New Freddy is easily top 3. Old Freddy was the bottom of the barrell
Elaborate.

I like your build its very interesting
Thanks =D. You can switch out we're going to live forever for something fun like deliverance.
-
Inner strength gives me very quick pocket healing without wasting much time. Diversion is a lot of fun and works a lot. We're gonna live forever for bloodpoints. Lithe for good distance.

I don't think they're triggered. You and I both know that they're genuinely curious on why survivors do this tactic and he came to ask the survivor community themselves. He doesn't want to just assume that they're being toxic right off the bat, because there might be another reason why Survivors use the stun and blind tactic.
Exactly. I'm not even annoyed by it as a killer main, as it provides a huge disadvantage to the survivor and an advantage to the killer, since the survivor loses distance. Thank you.

Same. Never been a fan of IT. I even like his Rose Red stuff better. Speaking of, DBD needs a mansion indoor map. As much as I love Midwich (I know, most don't) -- enough with the schools please.
If I got to choose one of his works to be in DBD though, I'd go with Carrie.
I completely agree with you on schools, I want different indoor maps, maybe the overlook hotel from the shining. Carrie would be very interesting with her telekenetic powers, but she looks too normal to be in dbd.

While you say not to discuss viability, slinger is far from uncounterable or OP. He has strong 1v1, but is slow and has no map pressure. He is a strong low tier to a light mid tier killer in my opinion. Slinger has many counters, his counters are pretty similar to clown. Pre drop pallets, or loop them normally. Slinger can't get you with his gun on most loops in the game, even if he can see over them. Looking behind you can also help, and if you're going to bring up his small terror radius, use spine chill. Also slinger is one of the tallest characters in the game, meaning survivors can see him over loops, but sometimes slinger can't making mindgames hard with him.

The Stand has always been my favorite book. The movie(s) were all well received by all I know. Just keep it up. It doesn't get any better than that.
The stand is my second favourite book after the dark tower books. Randall Flagg or the man in black, the dark man, Marten Broadcloak, etc, is perfect for dbd.

Killer can listen for sounds?
Lol are you playing an old version of DBD? Half the time you wont hear anything in this game even with a good headset.
Sounds work for me on PS4. Also, killers can still hear the grass move.

Another killer triggered by a flashlight. 😂
Wow, we got a comedian here. Looks like a little someone hasn't even read the discussion. I am fine with flashlights, but blinding at a pallet gives you a disadvantage and just makes you lose distance, and gives the killer an advantage, not the survivor. So my post is trying to help survivors, or asking why they blind at pallets. If you're going to troll in my discussions, read the description first :).

I mained him. I got to rank 1 as him. He was fun but wasn't all too strong imo. Plus watching 2 people double stack the final gen with you being able to do nothing for 6 seconds, they pop adrenaline, and suddenly the 7 second timer stats again wasn't all that fun.
Please can we leave old Freddy in peace- he had his time and that time's over. Because at the end of the day, he was an M1 killer with no way of ending chases and survivors could easily loop you whilst you relied on finding them out of position, and they remain out of position for 7 seconds.
All I want is a brown add-on to bring him back :(
-
I got bored of him. He is such a boring killer to play with one of the lowest skill caps. Stalking is very situational, and you will get like one person exposed per match if you're lucky. He is just a m1 killer that doesn't have much to his power, and I would much rather play wraith.

Why not Pennywise?
I would love having him in dbd, but there are so much better Stephen King chapters that could work in Dbd. Dandelo would be more interesting as he is Pennywises offspring and feeds off of laughter instead of fear.

Clearly, people were expecting something else... lmao
They probably expected this to be a bait post asking for Jojo to come to dbd. Sorry to spoil your expectations.

No because he was the worst of the worst.
How? He was amazing with the right perks and add-ons and had the best gen slowdown in the game when played right. I would argue old Freddy was stronger and more fun than the new one, and he actually took skill and time efficiency to play. Watch @DudeDelicious play old Freddy and you will see.

Title "the stand has potential to come to dbd"
JoJo fans: HMM?
I know this is Stephen king stuff but still
Everything is a Jojo reference now 🙄
-
The key change didn't really change much. Survivors will still get a free escape.
-
This would encourage hook diving, meaning a huge increase in tunneling.
-
The dark tower series or the stand. Randall Flagg, Mordred Deschain, or the crimson king as killer.

Would you recommend the dark tower series? I've been looking for a good book.
######### yes! I finished it recently, and it is my favourite book series of all time. I love all of them, and it is an incredible journey. Some people find the first book boring, but it isn't very long and the rest of the series is much, much better.

I would never play anyone else if I could kill people with comedy.
It would be very interesting. Dandelo is Pennywise's offspring and instead of feeding off of fear, he feeds off of comedy. He also looks creepy enough to be in the game.
-
@SCP_FOR_DBD said:
We got a few but theres always room to grow. So what kind would you guys want? I've heard about a Supernatural one with 1 or 2 survivors. Lets have some fun.
The crimson king would be a cool standalone from the dark tower. Maybe he can throwl some grenades or use the deadlights as a power. Dandelo would also be interesting from the dark tower, as he can perform stand up comedy to kill people.

@CashelP14 said:
You can't balance every map for every killer. Killers like huntress and billy like open maps, whereas killers like Ghostface and Pig like more closed maps. They can never create a map that is perfect for everyone.
True, but I think they can change small things, like adding grass to Gideon meat plat, making Lérys and Midwich's corridors more open etc.
-
@tortrader said:
Look at your perk tiers. You're not really a level 19 killer. Matchmaking is working in this case.
What if he's a survivor main and used his BP on legion? Matchmaking is not working in this case.
-
The dark tower series (books).
Killer: The crimson king, Randall Flagg, or Dandelo.
Survivor: Roland Deschain, the gunslinger.

I just got bam Bam (Oni) yesterday, Played 15 matches straight. I'm really good with getting his power immediately, But I suck alot at using his Demon strike and Demon Dash. It feels like I'll rather play Mr.Slinger over him. Any tips to how to use his Demon Strike and Demon Dash. I Play on Ps4 😁
Alright, I am an Oni main, I play on ps4. I will give you some tips. Try and use demon dash to strafe against walls and listen for the sounds of survivors. You only need to charge demon strike for like 1 second to one shot people. Don't hold forward when demon dashing, go left and right and try to position yourself to one shot people. Use his power to slug with infectious, so you can snowball. Finally, my build is this: Pop, infectious, BBQ, M&A.

Do you think it could be amazing on Doctor? Since you know...he counter the stealth
It's one of his best perks. I use it on him with whispers.

Corrupt will give every killer a chance on bad maps like Ormond, where it can be impossible to stop a generator from being done from the other side of the map.
-
US. Not that the film is overly gorey or anything, but HOLY #########! That ending is absolutely terrifying to think about. Honourable mentions: Cannibal holocaust. Obvious reasons. Human centipede is supposed to make people squeamish. Terrifier. You know what scene makes that film disturbing.

@anarchy753 said:
I'm getting really over "Killer spawns at A, survivors spawn at B as far as possible away from A, all together, and have a gen 75% done before the killer can walk to them."
It feels like it's every single match. They spawn as a team, there's no isolation or figuring out where the best direction to go is, or "maybe I'll do some totems and open chests," it's just "we're all here, do this gen."
On Ormond, it can be impossible to stop a generator from being done, even if you know where it is.

Flagg takes multiple forms. Don't forget, we have a bunny and an elephant in the game.

I'm not that big into king books if I'm honest. I've seen the IT movies and geralds game and thats it. So I have no opinion either way, but plenty of people would certainly be upset that we got something that wasn't IT.
I feel like IT is a bit overrated. I love IT and it is one of my favourite books, but I don't think it's his best. My favourite aspect of IT is the macroverse and the turtle Maturin. The IT book is much better and more brutal than the movies though.

Much as I loved the book, I can't see it happening.
A man can hope. I really want to see anything but Pennywise in dbd. Maybe the crimson king from the dark tower. Randall Flagg is my favourite Stephen King character though.

They've done it before.

The dark tower. Crimson king or Randall Flagg as killer Roland Deschain (gunslinger) as survivor. The map is the scarlet fields of can ka no rey.
-
Anyone who runs object is basically wearing a sign on their head saying "tunnel me". I find that perk extremely douchey and I will always tunnel someone who uses object.

Yerv, ArchDruidDrey, @GoodBoyKaru , space coconut, Paulie, and the entitylefthand are my favourites.
I don't hate any of them, but no0b3 seems to only be on youtube for the money right now.

Any good generic killer build will work for him, however save the best for last is an extreme must cuz it has the best synergy ever with his power, and also no matter how many demo guides you watch you'll never learn properly how to shred without using it yourself, but don't be too reckless with it as it can completely lose you a chase or possibly a game
Yeah, I will only shred when I feel like I can make it.
-
@MongolPSR said:
probably already heard this but STBFL is what makes him shine, also hes an adorable skin doggo.
Save the best for last will definitely make my build for him. He is probably the cutest killer in the game as well. I just want to pet him so much.
-
I don't want to be rude but the little tweaks they made to Billy instead of reverting was like giving your little brother the broken controller, so they can shut up about it. That's my opinion though.
-
######### yeah! I love sleepy hollow. One of my favourite stories and movies of all time. Also love the TV show. I would absolutely love having a headless horseman killer.

Why is the not more done to the people who only tunnel and camp. I feel like the game is allowing people to just tunnel and camp as if this is normal game play. There is no icon that I would say falls in the category of bad toxic killer. These killers get all their points while players who have waited almost 20 min for a match get killed off in 5 to 10 min because the killer stays on the person making it almost impossible to get any objective or altruism points. The game is challenging but these sweaty toxic killers make it nearly impossible to play which then makes me want to find a new game
Don't rush gens and I won't rush kills ;).

Hey guys. I am fairly new to the wonderfully terrifying land of Dead by Daylight and have loved almost every suspense filled step of my journey. I have tried to play as both killer and survivor equally and have about 50 hours played overall. I consider myself an extremely "fair" player, as I am all in for the thrill and fun of it. With this being said, I have a question...
Who ACTUALLY enjoys the Wraith? I have never had a fun match playing AS or AGAINST this character. Everyone dies. I think this character would maybe be more balanced if invisibility mobility was hindered or slowed. I love playing with and against the Spirit, which seems much more of a balanced character by taking away the ability to see survivors and implementing an ability cooldown... But Wraith seems way too over powered. What does the community honestly think about this killer? I'd like to see a large nerf done. Thoughts?
First of all, welcome to dbd! I think since you're new, you might find stealth killers like wraith difficult to play against. As you get better, you will easily be able to counter him. Make sure you turn your camera at all times and when he starts uncloaking, drop a pallet or vault a good window. Wraith is one of my mains, and I love him for his super lunges he can pull off.

Wow, you're as constructive as ever,
