I don't know. Adding more rng to a game already filled to the brim with rng seems like a bad idea. Things like night and whatever that makes it harder for killer vison is just a kick to the nuts even rain might even mask survivor breathing, footsteps, gen being repaired, etc.
-
It's not the same meta killers and people are still complaining? Yikes survivors are never happy ;^)

No, they don't deserve it, but it's not necessarily a win. Just earlier I went against a Bubba who face camped his first hook. He got one kill and like 11K points. Probably de-pipped. I wouldn't remotely consider that a win if it were me.
While camping Bubbas are the lowest form of DBD life, that is their prerogative. But you can punish that strategy.
Pretty sure you don't derank anymore and it will be just stuck at 0 pip. So really he didn't lose anything and if he got some heated words in post chat he probably wanted that too lol
-
Does that apply to cheaters?

You sort of have to I find, otherwise it can be bloody impossible to get a hook if you knock them down in the tunnel.
I haven't really seen an infinite in the main building (it's entirely possible that I just haven't come up against it yet though). The only one I've seen in Badham are two houses put together, and at least I can smack the walls to prevent repeated abuse.
It's the fence in the main building. You just loop around the main building every time if the breakable door is broken. There is a two breakable doors then the left one just extend the loop while the right one gives the survivor three window vaults if they run it properly.

That only in bandham in haddonfield you have no breakable wall
He brought up badham. Man you can at least read the context before replying without thinking?

Badham's equivalent at least has a breakable wall if I'm not mistaken. I'll often just bust that out if I'm passing.
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2640413#Comment_2640413
Sure.
But what do you do against a group of survivors that just high-tail it there every time you chase them? This was the big problem I had tonight.
You don't want to open the breakable walls in the main building though it opens up the infinite lmao.
-
None even bamboozle is garbage in that house. If possible you want the generator there gone asap and you set up a three gen and a dead zone farthest away from that evil house.
-
Long walls and play around his slow movement speed then hold W gaming, if you're experienced enough maybe even let him mind game himself and you just run into a different tile. Depends on the map really if it's a lot of loop that's open to the chest level you're screwed.

Disagree, I don't use a third party program to raise my DPI, in fact I used to only play in a very high dpi which is different but I have played blight on a controller, you can do most things on it and I have played against cracked console blights, how do I know? Because once I did searched their name through playstation and they had an account there with dbd.
But I guess for this community having high dpi = exploit, that is not an exploit, exploit is how breakdown took hooks from the killer or the old vigil exploit that got people banned also the wake up exploit and stuff.
Must be an exploit if their aim assist can't help them in their flicks :^).
No but seriously I played Apex legends and Overwatch competitively(not pro just took it way too seriously) on console and they're usually foreign on stuff you can learn with a lot of practice. They just blame their platform's limitation. There's even moonwalk tutorials on controllers lmao.
-
You have nothing to worry about unless you're really hacking which I doubt. Sounds like beginners thinking the rules apply to their situation it doesn't. It's all fair game unless you're blocking a survivor in a corner and going AFK.
Ignore it and move on.

It wouldn't work, because the old ruin needed to be great skillchecks, this perk just fixes wrong skillchecks turning them into good skillchecks, using this perk on the old ruin would still regress the generator, it just wouldn't blow up the generator.
Yeah but they could adjust this perk to be more line with the old ruin because there's just isn't really any place for this perk at all. I doubt even beginners would constantly fail easy as hell skill checks that you'll need help from a buddy aside from maybe their first time repairing a generator.

Billy players just tend to be cool people, they don't care that much about winning from what I can tell, they just want to have fun, while also giving room for survivors to have fun themselves.
Billy players are a gem in this community.
Then they get treated like dirt by the survivors. Very lore friendly.
-
Perk would be okay if it was a year ago when Ruin had a skillcheck that people couldn't hit lmao.
-
I've been using the two boon perk as a Solo Q and anyone who tells you that it's easy to snuff it and I'm wasting my time rekindling it is baloney. Wasting 14 seconds to rekindle a totem is worth it when you have 4 people in your team. Keeps everyone in the team healthy at all times to hold W gaming further and a killer's time is 4x more valuable.

Bring me a single game u can't get better at.
So you focused on the word skill ceiling and ignored the rest afterwards?

Emmm sorry but every single game works like u described. Only dead don't improve with time. I doubt they didn't expect players get better.
What do you mean every single game wasn't designed with a skill ceiling in mind? Lol you have a lot of awful takes but this is your best one.
-
Doubt they even expected the game to have a skill ceiling in the first place. It was just hide and seek scary game back then...then people found out you could cheese killers with windows then it escalated from there.

According to the queue times during daytime - nope, playing as killer is still popular, much more popular than playing as survivor.
Pretty balanced on my end. daytime go play survivor. At night go play killer.

Result: you lose MMR (the maximum amount of it to that, because you died first) and descend into the Elo Hell with potato teammates. The killer achieved what he intended to: to make you lose MMR while also stealing several minutes of your time. Rushing gens is not a "counter" to camping, at least not for the one being camped. For that one player there is no counter at all. Pretty good balance so far.
Actually went to do a escape streak after that with good teammates hence I'm running a loadout with no DS at all. I'm that confident with my teammates :^) sometimes match like this happens but whatever.
I didn't say it was a counter to camping though? The best thing you could do is not reward the killer with even more kills but if you want to kill on hook and make a pity party in the forum I guess that would be ideal.
-
This is the correct play. Pump generator and don't reward the killer anymore kills :^) I'll happily hold onto the hook and delay.
-
As a Solo Q 95% of the time. Kindred shouldn't be base kit. Absolutely hate demanding hand holding when the option exist to you know just equip it.
-
Ah the feedback section where discussion go to sleep.
-
Talking about old games makes me remember that I want The suffering back
-
If you're a competent killer you should be able to see whether the survivor team knows what they're doing or not lol.
-
Yeah that add on is pretty funny. High rank survivors always pull that dead hard into traps as if they were smart and I just walk past it and down them lmao.
-
There's only one type of survivor I dislike.
And it's the ones with the flashlights. At least the normal survivors are just bad so you can't blame them but the survivors carrying a flashlights are bad at the game at the same has the confidence as if they can survive one mind game(they can't) so they're pretty much worthless to the team that can't do generators and is free pressure.

Propnight comes out on November 30 of this month.
It's like DBD but the survivors can turn into objects of their environment to hide.
Isn't that the game where there's no downsides to camping and tunneling heavily and the survivors can't do anything about it lol?
I only watched some played but seems like that's the case.
-
For a second there I thought I was in a New world forum.
Also tunnel the tank to death but yeah this just really just makes it sad for M1 killers with the permanent heals in the game.
-
Is there a rift challenge for this like escaping through hatch? I don't do those anymore but they usually encourage a lot of stupid crap.
-
Mad Grit may not work most of the time but when it does it's pretty hilarious. Got a lot of snowballs with it because people kept blocking the hook and I'm just laughing my ass off
-
Sounds like a better Doctor
-
Maybe anything is possible since the Anti cheat is very much compromised. You can find people subtly use cheats to increase their movement speed and wall hacks isn't that far off.
But people could also be using those stretched resolution stuff.
-
It's pretty hard to relax as a killer. You're in a competitive mindset the entire match keeping tracks of what's happening in the game at all times and your mind is on turbo mode because one mistake = game over. This is a stark difference to when you're playing as a Survivor, Just listening to music and mistakes you made are easily patched by three other people.
Even known chill streamers like Otz can get frustrated when he's playing Killer. At first he's fine then you can see gradually his soul fades away lol
-
I legit haven't seen a Twin use the so called forbidden technique I keep hearing about.
Just leatherface.
-
Couldn't you just turn off cross-play? Am I missing something here?
-
Yeah there are spots where you can't pick up survivors. I saw one where a Survivor just crawled into the killer basement stairs and just stayed there. It's a known bug and the only saving grace is not a lot of people know about it yet anyway
-
Not really looks like a mod where a Survivor model is forced into a killer model.
This is basically the killer.
-
It's great until you realize it's a hex perk itself so its susceptible to RNG elements in the game be it map size, totem locations, survivor spawn, etc . Maybe it's good on killers with powers to interrupt it but for majority of killers it's very high risk.
-
Maybe switched to survivor since it's less stressful.
-
get lethal pursuer

Incorrect, if the survivors are good or even slightly it's only killer sided when 2 remain and one can usually get the hatch.
Yeah no that's not how the game works buddy. It becomes increasingly easy to juggle three players instead of four.
-
He was pretty fun to play against despite his lunges but now it's just too easy kiting him around.

Wouldn't be hard. Make a fresh account so I can face the equivalent of the survivors in the posted video. Derank off stream. Come back for session 2 of shooting fish in a barrel
Alright man I'll wait.

Grades have 0 to do with mmr. Grades are just time played in a month
Maybe he's a new player and he got that matched against him. Which isn't anything new with this game but would be nice if we can see his devotion level though.

Because 60 against babies isn't really that impressive 🤣. I could never lose another game in my life going against that level of survivor.
Do it then it's pretty easy.
-
@Seraphor said:
But... but every streamer said this would be impossible with MMR.
I would imagine the difficulty spike would be multiplied if you're a very high profile streamer though. Stream snipes galore and really good chance of encountering navy seals. But that's about it.
-
I don't know why people keep downplaying what he did he got to 60 wins in a row.....Would be a different discussion altogether if he did this on a fresh account which I doubt.
-
Bro the fact that there's a tournament scene on this broken game is wack. Lmao.
