels like not using them is playing the game wrong. CoH, Dead Hard and Iron Will are the first ones that come to mind. I've been complained at in postgame for not running these, and it feels like it artificially restricts build variety.
    • Other survivors are just...nasty. Not so much to each other (although there is a fair amount of sandbagging and general mean-spiritedness in postgame) but the behavior towards the killer...it makes me feel icky by proxy, to the extent where I often give a pity kill. Honestly, this is going to be something that is going to come back and bite the developers eventually - their stance of 'being a jerk in any way short of slurs or actual threats is not only acceptable, but an important part of online gaming' is a decade out of date.
    • Killer variety, even at my likely intermediate MMR (I escape more than I don't, but not by that much) is appalling. If it's not Blight, it's Huntress. Sometimes Nurse, Bubba or Nemesis. I don't mind playing against most of these, but it gets old after a while. I miss seeing Wraiths, Ghostfaces, Slingers, Cenobites, Myers etc. Even the run of Artists seems to have completely dried up.
    • There are a handful of maps that feel fair and balanced (Yamaoka and Midwich are my favorites on both sides) but a lot feel like they either play themselves or are just nightmarishly RNG.
    • DCs...it really shouldn't be the case where at least 2 in every 5 games have someone DCing. It's even more annoying as survivor, as it means that were probably going to lose by dint of someone having a sulk.
    • A handful of addons are just unfun to play against. Tombstone, Video and Ring are the ones that immediately come to mind. I'd love to see these nerfed, and Myers/Pig at least buffed elsewhere to compensate.
    • Sometimes I can go an entire game and barely see the killer, then win. I'm not sure if there is anything that can be done there, but it's pretty meh.

Overall, killer is frustrating, but the survivor role also has it's problems.

I've been playing a lot of solo queue survivor games recently to get the iri rank 1 survivor achievement. I did get much better. I can relate to many things you've said in this post.

My main issue was that like every 4th game someone dc's or gives up on the first hook for no apparent reason (unless the reason is that they've made a mistake).

Some add-ons are indeed dumb. Tombstone is incredibly stupid. I wish they'd nerf it, but then Myers is not the strongest, so... yeah. Alchemist's ring, no comment. I think videotape is completely okay, though. Not sure why you didn't like it.

In terms of killer variety, I've seen a lot. I think my MMR is probably between low and mid, since I've just now started to actually be able to loop for a long time. The issue on this MMR was facecamping. Don't get me wrong, I am not against strategic facecamping (or facecamping out of some misery, like getting rid of a toxic player, cause why not). But it was literally a useless trend. Usually Wraiths, Freddies and Bubbas did it, and god.. it happened often. I always asked the killers in the endgame chat about the reasons. Some of them said "I want to have a chance to win (even though it was clearly a bad move in that specific situation). Some of them were just very toxic in the endgame chat. Was very boring and annoying

Your teammates being toxic towards the killer for no apparent reason just made me sad every time.

And the maps... Ohhhh gosh. When I play killer 40% of the maps feels ######### the moment you load into them. Another 40% is just bad.

As survivor, it's the opposite. 80% of the time I'm happy I've loaded into the map. Makes me sad. Interestingly, I like the maps that are more balanced, because there is more chance to interact with the killer and less reason for the killer to camp. Basically the games are just more interesting on those maps (like Midwich).

Survivor can be hard, especially Solo queue. :(

Her chase music really boils my blood, I get a rush as soon as it starts and then I go on killing spree.

When I play her I am constantly in chase, till the last one is downed.

I probably did around 40 Spirit matches already since I changed from a PH Main to a Spirit Main (4 or 5 days ago) and lost 3, with all of the losses being a Brutal Killer result.

Just did my last match on the Game, I was more focused than ever.

I also don't run slowdown usually, Corrupt is an exception if I feel like it. But my Main Build is M&A, BBQ, Whispers, Brutal or Agitation.

I mostly play without Add-ons but if I do I love to use White Hair Ribbon with Muddy Sports Day cap.

Last sentence, just try her. Use your ears and predictions to hunt your prey. Can't describe how I do it with Spirit, I use my focus and instinct, but it's so much fun and rewarding.

Kinda weird, I can relate to you a lot. I am a past Executioner main but got tired of him a lot. After the Spirit "nerf" I am in love with chase music, too. Maybe I'll get inspired by you enough. Do you happen to know how her woosh works now in connection to her TR? Just curious why are you running Monitor and Abuse?

But playing a killer that relies on sound is my guilty pleasure. Just wanted to play some Oni before, to get acquainted with the family...

Also, I guess I'm a perfectionist and afraid to suck with her lol. But I'll try my best

  • I always respect good Billys! They are incredibly hard to play for me and I guess I just respect people who possess skills I don't.

I respect Twins that are playing the midgame builds, not the early snowball slugging style. I know most people don't like Twins here, but I feel like she has a lot of counterplay (although hard to pull off in solo queues) and basically endless potential. Twins are one of the most underrated killers in the game and when I see one, I have great respect for those people. Also not to talk about all the BS hate and BS changes they are getting. I would probably try to main them, if not all this #########. Mad respect for the people who play them consistently

I respect good Oni's. I respect them and am terrified of them. Literally.

Good Huntresses. No need to elaborate on that one :3

I don't respect facecamping Freddies and wraiths. I am getting so many of them and by facecamping I mean literally the first hook, standing still right there.

I don't respect Wraiths in general. mindless bong-bong gameplay. Feels very dumb, basically. It's not their fault, to be fair, more like the design of the killer is too simple. Oh, well.

Bubba is a bit like the same.

  • Remove self/heal part OR

    Remove healing speed bonus

Then there is a general problem with boons being re-blessable. Options: (Of course only one of the below)

Make it possible to bless only X times (I'd say 1 or 2)

Make it so that each totem can be blessed only once.

Make the killer be able to break a boon totem

Make snuffing disable the perk for X seconds (like 100+)

  • @RiskyKara said:

I switch to survivor main. But all joking aside, sometimes I'll leave it up knowing good and well injured survivors will run to that exact spot.

Probably best advice, to be honest. I've actually reached iri 1 yesterday for the first time in my life... Playing SoloQ is a bit annoying sometimes, especially against killers that need a lot of teamplay (like Plague, or Hag), but fun.

But yeah... I may try to play Spirit. I've played a few hours of Oni today and I just do not feel like this is something I am ready to subject myself for days/weeks.

Let's be honest, it's going to take the devs months to nerf boons, and that is IF they decide to nerf them and not Amanda

Edit: Also on maps like Midwich, for example, it's really hard to use the info that they heal inside the boon, because it could be multiple floors + even finding the position is not always simple (because they use different spots).

Oh right, Twins are not screwed enough. Oni would like to have a word too.

Yay, DS on everyone again. Just hell no.

I completely agree. I just feel like CoH is way more annoying. Like, every time I hear the stupid boon sound my blood pressure skyrockets. I may just literally facecamp in every boon game, but that would mean every single game and, not gonna lie, it'd be too boring for me :(

Edit: Also Oni and Twins are already fcked by the boons, too.. :(

  • @Murgleïs said:

I main Nurse and Blight and ignore every other killer. I also tunnel and camp if needed, and it's gg.

When I do play Nurse it feels okay, because the amount of pressure I can apply actually can outscale the power of the boon (in case I don't make mistakes)

Honestly, the main reason I like the Nurse is that in 90%+ of the games if I lose it's easy for me to see, that it was my fault, and where did I make those mistakes.

But I wanted to kinda switch towards Oni and Spirit (currently terrible with both of them)

  • @chargernick85 said:

I am probably going to regret saying this, but currently, I feel like I would legit agree to make Unbreakable basekit (at least the pick yourself up once part without the recovery speed) if I didn't have to see CoH in my games

Best to use up all resources near the totem and keep putting it out. Eventually, they will make a mistake.

I suppose you are suggesting protecting the totem spawn, however, there are usually multiple totems they use. Also, it feels inefficient to do so, since then I usually don't protect enough gens at the same time.

I am not really saying I can't win against the perk. I'm saying it creates this feeling of "hits I do don't matter because they heal up quickly an infinite amount of times" "Snuffs I do don't matter because they re-bless an infinite amount of times". A bit like a loose-loose situation

  • I'll play the way I want and let you play the way you want. That's my philosophy and I think most people should think about it this way.

  • High B, maybe even low A.

I was very skeptical about him until learned last week to locate the cube yourself. This is a skill that has a high ceiling and creates a pretty crazy pressure and slowdown for the survivors! I'd defly say high B

Edit: Forgot to add he does have some pretty good addons, too, that makes his chain be useful even at safer loops

@Oiry good killers that play Billy, huntress and Nurse with the right build can equal the good survivors in a swf. If you compare killers to good survivors, then compare the ones that play at their maximum potential, which is a good killer.

Very weird killers you've picked there. Nurse I agree, others defly not. Maybe Blight, especially with top addons

Also what you are saying is max potential = playing the best killer. I don't agree with that. You have to look at the best potential of each killer individually and then get an average of those.

I think saying "If you want to win, just play Nurse" is everything but balanced. But even saying "if you want a balanced game, play X, Y or Z", still kinda sad

Honestly if they’re ######### it makes it even more fun to get hooks on them. And sometimes it’s their cockiness that gets them killed.

If they are just there to "have some fun", maybe sabo squad with breakout, or some classic flashy saves, it can be annoying, but I will take it. But there are certain borders I expressed in the post itself, and when those are crossed, I just don't feel like it. Also, these games would usually go on for 30 minutes...

  • @dugman said:

I’m a killer main and I never go afk barring some real emergency, it’s disrespectful to the other players.

  • I don't think anything. I watched all of Otz's games and I just feel like this whole experiment wasn't addressed for me. Like, sure, if you do well with a killer, you can be a force to be reckoned with, especially playing certain killers on certain maps.

I still feel like most maps and most killers are making the survivor's job too easy, but on the other hand, it is very hard to not make mistakes as a survivor (and in solo it's almost impossible), so it's maaaybe okay?

I think Otz himself said smth like "This game is balanced, but in a very sick way. In 1 game the killer brings the best addons/perks and destroys the soloQ team, next game you're up against a competitive team with legion on Badham. Balanced...? I mean, 1 win, 1 loss... But.... yeah. not great

It would be really nice to see still buffs for certain killers that need them. Rework some absolutely insane maps.

Make some killers less clunky to play! The last changes to Plague were amazing, for example. Removing the annoying slowdown of hers when you didn't charge enough is an amazing change, and now with the Nurse bugfixes is also kind of what I'm talking about. Twins, for example, feels very clunky to play. I'm not even talking about buffs here, I'm talking QoL.

Also, unfair mechanics, like locker flashlight saves.

I guess I just feel like killers don't get enough attention, especially this mid-chapter is weird. The last one was great tho, except for deathslinger

  • Idk, I have never tbagged a new killer, and only click when I have a quest or archive to get chased. But let's be honest, I'm a killer main so I have a lot of understanding towards all killers no matter how they play.

That being said, when I meet a newer nurse, I usually even go out of my way to reassure the player, to keep it up, since she is hard!

Yesterday I played in soloQ against an artist on the storehouse. She got like 5 hooks and was upset in the endgame chat, that she was bad. I literally said you've got 5 hook states on a very hard map! Keep it up!

I literally think if all endgame chats would be smth like this, it would be so much more pleasant to play both sides.

Many of these "toxic actions" I consider just purely cringy. Like imagine tbagging a Legion on Gas Heaven, or a Pig in 85% of the maps. But oh well.. what do I know, right?

@FFirebrandd I agree these perks are dumb, but killers to have low skill tactics things they can do to secure a kill or win, like camping, using noed, etc.

@Oiry it is true that 3-4 man swfs are to strong, however solos are in a bad state due to selfish teammates leaving you enter second stage or some dumb things.

Otzdarva and others have managed to get huge win streaks in red ranks before mmr, how did they do so if the game is so survivor sided like all killer mains love to say?

@Tiller ok, but if you are going to mention how the best survivors defeat killers, then you can only compare them to the best killers that also bring broken things.

@Aurelle boon is broken just like exhaustion perks, just like NOED and facecamping killers can mostly secure 2 kills no skill.

@IamFran I agree, swfs are to strong and solos to weak.

@ThiccBudhha not really, looping is quite strong enough to give skilled survivors a fair chance against skilled killers.

I think that when we are talking about balance, we are usually talking about high-end gameplay. I do think that on the high-end this game is survivor sided on most maps against most killers. There are exceptions, though, to be fair. Some maps I think are killer-sided, but that depends on the killer.

Other than that the killer mostly depends on survivor mistakes. These are hard to not make as a survivor, ever in a swf and even with 1k hours into the game. But again, on high-end, I think survivors should escape in most situations. Not to say that any killer can put a fight, though.

  • Can't wait to hear them in-game! Great change! Amazing voice lines! I also think pinhead is just an amazing (well-designed) killer, so it's double-good! :3

  • I think it's mostly SWF sided due to 2 things:

    flawed map design

    abusable unfair mechanics.

A great example of this is the infinite locker flashlight saves. I don't think it's fair.

Well the problem with that is after 100 hours of playtime, you just can’t really get scared anymore at the game. This goes for any movie, video game, or book that may be horror, because you know what to expect when you do it a bunch. I’ve seen the Shining several times and the first time, I was creeped out. Now, if I go and see it for like the 50th time, will I really be that scared of it?

To be fair, even after 1k+ hours some killers and perks can still be quite scary. Spirit, Oni, Tinkerer With Bubba/Billy... It is pretty rare, but it's possible :3

  • A 24m meter radius is a nice change, but to be fair, towards higher MMR is would always not matter.

The thing about the terror radiuses is the better the survivors are, the less impact it actually holds. On high MMR, for example, many survivors just won't cleanse Plaything. Easier and quicker to do gens.

So your change would basically buff Pig against new/medium players, and while this is not that bad, I'd still want to see a higher MMR change, maybe.

  • A bit hard to play him in the beginning, BUT

    Very fun to play!

    Very fun to play against!

Well-designed! Has sufficient counterplay, but tests the ability of the survivors to play well 1v1, but also 4v1. (So basically without teamplay survivors will crumble)

Not the strongest killer out, but with enough skill can be very scary. The ability to find the cube is actually a skill and not completely random, making even that aspect smth that the killer can influence. (Compare that to like Nemesis Zombies, which is pretty much only random)

Like the killer very much. The only disappointing thing is this NFT story, but well

I cant believe there are still people who cry about circle of healing its not even op man you sniff the totem out and its gone its not like you cant hear this totem from miles away and for the killer it takes 1 second and for survivors it tooks about 20-30 seconds to re boon it which is a great time winni g for the killer because there is at least one idiot on a totem instead of a gen

Snuffing the totem itself is 2-3 seconds. Additionally, it takes around 2-3 seconds to position yourself and "look down" at the totem, because without that you can't actually snuff it (don't ask me why). Let's be generous and say it's 4 seconds. With all survivors alive those are 16 effective survivor seconds to snuff a boon totem.

Waaaait... Doesn't it take 16 seconds to bless the totem in the first place? Whoopsies... is it really that good to snuff the totem?

You also have to find the totem. Options:

    1) you actively look for the totem (Probably takes around 10 seconds, 40 effective survivor seconds. That's 1/2 of a generator). Now imagine on any stacked map, RPD, Midwich, The Game, etc. It can even take longer.

    2) You run into it when chasing a survivor. Snuffing is not an option, because you'd give the survivor more distance

You can argue, that it takes 40 seconds for the person to find the totem, so snuffing is balanced. Okay, sure. What about the second time? Everyone knows where the totem is. Killers cant remove it. There is no cooldown on the perk either.

There is a reason on high MMR never snuff the totems unless it's towards the endgame.

I dunno man, I haven't been able to load into a game with a Haddonfield offering in years :/

Can relate.. Haddonfield and RPD offerings can crush the game pretty consistently... :/
