pwyf increases movement speed by 5%. idk how the game does percents, but if we assume 4 is 400% then you'd get .2 increase to movement. if 4 is 100% then you'd get .05. Max of 3 tokens. tokens are lost when you basic attack or special attack. so if she teleports and misses she's losing tokens. if she doesn't teleport then she's sacrificing her entire killer power for movement speed that puts her on par with a powerless and itemless meyers stuck at level 1.
if you're going to do a meme build like that might as well get some bloodpoints out of it 🤷🏻♂️
personally i dont see any reason to use movement perks on nurse when you're better off using aura perks and exposed perks.
It's 5% based off 4.0 m/s. Most killers move 115% base speed (4.6m/s) or 110% (4.4m/s). Nurse is 96.25% (3.85m/s) so 1 token PWYF would be 101.25% (4.05m/s).

No no, it's dead. The forum told me so when it was changed.

Bots know if a hatchet is going to hit them or not, even at very long distances.
Try throwing a hatchet slightly away from them and they won't flitch. Throw at them and they jet 90 degree the moment it leaves your hand.

FOMO implies some future value to which these cosmetics have none. The term is mostly used with investing where the invester fears losing out on future growth. Recently, crypto would make a good example of this. Now where people's arguments fall apart in our little past time, is these cosmetics will return. They are not exclusive to the now. But to bolster their argument they push the idea that these cosmetics will never be available again or will be more expensive when they do. Baseless claim designed to invoke anger and resentment which to me seems to be the goal.
The fact of the matter is, these cosmetics are available now and will be in the future. There's no fear in missing out on a damn mummy costume. There isn't a second hand market for this crap you could go and get rich off of. This isn't CS:GO.
Also if you can't afford a digital item in a game that has zero value, you shouldn't be buying it to begin with. Remember that when this game eventually dies, you will lose everything purchased in it.

2023 and people are still bewildered by map makers.

Considering a lot of perks are trash, I doubt 3k hours is needed to get 4 good perks. Even if you have to get them from 4 different characters. Hell I had every character at P3 with the old system with that many hours.

Take todays survivors with 2016 DBD and you get 100% escape rate.

Predict what happens after they nerf slowdown perks.

I can only take that anybody still complaining about DH doesn't want survivor perks to have any utility.
-
Same ideas keep getting recycled.
-
Most make the mistake of buying into "perks are held back because of Nurse" arguments. Those were made to get her nerfed not strengthen other killers.
-
Killer can bypass this system by slugging all survivors.
The better survivors play, the more they have to suffer M1 simulator.

The point in doing well is pipping instead of getting 0 pips.
For me getting 0 pips is enough and more fair penalty for having a bad game, specially for solo-q players.
"Because solo player"
Stop please, if your team sucks you should be getting plenty of unhooks. The only grade that is difficult to pip on is Iri. Losing a pip isn't the end of the world and is a healthy progess system. Zero consequence to giving up on a match is not.

Mandy has said it numerous times and also described grades as an "incentive." Grades suck as an incentive, though, because I have literally stopped playing for weeks at a time because I was one pip away from the next grade and I didn't want to risk losing pips. Even though you can't pip down a grade, the idea of getting further away from the next reward level stresses me out too much. I don't need stress from a game, I'll play something else that doesn't penalize me for having a bad, frustrating time that's often out of my control. Bad enough the matches where I de-pip are often miserable, de-pipping on top of that just makes it so much worse.
Trying to pip up as killer on Switch is the freaking worst. If I manage to get enough pips in a row to be one pip away, that's a miracle in itself. I don't know if I've ever even reached Silver for killer on Switch.
She said many times that grades are not for matchmaking. Which is true. The reason why you cannot depip down a grade is because of that.
The problem is that plays are complaining that theu depip within a grade. If you didn't depip then what is the point in doing well? If the match starts off bad for a player they would be more inclined to not try anymore if no risk.
While little, the risk of depipping should remain or the whole system removed entirely.
-
You will get tunnel regardless of the number above your head.
Logically, a killer should focus out the lower numbers if the belief is presitge = skill.
-
Anything that takes away the freedom to make a decision would take away the basis of the game. But with that freedom you will get those that make the "bad" choices or in some view the path of least resistance. Better match making could solve the issue but that would require longer queue times for the top end with the risk of facing the same people over and over. Reminiscent of the old rank resets where the top ranks are thin for a week.
Not to mention any mechanical intervention would be immediately abused, similar to the previous DS.
-
Because the communty's interpretation of a game mechanic does not mean it is how the Devs see it.
Grades are check points towards a goal. Without the ability to fail what would be the point of them?
-
That didn't last long.

I think people are overreacting about it. Holding w against nurse can be viable given that the fatigue addons got nerfed and range/recharge no longer exists. So if you just hold W against nurse you would encounter this addons effects rarely. Its an addon you have to play around which some people really don't like doing.
Survivors that don't know what they are doing hold W anyways.

If you half commit to chases long enough, you eventually deadzone the area around your 3 gen. At which point getting a down takes maybe 20-30 seconds if you full commit.
If they fully commit and survivors don't pre run away from the 3 gens. As long as you pressure two gens, most killers cannot deal with it.
-
Now that a Prestige level can be done with a million BP, I wait until I have a least that before leveling any character.
-
Last I checked, eruption requires the killer to down a survivor to activate. One of the biggest complants I've seen is with three gens. How is the killer spending time chasing a survivor through two health states while the other three can complete a gen from 0 in 50 seconds?
Besides a few killers that can passively injure survivors, maybe stop being greedy and run away when the killer starts coming your way. Have the killer juggle gens 1 and 3 without getting any hits.
-
Why not wait until after the match to look them up? Do you play differently if they are live or not?
-
Billy is "fun" because he's rare. Back when he wasn't survivors did nothing but complain about him.

Ya go ahead and teach every solo que person that real quick I’ll wait.
I have just last weekend. Against a Pig who tried a three gen from the very start on Azarov's Resting Place. The team did exactly what I described without any coordination.
-
Three gens can be easily broken. If a killer goal from the start is to protect three gens. They never chase far from them or risk losing one.
Two survivors on gen 1 and two on gen 3. When the killer comes near, run away from the three gen area. Don't allow them space to hit you. The killer has to abandon chase or risk the other two survivors completing the other gen. This is in the survivors favor as two survivors can repair a gen faster than the killer can regress. Just don't be greedy.
Eruption doesn't matter because they don't commit to chases. CoB doesn't matter because you should jump back on the gen when the killer heads towards the other survivor pair.

Any perk that causes Undetectable or Blindness.

My point is, which you keep missing for some reason, is that MOST killers add ons just boost their abilities, they don't give them a new ability (i.e. a perk). My point is, that this negatively impacts the game if survivors are not aware of said add ons existing that result in automatic wins for killer. Feel free to read my points in the thread which support this. If you still think it's good for the game, then agree to disagree.
Its not the first killer to get a lesser verson of a perk as an addon. Nurse has an addon that could give her Nurse's calling for example. What you see with the knight is something baked into other killers powers without using an addon.
Twins, Victor blocks you from leaving.
Mastermind, slaming a survivor against the exit threshold prevents them from leaving.
Pig,active Trap prevents you from leaving.
So, I see your point. Why does the knight have an addon like this? It should be basekit.

Nah it's not a "basic" part of the game, it's an add on that only the Knight has.
It just takes two brain cells to understand my point. That's like a guy who's been playing basketball for 10 years, and then the league introduces a brand new rule where you can get a 4 point shot, that only people who pay to learn it will know it, and he loses the game because of that. Only way he's gonna know about that rule is if he paid for it or if he negatively gets impacted by it (i.e. loses due to it).
Nothin else, not game knowledge, it isn't knowing where the gates are, which gens to prioritize protecting, what trails to loop killers on, nah it's "basic" understanding, it's hidden knowledge that only people who bought that character will know about, or who, as mentioned, lose to his dogshit ability at least once to learn about it., which is a participation trophy, losing not due to skill or in game knowledge, but becasue having an add on, is a participation trophy add on.
The addon system is a basic feature of the game. Every killer has unique addons that change how their power works. Should you know how all of them work? No. But when you get screwed over by one of them you remember the next time.

Everybody posting here today has the opportunity to buy these cosmetics.
So making the argument that some new player will see this outfit after they stop selling is going to be so upset, is absured.
FOMO? We crypto traders now? They will be back next year. You are not missing out on anything worth crying over.

If you don't know about a basic part of the game then you will get surprised by a lot more things than this.
