I like the idea of this thing but it being so far behind the head is really weird.
-
The common theory is that it was a Konami decision and while i'm not dismissing that theory, it's certainly not going to be exclusive to licensed content. As an upcoming Nea outfit is going to be a set: https://www.leaksbydaylight.com/pyramidhead-endgamecollapse-anniversary/
So expect this to become a somewhat common thing. Thank goodness we got bunny Feng before this feature existed.
-
I feel like she'll end up getting some more skins down the line and this will be one of them.
-
I'm willing to accept this as canon. Redo the cutscene and replace James with Dwight.
-
It's only meant to happen on the Silent Hill map. I was in a match with 2 friends and out of the 3 of us, only 1 heard it.
-
I liked them at first because they were new but I quickly grew tired of them and genuinely forget they exist frequently, even though I always have them equipped.
-
It's clearly not consistent as i've been playing Pyramid Head and still have the old useless start to the grab animation that abruptly ends and the survivor continues to vault with no issue at all.
-
I can't see Konami giving the DbD devs the okay to reduce the price. At most all that will actually happen is that future legendaries will be ever so slightly cheaper. Even then, I highly doubt anything will change because once you give this enough time people will no longer be complaining about it.
-
I've experienced this as a survivor where i'm close to the edge of it, while seeing the thing right under me, and it misses. Chalked it up to latency but I wouldn't be surprised if the hitbox of that attack was wonky.

I get the idea that survivors should probably be made aware that the killer is roaming while Undetectable, but there's a very simple way to make it work with this idea in mind: instead of making the killer Undetectable, have all survivors become Oblivious and remove the aura.
It's the same idea, survivors still become aware that the killer could come from anywhere at any moment, but now they know that they won't hear the terror radius or see the red stain.
The first reply has already suggested the perfect change. Nice job.

I was excited for legendary cosmetics but if this is going to be the price for all of them I won't be buying any. I'll rarely buy an outfit for 1,080AC but, to me at least, the fact that they can be mixed with whatever other cosmetics I have makes them more valuable. Now i'm not saying I expected that for Lisa at all, I just feel like lacking a feature like that should really bump the price down.
-
There's no doubt in my mind that this is going to be the price point for all legendary skins and quite frankly it's an absurd price.

Yeah some maps are more pitch toned for some reason, Badham is purple-ish for some reason and Haddonfield is blue.
This is disappointing as I was kinda considering getting that outfit.
-
Have you tried this on multiple maps to be sure it isn't a lighting issue?
-
I feel like it's his walking animation being slow that makes it appear that he is faster because your mind will feel like he should be slow.
-
Gotta say I never even noticed the earring when I played Silent Hill 1 like 2 weeks ago. That is certainly an odd thing for the devs to miss out on when you see the attention to detail they put in the map and whatnot.
-
I imagine the decision was down to Konami.
-
Yeah but the mini-mori is if you're already on death hook. So all it really does it save a bit of time and counter things like DS. It's not a big enough deal to make him OP.

I assume it is the same with PH or the Legion legendary cosmetics? If so then that SUCKS!
I AWAYS mix/match my outfits to make something custom. And PH could look rather decent with a prestige or default head with the corrupted body. But if you can't mix/match, then I see almost zero point in paying for legendary cosmetics. The entire point of cosmetics is to make your own look!
With this update they added a new icon to cosmetics that are considered a set. Anything with the icon on the top left of their display in the store can not be mixed with anything else. A set is all of it or none of it.
-
She has some torso options but outside of that everything else is a set, so can't be mixed.
-
Yeah the price is kind of absurd to be honest. I was looking forward to legendary outfits too.
You can't mix legendary skins as they count as a set, along with some other new cosmetics that arrived today.

Is the lore any different at least?
Not sure but the legendary outfit had a description that talks about Lisa a tiny bit.

Is Lisa really a unique survivor? Because in the trailer her face looked almost the same as Cheryls
She certainly looks different enough. She also has different lobby animation than Cheryl but seems to have the same voice.

In what world does 'Lava' sound like the name of a chapter. This isn't the first time the placeholder name has popped up in the live version.
Clearly it's hinting at a new game mode "The floor is lava" and it's gonna be epic.
-
That legendary pricing has immediately turned me away from wanting them. Crikey.
-
Probably just a placeholder name like how they've previously used locations like Haiti, England and whatever else.

There will be a Charm for buying the DLC.
To add to this I believe it's going to be the seal of Metatron.

Attack range, others seem pretty pointless in terms of usefulness... id personally rather add-ons that added mangled etc. on tormented survivors, all these add-ons seem lack luster so im likely to just go by the cheapest option or range, doing so will allow me to get every perk much faster anyway. from the ptb he looked like a strong killer that wasnt so add-on dependent which is a nice change, i would of liked his iri add-on that mutes his terror radius while he walks on the trails to mute his terror radius when dragging, that would of made for an interesting playstyle and removes the camping potential.
Bloody hell your idea for the iri add-on is great!

P3 first
Definitely what him blood coated since cosmetics will be both limited and longwaiting. If not expensive
Well I don't know if Pyramid Head will be getting something but there will be cosmetics in the store at the release of the chapter and original cosmetics are also being created for the chapter.
"Dead by Daylight is also adding typical cosmetics for Pyramid Head and Heather Mason into the store on the day the new chapter releases, but with a more extensive scope. Richard said it has been hard to add cosmetics for licensed characters like Freddy Krueger because they have a specific "look," but the Silent Hill characters will get original, unique outfits designed in-house by Behaviour through its partnership with Konami."

you are this old too? Remember that we couldnt even kick gens on this pre-historical age
The old days when putting gens at 99% was common and for some reason also removed the aura for the killer. Then when the exits were powered people would work on the other gens for more points. Bloody strange time.
-
When I started playing this game I really didn't expect it to go anywhere near as far as it has. It's genuinely impressive and i'm glad i've been part of it since the final beta test.
Happy birthday DbD!
-
Seeing as they are characters, just not as fleshed out as the regular ones, i'd say it's highly likely we'll have avatars of them.
-
Does anyone remember that time way back when they mentioned a "Leatherface Cube" and then it was never mentioned again?
-
In almost all cases being able to use Deliverance as the last person isn't going to help you in the slightest. The amount of times it would end up being useful is nowhere near enough to warrant changing it.
-
It would be a little weird if they were rewriting the lore for some characters but I wouldn't care even if that ended up as the case. Whatever sexuality they choose to make their characters, it doesn't harm anyone. Unless they're an idiot.
-
It's weird when people get cocky when they've done nothing even close to great.
-
It's nothing more than a recolour of her default jacket. You really aren't missing out on anything great at all with the characters from Kate onward in terms of exclusives.
I'm not certain but I believe old characters, for example Feng, will have an entire unique outfit as their exclusive for buying the chapter as a whole. Because survivors typically released with 2 full outfits back then.
-
It's the first thing i'm aiming for. Then I want to get Cheryl to P3.
-
What would even be the point of that? Only the person with it would see it so it's not like people with the original versions can somehow flex.
-
I see no reason not to.
-
Only the devs know how it's all gonna work out right now.
-
I feel like the biggest factor of Pop becoming meta was the nerf of Ruin. Many people stopped using it and wanted an alternative. The timer increase to Pop certainly was a nice change but I feel like it did little in terms of pushing people to use it.
-
I don't mind the things in the store but i'm not a fan of the charms. It was cool to start collecting them when they were new to me but, regardless of which side i'm playing, I barely remember they exist. Even when i'm using them.
-
I'd like it if it was reduced some more. Maybe introduce the potential to get multiple perks in a single bloodweb earlier than it currently is.
-
The BP boost is too hard for me to pass up. I run it literally all the time. I'll probably get far less use out of it with Pyramid Head but it should still end up being worth using.
-
So you want the killer hit range to go completely around them? I feel like you just need to learn how to handle 360s better to be honest.
-
Hot damn, this is brilliant.
-
For survivors I can't see it being anything other than lobby animations and possibly the campfire animation (for the main menu)
Killer legendary animations will probably be walking animations and attack animations. Stuff like that plus I guess lobby/menu animation too.
-
I don't care how it works as long as they stick to the idea of it being different for each killer you play. Separate killer ranks would be pretty nice.
-
I wanted it to stick around the first time and I really hope they do so this time.
