Nice bait, what rank mate?

Devs
We need a whole new team on this game

@MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky i always thought it always had a sprint burst. Or was that tier specific?
yes it did, to be more specific, it only had that burst effect at tier 3, and before then, the way balanced Landing worked, is that through each tier, it just increase the percentage that decreases the staggered fall. But now it's just that you have a flat 75% decrease across all tier, and a burst effect for 3 seconds (before hand it was 2 seconds), and it only changes the exhaustion timer. It should have stayed like that, it should have only affect the staggered fall, it should not give any sort of burst, at least only make it last for like a second or two, 3 seconds is too much, survivors already have Perks like lith, Sprint burst, adrenaline.
-
All that balance Landing needs to be changed, is to not give the small Sprint burst effect, simply because it just doesn't make sense, you have already used your energy and muscles to ease your fall, how would you have enough energy and muscle to run afterwards? especially after a long fall? You see beforehand, when the nurse came out, all that balanced Landing did, was just reduced the stagger from falling and landing, but then they gave it the Sprint burst effect which was stupid, and it doesn't realistically makes sense.

Relax man this is obviously a bait. That person must be joking otherwise the devs should ban every killer that play the game.
I know its a bait, I have already seen his name around here before, that account has been deleted many times before, but I like to talk to people like him because its funny.

You're cute.
Like your Fellow Pig Main also stated.
An exploit, is an exploit. Survivors are abusing one, and killers are abusing the other.
I'm a Nurse main, I don't care about the Sprint Burst exploit it hasn't effected me at my Rank 6. I don't care, but stop acting like killers aren't having a field day with their side of the exploits.
Fellow pig main? k
Of course nurse and spirit are not gonna be greatly affected by it, but that does not mean other killers will have that same share, so I don't know why you brought that up.
An exploit (In video game terms) Is causing something to happen that normally doesn't happen and can do it on command, that is the SB exploit
A bug (Video game terms again) is where something in the code is causing something to normally not happen and can't be controlled because it just happens, that is the outline bug.
And also, most of the time, you don't even notice the outline bug when you play as killer as you are more focus on everything else.
Edit: also, the outline bug doesn't always happen, bugs are random, and they happen randomly, they are not always consistent of how they occur
-
@MaskedMurderer said:
You can control the Aura reading bug.
All killers have to do is STRAFE back and forth front a gen to another gen, or an active survivor who is hooked. Just because it's a passive ability doesn't mean killers aren't using it to their advantage.
You can't prove 100% who uses this Sprint Burst bug like you can't prove what killers abuses the Aura Reading bug. You're all acting like you're dying because of this bug. In m honest opinion, the Aura Reading bug is a lot more gamebreaking than Sprint Burst.
You're special, aren't you?
So if I just happen to walk to a generator and see the black aura, I just have to ignore it? Also what is your definition of control? And calling it a passive ability? What is the shape of your brain?
It is very easy to tell when someone is using the SB exploit because of how fast they trigger it, players who save it by letting the exhaustion timer run down right at one second, when they are in the middle of running and then try to use it, they stop for 1 second and then it goes, for players who uses the exploit, when they are running and then use it, it activates immediately and you see no stopping in their running, no pause.
I can ignore the SB exploit because I just have to not do the inputs to do it, but I can't ignore the black aura bug because it just happens, same thing how I can control the SB exploit and can't control the black aura bug because it just HAPPENS.
And so what you are saying is that, if im at a jungle gym, being looped by someone, and there happens to be a near by gen, im controlling it? Because I happen to place that gen right their?
And if someone is near or im chasing someone around a hook, I have to ignore it? and let them get the save?
And fyi, this bug only happens at certain distance you are from a gen or any other aura, so I can't simply just stand in the middle of the map and STRAFE back and fourth. Same thing with survivors, the bug only happens when a survivors model is a certain distants away from a gen or aura, and I can't force a survivor to be near a gen lmao, because they will just run somewhere else, I can't force the gen to be somewhere else.
If I was able to control the black aura bug, then I would be able (In theory) see survivors at any distance.
and if ANYTHING, its not even an aura, but more of an shadow or outline bug by the survivors model, and so you are saying that we should ban killers just because of an outline bug by the survivors model or auras that we can't control, and if a killer is going to a gen that is behind walls, the survivors ARE GONNA BE ON THE GEN, so what am I suppose to do? Leave and ignore?

Omg w0w exhaustion addons make me not use dead hard, balance landing etc
so op p1z nerf. k

@martin27 said:
That's my point the nurse is OP because survivors ...(insert any 1 of the bad decisions the survivors made here)
You get better by learning from your mistake not by keep making same mistakes and cry foul.
Ah okay, I was about say....(Well I already did but lul) but yeah, you are on the right.
-
@martin27 said:
Let me give you a run down of just how OP base kit nurse is from a match i had a couple of weeks ago as a base nurse. Playing as the nurse and came across survivors fix gen at basement shack. Downed survivor and hooked in basement, 5 seconds later the remaining 3 storm the basement. I injured all hook grabbed 1 and downed the hooked person again. One survivor leaves blood trail to lock i grab other goes for the unhooks, 1 goes down on the stairs as i'm taking locker person to hook. 2 people back on hook one hides behind a tree next to shack bleeding and moaning over the place and the other decides to try loop the shack. Down the loop person then down the person doing a really bad job of hiding, all 4 were purple ranks.
Im not sure if this is a joke or what, but do you not hear yourself?
So your saying nurse is "OP" because of the amount of bad plays the survivors made? Eight in total bad plays I would say.
-
"In the right hands, it can be powerful" quote
Nurse is not one of those killers that you can just pick up and be a god with it, she requires skills, which I guess survivors mains don't care about killer skills, not saying that you are one, just saying it in general. Yes only her addons need to be change, basekit is fine, she does have counter, its just not easy to pull it off, there are other counter to pull off, but its situational.
As I have said time and time, do what nurse players do, predict her movements and she does to you and don't make your movements so obvious to see for her.
A player first playing nurse it gonna be pretty noticeable to see as they don't fully understand her power, timing, reaction etc, and if they don't learn her, then you can guess how they will react to someone who is good or god with nurse, but if they learn nurse and how she works and how someones mind work when they play nurse, they get a better understanding of her and a better understanding to go against her, now of course if its a god nurse, then yeah, your gonna have big troubles, but its not saying that's impossible to survive against one, or at least survive long enough before you die.

Wow, such a "little" nerf

@MrsPiggyIsSoSneaky a child is defenseless, a gamer in a game is not. All he has to do is to beat the streamsniper in a series of games, and everyone will be happy. Especially crazed fanboys and girls.
So all someone has to do is just beat the stream sniper, and that magically makes all stream snipers stop? good logic, I like that. Happy endings

@ShrimpTwiggs I don't want to discuss this here, it'd turn into flames.
My point is, streamsniping is the streamers' problem. They should deal with it. Hey, isn't True one of the most shining example of a streamer who thinks of himself as a legend? I mean, even his name... Surely he could deal with a streamsniper, regardless of their unfair advantage?
Also I would love to know where he has ever said that he thinks himself as a "legend" and his name is not an excuse, but if you are gonna go with that, then your telling a lot about what you think is right to you, at most, he ever just says that he just has more common knowledge and better understanding of the game then most people, and as well he does acknowledge that other people have a better or same level of understanding as he does, but he never said that he considers himself a legend, so I don't know where you got that, also, he does have the fog whispers, so, that should tell you why he talks a lot about the games balance.
-
I feel like the regression should affect the progression of the gen as well, of course, slower progression or half speed of how fast the regression of the gas is.
-
"Omg the perk is too weak now, I just want to be able to get mettle of man without doing anything so I can take a free hit" is what im hearing from you. To be rewarded, you must take risks
-
Why make exhaustion perks way stronger than they already are? Do you want survivors to have a indefinite survival? Do you know how worse balanced Landing would be? Balanced Landing should have been the same when the nurse came out for the game, which only decreased the staggered fall, but for some reason they added a burst to it, which should have never been added in at all, and makes no sense. Sprint burst with give huge distance more often, dead Hard would fix survivors mistakes more often etc. You think it sounds good on paper, but when you actually start thinking of how that would execute in game and implemented, it's really not that great. And so, Killers who wants to eat pallets, so that they can get rid of pallets, or to gain their Spirit Fury, should benefit the survivors and then punish the killer afterwards? Sounds like to me you want a hard counter against Spirit Fury and enduring.

Press, press gets you killed because you aren’t clicking fast enough. Someone should die on the hook because their thumb hurts/gets tired? No.
If killers had a similar feature that ended the game for them if their thumb got tired/hurt would you feel the same?
I guess you hate game where you have to click a button repeatedly to live?
And im not saying that you should click every 1 seconds, im saying don't murder your mouse or key, if you want to click at the same rate, do it, just don't put brute force when pressing.

@Peanits said:
There's a few reasons.
1: How do you prove it?
Example: A streamer playing survivor accuses the killer of streamsniping because they keep getting spotted.
How do we prove that the killer is streamsniping? Unless the killer popped into their chat and literally told them that they're going to streamsnipe, you can't. And even then, anyone could pretend to be the killer to frame them. We don't want to ban someone just because a streamer claims that they're being sniped, that would be silly.
2: You are asking people to (where applicable).
Now this isn't always the case, but when you are plugging you stream in your name, you're actively inviting people to come watch you- that included the other side that can see your name. You can't ask them to come watch and then get mad at them for watching, that would be silly.
3: Being in the game with somebody is not bannable.
Being in the game with a streamer alone is not against the rules. There's nothing bad there. Now if you decide to use that to grief that person or harass them, then you're still subject to the same rules as everyone else. Streamsniping does not protect you from every other rule.
4: (This is the big one) It's out of our control.
We can only enforce what happens inside the game. We do not have logs of who's watching you on Twitch and a way to link that to their account in-game. It would be a total mess if we decided to ban for that and incredibly easy to frame someone.
Short version, we can't prove it, we don't want to falsely ban someone for it, when you invite people to watch you play the game you are choosing to run that risk, but they're still subject to the rest of the rules. If they're griefing you, report them for that, not for streamsniping.
But you should have replay logs of someones certain gameplay point of view? You know, like CSGO overwatch right? right?! All you have to do is sync up both gameplays and then match up what X does and how Y reacts to what X did.
It makes it worse though how you give your streamers fog whispers but don't care to enforce the rule of not stream sniping. You want your fog whispers to give good reports of your game and information on what needs to change? Then start taking care of your fog whispers, or get rid of your fog whisper system if your not gonna care for your streamers. Stream snipers make it hard for streamers to be able to fully experience a game or gather good data because it ruins it.

Nurse - Ignores everything the Survivors have and gives absolutely 0 ######### about your skill and how much experience you have. If you are a good Survivor with 5000 hours, your skill doesn't matter and it's all about the Nurse, if it's a good one, nobody cares you have experience. You are going to die no matter what.
Spirit - Same thing. If it's a good Spirit, your skill doesn't matter. Even if you were considered as the best Survivor in the game, you wouldn't be able to outplay a good Spirit, no matter how much you tried. Also, go to some streamers and ask them if they enjoy playing against her, go ahead. So many have already said she's the most annoying and unfun Killer to play against. It's a stupid guessing game and standing still is not an outplay.
BaLaNcEd KiLlErS bTw
Nurse- hmm I don't know...Maybe stop making your movements predictable and predict her movements?
Spirit- Hmm I remember their being a common sense about not running/go in the opposite/different direction when she is using her power...because you know......scratch marks are a thing, iron will is also a thing, spine chill is a thing, but everyone wants to use meta perks and not atleast try other useful (Somewhat) perks, but instead lets just complain.
-
All of you are something else.
So if you were on the hook and have to hold against one of the entities tentacles, you would get tired and eventuality let go or slip, that's what this mechanic does, if you start to get tired pressing your struggle button or slip, that's it.
And also, I don't know why you guys are mashing your key, lmao no wonder you guys are going though keyboards, not because of the game, but because of you. Its like you guys are told to play the piano softly, but instead you just smash the notes and blame it on being pressured.
Instead of going SMASHSMASHPRESSPRESSMSASHPRESPRESSPRESSSMASH
Just go Press, press, press, press, press

Uh no...

Everyone knows about this it’s not a big deal. They will eventually fix it. If anything that’s how sprint burst should be. What’s the point of sprint burst if you have to walk around until getting in a chase?
You do realize that if they put that as a feature, Sprint burst would be a stupidly overpowered perk? Right? Imagine how the loops would be, especially the infinites, I can only imagine how worse they would be... people like you, thinking that this is okay to put in as a future is a reason why half of this game is unbalanced

It is a glitch right now. Just to see if a theory is correct, what platform do you play on? Console or PC? My friend on PS4 noticed this last week. You can see a survivors black figure through walls when within a certain range if they are facing in the same direction as you. I have seen it once in my game as well.
Yes I am seeing it on the PS4

3.5 seconds is the best I can find to be alright
4 seconds is still a bit too long
3 seconds is a bit too fast
but 3.5 seconds gives just enough time for survivors to react and killer to catch up to a survivor and/or kick the gen

Proper translation: We have no plans to change him at the moment (as mentioned).
We take feedback from everyone, not just one side or the other. This is why there was a massive update during his PTB to address the killer side of the issues.
More Proper translation: Yet we had plans to change(Nerf) him right when he went live with our "Information"
Oh yeah you do take our feedbacks, its how you execute it is the problem and how you add and take things away that we didn't even ask for
-
1. If you don't get your job done and don't find the hatch first, that's on you
2. Wh- I don't even know what went through your mind to think of that one, all the survivors might as well just bring in a key and boom, every match you go in now we'll always just to be a loss for the Killer
3. So basically bringing back the problem that was supposed to be fixed with the EGC? And it doesn't become a mechanic to push out lingering survivors more like keep in the survivors instead, what?
4. What in the world is wrong with your brain? There is three problems with this, one is the already existing survivors bringing in keys and the amount of keys that spawn in chests with RNG, two killer can just camp the chest or patrol it, and three, it just guarantees the Survivor of getting a key and escaping
5. Reasonable, but what the devs have said about it, it sounds like it's not possible, and unless its a billy or nurse, you still can escape (especially if you want to be cheap and bring in a key or find one)
The EGC was meant to stop survivors from holding the game hostage, and it was meant to favor the killer, no way in shape or form that it was to favor the survivors at all, the only thing that favors the Survivor with the EGC is just how the timer slows down a little bit when someone is down or hooked. From the way you're putting your Solutions, and your arguments, you're making it sound like Survivor should have a guaranteed escape no matter what

It is definitely intentional, but it could also be a little lower without being completely unfair. I can't promise that it will be lower, though.
I wouldn't understate the effectiveness of the teleport, personally. Being able to hook someone, spot an aura with BBQ and then teleport across the entire map and instantly start a chase is pretty huge. Even if you do have to catch up, you're saving all the time you would have spent running over and they could very well have started running then as well.
Insta heals are pretty huge, adrenaline is pretty huge, infinite's are pretty huge, a loop that connects to another loop is pretty huge. And I'm surprised you don't consider Billy using his chainsaw to do the somewhat exact same thing isn't considered huge. So I'm just wondering, how is Freddy being able to teleport to a gen across the map in like, I don't know, three or four seconds "Pretty huge"? Time management is essential as a role of killer, yet you don't want to give that.
-
If it is then mmmmm, I can smell a broken survivor perk again
-
So your simply saying that SWF is balanced because there are more solo teams then SWF teams? ok, good logic

Then dead by daylight would completely be out of balance

Her addons are the only thing that needs changes, not nerfs, changes. Its kinda starting to get sad now of how all survivors now want the viable killers to be not viable anymore, first it was billy (But glad they didn't do anything to him), then Ghostface and now Spirit and nurse
-
So because you have people in your team who can't hit simple skill checks, ruin is consider a clutch? Okay.....Perfect logic
-
Oh you have supported the devs, no denying that, but you have supported them with money so they can do more things in their way

As long as ds users are able switch obsession, killer obsession perk are almost useless.
With the way I have it, people having DS to switch obsession its deadly to them
-
Level 1- 1 tokens
level 2- 2 tokens
level 3- 3 tokens
For every time you hook the obsession, you gain a token, each token decreases all action speed for all survivors by 5%, base plenty starting at 10%, increasing with each token, lose a token for every two hooks other then the obsession, when the obsession is killed or sacrifice, you cannot gain anymore tokens.
simple, promotes less tunnel, fair and does not give survivor any sort of advantage (Which it should have been like that in the first place, killer perks are killer perks, survivor perks are survivor perks, not half killer half survivor perk)
-
Thinking about this again
No one complained about spirit at all after her release when she got the buff she needed, it was all about Legion, Plague and GhostFace now, nothing at all about spirit
But now after the fact that sounds are somewhat fix, people are complaining now...its like...spirit not being able to hear was "fair' but now that we can hear more clearly, she is now consider "OP"....
-
People who want spirit to be change are the people who don't want another viable killer cause of how good she is or that don't know how to play against her. With sounds somewhat fix, she is way better then before and people don't like how good she is because they don't know how to counter her or don't even bother to come up with a counter
You have ears, use them
Stop running if she is coming at you in her power or run backwards and that's common sense for her
don't waste a pallet if you don't know if she is using her power or not and/or don't stick around a loop

We have ears

Please, we don't need spirit to be touch again by BHVR, nothing is OP about her

It will take 50mins after killers get devs to remove SWF.
necessarily, SWF does not need to be removed, it just needs a huge change to it, and to my understanding, getting rid of SWF would not affect cue times at all as you would still have the same amount of people playing as survivor, but just as solo now, of course if people quit cause of that, then that's on them. If anything, having everyone play solo would loosen up the clutter of matchmaking because of the mess that SWF can do (ranks and all that)
