Names with explicit and kinky language should be allowed, however hurtful, racist, homophobic or xenophobic names should not be allowed.

Least favourite perk in the game, tied with NOED.
I love it when I mindgamed our outplayed a survivor at a vault or window, only to find out they were the ones who outplayed me by the simple press of a button, fixing their mistake in the process, that's bad perk design.
It's the biggest crutch in the game along with NOED.

That's not whataboutism. Your argument is just flawed
It is whataboutism, this thread is about undying, ruin and tinkerer, and you're bringing up DS and unbreakable, even though these perks have nothing in common

I can tell you’re a killer main.
He's not, he has stated multiple times that he's a survivor main that has played the game since release.

Not even close, he's limited, has low vision and can be buggy while also RNG dependant. That doesn't make him that hard to play overall but rather difficult to use due to limitations put on his power.
Nurse requires completely different approach to be even useable, killers like hag/trapper requires substantial extreme amount of map knowledge and knowledge of survivor pathing and leading them to correct areas of the map while juggling all of them. Huntress/Deathslinger require very high precision and timings and every second you're not shooting when you could you're basically not playing into their full potencial. All of these killers are far harder to play then blight.
He's not easy to play but he's also definetly not that hard to play either.
A fair analysis, but I don't know how he is RNG dependant, besides some maps being garbage for him (Lérys, the game, rotten fields etc).
I don't think hag requires that much map knowledge to play, since you are mostly trapping pallets, or using her camera swing traps.
Deathslinger is definitely difficult to play, and I can see the case being made for him, but not huntress, since she has gigantic hitboxes. Huntress has a higher skill cap, and you can do a lot with her power, but is pretty easy to play, unlike deathslinger who has a pistachio sized hitbox.

@GoodBoyKaru said:
Blight is only harder than Nurse because he's unplayable with the throwing up. Apart from that Nurse is harder and stronger in every way- Blight, without his power, can fall back on being a 115 killer with Mobility. Nurse can't do that.
Fair enough, he can still chase without his power, since he's a 115% movement speed killer, unlike nurse who has to use her power.
But I still think his power is a bit more difficult to use than nurses blinks.
-
@Todgeweiht said:
I still feel that his skill ceiling is too how for how little he offers. He is good if played at max potential but he cant reach the levels a spirit or a nurse can.
I don't think he needs to be as good as spirit or nurse, he is already a pretty high tier killer when played well, because of his amazing map pressure and chase.
-
@GoodLookinCookin said:
I personally find the blight to be on the same playstyle of nurse and spirit and to be difficult, but I think blight is the easiest to play out of the 3
Spirit doesn't really require much skill, nor does she have a very high skill cap, once you learn how to play basic m1 killer, you can play spirit well, since you know how to track using scratch marks and injured noises.

Thanks for your very constructive and informative response. Now come back when you actually have something to add to the discussion, and not your nonsense.

I agree with you on that but swf complaints are heavy and when I play solo it's hardto have fun.
I hate solo as well, that's why I basically never play it.
You don't need to worry, the devs won't nerf swf or add an opt-out, playing with friends should never be punished.

People can complain all yhegw ant about swf but solo is the most unbalanced thing in this game. Then people get mad when you want to run swf.
SWF isn't that broken in my opinion. It's the only way to have fun as survivor for me, and it is only OP if you are a 4 man optimal swf with all second chance perks, and OoO.
Most killers like to use swf as a scape goat.

It is my guilty pleasure perk. I run it on occasion. Even ignoring the fact that it is literally the most overpowered info perk in the game, since it's downside is negligible, the killer has absolutely no way of ever knowing if I am relaying the extreme information I have to my teammates. That alone is what makes it toxic, and is the reason I never blame a killer for tunneling me out of the game. Sure, my intentions may not be overly harmful, but they are by proxy because I am fully aware of how extremely uncomfortable a perk it is to go against.
It isn't the most overpowered info perk in the game, it's the most overpowered perk in the game period.

But not needed for the majority of the playerbase.
EGC: A killer standing on a hill watching the doors or pacing back and forth a short distance makes it impossible to open a door.
That seems like more of a door issue than a EGC issue, this has always been a problem.

To this day outside of I think 2 dropped internet DCs, I have never disconnected from a single match in DBD.
But getting Haddonfield offerings two times in a row while playing Blight and the first thing I see is OoO... That got me pretty close. I didn't do it because I don't want to start doing it for every little thing that doesn't go my way, but at some point I can see why so many do when there's no penalty. But don't do it at the start of the match on the first M1. I've seen plenty of survivors get hooked first and escape just fine. I know it feels like "I'm found the first time EVERY SINGLE MATCH" when you're playing solo queue sometimes, but that doesn't mean much by the end of the game.
I don't get how blight on Haddonfield could be that bad, since he counters the "hold w tech", which is why most players have that map.
-
Being able to consistently hit multiple lethal rushes, and shutting down loops with my blight. Also, if I won with 12 hooks, and I know the survivors had a pretty good time not being slugged, tunneled or camped, I would class that as a good game :).

Smaller maps, huge deadzones, less loopable tiles on the redesigned maps, toolboxes made worthless, self-care, balanced landing, less gen progression bonus for hitting a great skillcheck, EGC, nerf to gen progression when multiple survivors working on a gen, and so many more.
- Maps were very survivor sided back in the days, small maps were needed.
- Fair enough.
- Are you talking about badham? That map seems to be doing fine.
- Needed.
- Needed, it made infinites on certain maps, and had a passive effect which other exhaustion perks didn't have.
- Not needed.
- Needed, survivors were able to hold the game hostage, and had way too much time to make altruistic plays.
- Needed.

I really legitimately think Doctor teaches fresh killers a lot of bad habits and hinders their growth as a killer because they don't learn the fundamentals that are finding a survivor, knowing how to cut loops properly, but he is a fun character with neat cosmetics.
It's just...once you know where survivors spawn, how to run tiles etc you really don't need the Doctor's power. You can play Nurse or Huntress or even Trapper and get more of a result. You can really tell when a Doctor has molevision because good lord he struggles. He'll use his static shock, assume nobody's in the area when you're right on the edge of his terror radius and never looks around for survivors in the distance. Calm Spirit breaks those Doctors no matter what they run. They don't have the skillset to sniff you out manually.
I feel like demogorgon and billy are the best choice for a fresh killer, they teach a lot of good habits to the player. I agree with you, doctor is lots of fun to play sometimes, but I feel like you should learn the nuances of killer first.

Doctor is far from OP, however he's extremely annoying.
I am going to read out a comment from @Heartbound that perfectly explains why I hate the man.
"Well friend. Let me walk you through the day of a doctor main.
He's sitting down in his chair, ready to play some dead by daylight. Probably just finished watching three hours of stand up comedy. He sees the doctor, hears that loving laugh, and gets into queue.
That didn't take long, which is a shame because he was trying out so many of the doctor's cosmetics! Today he's wearing a suit, using a baseball bat and has absolutely no skin on his head this time. Because Doctor.
Now, where to find the survivors? Doctor doesn't need any game sense. He just pulses his magic circle and he's found someone!
Hooray! Now to begin the chase!
The survivor wants to throw down pallets and vault windows, but you're a doctor main. You know when to perfectly time your shocks. Sometimes Tier 3 Madness blocks the survivor for you! You never have to deal with pallet drops or loops or anything. The only skill you need is timing your shock correctly.
Wow, that was fun! No loops, always know where survivors are. Just press M2 at the right time and it's practically a single player game!
...through every laugh you realize the cold, hard reality. Every match is exactly the same. There's no PvP. You realize why nobody really plays Hag either, despite Hag and Doctor both being strong killers. Once you learn to time your shocks correctly, you realize there is no game. No counterplay, but now you're stuck.
You never learned how to find survivors and you never learned how to deal with loops. Your power did that for you. You can't play any other killer, or really even play Dead by Daylight at all. You're stuck playing Doctor, forever.
At least his laugh is good right?".-Heartbound.

Among us is literally a godsend to this earth, and you should play it right now.

@Sluzzy said:
Slugging isn't the problem, it is the devs fault for buffing killer too much indirectly through a series of unnecessary survivor nerfs alongside too many killer buffs. Look at Freddy and Doctor. Huntress has never been touched since she was released and look how much survivors have been nerfed since then.
Either play with friends or play ez mode killer if you don't like being slugged all the time.
What were these "unnecessary survivor nerfs"?

Or bring a map, detective hunch or small game and pouff no more totem and if you are scare to get spot by the aura reading part you have distortion for that. I know its hard to put OoO, DH, BT, DS, UB, SB, IW and adrenaline on the side but you have the option to combat aura reading and worst case you dont get spot by bbq
@Blueberry said:
Or you know give up 1 perk slot for small game and problem solved.
Having to give up a perk slot for something that the killer might not even use, because matches don't have a pre-determined outcome isn't a real counter.

I ask this question because the answer seems obvious, Killers right?
Well I had a game tonight where we were playing and another survivor found a key in a chest I guess and we'd finished enough generators for the hatch to appear. They found it made no effort to even signal to people where it was we're all playing to survive and finish the last 2 generators and bang they open the hatch and are out, kicking us into end game and getting us all killed, but who cares right? They got out; turns out they were a rank 4.
So yeah that was pretty damn annoying and scumbag move. I think if you're going to open the hatch like that there should be a way to tell exactly where it is.
Here's the thing I hate about keys as killer.
I can be doing very well, and have 2 people killed off with 2 gens left, I start pressuring the gens, but oh, the survivor has a key to get a 2 man escape, oh well.
It's the most annoying thing in the game, besides dead hard for distance for me, and the biggest "'######### you" to the killer.
While moris are more overpowered, at least I know I'm dead when I see that secret offering.
