@Mr_K :)
-
It would definitely be interesting. Maybe we'll see something similar to that in the future.
-
Some people genuinely do not like playing Nurse. And that's okay.
-
I wish the devs would add a section to the forums for memes.
-
I won't lie, some of those mods look amazing with ray tracing.
But for the most part, I prefer Fallout 4 and Cities Skylines.
-
Jeff and I share the same first name, so he's a natural pick for me.
-
Head On + Quick & Quiet is where it's at :)
-
What you're proposing seems too strong.
Besides, I think Bamboozle is in a good spot already.
-
I do.
Something about his power feels interactive to me.
-
I'm going to get a lot of hate from my fellow killer mains, but...
Solo survivor is the hardest, then killer, then SWF.
If the player pool wasn't filled with so many boosted survivors, then I would say killer is the hardest. But considering it's basically impossible to get all the gens done with a boosted team, solo survivor is the hardest.
At least with killer I can play Nurse and clean house.
-
I think most people agree that some of her add ons are BS.
Also, apparently Spirit can see grass/corn moving but survivors cannot.
I would be open to changing it so that neither the Spirit or survivors can see grass moving.
-
Seems alright to me.
-
Depends on the killer.
If you're an M1 killer, Enduring and Spirit Fury are staples.
If you're a top tier killer, then tracking perks become more valuable.
-
I feel like PGTW really shines when you have generators close to each other. So in the late game, it does become a bit more potent.
Over all though, I still think Ruin is superior.
-
I would like for the game to be balanced around high ranks, but I seriously doubt that will ever happen.
-
These are all excellent suggestions. Glad to see the community manager sharing this with the dev team.
-
The wait times are quite bad, yes. Which is why I'm mostly playing survivor atm.
-
I'm a bit more partial to Pig. Decent killer who is one of the least stressful to play.
-
Looping is very powerful when done by experienced survivors.
Many of the killers simply lack the power to effectively combat looping.
In short, most killers will get dunked on by good survivors.
-
Yes, it didn't really feel like an event at all.
-
I'm not a fan of how DbD is managed, but for me, the fun factor of the game outweighs the cons.
-
Not sure tbh. Maybe Kate?
A lot of decent survivors enjoy playing Kate.
-
Laurie is the prettiest survivor imo. Which is why I almost always give Laurie players the hatch :)
-
Dead Hard, DS, Adrenaline, Sprint Burst, Borrowed Time, Object of Obsession, Balanced Landing (on some maps), Deliverance, and Unbreakable.
-
I think the one thing that really hurts this game is the devs' refusal to fix the core problems.
Instead, we get band aid fix after band aid fix.
-
Most killers struggle in high ranks, that's nothing new.
But it doesn't mean you can't play lower tier killers in high ranks. For the most part, you can do reasonably well with most killers provided you play optimally.
-
The PC players will destroy the console players. I can't imagine console players having any fun with a situation like that.
-
It's because there are a large number of boosted players that contaminate the player pool.
-
@se05239 You're totally right.
I wasn't thinking clearly.
-
Head On is one of my favorite survivor perks (when it actually works).
I would say make these changes to Head On:
- increase the stun to 4 or 5 seconds (because since you are stationary, a longer stun time is needed)
- make the stun take effect as soon as you pop out of the locker (this could be too strong, so it should be tested first)
- and of course, the perk should not be buggy. If the killer is within a certain radius of the locker, then the stun should happen every time without fail.
-
I would say shorten the timer to around 30 seconds, but if you get chased within that time frame, the timer extends longer.

@Mister_Holdout I’m actually only using BBQ rn with no add ons and it still doesn’t really challenge me.
That may be your experience, but I've met some really good survivors.
They know how to play, and you aren't likely to steam roll them.
I've also seen what the depip squad has done to killers (especially Nurse), and it ain't a pretty sight.
-
I would swap Surveillance for Sloppy Butcher (good anti healing perk).
NC is pretty good on Spirit. But you can use Surveillance or Discordance if you like.
-
Here's a thought.
How about we nerf none of these killers, and instead improve map design as well as tone down their overpowered add ons?
Because even with map design the way it is, most of these killers can be reliably beaten.
Nurse is tricky because she does teeter on the edge of being overpowered. In which case, all you need to do is make stealth more powerful on the maps that need it.
-
Yeah, I started noticing that.
I would say if you were just unhooked, then perhaps the skill check should override the hooking animation.
But if 20-30 seconds or more have passed, then tough luck.
-
This is one area where I do not expect much action from the devs.
SWFs are a large part of the community, and I don't see them penalizing such groups (even tho they absolutely need it).
-
They announced there would be bans for anyone abusing the Legion bug, so it makes sense that they would do the same here.
We'll see how it goes.
The devs can detect when you use a particular perk all of a sudden. Something to think about.

Adrenaline would be fine if it had a hard counter. NOED is the only thing that keeps Adrenaline from being OP by being a soft counter.

It does have a counter. Kill them all before the gens are completed.

As a Jeff main, I know the feel.

After Ghost Face gets tweaked in the upcoming patch, he'll be in a pretty good spot imo.
-
I would say Nurse and Billy can play reliably without it.
Huntress can as well to some degree.
Spirit and Hag could also potentially play without it.
The rest of the killer should have Ruin equipped tho.
-
They are a tad overpriced imo, but what can you do? The devs are unlikely to change the pricing.
-
For the most part, I think Adrenaline is fine.
Part of the reason killers hate it is because good survivors tend to use the perk. And I'm sure we've all had games where four adrenalines activated all at once lol.
-
@Leatherbilly My friend, those add ons sound bloody amazing. I can just imagine all the fun I would have playing Leatherface.
Amazing ideas😉
-
I think Legion is pretty decent tbh. Not top tier, but decent.
-
I think we both know this will not happen for a long time.
Devs have not shown much interest in fixing the SWF problem.

SWF isn't cheating. Stop acting like every SWF is a god tier super organized squad. Those particular squads you speak of, I ######### on them, every time I play them. The only thing ruining your games is your inability to accept that you need to get better.
Wow, you must be so good.
-
Probably not, I have other killers to prestige.
-
This was very informative, thank you Leatherbilly.
Honestly, the devs should just put you in charge of reworking Leatherface. Such an iconic killer deserves to be viable in red ranks.
-
A casual mode would be awesome, but I wouldn't hold my breath.
