Yes. Let's make an awful, almost useless, perk even worse. Good idea 👏
the aura reading is really nice. If someone stuns you with blast mine you'll be able to find that survivor!!!

Just yesterday I needed to hurry up and finish the game (Dinner ready) last 2 survivors both on death hook and I hooked the Kate to end it quickly.....Mikaela wanted to do a flashlight show at the hatch till the timer went out....So my way is better.
that's understandable.

I slug for the 4k most of the time to flush out the 4th survivor who is hiding so I can let the one NOT hiding escape. Cost me a few extra minutes sometimes but I get more points and my MMR don't climb as much as it would have (I let them walk out gate not hatch). If a survivor ends up bleeding out it was because they crawled to some corner to hide.
I don't even like to slug for the 4k because it can be boring. if the survivor get hatch it's whatever I still got my 3k.

This is why you last second switch and "outplay" the killer I guess.
2 survivors last second switched but I already had lightborn equipped. They wanted to blind me so much lol.

There was no counterplay to Deathslinger. Boon totems are very easily snuffed because they are so loud. Cenobite was too oppressive and was winning too much.
Deathslinger did have counterplay.

We have flashbangs.

You can just go with a slowdown build. I run STBFL, Ruin, Undying and pop. Been trying blood favor as well. Replacing undying.
I’ve been using blood favor on Nemesis, and this perk is pretty sweet. Definitely will have to get it on Trickster.

@OhAnotherKai said:
I love to run thrilling tremors, agitation, pop goes the weasel and the last perk can be whatever I normally use plaything or iron maiden.
The idea of this build is that as soon as I get a down and pick up the survivor I use thrilling tremors to know where to go next, agitation to get to hooks faster and in combination with thrilling get close to the gen that I want to pressure (aka the ones that are being worked on), pop goes the weasel for consistent gen regression.
Plaything may sound weird since trickster has a lullaby but tbh it is not as noticeable as the huntress' and in my experience survivors still get caught off guard by the lack of a terror radius.
And iron maiden makes reloads go brrrrr.
The good sides of the build are that it gives you the ability to transfer survivor to survivor nicely. All the perks reward you for downing the survivor and thus (for me at least) wins feel nicely earned.
The bad sides thrilling tremors whilst is not distance dependent has a cool down of 60 seconds on its tier 3 whereas bbq whilst it can't show survivors that are either 40m close to the hooking or survivors in lockers, it has no cool down and gives extra points. And none of the perks will work unless you get downs save iron maiden.
Plaything sounds decent on him.

Hasnt really disappointed yet
Think i’d rather use no way out than BW but thanks for the idea.

Hopefully it means there's more focus put into improving the performance in the meantime. <3
What was the news?

Killer voices are definitely louder. They do. This is very true. The boons getting nerfed hard from PTB and not much was said.
The boon totems weren’t even nerfed hard though. All they did was reduce the range by a few meters and made them not stack. The stacking part was WAY broken.

FYI - if all you get out of a boon is one heal, I agree with you. If you get your heal, and at least one other survivor also gets a heal, you've had a net benefit to time costs on the survivor side. 2+ heals is where CoH becomes valuable, not the first one.
I’m just saying I prefer using perks I can use the whole match.
-
Yeah they’re strong but I don’t use them because I can’t waste time blessing totems and then healing.

I was kind of hoping performance may feel better now that the event has finished and freezing pumpkins are gone, but guessing from the comments not lol :')
I'll keep an eye out for any issues that could be totem related
Yeah it’s not gotten much better lol.

His old self was broken in the worst way. He was the actual worst killer in the game, because his add-ons didn't work or were detrimental, and his chainsaw sweep acceleration was bugged for years. You had to be sniffing the survivor's hair when you started revving to actually hit them unless you ran PWYF, and even then that extended Bubba's usable range only maybe 2 meters at 3 stacks. He was effectively nothing but an M1 because he just didn't work at all.
The ONLY reason people bought him was for BBQ, and for facecamping memes. He was that bad.
I only bought him for BBQ, then I started playing him and I was obsessed.

I had that with kicking pumpkins on maps that increased performance issues like Ormond. I'd get a little freeze before I would get prompt to kick. I wonder if maybe because pumpkins and totems spawn in the same spots if that was causing the freeze for the prompt.
Could be? At least the event is over I guess.

I say make DS basekit and work after both unhooks. I don't really wanna talk too much about it in this thread because I've already mentioned it in another. I feel like this could help a lot with tunneling.
oh that's right I forget you already mentioned that. sorry!

She's gonna get hit with the nerf hammer... 😉
I think the game is actually pretty balanced right now. The only things that really need a lot of love is SoloQ and some fixes for all the camping and tunneling. All will be good after that.
how do you stop tunneling though?

What? Killer mains always say they are survivor mains. Survivor mains have it very rough, going in expected to lose now.
Can I ask what builds you run on survivor?

It isn't a bad idea to do that if only one or two people are doing boons. Though, I have grown attached to my bone rubbing so I like to be able to move my boons around so I am kinda glad most people seem allergic to bones.
As for buffing solo Q, I mean anything that uplifts us solo will still be a net gain to dedicated SWFs. Short of in-game comms there isn't a lot that could be done to active shrink the gap rather than just at best maintain it.
as much as I want too try to bring solo to SWF level, wouldn't certain killers need buffing???

solo teammates

I know this is confirmation bias at play, but I've not encountered many survivors that really want to do bones to begin with and even less now that boons are a thing. Majority of my time playing survivor is spent in solo Q and I even get people asking in lobbies if someone's running boons.
I still do totems if my solo teammates are running boon perks.

Please do not generalize every survivor. I'm not like this and I don't want Spirt gutted.
Also waving it off as them just wanting spirit gutted seems a bit harsh. I still think some survivors are making legitimate complaints
see that's the problem I have is that killers will get nerfed, but it's never enough to some survivors.

Bubba is my favorite killer. Love going against him too!!

Factually false. It has been proven that you gain less distance with Sb compared to overcome
I'll have to watch videos of overcome cause I haven't seen it be used. I was judging based off of it's description.

Alright.
See if you can note if any status effects pop up. We already know there's issues surrounding them.
If not, we can add button prompts to the list of triggers.
when I play today I'll keep a close eye on the undying part.

That's very odd.
Dull or Hex?
Also, do you have any videos?
I don't have videos, and I wanna say it's both but it was a dull totem for sure.
-
Now I'm getting freezes when the "cleanse totem" prompt comes up. It's not happening with the heal and repair gens prompt though.

@GannTM said:
Completely rework the perk. It’s not healthy for the game in what it promotes.
how would you rework it just out of curiosity?

I totally agree.

@BabuDweet said:
It's working as intended now and all of a sudden there's more outrage about it.
So survivors aren't laying on the ground exhausted like 80% of the time and now killers are just outraged.
'How dare you make a perk work as intended'
I'm not denying it's stronger, but I also don't care. This is coming from someone who loves playing both sides.
But it still eats a killer power.
-
Sprint Burst is better.

Everything is a question of balance.
VHS looks way more balanced than DbD.
Sure in DbD survivors haven't got weapons to fight the killer but the killer is totally powerless and cannot even defend gens properly.
I wish they'd release that game on console. I would probably try it out.
-
sometimes there are situations where people really have to let go.
-
@Pulsar said:
Idk.
Pinhead got nerfed because of Solo Q, most likely. Not like anyone was playing him tho.
I have zero faith in BHVR anymore and I'm mostly just here to try to get Console players the ######### they were promised and then to watch the game die.
I’ve been playing against a lot of Pinheads though. I’m sure it’s different for everyone but yeah he seems popular right now I guess.

@kaeru said:
I was playing Clown on Midwich and survivors DC after few chases. And in postgame chat they blamed matchmaking for putting them against red grade killer. I can't even say they were bad. They did some gens and their looping was pretty average. I consider myself as average killer especially as Clown on Midwich. If they stay it still would be a fair match.
Majority of players still think that grades are used for matchmaking.
Or the survivors are probably new to this MMR.
-
It’s matching you up against survivors based off your MMR with your killer. Not like the old rank system.

Stupidity doesn't excuse their power when used correctly.
And I don’t see this new anti slug perk getting used a lot. I already don’t see UB often.
-
I’ve had more problems with boon totems on the survivor side. My teammates just endlessly bless totems, very costly.
