I main Trapper and I love the corn.

Hahahahaha, I kinda like that idea.

...ok? So you got mad at survivors BMing so you do it in return and that's fine, just know that you're no better than them when you do it and you're just hurting yourself by not getting a lot of BPs.
That's you assuming he cares about the blood points. I know I don't. I'll face camp and or tunnel a tbagger.
-
I take the hate mail as a sign of a job well done.
-
I'm only a mid rank killer at best. I don't like having to try hard, I play primarily to swing my machete and chase people around and I don't have any issues with the Moris or the Keys, I rarely get any Moris in my bloodweb and if the survivors escape like that then that's just my bad luck...
Gotta roll with the punches, you win some you lose some.
-
I love my Trappy Boi but you make some valid observations My Friend...
-
I only regularly play as the Trapper so I have no idea about the DCs for other killers but it's rare for me to experience less than 1 DC a match.
-
That guy was a Trapper after my own heart. Good on him for finding a game he can enjoy. Best of luck to you avoiding players like him in the future.
-
I was pretty stoked when I was only rank 18, the matchmaking was all screwy and I slaughtered all 4 victims ranks 7, 9, 11, 12...
I only play for sh!ts and giggles, it's a fun as game. So beating a match up like that when I was so new to the game I was over the moon.
-
From what I've seen of my missus as a survivor main, she cops more abuse from other survivors than I do as a killer main.
-
Nosferatu or maybe Vlad the impaler....

I was merely letting you know that he probably meant to thank you, especially since he accompanied the tbagging with the dropping of his toolbox. Most killers acknowledge this and aren’t salty about it. To each their own I guess.
Not my thread. That scenario has never happened to me with somebody leaving an offering.
I'll be sure to consider what you said if it ever does.

A tbag is a tbag. TBag at me and we ain't friends.

Thats incorrect a killer can simply look down to avoid the blind its literally impossible towards high ranks as killers know they can just look down to avoid the beam.
Huh... in the mid ranks when being torched I've been turning slightly, sorta crab walking a couple steps then swinging around as I hit the attack button, I'd say I get the hit about 70ish% of the time.. I can't believe I didn't think to just look down.
-
I don't play as the Nurse but I dabble time from time as a victim and recently I noticed that I've been able to loop nurses... and I can't loop anybody...
-
The times used to be like that for me but it's much quicker now in Australia than it was a couple months ago.
-
I'm not an expert or even well read on the game lore and am pretty much just going with what I've read on here but...
The entity feeds off your despair no? Despite it seemingly being sucky, isn't the difficulty of the accomplishments in line with the lore of the game?
-
I've not been playing a victim long but Michael is the bane of my existence no matter the build.
-
No way in hell is the Trapper survivor approved. I almost always get a DC as him.
-
Whatever the one is that reduces the cool down time after missing a victim with my machete...

Wait, you are Aussie? Well that's awkward...
I'm pretty sure you knew I wasn't serious about the matchmaking comment. I was just having a go at it. I've made some good south american friends because of the quality of the match making we have had.

I am too. I just assumed you were in america right now or something. People never seem to message after a match. : /
That's a shame. After match convos are sometimes great.

Well, you're not the norm in my region. : P
It sucks for most people that they aren't Australian...
Not that I know how the regions and match making work... I mean does anybody know how the matchmaking really works?
-
@Raven014 said:
On Xbox this isn't really a problem because people don't extend any messages to each other.
I message most of the people after a match and say GG. Sometimes I extend out a comment about how they really ran me around like an idiot or something like that. Maybe a cheeky comment on how they got lucky but next time it's not going to go down like that.

Thanks for the update. Tell us how it goes. 3000 word essay, by Nov. 1st.
I'll get on that.

Looking ready to knock em dead...
-
Chasing people with a machete...
-
@thrawn3054 Jane's figure is up there with potato team mates and telling them to just do a F&**ing generator as the most common things she talks about while playing.
-
I'm pretty sure the #1 reason my missus plays survivor is so she can look at Jane's arse...
-
I don't have an issue with the generator speeds. I don't have that competitive drive a lot of the community seem to share, it's a fun game and I don't care if I pip depip rank up whatever. I mainly just like to chase and hack at people with a machete.
-
One of the dumbest things I've seen is something I did the other day. Had two survivors left and all of the traps around the exits... after what was about 10 to 15 minutes of playing cat and mouse one of the buggers came into my view and instead of keeping my head and keeping them in a stalemate I chased after the one I saw. By the time I managed to get a hit on them they had suckered me on to the opposite side of the map and bang. Trap set off at the exit switch. I broke off and managed to get to the exit just in time to see them disappear and the one I stopped chasing took the hatch...
Also I've had survivors crouching creeping backwards around a corner and walk right into me.
-
Nurse.
-
Playing as a victim averaging 2-2.5 gens and a totem. Escape rarely. But I don't mind taking one for the team. It is just a game.
-
Nope. I take what the entity gives me.
-
Also my missus likes to "dance" with ghost face... It would greatly annoy me if that was punishable. By it I mean she... she would annoy me if a part of her fun was suddenly punishable. I would have to hear about it every day...
-
Being serious this time. I like to set up my traps, pick a survivor and try to see how many of my traps I can herd them into. I stop right behind them until they get freed and resume the chase.

I run into 99%'s every map. It's the sweattiest of tactics: A SWF group will 99% both gates at the same time, then run interference when unhooking friends like an NFL defensive line.
The Killer WILL NOT get a single down: You will hit the unhooker instead of the unhooked, then their full-health friend will run in and block the unhooker, while the unhooked taps the gate to open it & all 3 get away.
It's basically a way for SWF's to 100% ensure they all escape.
That sucks.
-
I main the Trapper and trapping the gate switch is usually the first thing I do. To the best of my knowledge I've not experienced the issue you're talking about. I'm only a mid rank player so you might run into stiffer competition than I do.
-
That'll be a no from me. Let them have their fun. Sometimes you can catch them slipping, doing their dance just a little too far from the exit line and you get to decorate a hook.
-
Social anxiety and portion control at dinner time would be my greatest personal challenges... or are we talking about something else..?
-
I keep score with some of the survivors if I run into them multiple times in an evening and if they've been getting the better of me I let them know what the score is and tell them I'm going to tunnel the hell out of them. It's lead to some good conversations and fun matches. Was 2-2 with one a while back so I brought an Ebony Mori in for the tie breaker and didn't manage to catch them lol.
If you main a survivor that people love to kill then that could compound your issue. Myself if I run into Ace that's usually it for that player. I'll often throw a game just to kill him.
Maybe you've been outplaying a lot of people and they've marked you as threat. There are several players that if I match against I know I have to remove them from the game asap to have a chance at winning.
-
My girlfriend plays as a survivor and she kept wanting to me to play but being a victim didn't appeal to me. Once I found out that I could play as a killer I dove right in.
-
Trapper main but I've been dabbling a little with the Doctor.
-
@martin27 said:
I had a game where i was getting hardcore tunnelling, didn't matter about borrowed time or my DS or the number of times he kept getting pallet stunned while carrying me. He just kept on tunnelling ne the entire match like a ######### loser
Are you Australian, play on X box and play as Ace... Cause if so that was probably me.

@DelsKibara said:
I've been seeing Survivors DC more often as Killer. Though I think that is mainly because I am playing as Spirit. Like half of the survivors in my games tend to disconnect when they find out they're facing against the Spirit.
As a Trapper main it's rare to not have at least one DC.
-
@Steve0333 said:
Try tunneling in red ranks. By the time you kill that one survivor you've been chasing all game while ignoring everyone else, all the gens will be done. This is why the higher rank you go, the less tunneling and camping you see. Really good killers don't do it. tunneling is a mark of a bad killer that struggles to get out of green ranks.
Struggle to me would imply that they are wanting or trying to rank up...

Every thing is so simple with you. You provided 5 perks and also you will need an exhaustion perk to give distance between you and killer. 6 perks to avoid annoying play style. Plus you can only use DS once and it is quite easy to avoid that for 60 sec slugging.
There is literately not much you can do if killer wants you dead. Even if that costs them the game they still go after you, prevent you having a decent game.
You're not really much of a team player are you?
If you are tunneled to the killers detriment and you are able to survive long enough for the rest of the team to escape you may die but your side wins. How is your team winning not a decent game? it's all about perspective.

I interpreted Sweaty to meet a player who has to completely focus and use some scummy tactics to perform better than his actual skill level.
If focus and "scummy" tactics make a person perform better than they normally do then wouldn't that actually represent their true skill level?

The ebony Mori is still unhealthy regardless. And there pretty common to get. Doesn't matter if they don't have infinite amounts of uses like D'S. D's is a anti tunneling perk, Ebony Moris are a "I want this match to end quickly" mechanic. Which one should be looked at or is unhealthy?
In all the time I have been playing and since I've joined the forum I've only had 3 pop up in my blood web. Maybe I'm just unlucky but I don't personally see them being anything but rare. Anecdotal evidence is not evidence of anything so my experience is easily discounted but I have yet to see anybody prove that for the majority of killers it is as common as the complaining posts on the forum would suggest.
