I doubt my play style will change too much. I do what I feel like each game. Sometimes I just like to set traps and chase people all game, making sure to swing my machete too early so I don't hit them.

It happens. Why would I complain about people out playing me? Had one game that seemed like it lasted less than 5 minutes. Only saw one of the survivors once.
It's their role to escape.

Nobody came, died on first hook. Happened several times. They weren't doing gens either, at least half were just crouching middle of nowhere.

There were a few good games but my Lord, it's hard being competent (I think I'm competent) down in yellow and I'm happy that I'll soon be out of this hellhole. When do I start seeing the survivors I have to deal with who do gens and things? When will I find killers like me who understand that not camping might get you more points?
Rant over, and my sympathies to all new survivor players.
The killer knocking you on the hook wasn't a Trapper by chance?

You'd still get Killers like me that don't care about the blood points or getting into higher ranks or any of the technical crud. I'm in this to chase people down with a machete and watch them die. If you don't like it I hope you get a killer that plays the way you wish they would next time.

Most people play killer. Most people ONLY play killer. People never play more thay a game or 2 of survivor in a row since it's incredibly toxic, broken and not fun

My missus plays as a survivor and she often gets abuse from those that fell victim to the killer.

Oh don't say that. As a Killer I find wiggling to be great fun. Picking up a dropped victim and running around with them on my shoulder until they wiggle free of my grip and I get to chase them down again. It's one of my favourite things.

Seriously though, I want to know if those people are thinking they are taunting me by giving me points?
I don't play as a victim, I don't understand their motivations.
