The killer made me bleed out all because they couldn't get their 4th BBQ stack. In other words, the killer decided to punish me because one of the other survivors denied them a BBQ stack. I was playing solo btw.
-
You ladies couldn't handle all that thiccness.
-
Usually, nodding or giving the killer your item is the proper way to thank them.
-
For me, the map I'm playing on is very important. I can handle certain killers better depending on the map.
Generally speaking, I would say the hardest killer for me to play against is Spirit. If you aren't using Iron Will, I have no idea how you're supposed to juke them. Might be better if the devs removed Spirit's ability to see grass moving.
I used to do poorly against Huntress, but I've gotten a lot better at handling Huntress.

Even though I'm a sweaty killer main, I never really gave a ######### about moris.
I prefer games where you have to hook survivors three times. Just more fun and interactive imo. And of course, it's more balanced.
So if the devs changed the mori requirement from one hook to two hooks, then that would be fine by me because I didn't use moris much anyway😊
Also, I like @ASpazNamedSteve idea of making Cypress mori a base mechanic.
-
I think Wraith's invisibility is fine as it is now personally.
-
I don't think we're going to see a fundamental change to Nurse's power.
At the most, the devs will rework her add ons. That's about it.
-
This is why I hate playing survivor. Low experience teammates that have almost zero map knowledge.
I actually believe you when you said it takes 15 mins to find Ruin. Even at rank 1, I have games where Ruin is never found.
-
From my experience as a survivor, GF has no problem exposing survivors.
-
Too much grind is not good (and coincidentally, DbD has too much grind).
-
Yes.
-
Typically, a viable killer is able to end chases quickly.
Ending chases is crucial in terms of having better control of the match.
-
I would consider myself a Nurse main, but as of lately, I've been doing killer rotation.
-
I somewhat agree with the sentiment that it's used by unskilled killers.
But it really depends on the context.
Did the killer get matched with an obnoxious SWF team that abused everything at their disposal? If so, then I think those survivors deserve to get hammered with NOED.
Did the killer get matched with solo survivors, all of whom just happen to play well that game? Then no, I don't think NOED should come into play there.

As far as I know, the hit box for hatchets is rather generous.
Also, Jeff definitely needs to be quieted down some. I believe they made him quieter after the PTB, but it still wasn't enough.
-
If I'm being brutally honest, I would not buy this game on console.
DbD on console is simply inferior to DbD on PC. Not trying to be rude or anything, but the level of play is much higher on PC.
Since you're accustomed to playing on PC, I highly doubt you will find the console version fulfilling.
That's just my two cents. And I've played on console before, so I know what I'm talking about.

Beware of cowboy hat Jake!

It varies quite a bit. But there are two perks I almost always use: Dead Hard & Borrowed Time
DH is my exhaustion perk of choice, and BT is used to combat camping.
As for the others:
I enjoy Quick&Quiet combined with Head On. A lot of fun shenanigans can be had with those perks.
DS is also one that I use. Pretty much a crutch perk that lets you get away with being reckless.
Kindred is nice because my teammates are usually quite boosted.
Iron Will is good for juking (especially against Spirit and Nurse).
Adrenaline (no explanation needed)
That's about it. I use other perks from time to time, but these are the ones I like to use the most.
-
Think I'll start camping more now :)
-
Overpowered add ons have no place in this game.
-
I'm all for more blood points (no matter which side gets the boost).
This game is was too much of a grind right now.
-
So basically you'll recover without having to do anything?
Eh, seems like it might be an alright change.
-
Aside from DbD, I've played some For Honor. A pretty good game despite the rocky start.
Other than that, I do really enjoy building games. Right now, I have a project i'm working on in Cities Skylines (need to get back to work lol).
-
I honestly have no idea lol.
Perhaps my 100% hook accuracy with Roadhog during an overwatch match. I remember feeling proud after that game.
-
I'll go ahead and tell you the most important tip: Learn to look over your shoulder while being chased.
-
There are two things that really annoy me:
- Bad teammates (which is very common even at rank 1)
- Cheaters/Lag switchers/Laggy killers.
-
Internet.
-
Yeah, I do it relatively often. If the match was pretty chill, I don't mind letting the last one go.
-
Probably killing everyone with Devour Hope.
-
Ruin is only a problem because matchmaking is a joke.
Even though I play survivor at rank 1, there are still plenty of games where Ruin is never found. I finally discovered that this is because a lot of us are getting matched with boosted teammates. People with relatively few hours of play time (I know this because I started checking profiles).
These players don't know the map layout, so they pretty much can't find Ruin. Which unfortunately means the match is going to be a drag.
Again, it's just another issue that can be attributed to matchmaking.
-
I play on PC and even I don't have these exclusives lol.
-
There is no simple solution because the community is incredibly divided over this topic.
-
@fluffymareep Like I said, it's quite rare for a killer to camp/tunnel for the sole purpose of ruining the match.
Also, survivors do have ways to improve communication. Kindred and Bond for example. And yet survivors keep saying "solo survivors have no way to communicate".
You see, I don't think it's a good idea to give survivors extra information for free. Because that opens up a whole can of worms in terms of balance. Part of the reason survivor is fun has to do with the uncertainty factor. As a good survivor, you need to be able to make smart decisions. But unfortunately, the player pool is filled with low experience people. And that's why survivor sucks to play right now. Devs need to figure out a better way of separating players.
-
To be fair, it can be pretty hard to stealth on some of the maps (blood lodge for ex).
But yeah, survivors are quick to dismiss stealth as an option. While it has become weaker over time, stealth can still be turned to as a form of recourse.
-
I find most of the screams pretty funny tbh.
-
None. All three are very annoying.
Jeff and Laurie are the way to go.
-
BT exists for a reason.
Also, what level of tunneling are we talking about here? Because DS is a perk you know.
Now if you're talking about focusing on one survivor the entire match, then yeah, that sucks. But that's very rare.
As for crappy teammates, yeah, I agree there. Devs still haven't implemented a good matchmaking system yet.
-
As far as I know; Enduring, Spirit Fury, BBQ, and Whispers is the still the way to go.
-
The new Freddy looked pretty interesting to me. Of course, we need to test it ourselves to know for sure.
-
Welcome to the club.
-
Yes.
-
Play as: Nurse. I find her extremely powerful but also very rewarding.
Play against: Doc. I feel like his shock power is rather interactive honestly.
-
It's really not that bad. I've even been having a bit of success with Trapper lately.
-
Bring ol' reliable (aka the nurse).
-
Yes. Considering this is my main game, I will usually buy all the dlc content.
-
I don't think Huntress needed any buffs, but whatever.
-
Are you guys saying you don't like trucker Billy? Shame.
Also, the torso part of his rabbit hunting skin is really good too.
-
Do you play on PC?
Because the majority of high rank killers on PC use Ruin.
-
You'll understand when you go up against survivors with 1000s of hours.
They tend to be very efficient with their looping, which means conserving pallets and winning mind games.
Not to mention, they can usually pump through gens very fast. Don't even count on Ruin, because mostly it will be gone within 30-40 seconds.
-
"you have devs attention when it comes to balance"
Are you sure about that?
