    You cant be be wrong like that without proof, please link your claim because they said fairly recently that Nurse is completely fine and they have no plans to do anything to her.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/440638#Comment_440638

    You do know I main Nurse on console, right?

    No offense but I don't really care for whatever changes anyone invested in console Nurse wants, that's not real Nurse. Unsurprisingly, your suggestion would make her way less fun to play, gets rid of the uniqueness of needing your power to catch people and makes her more of a bog standard killer.

    But she would be better on console. Gets the noggin jogging is all I'm saying.

    @PeepingPeacock

    He said, "At this time" So they probably changed their mind a while ago.

    I doubt they'd go your way. If anything, her add-ons needs a massive revisit.

    No, not in the slightest. You can still use her blinks to great effects, but the only difference is you have a cool-down time on them. Therefore, good Nurses would injure a survivor and then, blink to them to instantly down them. Worst case scenario: 2 blinks would set you back 20 seconds before you could blink again and down them. 20 seconds isn't that bad for a chase in my opinion, compared to other killer's.

    Compared to the current Nurse, your rework is a pure downgrade. The Nurse is punished not only for failing her blink but then she suffers from a long period of nothing while being a 110% killer? Exciting.

    you didn't even read the add-ons because some of them are extremely good, any feedback on them?

    Most of them are pretty boring. I have nothing else to say.

    @se05239

    Yes, it might be a downgrade, but she will still be a strong killer. Perhaps I went just a little overkill with the cool-down time, so I'll just decrease it to 10 seconds.

    Also, you do know that I don't want this to happen? Right? I'm suggesting this just incase the developers decide to change her, but from what @PeepingPeacock said, they aren't so that's cool! :)

    You're welcome.

    But in all honesty. Nurse is the only killer in the game that scales with the player playing her, in contrast to the other killers that must react on what the survivors are doing.

    Your "rework" would turn her into just anther gimmicky killer that's punished for using their power.

    I know that you're probably frustrated beyond imagination for getting owned by a Nurse in this one match you probably had before posting this "rework" but think of it this way, the Nurse you faced EARNED it. Nurse is not an easy killer to pick up and most Nurse players get bullied constantly.. UNTIL IT CLICKS and from there, it's journey to outplaying survivors they find and thinking ahead of what the survivors are doing.

    I'll say it again, please don't murder the most unique killer of DbD.

    @se05239

    Alright, I'll just clear some things up.

    I know that you're probably frustrated beyond imagination for getting owned by a Nurse in this one match you probably had before posting this "rework"

    Wrong, I didn't get owned by a Nurse before making this thread and in fact, rarely anyone plays Nurse in console sooooo idk why you would say that. Also, I understand that she deserves her kills due to her skill. However, the developers said she's going to get reworked one way or another, so therefore, I suggested this to the developers. Perhaps my version is wayyyy better than their version so if they decide to take my ideas (yes, they have my permission to) then I basically saved her.

  • @Poweas said:

    @NMCKE yeah I do pretty much all of that. Except I kill the last guy and only give hatch if they deserve it.

    Obviously, as Spirit I follow completely different rules. I shamelessly tunnel, camp if exit gates are powered (although it's rare for me to get to gates) or I camp if I saw someone and try to find them and I rarely give hatch/exit gate.

    Idk, I'm rusty as Nurse now, if I went into a game rn, I'd get curbstomped.

    @Poweas

    That's all cool, sometimes you have to tunnel or camp. No worries, just play by your rules! :)

    @NMCKE tbh,, Nurse doesn't require perk slots. She's THAT strong. I used to run Deerstalker, A Nurses calling (my only serious perk), Bitter murmur and Shadowborn. You can kind of meme around with the perks.

    I still 4k'd effortlessly at rank 1 because of her insane pressure and strength.

    @Poweas

    She doesn't need perks, you're right. In fact, when I was learning Nurse, I didn't use any add-ons or perks to help me learn her (except I would occasionally use Fragile Wheeze or Metal Spoon + Dull Bracelet). I love Nurse because she let's me give survivors what they want while I can have fun. It's a win-win. :)

    I don't tunnel because she's really strong (and if I accidentally do, I'll just slug them so I have some momentum).

    I don't camp because she is strong enough to give every survivor their 3 hook states (but if I see a survivor near the hook, I'm not just going to give the unhook to them. They need to respect my presence or else your not going to be unhooking anyone).

    Finally, I don't know if it's just me, but I will always give the last survivor either the exit gates/hatch because I love giving mercy to the survivors for some reason! 🙂

    Wait, here it is! Scroll to the very top of the page and it should say, can you run it?

    Hello! If you have any technical difficulties while running Dead by Daylight, please run through the following fixes. First, can you actually run it?

    Sorry, I'm not a PC player but this should be the thing that you're looking for! :)

  • "Survivors feel miserable and hopeless... death is in the next door." Effect:

    Hopeless should be a status effect that makes you mori'able.

  • I'm not a PC player, but I do think this is important for system requirements.

    You need to hire this man or something because this is what should have been in the game since day 1 and if you guys cant see how broken the pip system has gotten than you arent playing the game for yourselves. I have 1600 hours and have always been in the top tier of players and recently is the only time ive not been able to hit rank 1, now this is also largely due to the insane number of disconnects, i mean im talkin 1-3 a game without question. you need to revert the system that makes it so you dont depip on dc its ruining the game fast and hard.

    @Baltoz

    Easy there, he's sending the feedback to the developer team. Furthermore, he's not an actual developer, he's just a community manager (a cool one too).

  • @PolarBear said:

    @Peanits If you're hooked and a killer is camping you, you should receive chaser points as you're essentially wasting the killers time just like you would be in a chase.

    @PolarBear

    Honestly, it only makes sense in certain scenarios.

    If you're doing Lightbringer actions while someone is being chased, you should get a share of what that chased survivor is getting. After all, you are supporting the chased survivor because they cannot escape if you don't do generators! :)

  • @Poweas said:

    Shadowborn is really good. Like ridiculously good on Nurse.

    @Poweas

    Yes, it's great on her but I try not to use it because it saves me a perk slot.

  • @Orti said:

    I like the idea but I think the numbers should be a bit lower to not make it to easy to rank up again, more like 25% or 33%

    @Orti

    Sounds fair, edited OP.

  • @Peanits said:

    There's a couple major issues with that:

    1. If it's optional, not everyone's going to use it. I can safely say that I wouldn't. I turn voice chat off in just about every game that uses it.Typically my experience with public voice chat is negative. Someone leaves their mic on with a ton of background noise, someone talks way too much, and the second things go south, people turn on each other and start pointing fingers. If there's a chance your teammates aren't going to hear you, you've already lost the benefit of adding voice chat in the first place.
    2. If it's mandatory, you'd be forced to listen to other people's background noise and insults when they die. That's a nope from me, I wouldn't want to play a game like that.
    3. It kills the mood. Imagine you're a new player that's still scared of the killer and immersed in the corner hoping they don't see you. Just as Michael Myers sees you, X Gon Give It To Ya start's blaring over someone microphone.
    4. People might not even speak your language. Particularly in Europe where's a bunch of different languages right next door, you're not guaranteed to be able to talk to people anyway.

    I feel like there's much better ways to convey the same information through the UI, whether that's an indicator that tells the others you're being chased, a totem counter, or some other QOL changes. A totem counter won't blame me when someone else dies, for example.

    @Peanits

    I can imagine this happening in a game.

    I like this idea, thumbs up from me.

    I think the other sides skill should not be a factor in your pip.

    If the killer can't catch anyone why should all the survivors not pip? Surely in terms of matchmaking they should be moved away from that player.

    It works on both sides as well as a killer doing their job quickly due to lack of survivor skill should really pip if not double pip to be moved out that rank area.

    @twistedmonkey

    Yeah, the survivor are team after all. I think it would be fair if everyone got a share in the things everyone else does!

  • @Blueberry said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/491472#Comment_491472

    Yeah hypothetically that is a way we could do it. Not saying it couldn't be done just that it would be tricky with how many factors are going that could lead to easy confusion between correlation and causation in those determinations.

    The way you mentioned would probably be the best though even with some minor flaws it would have.

    There are some arguments that could be made for them using Blood Warden or Remember Me but not NOED skewing that data. "Generally" though, I would say the killers power should be analyzed at the moment the gates are opened. "Most" the kills after that point are greed, trolling, or NOED. I bet if we looked at all those kill ratios from that point instead the kill rates would be drastically lower. We'd probably see like an average of 1 kill. This would be a lot more accurate in gauging the killers power level than including something stupid like the 4 man snagged at the end where they all dog piled into the basement for that 1 save.

    @Blueberry

    That sounds great, and while we're at it, it should also record the killer's perks so they can see what exactly happened. No NOED? Survivors got greedy. NOED? Survivors were either greedy or the killer isn't viable enough to get a 1:1 ratio before the exit gates were powered.

  • I like how every survivor has a pros and a con. I also like how their attributes reflect their personality because the reason why we main a specific survivor is due to their personality.

    However, I'll suggest what Detective David Tapp's passive should be! :)

    Detective David Tapp:

    "Determination": You won't stop until the bad guys are taken to justice! While within the killer's terror radius, gain a 9% action bonus towards all actions.

    "Reckless": You're so determined that you end up putting yourself into danger! You perceive the killer's terror radius 4 meters shorter than normal.

  • @Blueberry said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/487367#Comment_487367

    I don't believe there is a way to properly account for some of those things.

    My point isn't how they would do it, but to recognize how extremely flawed the statistics are to show them that they shouldn't be putting so much weight on those statistics when deciding if certain killers need buffs or not.

    Like how they say they are keeping an eye on a killer but they think the killer looks fine so far because they are showing around a 2 kill ratio from their stats. That's what I mean.

    @Blueberry

    Hmm, shouldn't they take the ratio when the exit gates are powered and then take the ratio when the trial ends?

    Example: Wraith

    Exit Gates Powered:

    3 Alive; 1 dead/sacrificed

    Trial Ends:

    4 dead/sacrificed

    If you noticed, something is wrong with these statistics because we start at 3 alive and went to 0 alive. This could mean this killer is relying on a perk to be viable such as NOED and he needs buffs.

  • I'll like to clarify that this will make the survivor's emblems more about teamwork and your skill. :)

    Any survivor mains or experienced players want to give me some feedback? I don't play a ton of survivor so idk if these are good emblem changes.

  • Honestly, I'm all for an Entity Pass because there is likely a free one and a premium one. The free pass will give you free stuff just by playing the game, I mean it's free stuff for crying out loud. Sure, there's a premium Entity Pass, but that's the player's choice to purchase. If you're going to complain about free stuff, then I don't what to say anymore.

  • Well, to shine light on a bad situation, @Peanits said they don't keep all of their eggs in one basket. Therefore, we can deduce that the leaks aren't everything.

    It's the first comment in this thread:

    I'm so excited to see what's on the 31st of May, but I'm afraid the leaks gave most of it away!

  • I mean I love what behaviour does but, jeez louis did we have a heck ton of power bar killers released, such as spirit, legion, plague, and now were gonna get a ghostface and a new freddy that both have power bars.

    Power bars are great in my opinion because they allow for even more balance. For example, strong powers are usually nerfed directly, but a power bar can add counter play while keeping the power itself strong. If Spirit didn't have a power bar, BHVR would have to nerf her Phase and make her unfun to play as. However, since she has one, she can keep her strong power while providing counter play.

  • @Almo said:

    Hi!

    Just a note about Legion's performance: I've checked some data on it, and their performance hasn't changed much since the update.

    This doesn't mean we're 100% done with Legion, but at the moment nothing is sticking out, either.

    @Almo

    Have you tried increasing the add-ons' duration and having them take effect upon the first FF M1, rather than the second FF M1? Ideally, they should last pretty long since they are likely going to be hooked after FF. And if you don't hook them after FF, it's an award for tagging multiple survivors since the time is now longer. :)

  • These are called, "Dead Zones" since you can't blink pass them. It was really bad in the old days, and some maps like Léry's, you had to bloodlust loops as a Nurse because your blink wouldn't work.

    @NMCKE Noice! bloodwarden OP perk pls nurf but on a serious note tis good that you can use endgame builds actually haven't tried using one yet.

    @KillermainBTWm8

    Just make sure you hook the survivor when at least 50% of the collapse has expired and make sure that survivor is on sacrifice hook (3rd hook). This is because the slow down won't waste your Blood Warden. However, if you have a survivor who's NOT on death hook, hook that survivor when 60%-70% of the collapse has expired to compensate for the slow, and DON'T CAMP so they can get unhooked as fast as possible. Faster unhooks means less time wasted from the collapse slow.

  • @KillermainBTWm8 said:

    No offense but this is really hard to read, although I am guessing english isn't your first language so it's ok. Btw, props to the survivors since they didn't give me any salt! I wished more people were like them tbh! :)

  • Would be nice to have, since every other killer has 2 yet these killers have none.

    I'll like to see Nurse get an Ultra rare add-on where her first blink instantly downs survivors.

  • Buff weak killers so we can have more variety at high ranks! :)

    Edit: I don't want every killer to be Nurse tier. Just enough buffs to see more variety!

    No I actually do like your idea. We'd need to test it in the PTB.

    I'd like to think of something better for NOED as well since people still don't seem to like the idea I listed but I'm not sure what else to do with it. Ideas?

    @Blueberry

    NOED is a special case because if your teammates are lazy, you can get punished when you try to take one for the team. I do have an idea, but I need to hear your opinion!

    Hex (No One Escapes Death):

    You're fueled by the power of determination si much that it calls upon the Entity. For every totem remaining in the trial:

    • The collapse timer is reduced by 8/10/12 seconds.
    • Gain a 1% movement speed increase.

    @NMCKE Everybody who speaks a 2nd language knows how low the quality of Google translate is.

    I'm sure the devs aren't using Google translate. As I wrote above, I assume that they hired a non-certified translator.

    @NoShinyPony

    Yeah, you're right, they probably are using non certified translators, but on the bright side, at least it's something right? I would rather have something than nothing.

    @NoShinyPony

    Not everyone, and that's the reason why I felt like I needed to further explain why it's so bad. Most people may think Google Translate is pretty decent when in reality, it's not very comprehensible. It's okay to use it in a pinch, but not in the long run. Therefore, I hope the developers aren't using Google Translate because I been hearing the translations have been very, disappointing.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    @NMCKE Yeah, everybody knows that Google translate doesn't make perfect translations?

    I mean, every player who is complaining here about the quality of a certain translation is probably a native speaker of that specific language and has in addition a good command of English.

    The op asked the devs to hire a certified translator and jokingly asked whether the current translation was done by Google (since it is so bad). I just don't get why you would start explaining in seriousness why Google translate isn't a good choice for a professional translation.

    @NoShinyPony

    Because it isn't a good choice.

  • @NoShinyPony said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/487767#Comment_487767

    @NMCKE Nobody said that the devs should use Google Translate. They most likely worked together with non-certified translators who didn't do a good job. (If you take a look around here, the German translation isn't the only one people are complaining about.)

    @Pirscher Besides that DbD should have proper translations: If you don't like the translation, you could play the game in English. It's what I do.

    @NoShinyPony

    I'm saying that Google translate isn't a good tool to translate between languages (See Below).

    @ABannedCat said:

    German speaking here. Its not only that most translations sound like Google Translater, its also that many things in-game plain and simple read the wrong effects. Nurse add-ons confuse "slightly", and "moderate" alot for example. Or the Windstorm add-ons for Wraith read like his movement is decrased while being uncloacked, while its only while uncloacking.

    I dont know about other translations, but they seriously need to step up their game in the German version. Many explanations are simply wrong, or worded in a confusing matter.

  • Hi BHVR, I just played on PS4 after the current update and saw different translations which are actually worse than before.

    You know Google Translate isn't perfect, ya know? It just gives you a rough estimate of what a different language is saying in your language. As a proficient French and native English speaker, I see the flaws of Google Translate.

    Example:

    Qu'est-ce que tu faire?

    Google Translate:

    "What you do?"

    What it's supposed to translate to:

    "What are you doing?"

    As someone who has, as a Survivor, managed to do exactly what Dehitay is describing, the nerfed pallet speed completely ensures that there is nothing the Legion can do while in Frenzy. Sure, he can break it afterwards, but don’t you think it’s unreasonable that running in a circle around short loops is a near-foolproof cancellation to a power that is literally built to prevent that from happening?

    Personally, I think it’s unreasonable. And by that I mean “total bullshit”.

    @No_Mither_No_Problem

    I did the same thing in Léry's, but it involved a bunch of vaults! I would gain just enough distance to reach another, then another one, then another one, etc etc.

    @NMCKE dear god, I'd be dominating with that. Especially with STBFL XD. She'd be the strongest killer by a landslide.

    Well, you have to hit them during the speed boost after exiting Yamoaka's Haunting, otherwise you won't get some of your power back. That's the reason why Nurse is so strong, she has a power that ignores the survivors' defenses AND it's not on a cool down!

    I meant with my other one, that while she's not as rewarding, she feels more rewarding.

    Not in need of buffs to be Nurse tier though.

    Ah I see! I know every killer doesn't need to be Nurse tier, but if you want Spirit to be as rewarding as Nurse, she will need to get some of her power back upon hitting survivors after exiting Yamoaka's Haunting. Not saying this is needed, but it's just a suggestion if you want her to be more rewarding for her difficulty. :)
