  • I just deal with survivors no matter how they play. if they wanna teabag, click their flashlights I just brush it off. I do love the sound of clicking flashlights though lol.

  • stepping into hags traps.

  • Last night I tunneled someone because they made the last second key switch which kinda ticked me off. If someone brings a key into a lobby i'll put on franklins.

  • bad, me and my friends are purple and red rank survivors, we went against yellow and green ranks. This legion was a rank 20 and he didn't even get one hook I felt so bad. Also the survivor quene times seem much longer than before.

  • No because killers will camp and tunnel a lot more.

  • Had a match last night where gens were popping so fast that I thought maybe I was going against a swf who were running prove thyself. But they weren’t and I was shocked.

I’m sure it’s frustrating to go against, I would suggest running thana but that perk dosen’t help much. Maybe try corrupt and ruin idk.

  • No and i'm just gonna leave it that.

DBD leaks posted a while ago that DBD renewed Haloween license, so maybe we can hope for a Haddonfield rework. Like a good rework. Like, nuke all buildings to the ground and burn all the great fences of haddonfield.

the fences are a pain in the butt.

Ah, so you want all the advantages while giving the killer 0 chance to counter it. That's pretty pathetic. But I don't expect much from last second switcher.

I don't do it to be toxic it's just the only way i'm gonna counter them. Unless if maybe I drop the key somewhere but it's hard for me to trust that my teammates are gonna leave it on the ground.

  • @Xzan said:

I use Iri hatchets if there is a key in the Lobby. If they want a fast game, they can have it.

This is why I slap on the key with 6 seconds to go in the lobby so killers can't equip their franklins, moris, and lri hatchets.

  • You know there are actually really good killers who run NOED. And it's actually survivors fault for not doing totems and mainly focusing on gens. But i'm sure you've probably heard this several times.

  • Deception and diversion are both great perks to distract killers.

  • i’m sorry that you have been experiencing this bullying. I think it’s very wrong to teabag especially when you don’t even know this person you’re playing against. And like you mentioned, it sucks when you’re not playing scummy like those things you described.

whenever I go against a team that just teabags, clicks their flashlights at me I try to suck it up but it can get annoying and exhausting. It’s only a game we need to just try to have fun on both sides.

  • don’t worry you just need to wait one more week. 😊

I really dislike Swamp, Red Dawg for overall darkness. I can't see anything on those maps (i'm colorblind)

As general layout issues go, I'm not a fan of Hawkins and Midwich. I get turned around so easily on both of those maps and I hate the stairs are always out of the way and some gens are nearly impossible to defend

One of the things that are frustrating as survivor on Midwich and Gideon, Is when someone is hooked on the second floor and you just can’t even find the stairs. Same when the exit gates are opened.

  • Killer- BBQ, discordance, noed, bloodwarden

survivor- WGLF, iron will, dead hard, plunders

  • Also sorry about the polls I don’t know how to add them??

  • @Seraphor said:

80% of the time, if you're close enough for Small Game to go off, you'll probably find the totem without it.

Detectives Hunch tells you where to look in the first place.

    That’s so frustrating

If you play like this toxic player, why are you even playing the game?

Everyone plays differently. Do I hate being camped?? Yeah it sucks but it’s a strategy you just have to deal with it.

I think the idea of multiple survivors escaping by hatch is fine, it's the implementation that's the problem.

Hatch is completely BS in the way that it is opened, in order for that aspect to be balanced it needs to take time, alert the killer in a fair way, and not save progress so you can't set it up beforehand.

With those implemented instant escapes won't be a thing and the killer can stop hatch from being opened if they are near enough to be alerted. It would add interaction with the killer which is what opening hatch needs to be balanced.

I don’t think killers should be notified that a hatch is being opened, they already get enough free information. You may as well alert them if an exit gate is being opened.

  • KFC all the way.

Haddonfield, Haddonfield and did I mention Haddonfield. Legit tho this map should be disabled its such a garbage piece of crap. One of the only maps where I can generate bloodlust at an accelerated rate both in and out of the game. Midwich sucks as well but at least both the killer and survivor is suffering in haddonfield its just fences and mindlessly looping buildings because there is no threat of being caught unless you royally botch it.

the other night I had a pig match on haddonfield and I didn’t get my first down until there was one gen to be repaired.

  • i know what you mean lol. Self care chews up a lot of time especially through sloppy that’s about almost the same amount of time it takes to complete a gen.

And then there’s those survivors who will self care with legion oh my god that’s annoying.

It's so annoying as killer when you hear a gen being worked on but the labyrinth of the map they finish the gen before you get to them most of the time.

    YES

  • @IWasLeft2Die said:

The Game map is the most boring and frustrating as killer and just boring as survivor.

Makes me think in playing Pokémon and I'm in Pallet Town.

It’s so difficult to find gens in that map lol.

  • @Zayn said:

Haddonfield, Cowshed, Meat Plant and Swamp since I'm a Blight main.

What about Lery’s? That seems like a terrible map for Blight.

  • No. I mean i’ll buy the new survivor but I like to play different characters and not just one all the time.

  • It’s not your fault if your opponents chose to ignore the totems. If I see a totem i’m gonna cleanse it just to decrease the chance of NOED appearing in the endgame.

if there’s a hex perk like ruin or devour, i’m gonna go hunting for the totem.

This is to both you and the OP: this change will not happen.

The reason? The achievement "Where Did They Go?!?", which requires that all four Survivors make it out through the Hatch in a trial. I, personally, already have this achievement from a lucky break in one game. According to various achievement tracking places anywhere between 5.3 and 8.9 percent of people who play the game have this achievement, with Steam itself saying 6.6%. I do not expect them to make a change that makes it so this achievement will require three Keys.

Right now the Hatch has some really funky math to it: "Does ((Number of survivors alive + 1) = (number of repaired generators)? If so spawn closed Hatch". So if four Survivors are still alive it takes five gens, if three are alive four gens and so on till you get to only one alive which just ignores the math and spawns an open Hatch.

The idea I like best and the one that I think is most likely to happen is that Keys themselves won't be changed but how the Hatch spawns will be. Instead of the above math there are two conditions that will spawn the Hatch: "Five generators repaired OR only one Survivor left alive in the trial". This will prevent three or two people from getting out via the Hatch while ignoring their Primary Win Condition: the generators.

If you are the sort of Killer who cares about 4ks then having all four Survivors still alive when they repair the last gen such a change won't really be much different than it already is, excluding N.O.E.D. cases and maybe a few other not so common Perk and Power combos. But if you get to the point where you've got four people alive and all five gens are done you've basically already lost anyways so them getting out via Hatch or Exit Gate is a moot point.

The main problem with Keys and the Hatch as it is now is that it allows two or three Survivors to get out while they ignore the last gen, making any work you put into a stable three-gen useless and any sort of late game planning worthless. By forcing them to finish five gens if they want to use that Key it means you can actually plan ahead for it and have viable counter play against the Key without having to run Franklin's.

To be thorough the idea I like second best is that you can't open the Hatch instantly with a Key, but have to take a few seconds to open it. The same time as with a chest, with no Perks buffing this time. Time spent unlocking the Hatch stays added to the total just like a chest if interrupted no matter what Survivor comes back to it later or what Key they use.

The third idea I like the least is that you can't find Keys inside of chest in the Trial. I think Survivors should have the chance of finding one, but maybe work the numbers a bit so they are less common than they already are so dedicated Looter Builds aren't pulling them so much.

I disagree with the chest part because keys are “items”. I’ve been running plunders more because it gives me a greater chance of finding a key. And I can have a backup plan if my team isn’t gonna reach the endgame.

  • I think there should be a 5 second opening hatch animation so that the hatch can’t be opened while in a chase.

And once the hatch is closed it can’t be opened for another 30 seconds.

  • i like Demo, myers, and pyramid head’s chase music. It’d be kinda cool if all killers had their own chase music.

  • @TAG said:

Buffed a little bit, ideally. Obviously they were way too strong before, but now they are borderline worthless.

They’re not worthless you just have to put a little more effort into earning your kills.

  • Just leave the perk the way it is. I used to be very against NOED but i’m okay with it now, it makes the endgame more interesting.

  • I don’t mind offerings no matter which role I play. Only time when I ever burn one is if my last 3 matches have been in the same map.

  • Myers or ghost face. I'll have those matches where i'm repairing a gen and they sneak up and grab me off the gen, it makes me jump out of my chair haha.😂

  • I wish I had known you could drop pallets on killers, lol I would drop one randomly and not know the purpose of them.

legion. isn't even good and forces you to constantly heal. very tiresome and boring

Was gonna say the same thing.

  • @th3 said:

Yes you get 2500 objective points for unlocking the hatch with a key. You get 2500 objective points for escaping as well. As well as the normal 5000 survival points.

    thanks! ☺️

  • I've had plenty of matches like that where survivors just gave up early in the game. I understand going against killers like spirit, freddy or maybe deathslinger can be frustrating. But for me I just deal with it and do the best I can. you're gonna have those good and bad games.

I'm not ever gonna screw my teammates over that way because that ain't me I know better.

  • @some_guy1 said:

you have to aim the center of your camera to reveal him, not just have your character stare at him

I've done both of those and I still got exposed.

Being super honest, I don't usually care if they're bringing keys. When I started playing dbd I brought them all the time, because I love the ring add on and being able to see the obsession's aura, besides not needing to run DS because of it. But I've learned quickly that keys are taboo's and stop bringing them out to avoid stress.

So unless I have a challeng to kill x amount of survivors or something like that, I let it go, because it can be fun. But if someone does a last second swap, I just disconnect during the offering screen. I think that's just plain disrespectful.

survivors don't swap to keys last second to be "disrespectful' they do it to avoid franklins.

These last days, I've got a lot of time Autohaven and Backwater Swamp.

And one day, it was like: Auto, Swamp, Swamp again, Auto, another Map, Swamp...

    I felt cursed. 😭

LOL! I was playing with my friend and she said she was getting sus of playing on the same map.

  • Look I've had plenty of matches like that to where gens were flying left and right. But I just try to suck it up and get as many BP's as I can. I do worry that gens are go faster with this new perk coming in the next update.
