killer closing hatch gets priority over surv jumping in

blight is ultra rewarding to learn and satisfying, nothing feels better than 180 flicks
-
slinger, nothing about him is remotely interactive

It's a sad reality when SWF feel the need to bully killers via Toxicity. As people say, never let them get to you. They just crave the attention and are most likely just trying to show off for their friends. Just play normally and give them a GG in end-game if you can.
Of course, some SWF bully squads also fail miserably when they try which is even better. An example of this is a match I had last night against a SWF Blly squad that tried to play the 'deny hooks' game.
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/HJSJUN3C0Q5X/bullysquadfail.jpg
They tried the usual low rank = baby killer routine on me. They clearly didn't know how to go against a Hag well, because despite me only having a Body-block add-on, they couldn't handle it at all. So best thing to do is stay calm in a match, and just try your best, and try enjoy yourself, because no matter how toxic people try to act, there are far more positive players in the game who will give you a friendly match.
damn bro green ranks are optimal

you get good 👍️

just have eyes and ears, all stealth killers are crappy m1 killers if u have some awareness

I mean... basic lunging as well? Plus some killers have super lunges as part of their power or a side effect of a speed boost in their power. Wraith, Spirit, T3 Myers, Pig, and debatably Demogorgon all fit into one of those categories.
Edit: Also one could argue that Nurse has the most super lunge in the game. 300% movespeed for a maximum of 20 meters that does not care if there are walls and other obstacles in the way.
also her actual weapon range is increased compared to other killers

Samantha hasnt gotten an exit gate escape on her in pubs since 2019 with toth devour
How do people just now realize devour+another hex that can protect it is insane
-
Shes by far the most rewarding killer to learn, why are you discouraging people from learning her?
The only "real" issues she has is the bug that physically doesnt allow u to blink at all that sometimes happens and the fact that charging ur blink for under half a second sends you directly to the basement if ur on 2nd floor midwich if ur looking downwards despite the fact that your blink isnt charged enough to travel all that distance.
-
"They've made low tier killers viable Freddy, Doctor, and Bubba use to be unviable now they can be competitive at high ranks."
How are high ranks even close to competitive???
-
we already have that and its called pubs

console players get more hate as far as im aware

I just started recently and have gotten into the dbd community and mainly just read through other peoples opinions on things to see if mine are similar, but one thing I seemed to notice is SWF (Survivor with Friends) groups being really tilting for some people.
I just experienced that today and it was probably the worst experience i've ever had
I'm not expecting to always win my matches, or always do really good in all of my matches, so when I do bad in a game, I accept it and move on
But these teams make it honestly unplayable
One person just loops you around and makes you look stupid for chasing them while the rest of them just 3 man a gen.
I know that they also wont remove SWF either. I honestly think that there should be an option that only let's you queue up with random players. That way, SWF can still have their fun and killers can still have fun too.
I really hope devs somehow fix or nerf this.

its not op, youre clearly new lol, stop blaming everything instead of yourself for losing
-
Because people would probably say "I only lost because my killer is weak, look at the killrates!" instead of getting good.
-
Force them to want to improve so they can kill me :)
-
yoooo urban evasion selfcare meghead saying how the game should work
-
"When is this perk going to be fixed? It is intended as a defensive perk for survivors when a killer tunnels them. As such, it is essentially an ''anti-tunnel'' perk yet it benefits the survivor even outside this context."
Any proof to the devs saying thats what they want it to be, or did you just pull the statement out of your ass?

You've said in an earlier thread that you use coulro and sloppy on slugging builds. DS isn't very impactful in those builds. DS is impactful on killers that don't mass slug.
Do you really expect me to believe you're getting constant 3-4k 12 hook games while eating every DS without meta perks as Clown? Really?
that can happen just about every match and its achieved by getting good 👍️
-
im so new to the game i dont know basic mechanics yet i think i should make suggestions on how the game should work...
-
Nothing, I have like 600h on nurse alone, I haven't versed a team that was close to causing me any trouble in like 2 months.
-
I don't care if you say you've 4k'd after taking 4 DSs, because that simply means you're went against absolute bot survivors and would have won anyway.
yeah, this is literally every pub ever, there are nothing else besides bots, why are you complaining then if you said that ds doesn't matter when you verse bots?
-
you git gud at game sense and find a chase like 10s into the game and your chase shouldnt last longer than 20s ever. you should have at least 4 total hooks like 2 mins into the match.
-
spirit too hard surv op, understood.
flaming aside, nothing wrong with proxying/slugging/tunneling, its optimal in some situations, dumb "honor" rules dont get you anywhere🤷♂️
P.S. I love you Komodo16!
-
Your own shortcomings on downing survivors fast isn't a game issue.
-
dude thats a great screenshot
-
nono, you got it wrong, the proper counterplay to everything in this game is gitting gud 👍️
-
- OP
- I don't have to run around rocks
- I can end the game in 3 mins with 50k bp

no, nobody gets upset over BM, it was all an elaborate rouse to have people think that BM is... bad, but you unmasked our plan :(
I am sorry, I should've kept my mouth shut. :(

It's less of because they're getting outplayed, it's more of because they don't know how to counter it, if someone is constantly running a new killer around an LT wall, how is the killer supposed to learn anything from that? Are they just supposed to understand how to do it off the bat?
It's not about outplaying, because the killer doesn't know how how to outplay the survivor in the first place.
Yes, the killer is supposed to learn something from that, with practice comes improvement, you aren't supposed to know how to do something properly when you do it for the first time, but no matter what side you're playing, you can learn something from every chase.
-
@DwightFairfield said:
BM is particularity obnoxious if the survivor in question knows how to loop effectively, if they click that flashlight and t-bag at the killer's expense, it become humiliating and demoralizing, and often the killer will tunnel the survivor in question, leading the the survivor then yelling at them for tunneling, making the killer feel even worse.
it's nothing but pure toxicity, and it ruins the fun for killer players.
I don't see how getting outplayed ruins fun, sounds like the survivor is just better than the killer in that situation to me, also the killer isn't forced to tunnel, they choose to, you can simply not mind someone BM'ing you and play normally.
-
@BioX said:
"If anything to me getting bmed is funny because i already know i'm gonna down them in like 10s max. Why do people get upset and BM?"
How you cannot see it after a sentence like that is beyond me.
The point is obviously not the muppets who BM and then get punished for their own stupidity, its those who taunt you while you cant do anything about it.
I wonder how much you would enjoy being slugged and a killer just headbanging over you and just wait for you to bleed out
I'm extremely confident in my killer gameplay, I haven't had a match where I thought "I did the best I could and I still felt powerless" in a long time.
Also I was trying to talk about getting BM'ed as killer being "tilting" despite it not affecting your gameplay. As survivor it's another story, because the killer has the power of making the match extremely unenjoyable for you.
-
Stretched resolution doesn't give an advantage anymore, they patched the extra fov it used to give you at around slinger release, you have nothing to worry about unless you somehow manage to not modifiy the settings file properly and tick eac off(which has a very slight chance of happening.)
-
Nothing. Killer is extremely enjoyable and you're permanently in control of the match and you get way more bp than while playing survivor.
-
Every other rank is extremely boring, 4king bots at 5 gens is unfun, in red ranks you 4k bots at 3 gens at least, its very slightly more of a challenge.
-
Camaraderie is good for organized teams, second wind is inconsistent and baby sitter is trash.

tapps are just premium bills

git gud👍️
-
did you just call pubs competitive? ahahahahahahah
-
I started playing competitively as survivor and nurse at around 2500h into the game, tho I got really good for the pub level at nurse at around 800h.
-
yes men pubs too hard, I lose my killer pubs because survs have it too easy, not because i suck

please. Get whoever you want and play against me. I will make sure you guys won’t get more than 10k bp each.
unless you are one of the best players in the world at nurse/spirit, i guarrantee you thats not going to happen, maybe 1 day youre gonna be there.

Sweaty matches in kyf are not a ranked/competitive mode, especially as even choosing the same map can give you a massive deadzone or enough pallets to build a ski lodge with. Anything otherwise would need dev support which is unlikely to be forthcoming.
there are community made tourneys where there are the best players you can find, no dev support needed

I've done and witnessed 5 gen runs even outside kyf. Long chases are rare not because survivors are bad but because at red rank these days even the most unexperienced killer knows to drop a chase if it's taking too long.
Pips are appealing just to those streamers or biased players that pretend that survivors should be happy with a pip while killers MUST get at least 3k every game.
I got r1 more than 2 years ago i couldn't care less about getting a pip
From my experience, you're greatly overrating the average killer, or maybe im enough of an annoyance to make them want to tunnel me

If a so called competitive team plays to win you're not even gonna have a long chase considering that gens will be done in 2 minutes and that's nothing out of the ordinary even for pubs.
My question is: While you are playing an alleged tourment do you feel accomplished by getting a safe pip or not?
In pubs theres no surv good enough to be able to loop for all gens to get done fast if you play well, also, in tourneys, wins are usually counted by sacrifices/some made-up points which are measured each match. I used pips as a justification because they are much more appealing to most players.

Escaping letting survivors add-ons was more or less changed because of SWF squads going all out and keeping the majority of their items/addons so they can continue to go all out in every single game.
Much like the anti camp feature the game had tried SWF abused the mechanic so badly it got removed.
I wouldn't say it's "abuse", maybe barely any killers were good enough to be able to win against them, I don't see the issue with keeping addons for a long time if no one manages to kill you with them.

Actually, I know what the problem is: I play late at night, as in right now I'm playing some PH and it's 11.32pm my time and I just checked my opponents profiles and they're all friends but 1. When I play earlier in the day, it's way more chill.
It may be a myth, I personally don't know, since I don't play late at night, but i've been told more "sweaty" players play late at night.

Do "comp" dbd players play for pips?
most of them play for the chase interaction, most of us would be happy with dying on first hook after a long chase.
