so out of pure frustration from no reply from bugs support and after spending money to investigate the issue myself I have finally fixed my own problem after $200+ dollars.
I had to have a technician come out to service my internet which was actually worthless. I then switched from disc to the online version which was another waste of money. When thru Sony resets which was very frustrating and finally spent all my money on a new router and there you have it I’m finally able to SWF again. The servers and my internet were not able to sustain a good connection which was then causing a no network error and now with my new router I’m able to play again

when will the Devs please look at this glitch. I’m not the only person and now even with cross play still having issues @Peanits please help

@Nos37 I can not speak for survivors camping gens when I play killer that usually helps me cause I know what gen they want really bad so I can focus on that gen and down the survivors. As a survivor it’s not wise to camp a gen if killer is right there for the very reason I just said cause that lets the killer know where to stay on you. I mean the main objective is to finish the gen in 2 minutes so there would be no point on imposing a penalty on the games main objective.

@Nyxsie so I would assume by your POV you are a tunneling killer? You have the freedom to play however you want just like I have the freedom to call you toxic. Now this is basically an assumption that you camp of tunnel do you not get more point if you make the match last longer going after the other players while you have one person on hook because when you make the game play go back and forth it does create a better experience. To also comment on the wait time when I SWF there are several reasons behind why we get nearly 20 min waits which are due to rank, internet as well as my friends and I notice when we play all night the waits get longer and longer. I think a penalty would be better because it will get the killer off of standing there as if afk and give the others more of a chase and altruism score because survivors lose points for not being able to save other survivors so is it not fair that the killer lose points for not even trying to engage in fair game play.

@wakyyyyyyyyyy I created this ticket cause they have a certain format they want you to use when reporting the bug so go back to the main page to report the bug and look for a post that say report using this template...
@Reapingbeauty did your friend do the same did they see the template to report a bug and create a post/ ticket? The Devs mention only looking at tickets in that format so I’m hoping they see mine since I have tried to post the way they asked.
@demyxthemenace Thank you for posting you ticket I hope the more people speak up the more the Devs realize this is effecting their monetary value on the game.

What will happen is I will boot up the game on my PS4 and join either a SWF or a KYF lobby. From there one of two things happens. The first and most common as of right now is we will be waiting in the waiting lobby, and out of nowhere I will get booted out of the lobby with an error message saying "an unknown error has occurred". The second thing that could happen is we will be able to play a game in the SWF or KYF, and after I hit continue after the tall screen, I will load back only to see that I am booted from the lobby with that same error message again. This is where the unplayable part comes into play. After i get that message, I would join the SWF or KYF again only for two things to take place only on my screen. the game wouldn't show people that are ready on my screen as ready, or my game won't even show everyone who is in the lobby even though they are there. This is the aspect that makes SWF or KYF unplayable. The only way I see a "fix" is by restarting the app, but it will only happen again even when doing that.
It doesn't matter what character I pick or what I look at while waiting, the bug still happens all the same. This bug happens every time I load into the game and play SWF or KYF and this has been happening ever since the 4th anniversary event went live on the 24th of June.
I will have a picture of the error message and videos of the error/bug happening below. I really hope this can be fixed because I really enjoy playing this game with my friends and this is basically making me play solo until a fix is put into play.

I’m having the same issue I just posted about it the other day. I didn’t have this issue till I upgraded my internet. I use to get the NAT is too strict message and now that I upgraded I don’t get that error anymore but now I also can’t SWF. I have been trying to get answers from Devs but still nothing. I would think now that I have better service I shouldn’t have game issues but I’m starting to think Hex may be on to something. Check out my bug and please vote up so Devs will see this is issue that many people are starting to have. Mine has been happening for 2 weeks now.

I happen to favor playing SWF over solo only for the pure fun of my friends and I are very competitive when playing together. Killers are toxic whether I’m SWF or Solo. Recently I have had a glitch that has made it impossible for me to play SWF. I played all day solo and what made the game frustrating is playing with noob randoms when I’m a higher rank then they are or just straight trash toxic killers. People like myself prefer to play SWF to avoid those 2 issues. I don’t think of it as easy mode or hard mode. SWF is just my groups way to cut down wait time for a match. Some days we can get matches like 2min flat but as solo of partial party it can seem like a lifetime before a match is available.
Ive also asked killers before why did you tunnel or ######### with a toxic kill. I’ve gotten answers like it’s your cosmetic or it’s just I don’t like Meg day. Never had a killer say oh I figured you were SWF so I was strategically trying to tunnel and take out your group. In fact there needs to be more penalties on killers for camping and tunnels. I hate waiting 15 mins to get into a match only to be tunneled to death in the first 5 minutes.
As I mentioned now I have a glitch that will no longer allow me to play SWF. If I enter a friends lobby it kicks me right before getting a match. Sometimes it won’t show me my friends ready up so can’t look for match. If I invite they are invisible in my lobby. Can’t custom KYF due to cant see who’s in lobby or it will kick multi people out. Both SWF and KYF keeps giving Unknown error message. Doesn’t matter what character I play or what perks I use keep trying and it’s just an epic fail can only play solo for last 2 weeks.
Not bragging I have all characters and I have just started to level them all up but now it feels like for what? If I can’t have fun playing with my friends it’s made me not even want to play the game. I bought my PS4 to play this game and it’s my main but if can’t SWF I may just leave the game altogether
