Hello again, so recently I asked does DS really need a nerf, most of the responses were how " it provides a 60 second immunity, and takes time away from the killer" and or " rewards bad players." I noticed some of these complaints given by most of whom I assume who are killer mains parallel to the complaints about, Noed either it being "rewards bad killers" or takes too much time away from the main objective. " Those who have no problem with these perks have a simple solution to both. NOED = Do the Bones, DS = Eat it or Ignore it. Both or the perks have counters but people don't like them because it takes "too much" time. I did the math and 5 totems between 4 survivors really doesn't take much time. Each totem takes 14 seconds to break, there's 5 totems on each map that's 70 seconds to cleanse them all. From my experience (( I run nancy's perk that allows you to heal in lockers)) finding totems isn't that hard and is technically an objective since you are stopping hypothetical Noed that's gonna screw you over in endgame. So I don't see why people complain about that even if they're solo cue. Even if you aren't running the perk 90% of the time you see a totem you probably are gonna cleanse it because, points? Now for DS literally you either ignore it and slug adding map pressure or take it like a champ so you don't have to deal with it later. If you have something that I should know about why these aren't valid options I'm all ears. Thanks!
You gave this quite a good write up. First of all, I am a killer main, so I might be a little bit biased. The thing that doesn't make sense about DS to me is that it rewards getting hooked in a way, and if the killer downs a survivor, I think they deserve that down. At least with NOED you have to hit a survivor, whilst with DS you get rewarded for getting hooked. Even though I am a killer main, some things about killer needs nerfs. I think that iridescent head and Myers's tombstone piece add-ons need nerfs. I think a good example of a perk that would be broken, but seems to reward good play. Deliverance is kind of unfair, but nowhere near as DS, because it rewards safely unhooking a survivor, unlike DS which rewards getting hooked.

I would love a chapter dedicated to John Carpenter's The Fog, one of my favorite horror films of all time.
It could also make for an interesting and different map, with environmental flavor not seen in other maps (and via the killer, an environmental tweak that would affect all other maps he's playing in). It'd certainly be a cool place to play The Trapper's sea sunken skin.
I imagine it would take place on Antonio Bay's coastline. There'd be a water element, maybe a quarter of the map submerged in traversable, shallow sea. Lighthouse in the distance. Fog horns. Stevie Wayne could be a survivor, thus bringing Adrienne Barbeau, another Scream Queen, into the DbD fold.
But what would make it really different (and really different every time you played against this killer) is that the entire map would be blanketed in an impenetrable fog, Silent Hill style. Thus forcing players to be more cautious, more stealthy with no long distance line of sight past 10 or 15 feet. The killer, one of the ghost pirate / lepers from the film would function similarly to The Wraith utilizing invisibility and when he decloaks he would materialize from out of the swirling fog next to you.
I think that it would be super atmospheric (I'm always wondering why the devs don't utilize environmental changes in maps more such as fog or lightening storms etc.)
My dreams of a Night of the Demons chapter was detailed here:

Art the clown would be fun but we do already have The Clown. The Xenomorph and Jason would be #1 for me. For original chapters I think something of a creature from the black lagoon or a scarecrow type killer would be awesome. Or a killer that transforms like a werewolf or something similar. Someone mentioned a spider woman like a Jorōgumo.
I hate terrifier so much. I think it is one of the worst movies ever made. If the devs add Art, I really hope his mori is not, (you know) the upside down kill. The movie to me seems like torture porn.

The one I want the most and the one I think will fit into the lore of the game the best would be Supernatural.
Either a full chapter release or just Sam and Dean as survivors.
The wendigo from supernatural would be amazing!

Hello, what chapter you like more. Stranger things or silent hill?
Stranger things. I love silent hill, but when you have 2 survivors and one of them being Steve, and of course the demogorgon, I'm sold :D. I still think the stranger things chapter is the best chapter in dbd. Also, the map is very fun to play on, and is the best designed map in the game (visually).

My opinion: This just shouldn't be a thing, ever.
It's the same as having a Hex Totem and despite immediately going straight for it, not being able to save it in time.
Except this is worse since it's a primary objective.
So, what to do?
I don't have the faintest clue.
Thankfully, that's not up to me, i'm not a developer.
P.S. The game didn't update the Generator count properly.
I think the developers are providing a solution to this, like end game collapse, but for the start. Someone had a great idea to fix it, you have to turn on a switch to do a generator, that you have to find.

The Wendigo
Terror radius: 32 meters
Movement Speed: 4.6 M/S (115%)
Power: Mirage - You may send out a clone of yourself, that inherits your status effects and perks. The clone will walk forwards for at least 1 second before pathfinding towards the nearest Survivor within 12 meters or if the Survivor's aura is revealed 24 meters. It will continue walking forwards if there is no Survivor within range. The clone will ignore downed or hooked Survivors. You may see the clones aura at all time as well and any auras the clone sees will be revealed to you as well.
Note: Pathfinding is done by simply finding and using the fastest path towards the Survivors current location and lunging when the clone is sufficiently close. The clone will never respect pallets, attempt mindgames, deliberately cut off a Survivor ect. Escaping one would probably be very easy.
The clone can vault windows and lunge but cannot break pallets or walls. If a Survivor is hit by the clone they will take no damage but will scream become oblivious and blinded for 20 seconds, and have their aura revealed for the duration.
Note 2: The clone is effectively a seperate Killer that has the same perks and stacks of existing perks. This means that if for example you have PWYF and the clone loses a chase, the clone gets the extra stack and not you. This also means it can utilize perks like bamboozle, unrelenting ect. Basic attack conditions can never be met however, since even if they do hit the Survivor it's not considered a basic attack, or (for PWYF) an offensive action at all.
Only one clone can exist at a time. The clone lasts until it either:
- Hits a wall before finding a Survivor
- Hits a Survivors
- Gets pallet stunned
- Is manually disabled by pressing the power button again
The clone has a 10 second cooldown.
The clone is also considered the Killer for the purposes of tracking perks and has a 32 meter terror radius. If two terror radius's overlap then the closest one takes precedence.
Addons and perks pending
Of course, this is my second most wanted chapter after the dark tower. This is one of my favourite urban legends. All of it interests me, I found out about the wendigo from Pet Semetary (the book) by Stephen King. I also played until dawn. I think he should have antlers and have a ribcage visible for his cosmetics.
-
Old Freddy was an S tier killer, and people only hated him because they didn't spend enough time with him and his add-ons like the class photo and pill made him even better.

I've never seen anyone try to legitimately speak to the merits of Monstrous Shrine. But have to point to the fact you literally contradict yourself by saying it does it's job well, then proceed to explain why it does it's job poorly.
Honestly no need for the mental gymnastics, it's a trash perk that has almost no effect, especially because the survivors can easily go the game without any knowledge of that perks existence or effect on them, and it would make almost no difference if they aren't aware. It's like am infohazard perk, which is a LOT cooler than it sounds. But it's "useless" in pretty much any case, and also compels the killer to go out of their way to make a scenario that may not even be available to them most matches.
It's not even useful on bubba's basement.

So Im playing Meg(* cough FRICKING MEG MAIN*) and I go into a game, the killer was a green rank Deathslinger. And I played the game. Well I'm the only one who got chased, and shot, but by the time he hooks me (the whole game was like 5 minutes) well when I was hooked his noed got broke. I got saved and everyone got out. But the scary part was when he messaged me after words. I play on ps4 so there is no game chat, he sent a voice message, told me how "my swf team sucks and is toxic" (there was no swf team involved) but some thing off, he sounded sad, like not your normal sad but the mental instable kind, I mean like the really REALLY depressed kind of person. I am scared for him not me, I hope he doesn't do anything bad to himself. I don't know him or anything about him, so I really can't say. I asked him if was good but he said no and that's it. I HOPE nothing bad happens. And that's it I don't what to do, like at all. Should I tell someone?
Please, turn off messages from random people. I remember things like that happened to me, also there were tons of toxic messages and death threats towards me. Turning messages off from random people helped my mental health significantly.

It's difficult, nigh impossible to argue that Nurse and Huntress aren't the two hardest killers to play - after that I think it gets a little more interesting, though.
As a pig main I will vouch for her being easy to learn but difficult to master. Just watch Scorpionz' guide on Pig to see how many nuances and advanced concepts to getting the most of Pig there are. A lot of it comes down to how wide her playbook is, even the trap - while seeming braindead to utilize has a lot of wrinkles to it - namely in knowing when to pursue or leave alone people with traps/at boxes. Plague is a bit like a Huntress-lite as well. I've seen some really impressive long distance plague bombs pulled off by Zubat, who isn't even the best with her.
I really don't see why people think huntress is hard. She is one of the least nuanced and doesn't have much to her power. I have to agree with you on pig, even though she is weak, she can do very well if you recognise her nuances.

Haddonfield is the worst map in the game and I stand by that. The fences are very annoying, the hooks are very far apart, the windows are pretty overpowered as well, on top of that, the map is pretty big. The only redeeming quality about the map is sometimes the gates spawn close together.

TL;DR, thanks to the fabulous matchmaking of this game I was put agains 2 reds and 2 purples (the 3 matches before this one I was against 4 reds, with one mtach being against a 3 team swf, go figure).
So this Dwight was constantly clicking the flashligt at me, even tho' I was ignoring him and focusing on stoping the gen rush they were doing.
As you can see they got a hard time.
At the end of the match, de salty child just started saying "trash killer, go f. yourself, only those who don't know how to play use this #########".
Don't be that guy ppl. If the matchmaking is broken, at least you could be nice to the other ppl, I know when I'm playing against a red rank and, when he's being a scumbag, there'll be no hatch, no mercy, and in the endgame I'll make sure that at least he will get the hook (in this match he was the last alive).
PS. The prompt is to monitor my connection as I'm having some issues with the game, and need proof that it isn't my fault :D
This may be off topic, but why did you name yourself that in game? Lol.

You said unpopular opinions so here we go.
- No0b3 only streams when he needs money, he cashes in loads of money for 3 streams then he's gone for 3 months. I unsubbed and blocked his channel from showing up on my YouTube.
- Puppers is amazing, I Love his consistency, I've been subbed to him for about 5 months now. He's entertaining, complains a bit, BUT his points are at times valid with the lag, hitboxes etc.
- Don't care for Tru3 since I watched him years ago when he cried "Stream sniping" every time he got outplayed.
- Otz is a bit boring to watch only because he plays killer about 99% of the time, I like variety.
- Yerv is hilarious.
- Ardetha is amazing, I catch his streams at 3 in the Morning and he does a lot of SWF with his chat. I've been a paid sub to Ardetha for 13 months now.
- I recently stumbled upon this God-like Nurse main Bruscles_ very entertaining to watch, Rank 1 Nurse.
- Ralph from the South is great as well, Love watching him, he's made me a better Huntress.
- Cows is hilarious, Love his content, his accent, and when he messes around too much and yet outplays the killer.
- Paulie is wholesome, a refreshing change to watch. He's just so...literally Wholesome. It's really nice to watch him.
I 100% agree with you on No0b3. I am very glad you acknowledged Yerv, he is very underrated. I agree with you on Paulie as well, he is very nice and entertaining to watch.

I haven't seen many ask for this one, so here. I really want to see The Strangers added. Maybe even just as legendary skins. Their survivor counterpart(s) could be the brother and sister from "The Strangers: Prey At Night"
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/CQLK1TDN1BCP/image.png
Couldn't find a pic from the film, but these two could be the survivor counterparts.
Then, for the realm, it could the trailer park the movie took place in, and it could maybe have two different parts to it.
One being the pool/check-in area with a few trailers:
https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/K1LLFC04K8ZN/image.png
Maybe make the pool drained/unable to access, though.
Then the other, (I won't attach any more images, I swear) would be just trailers and then the park where Kinsey hides from the killer(s).
Actually, this reminds me. If they add the strangers, which is a great idea. Why not add the tethered from US?

Like you said, it has good survivor options, unlike the games that only have bland nightguards. Also it has potential maps, like a mall map for example, a shiny pizzaria for kids wouldn't really fit DbD, at least imo, And a killer/murderer that they could have more freedom in to make his design fit into DbD even more, unlike the games counterpart which has a set design for him.
The novel series is just a much better option, the story/lore is clear, and, like said above, better survivor and map options.
Overall people just don't look beyond the flashy, colorful animatronics. Springtrap would fit in just fine, he's a killer/murderer, would fit aesthetically in and him being dead in that suit wouldn't really be a problem either since we have Spirit for example. And let's be honest, the 'cringe children', others take as the reason to not have a fnaf chapter, the community has isn't problematic, you wouldn't notice them, same could have been said about the ST Chapter.
Not a big fnaf fan personally, but the novels seem more intriguing than the games and your ideas presented are very good. I think springtrap would be very interesting and way more disturbrng than the others.

I think there's a difference between "most wanted" and an objectively "most popular / beneficial" chapter.
In terms of most wanted there's still the big three:
Pennywise, Pinhead, and Candyman. All of them fairly big in terms of film history, all of these have either: been a popular community request for years and years since 2016 - so a long time, we know the devs themselves really want them, or have some kind of modern resurgence of relevance in pop culture due to recent or future movies. All of these have been speculated as real possibilities in previous chapters, or have been teased or hinted at previously with a certain amount of evidence to back up their potential inclusion.
Objectively:
Jason. This is the ultimate horror license that would be the final infinity stone to complete the gauntlet of famous slasher villains: Michael Myers, Leatherface, Freddy Krueger, Ghostface, and finally Jason Voorhees. With all the buzz about chapter 16 before we knew who it was, Jason became a more likely candidate than ever before when people realized all the devs have to do is not mention anything from the original movie. Nothing about Camp Crystal Lake, a boy who drowned, a mother gone crazy, etc. and we skirt all that BS in the lawsuit. With F13 basically dead, it would be absolutely massive to get a hold of this license and see not only F13 players come to Dead By Daylight, but also tap into the humongous F13 fanbase out there.
Underdogs:
The Xenomorph, The Predator, and Chucky. These characters aren't on the level of any of the aforementioned characters simply because we've never seen much if any evidence for their appearance. However they are all popular and famous characters in their own right that DBD would benefit from greatly if included.
Dark Horses:
The Miner (My Bloody Valentine), Dr. Trager / Chris Walker, (Outlast), The Keeper (Evil Within),
Fnaf animatronics, Slenderman,Hannibal Lecter (Silence of the lambs), Jack Torrence (The Shining), Norman Bates (Psycho), Count Orlok (Nosferatu), etc. Basically anybody that isn't in the other lists is in this one. These are characters not everybody is particularly rooting for, some are more popular or fitting than others because it's such a large category, but hey they're there. It's "possible" in a very broad sense, but for many of them probably only a lot later on down the line if at all.In my opinion, the dark horses are hte best ones, imagine nosferatu in the game, with a castle map.
-

Dream license: Valak the Nun (I would've said pennywise but he's already a popular opinion)
My dream original: A scarecrow killer and a male survivor considering we haven't had a male survivor since the Stranger Things chapter.

Rarely used killers, like Trapper, Legion and Clown are actually interesting to verse because you don't know WHAT that masochist will try to do.
