I'm not sure if this has ever been officially confirmed but the EU player base is definitely split in 2, at least. There seems to be UK servers and EU servers. But UK players (and a few other regions that I'm not sure of) cannot play with much of the EU player base and vice versa. I'm not sure when this split happend too because it wasn't always like this - perhaps when dedicated servers were introduced?
I and other players that play this game A LOT have noticed this through experience, although... it is probably well known, maybe?
Maybe there's an obvious reason like perhaps latency concerns, but... why is the EU playerbase split in 2?
its not split
also the 2 eu servers are in germany and uk

make gens 80s again
nerf/remove rework prove thyself and bnps/toolboxes in general is what id like to see
-
Pain resonance dms noed no way out corrupt is not exactly the epitome of balance
corrupt is still the best killer perk vs any not awful team
it requiring a perk slot is balanced
-
Game is balanced around survivors being coordinated at this point but the big problem is there's no way to communicate in solo q.
dbd should have a ping system/ingame vc between the survivors

This is ridiculous. I just had four games in a row with players DCing and giving up on hook. All players with paid RE cosmetics from today. In all four games the killer didn’t even camp or tunnel. These players just “gave up” because they were either found first or just downed. This really baffles me as to why you would spend $18 bucks on skins then not even play the game properly. It’s so frustrating that so many players are like this, ruining the game. How are you supposed to get better if you don’t even try?
‘At this point, I’m all for making disconnects having harsher penalties/longer timeouts. And maybe players who let themselves go on hook an egregious amount of times (especially consecutively) can get a different type of penalty. Idk, I’m just over it. I want to keep playing but this ######### is deflating. Even going into this update KNOWING there will be a lot of DC’ing, still couldn’t prepare me for this. This is just a blatant buzzkill- more than usual.
‘Anyone else tired of this b.s? To the point where you just turn the game off and play something else, and hope when you return most of the quitters will be off?

Nobody wants to play on the 8921301320th indoor map of the day, especially with rpd chances shadow increased and from my experience ever since the patch, midwich as well.

pinhead kinda needs impaling wire to function

good

hope you verse bad players, which you probably are. It's really just up to the survivor player skill and not the killer player skill if they escape vs a weaker killer.
-
I don't see why, all it would do is encourage blaming anything besides your own skill for losing.

Yes really helpful.
There is nothing more insightful than telling a rank 15 player going against rank 1 to get good.
Maybe they should blame matchmaking then not imbalance when every individual player in the lobby is better than them.

Is it wrong tho

Playing as Pyramid Head can be really difficult, because they delay in punishment of the damn will not hit anybody unless they just run into it plus with cross play not being fully optimized it just doesn't work ,let me guess you go against good Pyramid Heads all the time well let me tell something, you're probably lying or bad at the game so save me that excuse going against PC player's on console is a nightmare. His power isn't optimal enough to compete with ,the processing speeds of PC just take the delay off please please please please please please please please please please please please there's a sound que ,there's a telegraph, there's a visual que and a cool down one of these thing's has to be removed please.
potd has a travel time, you gotta account for it

get good, 95% of swfs aren't trying or aren't good enough to be "unbeatable"
-
That's absolutely always how bad m1 killers were, map doesn't even matter, vs any good survivors the usual outcome for m1 killers is 1 to 2 hooks at most with 3 man out and leaving 1 to die to noed.
-
It's hard to generally answer that considering all killers besides nurse and spirit are map dependant. Assuming its coal tower, for example, with balanced rng? Then blight.
-
I don't think its solo q that needs a buff. You could give the bad players you see in just about every match every single buff in the world but they're still bad players, so they're gonna underperform and be useless. You want solo q to be bearable? We need an accurate ranking system for that to happen.

Pallets and windows work against her.

You see, its a thing called "gamesense". No i don't think you can know the absolute exact location of a survivor you haven't seen before in the match just due to gamesense, but a good hunch is a good hunch and you should respect it I guess.
-
Because it's a matter of skill difference and perhaps ego. Do you think someone who just installed the game should 2k as killer vs really good survivors or that brand new survivors getting 2 escapes vs a god killer is balanced?

She can phase around them faster then standard 4.6 with no knowledge is she is doing that or not. Since there's no indication she is phasing. Every other strong character you know what they're doing you know when Nurse blinks, Oni rushes, Blight charges, or Huntress winding up. But Spirit you have no clue. Which leads to dull unfair gameplay where a survivor is helpless.
There's a clear indication she's phasing, you would've noticed it by now if you had enough experience in the game. I don't feel like revealing it though just to keep bitter players that aren't willing to get better boiling under their own frustration.

Spirit has no counterplay on virtue of survivors having no idea of what she's doing. I'd rather play a god Oni with Infectious instead of an average Spirit with Stridor and headphones.
how come? Did I miss something? Can she phase through pallets? Can she phase through windows? Do those not work against her? Or do you just not know how to run them so you have concluded she has no counterplay?
-
There's no actual representation of skill in this game so you can rank up easily off of survivors simply being bad.
-
Nothing makes me laugh harder than people in this game destroying average bad pub players and deciding that's a balance issue.
-
So you went against the best spirit in the game and didn't have fun so now it's the characters fault? Just say you don't want to have a challenge or go against anyone who's good.
-
@Aneurysm said:
Well he needed a punishment for missing chainsaws even though he already had one, and rank 20 survivors went down instantly to every chainsaw which they still do
Most importantly Billy was missing the most fun aspects of killer gameplay, i.e. micromanagement and m1ing
I'll assume youre sarcastic with the last sentence.
-
It only is if you're playing weak killers because it's up to the survivor's skill if they win or not, not up to the killer. And most of the maps in this game are survivor sided so you can get annoyed by the map as well if say you're playing nurse on hawkins.
Your best chance is maining a killer thats strong and practicing them a lot.
-
@ALostPuppy said:
As someone else said, Billy was the only killer left except Wraith and Bubba that didn't have a form of micromanaging with his power. I guess their thought process was "well we have to make it look like we did SOMETHING. Quick, make his sound effects more annoying and grating, and add a bar that fills up when you use the chainsaw!"
Is there any issue with that? His power was already punishing if used poorly.
-
@Phasmamain said:
He didn’t have any kind of power bar to manage or set number of his power. Not saying I agree with it but it makes sense
Making this game a cooldown management simulator is extremely boring but it's also something they add more and more of from what i'm seeing on just about every killer. And billy was already getting punished for using his chainsaw poorly by ending up being outpositioned and/or losing distance because you're slower than survivors during chainsaw charging anyways.
-
The only toxic thing in video games is chat harassment. You can't be toxic by playing the game.
-
how?
-
survivors can't take the game hostage if you have good gamesense and know where to find them.
-
why would she be nerfed? pallets and windows work fine against her if you know how to run them.
-
I feel like most people would rather do something over optinal ctrl gameplay in a random match no one cares about.
-
Just become a spirit/nurse/blight main and get good. Theres no "unbeatable" pub swfs.
-
You just triggered the baby killer support group.
-
Bad, stealth is useless versus survs who have some awareness and good positioning and getting survs exposed doesn't matter if you don't have a chase power considering any mediocre player should be able to last at least 1 min in a chase vs an m1 killer.

average chase to down is in the 20-30s range iirc. Stealth killers like wraith are designed pretty much to get a free first hit by catching you out of position, but theyre not that strong once in chase so the second hit usually takes a bit of time. With myc or devour expose active, that downside is taken away. It's a really deadly combo and really doesnt take me cost/skill/risk to pull off in my experience.
I was using myc and devour with speed movement addons. I didnt even have to go and kick gens unless the survivors decided to leave the people on the hook. Even with the myc/devour distance, you can get to hook extremely fast. There wasnt much the survivors could do. I was really hoping this build would not get much attention cause I havent found and good counter playstyles to it other than leaving my teammates on hook.
The survs can simply not position poorly and have some awareness/gamesense so they aren't caught in a deadzone. It's dbd so a lot of players are bad, just because some randoms in the average match die to it, it doesn't mean there isn't anything that can be done about it.
-
Does it aim for the user? No? Then why would it be cheating?
-
you can just...be good at chases? Its just up to the survivor's skill if they last in a chase a long time versus an m1 killer in chase as long as they have any sort of tiles available. 60s vs a wraith is easily doable if youre at least half decent.

if you think Spirit's "mind game" is a 50/50 then you are not playing Spirit that well my friend
I have like 3 matches of spirit ever played. I was talking from a survivor perspective.
-
get good and use pallets, if you lose 50/50s so often thats on you

Nurse is a relic of the past and was made back when BNP’s, Infinites and Instaheals were all very powerful. She’s the only killer who can consistently beat the best survivors and doesn’t really have any weaknesses
Yes I hate her how could you tell?
old 7 blink nurse=current nurse? ok.

install reshade and find settings you like the looks of in a kyf with a friend
dowsey has a guide on this iirc.

your name is accurate.
The ds nerf was good but the way most ppl on forums turned it into "yada yada surv player bad" is cringe.
-
take 3 out and go next, easy match, killer lost. What more do you want? If killer gets more than 1 kill by purely tunneling the same surv for 3 hooks then its a git gud issue, everyone with at least more than 300h to rub together should be able to 5 gen run killers with 3 hook states.

amazing picture quality

Sure we complained when they reworked ruin and they destroyed undying but if you think about it. No perk killer has ever had was even close to the power of DS.
youre either overestimating ds or underestimating old undying and/or corrupt intervention. CI is easily the 2nd strongest perk in the game behind dead hard.
