Yeah true, I just think BHVR would do a great job on reviving Slenderman and doing him justice....mostly because of what Sony did. For a Slenderman film, it does not feature the main character not even for 10 minutes total.
Also would be cool to see him officially be added to the "Hall of Horrors".
also since this is getting attention still, I might as well share a Slender Menu screen I made a while back.

Yeah true but to be fair Slenderman is far superior then rest of the Creepypasta's since it had a real cultural impact and had a crap ton of video games which include the official Slender the Arrival.
Also since can't really get IP's everyone wants currently like Jason and Pennywise for reasons would be neat to have Slenderman so it can make the game pretty entertaining and bring in more revenue/players until we can get the main IP's we want.
Last thing is Slenderman is the only Creepypasta character that is worth having ingame and even then he never started as a creepypasta so he was more of a Internet Legend until people began having crossover stories with other Creepypasta characters. What would be funny is if they did make a chapter, They made Skins for the original killers based on Creepypasta characters like Jeff the killer/Proxy for Legion.

Main reason I love Slenderman, in lot of the stories he is considered a Urban legend which is why most people explore places that has sightings of him. They don't expect him to be real which results them in being killed because of curiosity.

Pyramid head and Freddy.
Mostly since addons are more situational or do hardly anything. The ones that actually are good is the ones that increase the power.
Would say Ghostface but seems his addons are being reworked in a better way.

I am wondering what are they gonna do with the "No touch people" that Cote talked about in a year old stream since we now have Pinhead and Ringu so it is possible now game mechanic wise but also since Slenderman is shown to have some Psychic-like powers.
[Edit] Also, I still find it funny how in the Slender teaser in the Pennywise concept the Team thought no one would instantly guess Slenderman. Black and white forest with a Static camera hub is just to iconic not to think Slenderman.

If the horse was part of the power, I would make it mostly for mobility. Have it turn like Hillbilly but it has no collision sorta like nurse. Lasts only for a little bit so can't abuse it. While riding Daredevil you go through walls and obstacles which leaves an ash decal just for atheistic looks.
Pumpkin/Fireball would be the main power since that recharges pretty quick. Normal m1 would be the 1 handed weapon.
He freaks out everyone, how can you look into the face of death if it does not have one.

Pretty much just add a Jack o lantern as default and have other special heads like a Knight helmet and a Skull. He won't really be Headless anymore so would call him "The Phantom" since it's pretty fitting with his background.

Indeed, reason I would say it would have to be a 2nd power with mix of Nurse/Hillbilly for that 2nd. No collision but has turn issues. Though takes a bit to mount on and hop off to prevent any spamming or unfair quick downs.
Flaming Pumpkin or Fire ball would sorta be like huntress but there is no ammo reload and creates a area hazard if it misses the target.

Like your thinking but most likely it will be a modern time survivor. I would say he is related to the Crane family tree or is somehow connected. His main job in life would be a history teacher or a Librarian so it fits with The Headless Horseman's introduction.

Really hope so since if the tweets BHVR were making that people kept spamming saying is fnaf and it was actually was teasing fnaf.....I am gonna be very sad.
The way Scott teased stuff was pretty fun back in the day so if the newspapers were supposed to be Fnaf then its disappointing.
I just hope for a nice throwback puzzle that does hint Springtrap but not so freaking obvious.

Deathslinger is very evil. He fantasized about using his engineering skills to kill people even when he was kid and shot a man with a railroad spike driver.
As for a headless horseman, I don't feel strongly one way or the other, but if I remember that story correctly the horseman was just a fraud right? I feel like he suffers from being a horror villain that I saw too much of in my childhood. Books, cartoons, movies. Like I think he's been in Scooby Doo content twice between the OG series and A Pup Named Scooby Doo. So he just kinda feels generic in a weird way, he never really had that spark for me, but I don't dislike him.
Ik but Deathslinger mostly did bounties unless you cross him like the Warden did and when you compare him to other killers he is more Lawful chaotic.
In the OG story we never know if it was Brom who dressed up as the horseman or not. It is bit generic but so is Mr Hyde who we got ingame who is called The Blight.
Harmful/Violent ghosts usually become like that if they die in violent ways like a cannonball to the head or died in battle so it is quite possible that The Headless Horseman was real. People usually see him an a non horror character until they realize he actually chops the heads of people which is shown in the Johnny deep film which is the best adaptation of the book besides the TV show that modernize the story.

True but think should just make the Headless Horseman had a pumpkin head for the blind hitbox.
Cool name ideas would be "The Rider" or more evil name "The Apocalypse" as a reference to the 4 horsemen.
Though the Phantom would be neat and since we most likely won't get Phantom of the opera as a killer lol. Also makes more sense.

I will be happy if its Fnaf/Springtrap.
One reason is that I always wanted to see how he is implemented ingame.
Other reason is both sides can stop going back and forth. Also we can then move forward and try get other major IP's without people thinking its Fnaf and causing a war for boths sides.

I want Fnaf to be teased similar to Pinhead but more expansive and tedious puzzle so it keeps us guessing like how Scott did with the Hangman puzzle and other game features.

Though I do find it funny and very happy that the new reboot of the series kicked and basically banned the creator from ever working on the reboot and future films. Would love to see the creator's face finding out he is not involved or getting a penny from the reboot.
Also based on new trailer it's gonna be a lot better than that creator could have ever accomplished with his scummy life.

Top Hat Blight outfit
I love the outfit to death but I hate how it has no jaw. Not really bothered by the no jaw but at certain angles the tongue hangs out which looks too goofy for me.
If they used the Aristocrat head or a headpiece with a normal-ish jaw and place the Top hat on it then I would be very happy. Would even buy the head again if I had to.

The thing with Chucky is that he can use his powers, Charles used the power of Damballa to get inside the Good Guy Doll, and in the movies and new series, we saw what he can do, i won't spoil for those who haven't watched.
The thing is i just don't see how..You can think outside if the box, but he does so little things that it's almost impossible, because he kills you, or jump scares you. You can give him something to do with cameras but what besides that? What's he going to do with it? Because in that game you are in one room closing the doors, in DBD we don't have that.. Would that be accurate and true to the character then?
You make lot of good points. Also putting people in suits would just be a bad power.
Main reason I brought up Pyramid head was that in the games he does not have the trails but here he does so think the Entity would do something to William to make him powerful which I would guess would be Stealth and Chaser type.
Has a power to hide him unless survivors are activaly paying attention to their surroundings and once Springtrap reveals himself he goes in chase which ends quickly depending on if the Survivor was ready for him.
This is main issue with Indie horror characters like Springtrap and Slenderman. They are only known to jumpscare you and nothing really else. The Devs most likely will have to give them both a power they never used in any game but said power will fit perfectly with their respective roles in the games since they make sure it will not mock their origins.
Springtrap's power would fit him what ever they create since Scott or whoever owns him now will closely oversee the process to make sure the functions and mechanics will fit Springtrap's/William's lore
Here is a concept how he could work ingame.....though not a fan of the phantom look since I prefer him not to change looks with powers and the lunge is a tad bit OP.

He is still supernatual so I would expect him to do something with it and maybe use Fazbear Fright books as inspiration. Books are not canon but Scott says parts in the books are meant to fill in some mysteries in lore and a lot of parts are not in any of the games that involve supernatural/murder.

I really don't know the story about that game, i bring it up because the guy literally compared him to Freddy, which he can't hold a candle to, that's how more legendary and iconic Freddy is. I am saying Springtrap's power could somehow revolve around Fnaf 3 Mechanics or Lore wise which not gonna explain since tedious as hell. Plus he is supernatual robot so maybe the Entity could do something "Agony" that's keeping him alive. Agony, in short are strong emotions but that are negative like hate/anger/pain which if something like an object is near or on a person when they die, their soul is trapped within the said object.
Basically it's like if Charles instead of using voodoo was filled with these powerful emotions and died next to the doll which resulted him into being Chucky.
Also they could use inspiration from games like TJOC since that fan game is free roam and some interesting mechanics but also because Scott is actually working with the creator of said Fan game in the Fazeverse or whatever its bloody called.
Overall I think Fnaf could happen but they need to think outside of the box like Pyramid head with his trails. Would be tedious to do the research but could lead to a fruitful result if done correctly
Lastly, I am very happy that you are just concerned about what would the power be rather than the other generic stuff people spit out all the time lol since can't have a killer if he does not have a power.

To be fair, people have been using the game mechanics as a reference to his power such at teleporting, stalking, Jumpscare [Hag/Myers], tracking, and illusions. Well only if your refering to Springtrap.
Besides William Afton/Springtrap being the main antagonist, he is human serial killer in the franchise. Why I bring this up is because the animatronics in the series don't wanna kill you but just stuff you in a suit....which kills you. William is not a real animatronic and he actually wants to kill you so he is gonna find ways to do that.
Overall I want to see Springtrap and Slenderman in the game because the Devs will have to be super creative and research the game's functions/mechanics so they will fit perfectly in the realm which will not be an easy task but the effort will be worth it.

I used to be able to play the game with anyone including EU people.
Though now I have to play people within my timezone because lag is so terrible that even if they are close to my zone I lag like crazy. Not my internet since it has been the same for 3 years. I can't even play with people from EU or other side of USA or I get super high ping and crash. Now I am actually forced to do a SWF with certain people because half the time, Randos are not even close to my zone and it's unbearable to play with the horrid lag.
Other day I was playing with a friend in Duo SWF with 2 randos. Game got so much lag as the game went on that when I got unhooked, I went to a survivor to get healed who I saw was running of. I was being healed by invisible survivor then I somehow got downed. Turns out I never moved from the hook and the killer downed me then killed me. I ran for a total of 1 minute away from the hook just to be killed by the game. Also depending on who is in the match I get potato graphics and I mean potato. Looks like an unfinished beta game that had plastic textures.
I have 16gb of ram and that did not even fix it, other games run fine but DBD does not. Since 2021 game has been running worse each passing day but after the ringu chapter it's like gambling for a match where I do not get screwed up by lag.
Overall I am fine with what ever changes Devs do since it's their game but can I atleast be able to play without having to buy a new PC?
[Edit] Also game freezes for few seconds which make lot of situations I am in result me getting downed. I complete a gen, the game freezes and killer gets a free hit/down. I flashbang the killer or have flashmine near me, the killer gets a free hit/down.

I hope it's Fnaf or Slenderman. I loved playing the indie horror games and jumping out of my seat back in High School. Both designs and background fits perfectly with in Dead by Daylight.
I know it's not gonna be either but those are the 2 IPs I always wanted to see in-game and seeing one of them in an Anniversary Chapter would be a dream come true
Also the Tweets are unrelated to Fnaf because tweets match similar ones from a year ago and.....has not been 2 weeks since Ringu so why would they start teasing now.

Fnaf is pretty good but Slenderman is older and deserves some redemption after all the crap that happened to him. The Map would be amazing, power most likely a Stealth killer that would make survivors nervous all the time, most unique power in the game based on the Slender Arrivial game. Possible skins for original killers making references to Creepypastas that were popular back in the day.
Sadly most likely never happened since he is overshadowed by almost every Horror IP that people want ingame.
Another thing is the person who owns Slenderman was actually discovered and actually responded to a content creator so if BHVR wanted Slenderman it could be done quite easily.....I mean contacting the owner that is.
Lastly I just think he fits perfectly in DBD's theme. A being that is like a HP Lovecraft being that plays cat and mouse with people trying to escape him. I can also see him being tied to the Entity in some way or just showing up in the realm like Pinhead.
Overall I do agree with you but most likely we will never see Slenderman in game unless some Hype train pops up.

I am a fnaf fan and I am getting tired of seeing this all the time.

Now its like a lose/lose situation since if we don't have Fnaf people will keep spamming it and if we get Fnaf people will spam "Told ya!"

Not gonna lie, I always wanted to play as Billy. Not an Amanda costume but I mean the actual puppet.
Lifesize and worn down. Sorta as a mockery to Kramer. Using him as a tool to kill rather than Kramer's plan of making people grateful of life.
Replaces the pig noises with Billy's laugh. Make it a Legendary skin and I would buy it.
Never really liked Amanda but always loved my boi Billy.

Can we just cut down on Fnaf posts?
I want fnaf in DBD but there has been atleast 10 posts within couple days.
Just wait after mid-chapter is released since RIngu hype is still happening.

Slenderman from Slender the Arrival. I like how the story was done and the atmosphere felt very unnerving.
No other ones besides Fnaf come to mind besides Evil within but never played the game although the main killer looks interesting.
Just to throw in here, an original killer I would love is the Headless Horseman. Similar to Sleepy Hollow TV show or Johnny deep version

Rarely anyone uses him in the media anymore and makes me said since I loved The Legend of Sleepy Hollow book.

Hell, right in the article they say Chucky wouldn't work because it's too much a comedy but they would totally get Scooby Doo if they could. Because you know, that's much more horror related then Chucky lol.

Overall only thing Scooby do related we prob ever get is a charm or a halloween outfit with a reference. Like tbh would you wanna see a childhood cartoon from Hannah Barbara be slaughtered with mori's?
Banana Splits does not count since they only did that knock off because of the left over Fnaf stuff they had before Scott decided to move with Blum house.

Scooby Doo was also on official survey, as were about 50 other franchises from a variety of genres.
Which BHVR also tried to get but Warner studios turned them down.

There is also a Fog Whisperer that said he'd boycott the chapter if FNAF came to DBD.
Well either way, its up to BHVR and no official statement has been given and was on the official survey so Fnaf can still happen.
If a lot of fans want it and it's something BHVR mentioned/acknowledge, then it's still possible

Having 1 killer won't make a difference in the game. 27 other killers so highly likely you won't face him all the time unless its S-Tier.
Unless devs say otherwise FNAF has a chance and due to popularity it will come at some point

Most likely you don't like characters that are overused by content creators cause of "Cringe". Before was Fnaf for kids and now it's about that.
Unlike Jeepers Creepers, Devs never gave an official statement saying no to the chapter so that means [Drumroll] It has a chance.

FNAF isn't happening for a few reasons.
eh, at this point is gonna happen at some point ever since the hype with Hellraiser. Heck, it was on the official DBD survey so devs are aware of it.
Literally Steve in Smash Scenario. If you like it or not, it's bound to come ingame at some point.
