  • One of my problems with this game is why does it have Rank and no rewards.

First off this game 100% should not have Rank it should be Casual only or add a Casual mode.

I wanted Rank to be a mode where both killers and survivors go in without perks, items or add-ons and no map offerings. Each round Survivors should be able to ban 1 killer from use & Killer should be able to ban 1 survivor from use. (You cannot ban the same killer or survivor for each round)

Casual mode should be what we have now.

As for rewards, I think they should give AC for making it to Ranks 1-4, Shards for 5-8, BP for 9-12, very small amount of BP for 13-16 & nothing for 17-20.

  • Nurse

    Freddy

    Hag

    Huntress

    Myers

    Ghostface

    Demogorgon

    Plague

    The true tier list.

My tier list with the demogorgon:

    Nurse

    Spirit

    Billy

    Huntress

    Freddy

    Hag

    Plague

    Demogorgon

    Pig

    Ghostface

    Clown

    Myers

    Trapper

    Doctor

    Wraith

    Legion

    LF

Whoa there I know this is your opinion, but what in the world makes you think Clown & Pig are better then Myers?

How is Clown better then Myers?

Myers has way more pressure then Clown or Pig.

Again I know it's your opinion, but it sounds like you're having problems against killers most of us have a field day against. Sorry if I come off rude.

Plus why does so many people keep putting Huntress over Freddy and he's better then her.

Freddy has mindgames, Fake pallets, Snares & gen teleportation and 115% movement speed.

Huntress has....... Hatchets... That good survivors can dodge or know when to vault or throw pallets down on her. Plus she's slow and LoS is her enemy.

Freddy applies way more pressure and so does Hag.

Billy does not need addons to be a top 3 killer. Watch a good Billy play, and you'll see what he can do. Billy doesn't need Ruin or even addons to be very good.

I have seen good Billy players play without add-ons and still struggle and I myself don't even use Ruin on my Billy & still manage to get 3 to 4 kills.

  • It's funny they say that because Billy requires add-ons to be a top 3 killer.

Who here hasn't versed one Billy without instasaw or turning add-ons.

Billy's a good killer but kind of overrated. Good survivors that are good at timing pallet drops or using windows at right moments pretty much force Billy to M1.

Without thoughs add-ons his chainsaw is very easy to dodge.

  • I mean I'll be using Dying Light & Thanathpobia on my Plague since no one likes to cleanse and everyone will be one shot.

The penalty will just keep adding up. Either stay broken and one shot while doing gens slower or cleanse and give me my Corrupt. ☺

  • Hitboxes, Gen speed, maps, safe pallets & whatever other problems this game has.

  • @MemberBerry said:

Or are they just low tier garbage?

Ghostface isn't low tier, he's a mid-tier killer. His only problem is bad map designs & his stalking ability is so-so but if you can get the expose off, he's pretty threatening, especially if he has spirit fury and enduring.

He's basically a better Pig with Myers ability to expose.

  • Hands down LF, Myers, Freddy, Spirit, Demogorgon & Hag.

I don't wanna be stalked or killed in my dreams or haunted or hacked up and eaten

  • I play Clown all the time kappa

But seriously I want to see more Clown and he needs a buff.

  • Ok if we're gonna be honest.

    Top 10 Killers:

    Nurse

    Spirit

    Hillbilly

    Freddy

    Huntress

    Hag

    Myers

    Ghostface

    Plague

    Trapper

    Bottom 6 Killers:

    Legion

    Clown (needs rework)

    Pig

    Wraith

    Leatherface (needs rework)

Doctor (most definitely needs a rework)

    IMO:

    Nurse

    Hillbilly

    Spirit

    Huntress

    Freddy

    Yes but switched around.

    Nurse

    Spirit

    Billy

    Freddy

    Huntress

Freddy should definitely be in front of Huntress.... He puts on way more pressure then her and his fake pallets or snare are great for mindgames. Idc if Huntress can throw hatchets... Most survivors (good ones) dodge them and count how many she throws and know when to use pallets on her. Not to mention she's slow.

  • The op doesn't understand this game or probably doesn't play killer at all.

If the op is tired of seeing Ruin every game then imagine how the killer feels about Adrenaline, DS, Borrowed Time or Balanced Landing.

  • Ruin op? Didn't know a Hex totem that only last 10secs in a match was overpowered?

Seems like someone doesn't know how to do gens with Ruin up. I bet you're one of those players who actually gen tap as well.

This is a player that for sure doesn't play killer at all or else you would understand how fast gens actually really go before the killer could actually play the game.

If you play killer then you should understand that it's pretty much needed to slow down the game so that they can actually have time to do stuff and apply pressure.

If you think Ruin should be nerfed, then gen repair speed should be heavily nerfed because there are some killers in this game that don't apply pressure like some others do.

  • Myers, he's the only real scary killer because you never know what add-on he's running and you don't wanna mess up and let him stalk too much.

A lot of people think he's overrated or whatever, but those who say he is are usually the ones that don't play him or don't even know how to play him correctly or they pretty much get wrecked by him.

Myers to me is the perfect killer. He has the stealth at the beginning, then his power increases throughout the match.

  • Inner Strength = Noed Counter/Nerf

If all survivors start running this perk, all I can say is Rip Noed users.

My friend there's a new counter to that leave the survivor in the locker or count down the 60 seconds and then rip them out.

The whole point is that the killer is wasting time and losing pressure. The other survivors will punish the killer by rushing the gens. If the survivor goes into a locker just leave them and if they don't, just slug them.

  • Did I just read a post from someone that doesn't know how to use DS properly?

My friend..... Just jump in a locker.

It forces the killer to take the DS.

DS is still one of the top five best survivor perks in the game. You're just not using it to its full potential, sorry.

i hope we get thursday a dev stream for a showcase

I can already see them giving Steve his Scoops Ahoy! Outfit.

  • @Catbucket said:

    seperate survivors.

Wow, really! So 6 new perks then. That's insane.

  • Adding 2 survivors will be a huge disappointment for half of the community.

Even though they added Legion... 4 killers in 1.

  • @YaiPa said:

How can Plague have little hook pressure, if almost every game, everybody is broken?

Op doesn't understand how to really play Plague or what perks best fit her.

To play Plague you basically need a Gen slow down build because survivors are going to be broken throughout the entire match because no one wants to cleanse and give her corrupt, which is good for her because everyone is one shot and the objective is to force them to cleanse or get downed quick and easy.

Her only problem will be pallets, so you can use Brutal Strength to help on that part.

  • For killer side I only bring an ebony whenever I see a tryhard swf team in my lobby or just survivors bringing in anything to progress the game really fast or to escape early (2 or more toolboxes or Keys.)

For survivor side I can understand that ebony's really are broken and unfun to play against because you have some killers that will just tunnel the survivor that just got off hook no matter what.

To be honest, Ebony is actually bad for both sides, because no one pips and the games end quick.

Should ebony be changed? I don't know, half of me is saying yes but the other half is saying no. In some way it's needed but also unfun for one side.

Imo, I feel like killers should have a built in mori that allows them to kill survivors if they're dead on their next hook. A little bit of an option between putting them on hook or bleeding out.

  • Hands down Spirit is better. I'll take a Hillbilly in my games over a Spirit any day.

Billy is still a great killer but hands down Spirit is by far the only killer almost to Nurse's level.

Her mindgames are disgusting & if you have good ears while using her power she's taking down anyone.

Billy has great mobility and a one shot, but good survivors can pretty much outplay him and force him to M1.

The only way he'll be able to take them down is if he had Insta-saw and imo that's bad because it kind of makes him feel like a add-on dependent killer.

  • I mean if they just look at how they've handled Ghostface's outfits were they can change his outfit and swap out his masks.

Why not have the Jacket with the bunny ears apart of her torso and we can switch out different Feng head pieces with it like we can do with Ghostface.

  • @CakeDuty said:

Makes me sad to hear about other peoples luck. Whenever I run a plunderer build (Plunderers + Ace in Hole) I only get brown medkits, brown toolbox and yellow toolboxes with 1 dumb addon. I wish they'd remove the ability to get brown items if you ran the perk, at least.

I think Ace in the hole is what messes it up. I only use Plunderer's by itself and I'm finding skeleton keys, purple flashlights & more.

  • @indieeden7 said:

I mean, I was running a Plunderer's build today, rarest item I found was a green map. Took the build off after a while and first match without it, I found a rainbow map.

I don't know about you but using the perk just in one match I've found a Skeleton key & a Rainbow map. Using that perk I've had back to back games finding great rare items. I'm so nice that I'll even give them away to my teammates.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

And with ace in a hole, prepare for Instaheals! This is a high impact perk tbh.

I'm having back to back games finding skeleton keys!

  • @kamisen said:

I don't think rare/ultra rare keys should be lootable in chests. It's kind of weird to be able to stumble upon such a powerful item.

Not gonna lie. I used Plunder's today with a rare luck offering...... Found a Skeleton key off the jump already. XD

But seriously whenever I see key's or toolboxes in my lobby, I just bring Franklin's and a Mori.

If they're trying to rush gens or escape early, I'll end the game quick myself and I'll be swiping those items as well.

  • @Spicybarbecue said:

adrenaline in of itself isn't a problem, it's when you stack it with all the other free win perks(ds,bt,dead hard) that it becomes a real issue.

I agree, it does suck when you get a full team that are all running the same perks and are rushing gens. Imo, this is where the devs need to try and buff a lot of the weaker perks and switch up the meta.

  • Just stop already with these nerf adrenaline threads.

If killers can't respect adrenaline and are asking for it to be changed, then why should survivors have to respect Noed.

Survivors have a problem with Noed.

Killers: git gud or break totems.

Killers have a problem with adrenaline.

Survivors: shouldn't have gotten selfcare nerfed, don't slug or maybe git gud.

The whole things a cycle. Stop asking for survivor nerfs and start asking for map design changes and get rid of a lot of safe pallet loops.

My number 1 big problem from playing killer is that generators go too fast. I don't care what perks survivors are using as long as the gens don't go so fast.

  • @Ember_Hunter said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/611103#Comment_611103

I only had a pallet and I was outside :( (Preschool map)

I was just about to say this.

Yea Myers is my main and I think he's very fun to go against and it's like I can tell what add-ons they're running and if it's Tombstone you can just jump into a locker and force him to hook you.

Therefore you stay in the game and now he can't stalk you as much and can't tombstone you anymore.

  • Hmm, I always thought about adding aura reading to it. Small Game goes off every 8secs when you're in the range of a Totem or Trap. Reveals the aura of Totems and Traps for 2 or 3 seconds.

  • @drkiwie said:

Progress bars not appearing, skill checks not appearing, dead hard not working, random disconnects and saying me or my friends do not have a network connection...not being able to wiggle on killers shoulder....ummm....action button not working having to spam it...errrrr if I find more this weekend I'll update ya xD

Yup! I'm experiencing all that as well. I even loaded into a game where the title of the map was stuck on my screen and I couldn't see skill checks or if my teammates were injured or not on the bottom left. Deadhard is bugged, I literally took it off. I was mad because I was getting caught because of that bug.

There's even a bug where if you take a hit from a Huntress hatchet or other killers I maybe don't know of yet. You can't heal yourself and when exitgates are open, it gives you the bug to run outside the map so you can't escape and you just die to EGC.

  • Ok I thought playing against a Freddy with fake pallets were going to be tough, but after awhile it's really not.

If you're out of the Dreamworld and if you pay attention to some areas with no pallets and when you're in the Dreamworld all of a sudden there's a crap ton pallets there now..... You know they're fake.

  • Uhhh, to alot of this... No.

Noed isn't really a problem, but in my opinion I get a little tilted at killers that have one shot built-in that uses it.

Okay, so the whole survivors not healing themselves and doing gens fast because of adrenaline thing in my eyes is so stupid.

Like a year ago killers complained that Selfcare was bs and broken because a survivor can just heal themself, while others were working on gens. Devs heard them loud and clear and decided to nerf the perk and now here we are today with survivors not healing and using adrenaline. Killers now want that perk nerfed.

The point here is that killers are contradicting themselves. They wanted survivors to waste their teammates time to heal them. If Survivors aren't healing, then they should be easier to catch then right? I don't understand some killers that want adrenaline nerfed to begin with... It's a perk that doesn't activate until all gens are done. Meanwhile when a survivor complains about Noed they tell them to git gud or just break all the totems.

If killers want survivors to respect Noed, then killers should respect adrenaline. At the end of the day does having adrenaline really matter when you're running Noed anyway?

Billy isn't really as op as people make him out to be. Does he sometimes get bs chainsaws off..... Yes! But in my opinion that's not enough to remove his instadown. It's more about using the environment against Billy so he can't use his power and force him to M1 you. If they were to every nerf Billy one day, it will most likely be his base movement speed. They'll have to turn him from a 115% movement speed killer to 110% because of his mobility. (Which makes sense, because Nurse has high mobility but a low movement speed.)

Legion's fatigue change is fine and the the speed of Frenzy is kind of balanced. But I think a lot of people missed the point of why they made Legion's vault slower. It was because Legion would vault the window fast and survivors would pull a U-turn and vault back over the pallets or windows. So they did that so Legion would stop that. A good build for Legion would be Thanathpobia, Ruin, STBFL & Bbq or Sloppy.

Prayer beads should just be an Ultra Rare add-on that should be harder to find on the bloodweb.

    Bamboozle... No, it's fine.

  • He's very fun to play as to be honest. On the survivor side I did thought that it was going to be a little hard to remember which pallets were real, but as the match progresses you can actually start to tell what's fake, so it's not as hard as I thought.

On the other hand his gen teleport is kind of crazy to play against if he has either Bbq or Thrilling Tremors paired with Pop goes the Weasel. He just deletes gens.

  • @PandapocalypzexX said:

Can I just say...for as much as people praise the nurse...I never play against one. Lots of have, Billy and Myers. Occasional trapper. Nurse like once every 15 games or so.

I'm not sure she's all that and a bag of chips.

Trust me you don't ever want to actually go up against someone that is God like with Nurse. It'll make you question why is this killer in the game?

  • @Mister_xD said:

its pretty typical for the forum tbh...

first everyone agrees that certain things are broken and need nerfs / reworks and when the devs actually go and nerf / reowrk them, everyone complains.

its the same story as the legion changes .-.

you just cant make it right for some people...

Yea I remember. Everyone was complaining about how annoying and bs Legion was and then the Devs changed them by nerfing the annoying side of Legion and slightly buffing the weaker side, then everyone cried and yelled that they killed Legion.

  • @ClogWench said:

They're fixing add-ons and lightly touching on her power. Never confirmed her power is getting a nerf tho, just being lightly tweaked

Ok so everyone is overreacting then

  • I feel like Trapper is super underrated. He's the only killer I get super frustrated playing against, because I have no clue where he'll have a random trap at & he shuts down good loops.

What makes Trapper weak is him starting off the match having to waste time placing traps and going all across the map to pick them up. What happens most of the time is that you'll place 1 trap down, walk away to find another and then out of nowhere you're suddenly in a chase. Now you're in a predicament were you're in a chase and so far you've only placed 1 trap and you're being looped, meanwhile the other survivors are doing gens and by time you catch this person, that'll be 2 or 3 gens done already. So he definitely needs some help. (I hate myself)

But in my opinion Doctor is by far the weakest killer in the game. Doc is a mega add-on dependent killer in order to be decent. The guys shock range is the size of a puddle and there's no mindgaming good survivors with his shock to stop them from looping. I get so happy to see a Doc in my games, because I know I'm going against a normal killer.

Doc has so much potential to be a B tier or maybe even A tier. There's 1 or 2 ways to buff Doc that'll make him better. 1. Increase the range of his shock therapy wave or make the brown add-on that increases the range base for him. 2. Increase the speed of the shock wave on the ground so it hits the survivors quicker as soon as he releases. This will stop survivors from jumping through windows they shouldn't have never gotten through and stop survivors from making it to safe pallets. (sorry for long post)

  • @PinkEricka said:

That doesn’t make any sense though.

You wake up from adrenaline..... but you get exhausted... but it won’t activate if you are exhausted...

The whole point of adrenaline is fight or flight mode.

It kinda takes away the meaning.

plus adrenaline doesn’t need a nerf. It rewards survivors for finishing gens and is ONLY activated at end-game.

Exactly, killers shouldn't complain about Adrenaline when they get mad at survivors that complain about Noed and say it's fair.

  • @GrootDude said:

@OGlilSPOOK20 I’m not that altruistic and my teammates usually unhook before me.

I mean sure you can use them, but I just feel like ever since they introduced Deliverance, it made Slippery Meat & Up the Ante useless. I just feel like they need a buff.

  • People were using this combo until Deliverance was released. There's no point anymore, just use Deliverance it's better.

  • Maybe they should make it just for safe hook saves then.

  • Ohhh, so you must be new new to this game.

Just look at a wall or tree or rock to dodge the flash. But if you're really scared just use Lightborn.

Pallet throw drop while picking up a survivor. It depends if they time it right. But just make sure nobody is around before the pick up.

  • Idk about #4. That pretty much becomes a farming process. That mode already allows us to use any perks, offering & you want them to allow us to gain BP from it?

Might as well not be Kill Your Friends anymore. It'll be Farm With Friends.

Nope, too easy. That kills the experience and gives people a easy way to level up characters. There wouldn't be any reason to actually play against others.

Plus it would create a situation where people would start to smurf. A Dwight at Rank 20 and Devotion lvl 1 with 4 fully equipped level 3 perks running through matches getting free wins.

1 2 3 4 5 6 … 12
