Imo, Blood Warden and Haywire is not the pairing people should fear, but rather Remember Me and Haywire.
If you have a killer that can travel from gate to gate fast with this combo, the endgame will be lengthy at best and a slow stomp at worst.
I didn't even think about Remember Me 😫 does Haywire only revert back down to 50% progress or all the way back to zero? Sole Survivor meta incoming lol

Under the beta tab in Options you'll find a FOV adjustment setting
-
AI doesn't have access to that data. It's information is based on what it gathers from internet users, not from the game itself.
-
The fact that they mentioned him means no license deal was made. They'd have kept it quiet otherwise. So I wouldn't worry about it.
-
As a solo player, I'm just gonna "open the gates and leave" when this perk is in play lol can't coordinate around it, and it'll probably be used with Blood Warden. I'll leave the endgame shenanigans to swf

I still use this perk frequently to this day, as being able to get team mates healed super fast and back into the match is so strong. If you know you know but I think this perk is still way under appreciated
Yeah it always gets my vote for best survivor perk. I chuck it on often too

Then I do not know in which dimension you are currently living, but I wish I would live there too… Since the new quest system came out, I played between 1 and 5-6 games every day and only managed to finish the rank 80 yesterday and only a few milestone quests are completed. Mostly playing survivor so that could explain (killer quests are way easier than survivor ones)
Am I bad? Probably. Does that invalidate my point? No, because knowing I am not a beginner on the game, I do not even want to know how true beginners feel when they arrive…
The milestone quests are really just basic stuff that you complete as you play a game. Nothing to do with being bad, I guess the difference between you and I is simply that I do more in a match than you (and I'm not saying that as an insult, it would simply explain why I've completed more in less games than you have). We are only halfway through the Rift challenges (we are in week 6 and there are 12 weeks total) so if you're at tier 80 then you'll be finished with plenty of time to spare.

We'll Make It is a good one

Completely sharing your point of view.

And also your point of view.
The old tome system was "fine" because it was like "missed one ? Check the compendium, it is waiting for you" (not talking about cosmetics of course)
Now the only quests we have are the rift ones, and that the rift is made to be temporary, I feel obligated to play every day because I would feel like I am missing something elseway.
Talking about cosmetics, every character already has several things in the shop. Why not :
- Add them as soon as they appear, buyable with auric cells only
- Then after a timespan defined by…something, give a price with iridescent shards
Of course, BHVR would lose money. But I do not think that gaining money by holding hostage the playerbase and playing with their anxiety is a very sane idea……
Fwiw you don't need to play every day. I'm at tier 80 and I've only played two days over the past week, and missed many days in the weeks before. The milestone quests (I do both killer and survivor) helped significantly. I've missed many many dailies.
-
Azarov is surprising. I usually only see that offering from Blights
-
Thanks for sharing! Some good info there
-
I have lobby music turned off but everything else I just mute my TV lol
-
Not "soul crushing" but I find Deathslinger really boring. Everything about him from his greasy looks, his generally dull looking cosmetics, his uninspired terror radius, his ugly laugh, etc. I find going against him to be really low energy. I apologise to Caleb mains ☮️
-
I'll play for a couple days then probably take a break purely because every survivor game will be against Springtrap and every killer game will have crazy long queues. I know they said there will be a separate queue for the new map so that might help keep normal queue times down.
-
I will eventually but am in no rush
-
Honestly, in my games people letting go on hook has completely dropped. I can't remember the last time I saw someone do it.
-
Yeah, alot of us were very disappointed at that news

Its funny this is never said to survivors.
Because it's not as relevant to survivors. Even Peanits (developer) said that strats like tunnelling can increase a killers MMR quickly and land them in a bracket where they feel they can't compete unless they keep tunnelling. I'm not sure of what strategies survivors can employ to increase their MMR at that rate. OPs post is even about survivors at high MMR being too strong, which just proves my point. I don't see any killers complaining about low skill survivors in high MMR brackets. Because it doesn't happen to the extent you see it happen with killers.

I really dislike how harsh the new anti go next system is going to be. Survivors unable to keep their cool for over 20 miserable games without itching to hit that DC button are going to be racking up huge penalties that'll never go away. From what I gather, it won't even be possible to take a break from the game to reduce the penalty, which is a terrible decision in my opinion.
DBD can be a very frustrating game. More so than any other multiplayer game I've ever played. I'm sure plenty of forum members would argue these impulsive players should just go play something else. I think they'll get their wish and they probably will.
Every Survivor game I had today was an absolute disaster from start to finish. And even though I got absolutely destroyed in all but one of my Killer games, I still had a more enjoyable time playing. With every update, I feel more and more like abandoning the Survivor role entirely. Perhaps it just isn't for me anymore.
That was me yesterday morning. Played 3 survivor games and they were so bad I switched to killer for the rest of the morning. Even with the longer queue times it was a much better experience.
-
I imagine they'll eventually find themselves in an MMR bracket better suited for them, especially with the upcoming SBMM improvements.

They were given out at a time when prestiging meant giving up all your items, add ons, and offerings. When this changed in update 6.1, folks that had sacrificed all their stuff previously to get to P3 were given the portraits.
-
Solo queue team mates can be terrible but low MMR is its own special kind of hell lol
-
Yeah he's cheating. He speeds up slightly at various points, even just as you down him which leaves a longer than normal gap between blood pools.
-
Are you play in Chaos Shuffle or normal mode? It's possible matchmaking is turned off for CS but normal mode should be business as usual
-
Level 60- something, even though I haven't played all week
-
They'll claim every survivor is bad at the game until they lose. Then suddenly every survivor is part of Seal Team 6

I've gotten close maybe twice, with Surge and Pop together on Gideon. The multiple floors are likely why. I think I was doing some weird Doc challenge or something. I usually just run chase & info stuff mostly.
I have heard of people coming close with Surge, especially when using a secondary gen regression perk. Though if they're hitting the limit with those perks they'd be well on their way to winning anyway so it probably isn't an issue lol I only use Overcharge currently and had no issues
-
The Abandon feature was implemented because of players who would slug the survivors and then just let them bleed out (often while humping their bodies). There was nothing survivors could do to speed this up besides DCing and copping a penalty. In the situation you are mentioning, the killer has an option to speed this up - walk up to them.
-
Could they get away with something like this? Apparently the depiction of a jorogumo differs, and honestly this pic kind of reminds me of the MCU's Spider-Man in the Iron Spider suit lol I'm not arachnophobic though so not sure how it would be perceived
-
@TimberGoingDown said:
I still don't know why arachnophobia is the only phobia that pretty much every game dev caters to.
Because it costs them players. That's the simple answer. The recent popularity of arachnophobia mode (option to change the appearance of spiders in a game) indicates that.
-
It was implemented about a year ago. I've never personally hit the limit, haven't even come close. If this is an ongoing problem then you might need to reassess your gameplay and strategies.
-
Honestly it wouldn't surprise me if they did do this
-
It requires someone taking a hit for their team mate, which isn't overly common among solo players (who make up the bulk of the playerbase). So yeah, it's unlikely to have a high pick rate.
-
Yup they have to be done in CS mode
-
I'm assuming they've looked at other games that have implemented an arachnophobia mode in recent years to keep players and they want to avoid all that
-

So when 5 gens pop and a killer has 0 hooks, can we abandoned penalty free as the games over?
The devs reasoning is that the killer can continue to progress the game - including opening the gates and chase the survivors out. This abandon feature is really thanks to the players who would slug survivors and then hump their bodies until they bled out. So now the survivors can just opt to move on rather than sit through that.
-
They can only abandon if every survivor is down, in which case the game is over. The feature just allows people to get to their next game quicker.
-
I've been using Light-footed lately and it definitely confuses alot of killers, particularly around tall walls. I do wish they'd drop the vault condition completely but the buff it's getting soon will help.

We can hide it pretty easily.
I mean the option to remove it completely. Would help the self-aware folks who struggle to manage their emotions.

Hackers. That one has been around for awhile.

The little easter eggs in the Midwich map! Mainly the locker jumpscare in the locker room, and the fact that you must complete the music room and the laboratory's gens so that the clock tower's chest becomes available in the endgame.
I remember trying to scare my hubby with the locker jumpscare but nothing happened. I didn't realize that sometimes the lockers change position and so I ended up scaring myself when I went to leave the room and the corpse fell out on the other side
-
I'd love this
-
Being a console player, I can honestly say you don't even need a chat box. BHVR should give PC folks the option to just remove it.

@LockerLurk said:
Frankly you should start to accrue crows after 20-30 seconds instead, and also unhooking should definitely remove all your crows. There's no reason unhooking shouldn't remove crows and it feels a bit harsh to put Survs on such a strict time limit especially for new players. I worry this is too quick for those players.
You know how stressful it can feel to see gens pop quickly as Killer? Now Survs get to feel that stress because crows! Woooooo crows! What about perks that need you to sit in a locker for a second like Flashbang, or stay still for a second like Still Sight, or that force you to stand in place while using them like Bardic Inspiration? What about techniques such as using checkspots that some more experience players do, they are punished for doing them too much now and what, being good at the game? Why?
Yeah I'm one of those folks who is always on here annoyed about survivors who don't do anything, but from what I've seen from people playing on the PTB, the crows are currently way too harsh. Imagine running around trying to find Ruin, for example, and you're just getting crows. I actually wouldn't mind if it kicked in x amount of minutes into a game because I find most survivors are engaged at the start of a match, it's late match that they tend to give up.
-
They leave when they die, they don't tend to hang around.
-
Well, I play Wraith. No interest in Dracula. I also play Myers and Chucky, no interest in Nurse or Blight. There is something in this game for everyone, not just those who want to 4k every single game. There's probably only two killers I don't see at all these days - Trickster and Twins - but I actually see alot of variety fortunately when I play survivor. The only exception is around new releases when I'll see the new killer for a few weeks until that settles too.
I'll also add that the recent stats released by the devs show that Wraith is the 4th most picked killer in mid-MMR. Huntress is the 1st, along with Blight, Wesker, and Legion. For high MMR, yes, Blight (1st) and Nurse (5th) were in there but so was Huntress, Wesker, and Freddy.

So we're back to "haste stacking is bad" again? That was fast.
I seem to recall the devs specifically stating they were targeting haste stacking and killers had a meltdown and demanded they not go through with that. (Which the devs did backtrack and pull the plug on that change.)
I knew that was gonna happen. Haste stacking shouldn't be a thing imo and I thought killer mains would be happy to see it gone but apparently not. I knew the complaints about survivors haste stacking would continue though. Can't have your cake and eat it too.
-
Sounds like that person's anti-tunnel perks are doing their job
-
For my kids it seems to be the lore. My eldest (10) seems to enjoy the books just as much (or even more) than the games. She and I watched a streamer playing the PTB the other day and she gave me the entire lore rundown while we watched. I think kids also find the quirky and fun looking characters appealing too. I saw the same thing with my youngest and Poppy Playtime.
