The issue with addon arguments is people really don't know what they are talking about. They instead repeat whatever popular streamers are saying.
For example, when Omega blink was the hot term, I constantly hear survivors (ttv players) saying I was running it. I don't run addons.

BHVR I trust you .. don't ruin it ..
Trust misplace
If Nemesis is to be changed it would of already happened. The release build for next week should of already been sent in for validation.
-
Could you wait a few more days?
-
It was good
It was abused
-
Should be base and given a different effect.
Monitor would go from the current default FoV to new normal (+15%) FoV.
-
🤣🤣🤣
-
Telltale does not have the license rights to The Walking Dead anymore. Even if they did, BHVR would have to negotiate with Skybound, the IP owner.
-
How dare you play to win.
-
Its not unfair. Get over it.
-
Sorry but 200hrs is nothing for this game, even if the grind were reduced to a third.
For a long running game like this expect 1k hours min.
-
They know what they did.
-
Look hard enough and you can find complaints about every killer.

Really? So they changed it to merciless? Interesting. Did they say why?
It wasn't changed to merciless but the requirement for merciless changed. It used to be kill all four for merciless killer. Then the victory cube changed everything.
-
Time ago it was kill all four survivors.
-
Leaving the Match and crashing give different penalties. So the game is able to tell the difference between the two.
-
It does.
Leaving the game through the menu: -1 pip.
Crashing or getting kicked due to Steam issues: -2 pips.
Clearly they have separate routines.
-
I don't stereotype any survivor.
Except for Meg. She's a nasty mouth breather.
-
Hit them.
A bunch of injured survivors could lead to a snowball.
-
Also make her screen black so she can't see.
-
Hide and wait type plays.
Not effective outside camping.
-
Basement hooks are your best bet.
-
It's not the Spirit, it could of been anything.
This is just two egos colliding.
-
It's a bug.
-
Nothing wrong with it.
-
Best counter to NOED is to die before end game.

I was just making a silly joke, but ok.
I know, but people start taking it as fact and after awhile use it when calling for nerfs.

Rank merely reflects the player population. You can be a average killer/survivor and make it to the top ranks.
MMR is the fix the Devs are working on.
-
getting?
-
Against a good nurse though, none of that will really matter. You might as well just let her kill you lol.
I'm getting really sick of seeing this. You can run even a good Nurse. Just takes some awareness and tactics.
-
How quickly we forget.
Before the last MMR test people were saying it was secretly on and the Devs are lying to us. Then they actualy turned it on and it was a noticeable change. Now we are back with conspiracy theories again.

I’m not missing it. I’ve never been missing it. The issue isn’t how it is being done, it is how it is phrased in the description. Honestly don’t know why almost none of you can see that, you just keep re-explaining things that aren’t even the point of my thread.
Not everything needs to be spelled out for you. Both perks modify the same mechanic. In game you can hear your grunts of pain with both strider and IW in play. It doesn't take much more to come to the conclusion that IW's 100% isn't an overall modifier.
It seems you are more upset it doesn't work the way you want it to than accepting the way it does.
-
I hook everyone once and then slug them all. The ones that don't DC I let wiggle off my shoulder and pick the others up.
😈
They get the point after that or hide somewhere in fear.

You’re just repeating what others have posted ad nauseum. And you are still doing the math wrong. You’re saying Iron Will “removes 100”, NOT “removes 100%”
Its removing 100% of the base value.
What you are missing is each buff and debuff are evaluated separately based on the same base value not the result of another.
-
Devs do not perform buffs and debuffs in sequence. This is to avoid two modifers from over buffing or over debuffing an action. The reason being issues with addon modifiers in the past. Everthing is based on the default value and then added together.
Say noise of pain is 100. That is the base value.
Iron Will removes 100%.
100 * -1 = -100
Strider adds 50%.
100 * 0.5 = 50
All buffs and debuffs are combined.
100 + (-100 + 50) = 50
Ending value is 50.
-
So you down a survivor and another is within clear view. Are you saying to ignore that survivor and pick up the slug?
-
Is the question does Nurse need a recharge mechanic? Then no, she doesn't.
-
You are not wrong

Hit validation would overrule certain hits of laggy killers because it would come to the conclusion that the survivor at that point was too far away from the killer to be hit; it would take the actual survivor position at that time into consideration as opposed to the killer client which can only do hit detection based on the latency-delayed positions on their end. If hit validation simply looked at what happened on the killer's screen it would not be hit validation and would make no sense.
And the killer can do what about it? Hit the air somewhere infront of the survivor?

There are dedicated servers now so not everything is done on the killer player's machine anymore, but the hit system is indeed still entirely working on the killer client-side of things, ridiculously enough. The killer client runs hit detection and if they register a hit on their end, the server accepts it unconditionally. This means any latency in either players' connection benefits the killer on hits, since the more latency there is between a killer and survivor, the further in the past that survivor will be on the killer's client, meaning the more ridiculous the hits they can land on them. I have faced and watched enough killers with connections in the 100-250ms range, and they hit the most ridiculous things consistently, and they never have any of their hits overruled by the server. In fact, I have never seen even just a single instance of an overruled hit anywhere (except hatchets which I have to believe are a special case). So yeah, while they say they have enabled server-side hit validation (at high killer pings), that hit validation either is not enabled until killer pings get ridiculously high (300+ms), or it doesn't function altogether.
Because where the killer is swinging is where the survivor is on their screen. Hit validationis taking what tick the clients are on, finding the positions and validating thats where the playets were.
-
There's only so much that can be done. Both you and the killer are playing against past versions of the other players. The actions you take have to go to the server and replicate out to all other players. These time delays at each point add up and in some cases cannot be overcome.
-
How history repeats.

The saw makes quite a lot of noise though
For Bubba the chainsaw rev doesn't make any noise when undetectable. Idk if this is true for Billy or even if its a bug with Bubba.
-
Tbag them back, Ghostface.
-
Don't be sad. Nostalgia doesn't always reflect reality.
-
I would say yes but Deathslinger exists.
The lullaby is there because Huntress was the first range killer. The Devs didn't know how she could affect game balance so they made a 40m directional lullaby to warn survivors. The directional part was later removed.

Usually their game name is their twitch so like:
DBDKillerPro.TTV would be www.twitch.tv/DBDKillerPro (Not a real streamer that I know of...just something I made up LOL)
Oh look, its a real streamer.
