thrill affects blessing time (at least in the previous update) you can also use gift of pain which reduces the speed of everything while healthy
-
The only one I ever use is to start with one other survivor and that's only when I use prove thyself
-
Just a disclaimer, I don't consider Steve, Nancy and Demo's perks as generic. I bought those characters so it still says it's their perk even after prestiging a character.

Giant Spider is honestly the least likely thing to be made. Devs stick to human / once-human / humanoid characters pretty exclusively, but the "Giant Spider" is such a classic pick that harkens back all the way since when DBD released that I couldn't help but pick it for the purposes of this poll.
I just want them to actually update the Minotaur legendary skin and give it the same treatment legendaries are getting nowadays. As it stands, I think it's pretty low quality by comparison, why does the Minotaur still sound like a rage filled Samurai warrior? Why does the Greek Minotaur wield a Japanese Kanabo? I'd love to see the character make fittingly inhuman sounds which befit an actual minotaur, and wield a Labrys which is fairly iconic to the myth and culture of the original legend.
Undertale (I'm assuming Undyne being the Undyne from Undertale) is probably one of the least fitting licenses out there, it's cutesy style and tone is far too divergent from Dead by Daylight. Sure they're "monsters" but for most of them, save a few, they're monsters in the same way that Pokémon are "monsters" and it just doesn't work. Undertale has it's dark moments, "brother-killer" and all that, but for the most part it is far too light hearted for Dead by Daylight, hence the bone puns and jokes about Spaghetti.
Still waiting on the T-1000 from Terminator. I think the liquid metal android would be extremely unique even as far as mechanical inhuman characters go, and would diversify the killer roster quite a bit. Plenty to work with as far as powers go toward a kit, would have a really interesting M1 with knife arms or other classic slasher instruments, and if a shapeshifting power was ever going to exist in Dead by Daylight the T-1000 would be my 2nd pick to give it to (obviously John Carpenter's The Thing would be 1st pick). Hell, I'm half expecting a fnaf animatronic to come eventually, so if they did make an original robot character, it'd have to be pretty unique from either of those franchises I think.
The undyne is a legit mythical creature/monster. It is not created by Toby Fox and is also a playable race in some tabletop RPGs

Third seal
Third seal while underwhelming I wouldn't say is bad. Survivors on 1st hook often go for escapes and reach stage 2 from not seeing team members and you can slug without the survivor being picked up.
-
I managed to survive despite being the 1st found and getting camped to stage 2.
-
it's the easiest perk to use, has no cool down and can be used anytime unless you're broken but it takes much longer to compensate. The perk is fine. Remember when self care was the best perk in the game? Pepperidge farm remembers...
-
considering his nerfs, yes
-
The game's balance should be built individually based on maps, powers, add ons, items and perks
-
The only pressure killers have at the start is that until you figure out what killer it is you don't know what to do to counter them. If you knew the killer has no 1 shot element to their power you can throw on overcome with lb or lightweight to escape easier or if it's plague you can be like "no point in this medkit, i'll switch my item." That would suck massively especially since you can't switch killer in the lobby anymore.
-
Pain resonance only has an effect on one gen. If survivors split up and do gens all around the map it'll just be a minor setback
-
Imagine if in 86% of games killers used noed. Pretty much the same thing.
-
How about a giant spider? It has 2 main abilities, 1. Lay webs, survivors move very slowly on them but The Arachnid moves faster on them. 2. Climb walls, The Arachnid can hold a button and climb walls getting the jump on survivors in high walled loops and having excellent surveillance opportunities to find survivors. They could even repurpose Demo's "up and over" vault animation as it would make sense for a giant spider to do this.
-
We could have had the raccoon city streets but NOOOO...

Killers that can one shot the whole match. Not a problem.
Killer that can one shot due to a perk/addon before gens are completed. Not a problem.
Killer that one shots due to an end game perk. Blasphemy.
NOED gets a bad rap because survivors believe they won once the last gen is powered. The killer wiping the team after this point hurts their sense of accomplishment.
I agree. Survivors do survive until they escape and i've never a survivor get upset about surviving due to adrenaline, dead hard or decisive strike at end game
-
In all seriousness many cheaters do minor running speed buffs to hide it.
-
I see the combo of ds and dh on WAY more than 10% of players lol
-
The problem is toxic survivors. Who would want to get chained blinded or BO squad bullied late at night? Killers just try to learn a new killer or try a new perk out a some prick teabags every pallet stun, gangs up with flashlighters, abuses multiple body blockers with boiled over and use extremely bright, eye sore cosmetics. If a killer uses anti bully perks then that's a perk slot not used for slow down, lethality or tracking which if you want to do well you better bring perks that do this. (especially slow down) I only play killer when I A. Have a ritual to do. B. Have a rift challenge to do. Or C. Been doing too much survivor or have gotten tired of waiting in queue. The reason for this is toxic survivors and bully SWF squads. I want this game to be fun for all players of all preference and experience (granted noobs need to warm up and learn the game through experience 1st) but as long as jerk offs dedicate themselves to being toxic pieces of human garbage that will not happen.

I think EGC has a generous time limit. Killers will likely camp if the gate is open or not. If you want to patch a few team mates up quicker then just pop the gate. It's a last minute hero perk and BW is used VERY rarely due to it's limitations so I've never worried
-
I love the irony that survivors hate noed (which is preventable by small game if you haven't played enough to generally know) when EVERY game has people running ds, dead hard and iron will. So the killer can't have a freebie in end game that can be negated but survivors can run as many (I'm a bad player who wants to grief) perks as possible. With the buff to BO and there being bully squads dedicated to it killers deserve risking a last laugh perk.
-
Nurse takes a lot of time to master. Learning EXACTLY how long to charge blinks for short and mid ranges and baiting survivors to force them so you can react and catch them. It's a lot of work and then there's minor readjustments when you throw add ons in the mix. There are also gonna be survivors that are just good at baiting and punishing from having played great nurses. Nurse needs to react so when survivors force her to predict through their tile and scenery knowledge even a great nurse can have mild to moderate issues. Nurse isn't invincible and I think her trouble carrying survivors when people go for protection hits is why literally every nurse i face uses agitation with starstruck.
-
You gotta remember that tracking and chasing are elements killers can control. Slowing gen progress isn't. The killer can't chase 4 survivors. Killers have a time limit controlled by survivors. If they run a few stall perks then it's to deal with what they can't control.
-
No mither can be used in some niche builds if you want to gen rush or be a totem buster or be a super medic or make escaping the killer's grasp more likely. Sole survivor only synergizes with object and you need your team to die for that.
-
I sometimes run mither comboing with resilience for a high risk high reward gen rush build (very, very rarely mind you, it's a meme build)
-
Remember when Mathieu Cote played a game as hag and got destroyed by toxic survivors? I guess they did "a pretty good job so far."
-
When a new killer and/or survivor gets released 1mil often won't even get you to level 40 so you save up to get all this progress on them and you still don't have their unique perks unlocked to everyone and if the chapter has at least 2 characters you have to start from scratch and hoard a ton again. I think 2 or 3 million would be fine as a cap.
-
I never use adrenaline because the instant speed is only helpful if you're in a chase or you're the closest to a gate and the heal won't happen if you're already healthy
-
If you want to land sneaky rushes at gens i found that using Monitor and abuse to move closer before crouching helps with that. If ambushing correctly you can land one at some safeish pallets but I wouldn't rely on it or expect a survivor not to learn from it after the 1st time
-
choosing your charms are a fun way to customize your characters (especially for since you can decorate your hooks however you want.
-
Two basements on maps allowing it I think would be fine. Survivors could even know there are 2 of them if they used one of the two basement hook reveal offerings and begin playing around this new knowledge. Certainly not too broken or anything
-
The only perk somewhat decent killer perk I can see SS doing something with other than B&C is i'm all ears. Not a common perk but i see it once in awhile

*the map is functional and I don't mind it
I was going to add an additional "I despise it" option, but accidentally hitting a button to instantly post and having no way to edit the poll itself is a fun feature ain't it?
yeah, would have chosen that too. If I ever see that badge show up on the offerings screen I close out to avoid it and the DC penalty. This is the only map I hate more than Lery's
-
"somewhere safe" is the most dangerous place in the map... SMH
-
I never liked playing pyramid head. It's entirely luck based if you get torment activated since a survivor must walk or run through it. Any time I get his cage daily ritual or have to bear trap survivors I redo it. The ritual is something YOU are supposed to do. Not something that you HOPE someone else will.

My gripe is we have the fake "Freddy Krueger" instead of the real "Freddy Krueger" with voice lines.
dude... THIS Freddy is NOT the one portrayed by Robert Englund.
-
Here's my rework idea, remove the drop bonus, lower struggle effect to 25% and make it so the killer moves a little slower while they carry you. I think that would make it a decent niche but not super strong
-
I love how two face has two vote ATM
-
Clayface's power could be to rush forward with a sludge wave to keep pressure up and if he hits a survivors they are temporarily immobilized. Survivors could tell he is doing this by a bubbly gurgling sound while active and a different one once it ends. Survivors only hear it within a certain distance. His mori is to brutally bash the survivor's head with his mallet morphed hands before bowing with a flourish. (He is an actor and quite proud of it after all.)
-
The idea of the perk originally was to very rarely help you break free of the killers grasp. The drop giving you 25% I think gives it the niche play it is supposed to be for. Unbreakable needs a pretty specific scenario met to pull it off and it only became viable as a result of slugging increasing. If it's now too strong maybe they can slightly slow the killers movement speed while carrying you. Prior to this buff i used it on Ash for my "worst perks ever" perk set. It was boil over, no mither, sole survivor and buckle up. Before you say "no mither with self care is the worst combo." I was well aware. The point of the build was to allow the perks to work as best as they can and just suck because they are that bad. Self care i wouldn't say is bad... It's just used poorly.
-
Maybe they temporarily lower the cost of all add ons to 3,000? They won't get more of anything strong they'll just have to invest less bp

Yeah but how many actually use them? How often do you see anniversary or Halloween items for example?
I saw 2 anniversary toolboxs yesterday and 5 anniversary medkits. These things last...

So you want two event offerings? The killers can use red envelopes if they had another offering they would have to sacrifice using the red envelopes. You get bloodpoints for hooking survivors in this event if you play a red envelope, on top of collecting your envelope in game. If you don't want an additional offering do you really want to sacrifice an add-on slot for a niche item. In the halloween event I know I hardly ever used the serum because I didn't want to sacrifice an add-on slot as I main a killer that is heavily add-on reliant. You do get a slight advantage to survivors bringing these toolboxes though because if they hit or miss a skill check it sends up fireworks which can be spotted by the killer alerting you to a survivor being active on that gen.
only noobs miss skill checks

No but how many are you going to see after this event?
Well considering that by the end of it many people will have 50+ on their main survivor and on others they worked they should still be plentiful for months to come.

Firstly the best item in the game is the ranger medkit and secondly no I don’t. All dedicated player have a good stock of items on their main for example I have about 70 ish commodious toolboxes on Jane. Even if killers got an add on it probably wouldn’t be very strong
And did you get those 70 toolboxs in 2 days time? No, didn't think so.

What exactly are those incredible items? Like you said theyre basically just already existing items. Also killers dont have general items like survivors, which means they would need to get new items like the vials, but they would also grant advantageous effects. Why? survivors dont get any advantage from using a festive toolbox rather than using just a commodius toolbox. There is nothing to compensate for killers.
The commodious toolbox is the best survivor item in the game and these events give out an outlandish amount of them. Survivors get something awesome to use in trials from events then Killers should too.
-
@Phasmamain said:
A flashbang and a green toolbox isn’t really amazing tbf
REALLY!? You DON'T think giving out lots of commodious toolboxs while killer get NOTHING is an unfair thing? Yes these exist and show up on the bloodweb but not guaranteed, not at the center, not multiple times and not for 3,000 bloodpoints. Killers should get a special offering if survivors are going to 30 something of the best item in the game. I'm survivor main and I don't find it fair.
-
How about for just april 1st no perks work whatsoever. I think it would be fun for April fools day if player had to use their knowledge of the game and items/ add ons to get the job done. I don't think the game would be unfair in this state. You may say "Killers won't have trouble downing survivors so they'll steam roll." Or "without slow down perks killers are gonna get gen rushed." Well I think with survivors being more likely to use stealth and healing each other killers and survivors will have a very unique experience. Just imagine someone putting on such god awful perks like Buckle up, sole survivor, territorial imperative or monstrous shrine and then being like "well THAT PERK sure doesn't help much!" Knowing full and well that no perks are doing anything today.

To be fair, Sidney Prescott isn't absent from the Ghostface chapter- that chapter is not a Scream chapter so there's no reason for her to be there.
My answer is none, and John Constantine, personally.
I agree, Danny is his own incarnation and doesn't need a recognizable licensed survivor

Idk where you are getting your numbers but self-care with botany takes 24 seconds.
16 dived by .83 equals 19.27 if you are healing yourself at 83 percent speed it takes 19.27 seconds
