I don't know anything about Resident Evil.
Doom Eternal looks pretty sweet.
-
Don't stick around for end game chat.
-
It's a poorly designed perk and the devs are unwilling to change it.
-
You should have just asked why do killer mains care about game balance.
And my answer would be every player should care about balance.
-
Remove the cool down for now.
-
My team was playing against a very good Billy. And when a team mate of mine rescued me from the hook, the Billy came zooming back.
So in oder to protect my teammate, I used BT to body block for him.
Mr. Billy was not pleased and proceeded to tunnel me after that.
-
You need to understand that the devs have no intention of fixing the core issues with the game.
If they did, they would have done so by now.
-
If the devs haven't done anything for over three and a half years, I doubt they ever will.
-
Marth and his sqaud recorded hundreds of games and posted the results on YouTube.
I'm afraid one match won't change many minds.

You need kindred though, if you don't, a lot of potato teammates will leave you until 2nd stage.
Pretty sure I made this comment before the kindred buff lol.

In my experience, it only takes two survivors grouped together to really turn up the heat on the killer.
Three and four man groups can be even worse.
But in fairness, not all SWF teams are sweaty. I've met some that were pretty chill.
It really just depends on your luck.
But when you do get matched against a sweaty team, the core issues with DbD become very apparent.
-
You still have BT and We'll Make It.
Also, learn not to go down so easily.
-
Survivors can win on pretty much all the maps if they play optimally.
With certain killers, it could be quite hard for the survivors to win.
On the other hand, many killers get absolutely destroyed on certain maps.
Pretty good job so far.
-
Killer with good chase potential = nerf.
It never fails.
-
You're wondering if the devs will do the right thing and stop gen rushing?
-
It's called entitlement.
-
DbD just has a toxic player base. It has always been that way.
-
I'm not going to complain about NOED anymore after what the devs did to Ruin.
-
Don't expect smart balance decisions from the devs.
You'll be disappointed every time.
-
If the killer is good, it can be hard to counter slugging.
You see this a lot with god tier Billies or Huntresses.
They down one survivor and then chase a nearby survivor. If the killer quickly downs two survivors that slows the game to a crawl because it forces the other two survivors to act. Now the survivors have to make up for lost time.
-
The devs are biased against killers based on their actions.

How is it unfun? It’s literally not possible for you to not find anyone as a killer unless you have zero awareness. Are you saying you don’t find anyone and they slam all 5? Not likely. Stop complaining. If anything it should be faster. Thanatophobia, Ruin, aura perks, Mori, they literally give killers all kinds of stuff to disrupt GameFlow and that’s still a complaint? Idk about these 4 man SWFs but playing solo is not really viable because killers have it too easy to find people. Hiding spots are knee high. Adam francis’ fro sticks out so everyone can see it. Every survivor has nothing but highlighter clothes. How is this possible? How is it possible 5 gens fly by you without you getting anyone? Do you HAVE to get all 4 every single match ? As a solo survivor it’s practically unplayable so people get mad when survivors survive huh? 😂
The issue isn't survivors hiding lol.
The issue is experienced survivors abusing map design, perks, and SWF to make the killer's life miserable.
It's not hard to comprehend.
Killers are at a big disadvantage against optimal survivors. And lousy solo survivors who muddy the waters make it more difficult to understand what needs to be balanced.
Add on top of that incompetent devs that don't understand the complexities of red ranks.
-
Gen rush is a lot more unfun and way more common imo.
-
The survivors could have done better.
But against good survivors, killers are much more constrained in how well they can perform.
-
High tier survivors know the layout of every map like the back of their hand.
They play with a M&K which gives them extra precision.
Not only that, but they can even play mind games to increase chase time.
Normally, I don't have a problem with mind games. But the maps are too unbalanced at this point.
-
I'm not too upset over the devs nerfing her add ons to hell considering some of them made Nurse too powerful. But then they nerfed her basekit which was just an insult to Nurse players.
So yeah, the devs wanted to take care of the Nurse problem in red ranks.
-
Technically yes.
DbD was the first multiplayer game I started playing on PC. And DbD helped me get accustomed to M&K.
-
I just enjoy the killer role.
However, I've barely been playing because it seems pretty clear to me that the devs are ruining this game.
-
Nerfing gen speed would hurt survivors though.
And we can't have that now, can we?

You need to be playing at 100% Resolution and 1080P settings.
Yep, that's what I did months ago.
Now I've gotten used to 100% instead of 125% lol.
-
Ah yes.
Why do killer mains only concern themselves with optimal survivors and not casual survivors (who muddy the waters when it comes to balance).
-
Everything you just said will not matter against optimal survivors.
Some of us actually care whether or not a killer can handle optimal survivors.
-
Nicely done.
-
Depending on the map and the skill of the player, one survivor can 1v1 a killer for a pretty long time.
-
That would be a bad idea.
PS4 players are going to get stomped by PC players.
(not trying to be rude, that's just my honest opinion based on experience)
-
Survivors feel empowered by the recent balance changes.
-
Huntress does instant damage with her hatchets.
I think the reeling mechanic is fair.
-
🤣He got nothing!
classic devs
-
Sounds like a special dev feature.
😉
-
The devs aren't very receptive to killer buffs/survivor nerfs.
That's just how it is.
-
GF is simply a buggy killer.
-
This should not be surprising.
The devs have a history of being biased.
-
This is what happens when survivors feel empowered by the devs.
-
The devs aren't even trying to hide their bias anymore.
-
We aren't wearing tin foil hates.
The devs have a track record.
-
If you like FPS games, then I would check out Diabotical.
It was created by quake veterans to be very similar to old quake.
Probably the most skilled based shooter right now with a decent player base.
-
I can sympathize.
Let me know if you want some recommendations for a different game.
-
This is what happens when survivors feel empowered by the devs.
They act out.

Sorry, have you seen how many negative threads there are on the forums on a daily basis?
Depends on what you mean by negative.
If these threads are about how poorly the devs balance the game, then that's fair game. The devs need to be made aware of their terrible decisions.
But if you mean personal attacks or something similar, then yeah, those aren't acceptable.

You can keep pretending that you people don't do this 24/7 on the forum, whatever makes you feel better.
Some of us do hold the devs accountable. I was stating more people should hold them accountable.
