I think if anything killers need a nerf :(
you guys get your 4Ks way too easy in my opinion due to laggy unfair hits and piss poor map design on some maps. You’re gonna get somebody every game. Idk why that means game over for that guy though 😰 that kinda pisses me off as a consumer. If it’s easy for you to catch people they should be giving you more chances. None of this Mori crap. Some killers just catch you off guard or cut the corner tighter than you 😂 I mean.... as if camping hooks wasn’t bad enough they throw in Mori so you should probably just DC you know? Like that’s really how some people feel. Idk what there is to complain about on killer side THAT often. Some killers are just better than others at map control. Others just benefit more on certain maps. But I don’t think you should be complaining about a perk nerf 😂 Ruin isn’t really fair either. Otherwise you’re essentially allowed to gen patrol hard and they just can never get done. Especially with the toolbox nerf. You got thanatophobia out there, all these other perks that sync with it..... ehhh. I think a nerf is the least of your worries

I'm done and just burned out by the game due to how the recent patches were basically a cluster ######### of crap.
I played 60% killer, and 40% survivor, and the recent patches essentially made the killer role exponentially harder to play, while making survivor somewhat of a breeze to play. The two worst patches was the utter disaster of the nurse nerf, and the ruin nerf. These two patches are the patches that killed the game for me.
The nurse was a killer that needed an add on rework, but not on the base kit. The basekit was balanced were the time you put in to learn and master the nurse, rewarded you equally. Now the Nurse is the opposite were the time and effort needed to learn and master doesn't equal the reward, where the reward is low. There was a ton of feedback from the ptb, yet they weren't even listened to, and decided to release the nurse in the most unfun way possible. The Nurse is an unfun and boring killer to play now, and when playing the survivor, playing against the reworked nurse feels boring, instead of exciting from the old nurse. Essentially this patch, really deteriorated the compassion for this game.
The Ruin nerf was the breaking point for me, where gen times were a problem, and ruin helped mitigate that problem for an opportunity to play fair (aka no tunneling, camping, slugging, or unfun add ons, unless I'm facing a 3 to 4 man SWF bully squad, then all fair play is off the table.). Also the fact that Ruin got nerfed because of new players, and apparently players who can't hit skillchecks (seriously if you are at red ranks and can't hit great skill checks, you shouldn't be there). The Ruin nerf made red ranks a sweat feast for killers against optimal survivors, and SWF, and a breeze as a survivor with optimal red rank teammates. The dev stream after the nerf, just added fuel to fire, when they said to expect to "Lose 3 gens in the early game". The ruin nerf just made about 80% of the killers unviable at red ranks.
The fact that you have survivors having a lot of second chance perks that cover up any mistake a survivor makes. Especially with the Unbreakable + DS combo where you are untouchable for a straight minute and don't get punished. I've been hit by DS at times where I don't even tunnel, in which I just down survivors too fast because they are potatoes.
Lets also mention how toxic some players can be and just attempt to bully you when attempting to have fun at the game. This game has the worst toxicity on a level I haven't seen before, especially from survivors. The amount of butthurt some players get just by being outplayed and the amount of spam they attempt to flood you with by just playing in a way someone doesn't like. I've been DDOSed by a survivor just because I slugged them.
The last thing that just annoys me is how the rate of survivor bugs get rapidly fixed compared to killer bugs. Survivor bugs like the DS bug, and the Basement bug got relatively fixed in a week or two, compared to the killer sound bugs, which have been going on for at least 3-6 months. We had bugs on the nurse, which made her unplayable there for months but still not fixed, but a DS bug can be fixed in at most two weeks? I'm sensing a pattern here.
I said in some previous posts that after I spent all my ebony and ivory moris on killers, I would quit after ruin was nerfed, and today is the day. I gave the Devs one last chance, and so far they shown me that a 2.5 sec sabo is fair, the toolbox "nerfed" ended up making toolboxes essentially mini-BNPs, and releasing a killer who is arguably worse than clown, despite the amount of feedback.
Currently, I'm find games like Minecraft, War Thunder, COD, and Plague Inc Evolved a lot more fun and enjoyable, and actually rewards you for putting in the time and effort to learn.
I'll still lurk around the forums, and watch youtube vids of DBD, and might come back if the game changes for the better, but for now I'm gonna spend my time and money on games that don't favor one side of the spectrum, and has a better community.
TL:DR: Burnt out from the game due to how crap the recent patches are, and how certain patches essentially deteriorated the game for me, and essentially killed it.
i honestly don’t think they could give killers much more without making it frustrating on the survivor side too. The reason for your anger and frustration is probably because you run into survivor teams with communication? I mean.... from a solo survivors perspective I don’t often make it out as much as I want to. I don’t think ruin is anything but a crutch. Killers already have a crap ton of abilities and advantages dude. Survivors wanna survive too and 90% of the time I’m seeing my team get slaughtered solo. How’s that fun for me? Idk ######### you’re experiencing. But I see red and purple rank survivors on my team as well. It must be doable
-
eh, idk if I’m excited about this game anymore. I’m glad killers keep getting buffs and OP items to put in every slot. But survivors have to work hard to use their brand new part 😂
-
That’s just insane killers need all that stuff. I get it... “get gud “ Right? No... they literally get to cheat on their objectives and survivors can’t 🤣
-
How is it fair killers get ultra rare add ons and ultra rare offerings that can literally prevent someone from playing your game?

Now I personally don't mind noed on killers like trapper, nurse, hag, plague, ect. But when it comes to killers who can put you in exposed or one-shot like Leatherface, Hillbilly, Ghostface, ect. it makes me kinda annoyed. This isn't me being a angry survivor because I discussed this with two of my friends, one of which is a killer main, the second being both survivor and killer main, and they agreed.
Friend #1 said, "Leatherface and Hillbilly's chainsaw are instadown, and Ghostface's stalk is broken to where even if you look at him while he stalks you, you can't knock him out of stalk in certain points. It is actually makes them a bit more overpowered, unless you come across a Leatherface/Hillbilly that doesn't use their chainsaw, or a Ghostface that doesn't stalk for whatever reason."
Friend #2 said, "For just Leatherface, he has his chainsaw attack where he swings it around in a fit of rage. This attack allows him to take down multiple survivors at once. When paired with NOED, it's pretty overpowered. For the other two, I don't have much of an opinion for."
What are y'alls opinion on this? I think if people who play killer a lot agree with this, that kinda says something.
Outstanding. An actual comment not crying about being a killer? 🤯 my mind is blown. Killers are OP as hell. One shots and Mori’s are OP because we can’t one shot or Mori a gen in return can we? Nah. Gen speed just got nerfed due to toolboxes and plenty of killer buffs. If I see anymore I might just stop playing as a solo survivor. I’m also asking for refunds from Microsoft for the micro transactions 😂 fraudulent purchases I believe 🤘🏼 I don’t want to fund a game where killer reigns supreme and crys when he can’t get consistently get his 4Ks. From a solo perspective I see that happening often. Killers don’t need Mori’s. They don’t need insta kills of any kind just as we don’t need toolboxes that are actually useful anymore right? Right.
-
Ooooookay
-
@Mister_Holdout said:
Gen rush is a lot more unfun and way more common imo.
How is it unfun? It’s literally not possible for you to not find anyone as a killer unless you have zero awareness. Are you saying you don’t find anyone and they slam all 5? Not likely. Stop complaining. If anything it should be faster. Thanatophobia, Ruin, aura perks, Mori, they literally give killers all kinds of stuff to disrupt GameFlow and that’s still a complaint? Idk about these 4 man SWFs but playing solo is not really viable because killers have it too easy to find people. Hiding spots are knee high. Adam francis’ fro sticks out so everyone can see it. Every survivor has nothing but highlighter clothes. How is this possible? How is it possible 5 gens fly by you without you getting anyone? Do you HAVE to get all 4 every single match ? As a solo survivor it’s practically unplayable so people get mad when survivors survive huh? 😂
-
@NullEXE said:
Because the survivors would of had to make a ton of mistakes, 1 hit for the killer equates usually around 12 mistakes made by a survivor who plays well.
hmm. How did you come up with those calculations?
-
@Respectfulnancymain said:
When a killer gets gen rushed its because the survivors are toxic swf tryhards
But when a killer 4ks in 2 minutes its becuase the survivors made a lot of mistakes
This point is used alot on the fourms
What i understand from this point is that every killer player is perfect and never make mistakes
Can someonw please explain why people think this is a good argument?
why do you make it sound so bad on the survivor side of things? Using the words Toxic and Tryhard? Stop being so killer sided. Killers sweep people too man. Survivors need more survivability as I don’t see many games playing solo where I’m making it out alive and it’s quite aggravating. 4Ks happen too easily for the killers tbh. It’s getting tiresome.
-
@NMCKE said:
Here's an idea to change both since they are pretty common nowadays! 😁
Ebony Mori
Once all generators have been completed, all survivors can be killed by the killer.
Ivory Mori
Once all generators have been completed, only one survivor can be killed by the killer.
Cypress Mori
Becomes basekit
Keys (Dull and Skeleton)
They both take 20 seconds to open the hatch, add-ons can be used to reduce the time it takes to do so (up to 10 seconds).
When a survivor attempts to use a key on the hatch, the HUD will blink the hatch icon and the killer hears an audible warning.
Isn’t this idea for Mori rework basically NOED? Because It’s not like anyone’s coming to rescue you lmao
-
No instead they give Mori’s I’m literally every level bloodweb. It needs the label “common” rather than ultra rare. The chances it spawns are TOO high. It’s ability is too much to have those thrown around all Willy nilly. This game is based on survivor and killer interactions and someone has to go down and get hooked eventually. So Mori is kinda too much. Because everyone wants to feel like the match was worth it. People want points, people want to have fun. The Mori just ruins the fun. But even then like, survivors still have to do gens to use the key. So it’s not a fair comparison. Every time I bring that in I’m in the position where I have to keep working on gens constantly. So it’s not like I’m coming in and just bouncing on the killer. He still had plenty chance to run around and get people. I think fun should remain a good part of the game too along with its competitiveness. And like I said keys can’t compare because we still have to do all 5 gens unless YOU HAVE already killed someone. But then it raises the question why do you feel like you deserve ALL 4 kills every single game? Why shouldn’t there be Alternative ways out for survivors ? Otherwise it’s not really fun for survivors. I don’t want to feel stuck in a game. Hatch is necessary. It’s about having options. You as a killer aren’t entitled to getting all 4 just as I don’t feel entitled to surviving. But Mori’s are too much. It’s just not that serious. I think killers have plenty of ways to get all 4 Mori is taking it overboard. In the end if a few get out good for them, it shouldn’t be a big deal. Everyone has fun in the end.
-
No. Keys can’t be used until they get an adequate amount of gens done. Which is practically all of them. So how does that make any sense? It’s not as good of a benefit as taking someone out of the game because you STILL have to put in the work to get use out of it. Mori’s let killers take short cuts. It’s not the same.
-
@BlueFirebilly said:
Then change the key, it’s a free escape with no downside while a mori has downsides and requires a hook
Nope I disagree with you. They nerfed toolboxes to slow down gens why do they need to change the key too? The key is for a hatch that doesn’t even show up until they’ve done an adequate amount of generators anyways. They have to do more gens then there are people alive. Killers get easy hooks and rehooks with only a one time use DS to worry about? Not even that because they have ebony Mori which disregards that? Screw that. That’s not fair at all.
-
@UberSolus said:
Quick summary. Got into a game, very quickly was downed due to me not paying attention. (Fair enough) I then get farmed off hook and instantly mori'd. This seriously needs to be looked at because it's probably the most unfun thing in the entire game.
I agree! Mori’s need to be removed. Killers are already fast, have plenty of abilities, plenty of ways of finding people. Why do they need them? Yes gens fly - which once it gets down to the last gen or two it gets tough for survivors. but Mori’s, they just outright ruin the game.
-
i just don’t think this is progressing in slowing down by implementing Mori’s. Those need to go just as they took down toolboxes.
-
@gezza123 said:
Does anyone else think that DS should also stop you from being Mori'd as killers who use it just instantly tunnel and there is physically nothing the survivor can do to stop being killed or tunnelled.
Anybody have any thoughts?
I agree man, the ebony Mori kinda takes the fun out of the game and there should be a way to counter it. DS would be the perfect perk to buff for that. It’s already ONLY a one time use when I already feel like it should save your butt every time you get off the hook. People want to get back in the game nobody likes being eliminated early too quickly. And it just kinda sucks I see people complaining as killer because survivors can take their leave all too fast too. Like I queued up to play too and you’re telling me it’s possible to leave the game with nothing because I couldn’t get away from a hook and got Mori’d? What kind of game is that? I love the concept but Mori’s don’t need to be a thing often or really at all. It was strange I leveled my plague up to 40 and past that I started seeing back to back ebony Mori’s. She now has 3 at 43. It’s ridiculous. Like I kinda don’t want to play anymore. Why should the killer be able to shorten the number on his objectives but survivors can’t get theirs shortened? He gets one hook then insta kill, why can’t survivors get an insta gen? Why not just eliminate the ebonys altogether and it will let people actually play the damn game. It just sucks I paid money for this game and it’s dlc and you’re telling me killers get those that often? They’re not ultra rare imo
-
@RayrafLPP said:
I think i can explain this.
Yes many people abuse this perk but thats not the topic.
So You hook someone and go chase another survivor. You need 20 seconds to find someone and 50 to down them.
At this point you were in a chase, focused and maybe didnt pay attention to the hooked survivor:
he got saved by his mates after 50 seconds because they finished a gen or something.
however you as the killer come back after 70 seconds+ 10 because you needed to get there too (wanted to kick a gen or whatever)
Now you encounter the still injured survivor who wants to go to a save place and heal. remember its 80 secons since you hooked them. For the survivor its just 30 seconds off hook.
So you will have a "oh come one I tunneled?" moment and the survivor will have a "Dude let me heal and stop tunneling" moment.
You cant blame the killer, he has to look at sooooo many things during a game. Where are they? how far is the gen progress. Who did i hook 2 minutes ago.
So This thread is not about people who abuse DS ( get unhooked and get on a gen injured and jump into a locker when the killer approaches)
Its about what you could do to improve the gameplay in situations like this.
In this example its not the survivors OR the killers fault he got tunneled, its the mates fault bc they didnt rescue when it was possible but finished gens instead.
--> killer feels genrushed AND unfairly treaten because he didnt tunnel from his point of view
enough with the DS complaints already. DS needs a buff if anything. It takes up a perk slot and it only works once. It should work EVERY time you get off a hook in my opinion. Maybe shorten the duration it’s active for, but give more uses. Every time off the hook. You have to think about it from the perspective of the survivor that just got off the hook he wants to play again yes? How many times do people have to tell you there needs to be ways to keep the game going for everyone. They just hit toolboxes really hard and tbh this game is more frustrating for survivors dealing with laggy hits from killers, unfair downs. Rehooks. All kinds of crap. So you complaining about DS is the least of anyone’s problems. It should b a stronger perk!

I get what your saying. But don't you think it's a little unfair that killers are forced to run certain builds whereas survivors get free reign to run whatever they want to?
as a survivor I also feel like I have to run certain builds too. You mean to tell me you’re looking at the scoreboard at the end of the game and seeing everyone running different perks? I don’t think so. Majority have DS, BT and DH. There are perks that almost seem mandatory to give yourself a better shot at staying in the game. Rather in fact, I think some need a buff Tbh. DS is only a one time use and people still complain about it. It should be more like every time you get off the hook it protects you. Because why should killers get their rehooks that easily? Most of the time I don’t get my 3 hooks because of Mori or Lag that kills me on 2nd stage. It’s unfair a lot of the time and I yet I still hear complaints. From a solo standpoint it’s more often than not a frustrating experience. I wanna have fun too and get heals and experience those heart pounding moments, but killers have learned to get really good at keeping people from playing the game. Think about it from the perspective of one person as opposed to all 4. Idk why this 4K thing is what people expect. But it happens frequently from my perspective. Not everyone is amazing at looping so that means you’re #########? That’s the way the games designed yet you people complain about that when people get good at it. 🤷♂️ It’s rough out here man
-
I’ve seen two teammates down before first gen less than a minute into the game. How is it fair that you’re capable of doing that?
-
@Seltas0208 said:

27 seconds for one gen. 27. With only one toolbox and one prove thyself .
How the heck did that manage to get into the game? Is the concept of having an early game just gone to rot in a dumpster fire ?
When it happened otz even he sounded worried, otz. One of the best killer players. In the end if he hadn't had stblf , if the person on the shoulder was struggling. He might've only gotten 2 kills. When he's trying his best. Otz.
How's your average Joe or Josephine supposed to deal with this?
How is your ability to slug and knock people down so fast OK? Why should it not be possible to get survivor objectives done fast if you can do the same? It’s not fair for survivors. How about you don’t have ebony Mori’s that rob survivors of playtime. Or they slow down hook timers so it’s not worth camping them anymore? You gotta think it needs to feel fair for survivors too
-
killers don’t need crutch ruin perk. It allows for map control too easy. Killers need to work harder imo. TheyRe too easy
-
@Goatman_Jack said:
The state of the game is clearly a joke right now. Things had been going downhill since before the ruin nerf, but that was just the icing on the cake. Since that and the legions chapter it’s become increasingly more and more frustrating as a killer. Yes yes there’s the dark days of long past. But they improved the game significantly since those times. But now it feels as if we’re headed back that way.
Not everyone who plays this game aims to get to red or even purple ranks. Yet they had to deal with the same #########. No, I don’t want to switch over and play survivor. That’s why I’m a killer main. No, I don’t want to be massively OP and 4K every game. And I don’t, nor have I ever expected to. I just want to actually have fun as a killer again. Before it still felt tense and like I had to use my head at times. But as of late it just feels like a nightmare. No one expects to win every single time, but no one also expects to lose over and over and over.
So my question stands. Why bother staying? What is it? Even I’m confused as to why the hell I still play fully well knowing I’m just going to get frustrated, but I keep coming back.
You’re wrong in every way
-
@Itachi said:
I'm still getting teammates who constantly disconnect on their first down just because they don't like the killer we are versing. At this point playing is just pointless.
They need to make a few minor adjustments to killers so they can’t take people out so fast. I think rather than fight the problem they should just turn the game into something that is more inviting for people to play. Why is it possible to get eliminated by Michael Myers on sight hell if I know... Why are there ebony memento Mori’s in the game? Hell if I know , but it’s not necessary. Killers need to put in the work just like survivors do . We don’t get short cuts why do killers

not even going to argue. Just going to suggest, play killer more. I'm a survivor main, yet I'm probably one of the more sympathetic to killers on the boards because of how much stress and imbalance they have to deal with. Thats one of the reasons i dont bother with the role, aside from the accessibility.
I do play killer more. As soon as I got to level 40 I saw 3 back to back ebony Mori’s and who knows how many more when I keep leveling. It’s kinda ridiculous they call those “ultra rare” when it should be more like “common”
I main plague. But I have no problem getting 3-4K a game. I also have Astro A50s and a 50 inch 4K TV with a 4K Xbox. So... you’re not really hiding and not injured unless you have IW.
look all I’m saying is, I don’t think Ebony Mori’s should be in the game as they don’t allow people to keep playing. I think with how easy it is to get someone hooked once why should you be able to kill them after that? The game is handing you different ways To either sneak up on survivors or find them using aura perks. I just don’t think it’s fair. There’s nothing that gives survivors the ability to make up for that death is there? Can they insta repair a gen to make up for that? No they can’t. I’m telling you it’s not as stressful as you think, some killers are really built for gen control. Those first 3 gens will fly but once they get down to the last 1-2 gens on me it can be rather difficult for survivors to get it undetected. Killers get off unfair hits all the time from lag, vaulting, lunging. I think they give killers too much. I’ve played both sides. But there are so many games where I see teammates getting laid out and idk what you guys really should be complaining about playing killer... only complaints I see are ones that are just so situational that nerfing them would only make it useless. Yet killers wanna have all their stuff go untouched? Okay.
-
Honestly if they make me move any slower as a survivor I think I’m uninstalling the game. I already feel like I run in place when I’m playing survivor. Like I’m running on a treadmill. A hamster in a wheel. It’s slow as sludge man. I see killers zipping around slugging people and one hitting people. I just feel like, you’re finding people, you’re downing people you’re having fun. Even if you don’t get all 4 why are you mad? People don’t want to die every game. Survivors love to actually survive. You know? Don’t feel all down and out because you got outran. Hell thats not happening in the majority of games I’m seeing floating solo between rank 7-8
-
@MisterCremaster said:
On PS4, the killer experience continues to be terrible as the ranking system constantly puts red ranks (as swfs) into low rank killer games.
I truly believe this is a product of people not playing killer since most of the time it's just not fun. It could be fun, but I'm rank 12 and just had 4 games in a row against full red ranks that (most) were clearly swf based on their coordination
I've seen people post about giving killers more BP or survivors fewer perks based on swf or something. I don't like any of these ideas. Getting more BP doesn't matter if I'm not having fun. Many red ranks can still run circles around most killers even without perks. Plus you'll still face red rank killers occasionally who (apparently) have no troubles ever.
I think the best way to fix this problem is a small handicap to survivor movement speed depending on stats. What I mean by stats is an algorithm similar to what I think they are trying to implement with the new mmr system. Swf, escape death ratios, kill counts etc. And based on this they get a small amount of movement speed reduction.
Why speed?
Because of the skill gap and the lack of killers, i don't think skill/rank disparity is going to go away - plus there would always be swf where ranks could be mixed.
This can be applied to individual survivors to balance teams.
It's the Chase's and looping that are the most frustrating part (and most fun part) of the game for both survivors and killers. Both would have fun and survivors of greater skill would have a challenge no matter who they are facing and the killer would always have a chance.
Alternatively, you could just have bloodlust increase much more rapidly when chasing a higher skilled survivor. My only problem with this is that it goes away when stunned by a pallet or breaking one- something that will happen a lot to lower rank killers by high rank survivors. I still think they would get looped to all hell this way. Survivor speed permanent reduction would mean _they_ would need to play more perfectly, not the killer.
Worst idea I’ve ever heard. I see plenty of killers putting people down. If anything I don’t think killers are really all that fair in some of the things they can do their Mori’s are irritating, because I don’t have fun playing survivor with those out there. Nobody wants to come into a game and get taken out right away. They need to remove those. Survivors are Coded to be slower than killers. They get temporary speed boosts from perks but I see killers catching me eventually no problem. It’s not fair for me that once I’ve been caught to be affected by anything that limits my playtime that’s what they need to focus on imo. Why is it fair for someone to leave a match with 5 thousand blood points and killers soak it in. Why is it fair for killers to Mori people but survivors don’t have an offering that can perhaps insta repair a generator after a survivor dies? Why is there no counter to that? Bs
My 2 cents
-
I think they should just get rid of Mori.
-
I think you guys just need to stop whining and wake up and realize that 4 other people want to have fun and play the game too. It’s not about you coming in and tunneling and pummeling people before one gen can even get done. I’ve seen it happen over and over. It’s too easy for killers to find people, and not everyone can loop killers really well. So you somehow feel you deserve to rehook people over and over without them being allowed to defend themselves? I just can’t... must be children that come in here and whine about dumb stuff. Killers have the most ridiculous abilities and advantages that make it really hard to do well as a survivor. Don’t act like you have to work hard to down someone in this game most of the time 😂 the game is practically coded for you to lay people out once you find them. Just sometimes it takes longer than usual. People that play killer just complain and want more and more. While survivors get less and less
-
This game is full of So many whiny people 😂 killer players have plenty of fun, just learn and adapt. But yeah I’m gonna stand by the fact that DS needs a longer stun duration. It doesn’t cover the 7 seconds of track marks so killers are just gonna come after you again. It only has a one time use. And the skill check is super small. It’s not really a fair enough perk for its purpose.
-

whenever i eat a DS i simply want you to die even more and NOW i want to tunnel you, DS is so overpowered and honnestly, we killer don'T want to slug all the time because we found the same survivor again so if they use DS on us, we can mori them when we get them, i wonder how many survivors will run DS after this, problem solved.
It’s NOT OVERPOWERED! It has a one time use and ITS TO PREVENT YOU FROM PREVENTING ME FROM PLAYING THE DAMN GAME. Rather in fact I think it needs a buff. It needs to be EVERY time you get off the hook. It’s there to protect people from getting tunneled and you don’t deserve some of the hits you get off on survivors anyways. Why would anyone want to play a game where as soon as they’re found you just get to do what you want with them without hassle? Nah, I’d want a refund. It’s not all about you man. Killers need a nerf or survivor perks need to stop getting nerfed. The DS perk needs a bit more help tbh to justify taking up a perk slot. If you hook me that doesn’t mean you should be able to rehook me without me defending myself . Sorry bro. It’s just fair to everyone else. Selfish person you are.

It's just that the devs don't want to admit that they have a really unbalanced game here. I enjoy playing it but half the time I'm ready to un-install. I am going to do it once Resident Evil 3 comes out. I cannot take this crap anymore.
No one should have to stay in a match if they don't like how it's rigged.
Let ppl DC, and have the game change the number of gens or something.
If someone leaves during load, have it change the number of gens down to 3, or 2.
DC penalty not needed.
Better game programming needed.
End report.
i just feel like people DC because sometimes all you get to do is spawn in and get hooked immediately because the killer spawns on you and lays you out. Survivor perks can help you loop the killer but, along with occasional lag spikes suffered on survivor side and killer having advantages in almost every aspect I’d DC too. Yeah you get those crews of 4 that come in and communicate and win, but even then... just so many games i don’t appreciate the way I went down and it was undeserved. Or the times I vault through a window and get slammed only to turn around and see the killer on the other side. Why do you have such impeccable range? It just makes the game deflating when you don’t get as many chances as you should because the killer has advantages over you in every aspect. He’s bound to find someone so you have to balance it to get 2nd,3rd chances or whatever. It’s not like people can go through the whole thing and stealth all 5 gens. So that’s why 2nd and 3rd chance mechanics need to be in place. This is why I don’t agree with ebony Mori’s. Especially with how frequently they appear in killer bloodwebs.
-
People getting caught by the killer shouldn’t be so penalized then if it’s that easy to find survivors. Ie hook camping,baiting, short chase durations because it’s too easy for him to catch you with speed, going down miles away from the vault You vaulted through and the killer is still on the other side of it. It’s just bad. Lag kills me most of the time it’s just a penalizing game for getting caught. I wanna play but more often than not I feel like DCing too after seeing my whole team DC one by one. It’s depressing. Killers don’t need to come in and mow people down. Are we mowing down gens now? Not with toolboxes that break as soon as you use it on a gen. Or not with thanatophobia and one guy on a gen literally takes forever 😂 it’s not fun doing gens anyways and you guys want them slower? I want to escape more often solo surviving. It’s too easy for killers is all I’m saying .
-
I paid for a game where some no life basement geek sitting on a shlt bucket in his moms basement can get his 4Ks so easily every game? I kinda want my money back. These killers are too much sometimes. I’ll have to agree with DR needing a nerf he was already annoying
-
It’s just not really balanced man. Killers have the undeniable and almost guaranteed way of finding people. There need to be more ways to not be found. The game is too well designed to have the best runner loop the killer when not all of us can do that. So what, I go down and get Mori’d? That’s what I paid for?

He was bad, one of the worst, at best he was unfun against, now he is viable. He DOES NOT need any nerfs !
He does man, he’s excessive And so is ghost face, Michael Myers and pig. Hag can be too much with her traps being infinitely littered around the map. When I get caught is it really that serious to draw 500 thousand triangles in the ground so it’s impossible to hook rescue? It’s just that Doctor didn’t need the buff. Nor did the toolboxes need 100 charge downgrade. It’s just stupid and unnecessary. Toolbox charges are much needed to help get the gen done when the match is in its final moments when killers can patrol gens so easily. Gens need to be spread out more if killers are gonna be as fast as they are AND make survivors do the majority of them
-
@CandyCornBread said:
It's not supposed to be balanced. It's an asymmetrical game. You can't make a game that feels fair to everyone no matter what the game is, so you just have to work for the majority. 80% of the people in a match are survivors, so that's who they focus on.
That’s not true stop playing the victim here. Killers are plenty good enough if not need nerfs sir. Consistent 4Ks need to be eliminated as a thing tbh. Too many killers are OP
-
It goes both ways. Idk why devs decided to take anything away from survivors. Maybe nerf toolboxes a bit but not by 100 charges. They’re unusable. Hatch needs to stay open if opened by a key imo (Not able to get stomped on if player opened it) . If that person brought in a key he should be able to perm open it for his team.
-
@gatsby said:
Key- Hatch only opens once and cannot be re-opened after it is closed. Hatch only stays open for 5 seconds if opened with a Key.
Moris- All survivors must be hooked once before you can mori anyone.
Thoughts? Keeps both these items strong, but makes them much less oppressive than before. And adds counter-play.
They should just remove Mori’s from the game
. It’s already unfair how many other abilities killers have it’s unfair to survivors by a long shot to even implement these Offerings into the game. Besides, Ebony Mori’s show up way too often in killers bloodwebs that doesn’t sound “ultra rare” to me. Everyone deserves 3 hooks in this game because of how short chases can be due to killer speed, lag, missed attacks from killers the stun doesnt seem long enough. The game needs to penalize killers a lot longer from mistakes or DS stuns because they’re just right back on you again. 7 seconds of scratch marks, no stun can cover that. It’s not really fair from an individual standpoint I feel like it’s too easy for killers. They need some reworks too just like the toolboxes they just destroyed. I don’t want to have a frustrating time playing survivor more often than killer but I do. It’s deflating getting hit through window vaults too. If I go through there they should just disable the hit box if I’m in the animation or AT LEAST if I’m on the other side of it. I mean come on, killers are faster than survivors and can one hit From exposed and Mori ? Stop. Unless you’re making it entirely possible to not get caught all game you have to give survivors more of a chance than that. 5 seconds isn’t enough for the hatch. That’s stupid. Killer sided nonsense imo. Hatch is a great thing that needs to be in the game because killers have it too good imo They don’t need all 4 kills every game. Otherwise why would anyone play your game? Last patches have been killer buffs and it just allows you to run on people now that gens take an hour to complete unless you really really work together. But from a solo standpoint it’s not playable because you just get so few chances it feels like. And I’m sorry I don’t want to queue up for an hour to play for 1 minute because I didn’t make it to the few jungle gym spots where looping is as good as it will ever be. Even then like I said some people aren’t good at looping and it’s ez 4Ks. Something needs to be done about slowing that down and I believe taking Mori’s out entirely will help that. Like I don’t want to play a game like that, and it’s defeating because I paid for the game too and love the concept. But tell me, if Killers can take someone out Like that why don’t survivors have an offering that lets them auto complete a gen? You took someone out the game fast why would you break toolboxes? Gen speed needs to be fast because I believe things can fall apart on survivor side really fast too.
-
as if killers don’t already have enough at their disposal you give them the opportunity to practically bring one to every single game they play. 😂 yet survivors have to work hard to use their once in a lifetime opportunity “ultra rare” brand new part by successfully hitting two difficult skill checks where the skill check needle probably slips every time your absolutely sure you nailed it 😂
-
@Androuruguayo99 said:
Just curious. Is not the game fast enough?
I played with ghostface. The swamp. Survivors who barely knew how to move un chases, all less than 30 seconds.
First chase, one gen
Second chase, another gen.
So goes the game. Each generator in a chase impossible to make shorter. They didn't even know how to do loop, they just threw the pallet
I have 3 gen away from each other. I use pop several times. I manage to kill one, as soon as I hook, the generator done. impossible to believe, it was marked and the chase lasted seconds, it didn't even get to a loop.
I look at the perks, 2 prove thyself. The speed bonus it gives is ridiculous. Three people can repair a generator in the time it takes me to hook someone up.
Sorry if you don't understand. English is not my native language
you complain about something that literally is VERY necessary . Imo it should actually be faster. The toolbox nerf was a hard hit because killers can kill just as fast so why didn’t they get hit too? How is this game fair for survivors when killers have the advantage in literally every single aspect? By every single one I mean latency too. So many games I’ve dealt with laggy Hits from killers, rubber banding, etc. I’m kinda disappointed in the gen speed tbh. Killers have thanatophobia which make it almost impossible to get a gen done by yourself. So... you’re telling me you’re complaining about teamwork getting a gen done too fast for your liking? Survivors need to be able to survive a little better than what it is now because I think killers have it too easy at the moment. Chases don’t last long enough! Killers are typically good at cutting the chase short from what I’ve seen constantly through all my games. Maybe you’re just bad. But at the moment I can tell you based on plenty of experience more often than not if I’m not with 3 survivor friends of mine it’s typically in the killers favor majority of the time. It angers me to see people complain about things killer has to put up with when game after game I see how my experience is cut short because the game lagged and killer got off an unfair hit on me when literally every hit matters because I’m not even getting my 3 hooks. The individual experience is extremely ignored in this game because this game is calibrated based on the maximum potential from SWF teams.

I will purposely run to you and expose you to the killer. I'm so tired of playing with selfish survivors that just hide and let their teammates get death hook when they haven't been hooked once. So annoying. I finally had enough of it and when to a locker where a survivor was and opened it so the killer could see they were there. Playing with two teammates, one was already dead and I was one death hook being chased meanwhile none of them had been hooked once and they just kept hiding. I cant take it anymore.
I think they just need to nerf killers just a tad. From Mori’s to Face camping, I don’t understand why the devs aren’t doing more to keep people in the game and give them more of a fighting chance. Hook rescues are often used as bait or just straight up camped on and it’s deflating. For a game that thrives on interactions between killers and survivors they don’t really give survivors too many chances to keep playing the game. yeah yeah DS and BT are gonna be your strongpoints in your argument Against that right? Well, It’s not enough imo. This game has a habit of penalizing players hard when it’s not really their fault. Killers have plenty of speed and loops can be cut short. Throw some lag and moris in it, nahhhh. I’ll go play something else
-
Latency, Killer being host, Killers having literally every ability known to man and still complaining about minute workarounds people have abused such as OP loop spots and certain perks that prevent tunneling when, people forget each survivor is a real person that wants to enjoy the game too more than they’re getting frustrated with it. The stats literally read that killers have slight advantages in every single way, yet people still suck at using them to the best of their abilities because they chase too hard, or whatever the case may be. It’s about the objectives when I play killer, that doesn’t mean I’m gonna now everyone down As soon as I see them lmao it’s about managing these OBJs man... these damn gens.. keeping them off/regression. I do fine as killer. But as far as the killing goes, it can be too swift due to lag and add ons and that pisses me off Especially If they start to mess with gen speed . I’m a solo survivor. It’s almost not worth playing. Why the complaints from killers at all when both ends of the spectrum are complaint worthy.
-
Dying wouldn’t be as big of an issue as long as I’ve always felt like I had a solid chance at playing the game. A lot of the time people that play killer are only concerned about killing all 4. This isn’t the type of game to go around being all sneaky without the killer ever finding you. So why is there a mechanic that allows killers to cut your game short when they do? Plus dealing with latency issues on survivor side? No thanks... This games not fun a lot of the time and seems more like a chore. I’m not gonna lie it’s hard to please both sides. But I’m telling you I don’t like coming into games and consistently being someone’s b***ch every game because the game screws me.

I play solo survivor and killer, probably about a 60/40 in favor of survivor. I can tell you right now, the main enemy I face every game isn't the killer, but my teammates who are allergic to generators. If I do poorly in a game or don't pull my weight, I realize it immediately and try to rectify it in future games to the best of my ability. Before ruin was removed, I almost never used it, and my results in games haven't changed too much, with a 4k every so often, some 2ks, and the odd blowout where most of the survivors get away, sometimes save 1. Bear in mind that I've stopped taking this game too seriously, and while I might not be making the most optimal of MLG plays at all times, that still won't stop me from calling out the BS that has been in this game since the beginning.
I don't mean this as an insult, but what was I expecting from someone whose name is survivorsareruined? I agree that there are frustrating aspects to this game for both sides, and yet in spite of it all, when it comes to the most influential role in the game when played at its best, survivor wins this by a long shot. A combination of second chance perks and map design along with the ability to stack the deck by playing with friends on discord (which is totally understandable - game is far more tolerable with friends) tip the scales of this game in the survivor's favor. If you cannot see that, then the question here is not whether or not I play survivor, but whether you play killer at all.
i Most definitely see that teamwork tips the game in the survivors favor and that’s the way I really think it should be 😂 however, as a solo survivor I can tell you 75-80% of the time I’m not getting out alive and more often than not within that percentage my game gets cut short from Mori’s and the fact that M Myers has insta kills. That shouldn’t be a thing either. I believe gen speed and Mori’s go hand In hand. If they nerf one they should nerf the other. Don’t make it harder on me to do gens (even by nerfing toolboxes - which they just did) and not do anything about Mori’s showing up in every single Level bloodweb Past lvl 40 for killers. Thats my biggest complaint. They shouldn’t be walking around with those things all Willy nilly. It ruins my experience because I waited to queue up too man. Someone’s gotta get caught or keep the killer busy and you’re telling me there’s something in the game that can basically count that game as wasted time for me? Pssshh.. that’s highly upsetting to say the least.

WARNING: Long post ahead.
I played a game last night that made me realize something. After dealing with gen rushing all night and either getting red rank sweaty SWF, or random potatoes that i 4ked in a few minutes, I realized what the problem is with this game. There is so much anger between both sides and nobody seems to really know why. Killers talk about how hard it is dealing with gen rush, keys, DS/BT. Survivors talk about how OP killers are constantly asking for nerfs and complaining about tunneling, camping, mori.
None of that matters, because this game has some serious flaws. These flaws are what is causing this division, and the devs have a serious problem on their hands that i'm not sure how they can fix due to how the game is designed.
I have been pretty outspoken about how awful the Ruin nerf has been and how frustrating this game can be for killers, but i have changed my mind about it. I think the ruin nerf was a good thing although not for the reasons you might think. The problem with Ruin is all about some points addressed in this video:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1p42KtZOCw
At high level play, ruin was a minor annoyance, because high level players can hit great skill checks in their sleep, and they can get it off the map within 30 seconds of the game starting. At low level play, ruin was a complete nightmare, and would basically always result in a loss unless it was found quickly.
But, this got me thinking more about the game, and i came to realize something. This game is not BALANCED. Now bear with me, i don't mean like "lol this game isn't balanced x is OP, y thing is bad." I do, but only sort of, and i mean so in a constructive way. First, let me preface this by saying, this game is really hard. Like, really really hard. Think back to when you first started and how hard survivor was. I think we were lucky to get 1 or 2 gens to pop when my friends and i started playing. We looped killers for maybe 10 seconds at most and always thought they were so OP.
Now, think to super high level play, where most killers will tell you that the game is a constant uphill battle, and they always feel behind. This of course being compounded by the ruin nerf (great skill checks now giving huge bonuses to high ranking players). I'm sure some survivor mains will go "lol cry more baby killer, go use NOED, or tunnel/camp etc." But think about it for just a few minutes.
Alot of these problems are masked by how much of a snowball this game can become. It is really easy for a game to end in just a couple minutes if either side makes a huge mistake.
This Game Is Not Balanced.
I want to look at another game for just a moment that i am rather fond of. Chess.
I feel chess is a great example for this for several reasons. It is a highly competitive game and has some interesting nuances that matter a lot more as you get better at the game. For example, at high level play the general rule is it is a bit easier to get a win out as white due to 1st move advantage, and black is generally playing to equalize early on. This is because White inherently has an advantage while attacking due to the first move. However, this advantage isn't absolute or even perfect, even with first move advantage the game is still pretty BALANCED. What i mean is that, at super high level play, draws are extremely common. This person on quora explains it a bit: https://www.quora.com/Is-chess-a-draw-with-perfect-play-by-both-players.
The 2 main points i want to make from the above article are this:
Correspondence Chess: In correspondence chess, people typically trade moves off several DAYS at a time through email (back in the old days it was through the mail). The draw problem is insanely bad there, especially at the top level. A recent article on ChessBase (Correspondence Chess – the draw problem) shows that over 1,512 recent top level games, the draw rate is an astonishing 82.3% of games. In fact, as the article notes, people are seriously throwing around alternative scoring systems.
Cyborg Chess: This is where humans & computers play together at normal time speeds. Internet Chess Club's recent Ultimate Chess Championship was covered here: https://www.quora.com/Is-there-a-perfect-algorithm-for-chess-where-computer-can-defend-every-move in John Fernandez's answer to "Is there a perfect algorithm for chess, where computer can defend every move?". 25 of the 28 games were drawn, for a draw rate of 89.3%
The highest quality chess in the world is seeing an 80%-90% draw rate, and this is increasing! Pretty damn clear evidence that in the highest quality of chess, over a hundred years of analysis by humans and computers, that chess is a draw..
Now, how does this relate to DBD? Well, what is the "draw" rate of a game where both sides play 100% perfectly? I'm talking chess engine level and pro player play. The top 100 in the world. In my experiences playing, during a "perfect play" scenario killers would have a rough time. Basically a game would result in the killer almost immediately finding someone, then starting a chase. Then the killer would continue chasing the person while they run, perfectly mind you, from pallet to pallet. Remember, mindgames aren't a thing, as both sides are playing perfectly. The killer would likely drop chase early to pressure gens, but then the survivor would immediately jump back onto the objectives. Survivors would then, avoid areas where pallets have been wasted unless they are sure the killer is elsewhere. I'd argue that in a perfect play scenario that we would not see the "draw" that the devs are hoping for in a 2K/2E game. We would likely see the killer get very few, if any hooks, and all 4 survivors escaping.
Now, you might be asking why this matters, i'm talking about levels of play that most people won't ever achieve. Why does it matter? Because it means that,as the players get better and better, the game is going to be more and more survivor sided. But, due to how the game is designed, it's a hard problem to solve. If they start buffing killers to make that 2K/2E happen in perfect play and we start seeing true draws, then the lower level players would have a terrible time. 0 chance of escaping a game, likely only 1-2 gens popped (if any).
The problem is the disparaging difficulty of this game depending on your skill level. Devs need to take a hard look at the design of this game, and try and solve this problem. Because if we ever truly want a world where the game feels good. It needs to be "balanced" for perfect play, but also allow room for lower skilled players and new players to have a chance. In a perfect world with a team of "1500 elo survivors" and a "1500 elo" killer the game should still end in a draw statistically more often then it does now.
SWF compounds this problem even more. Imagine this scenario.
- The survivors are on comms.
- They simply take ZERO risks. The moment they hear the heartbeat (or spot you if you’re a stealth killer) they bolt like a frightened little mouse ensuring the chase takes the absolute longest possible amount of time, whilst telling the other survivors the killer is now distracted, get back on the gen.
- They loop, but they take ZERO chance of getting hit at any pallet and don't bother to mindgame. They drop it immediately as an obstruction and already know exactly which loop they’re next running to depending on if the killer does or doesn’t break the pallet.
- it becomes apparent (as 1 or 2 gens pop) that this chased survivor is going to be untouchable while the other gens will continue to pop.
- Killer abandons the chase to find a different survivor.
- Survivor 2, 3, and 4 just rinses and repeats the above scenario.
Yes this may seem like pallets are “wasted”, but at the rate of survivor efficiency it’s impossible for the killer to expect to get to endgame and have it a be barren pallet wasteland even if the killer DID break dropped pallets, AND the killer will have probably wasted more time doing so. There will still be many MANY pallets available to the survivors at this point of the game, and they’ll just use the exact same strategy for one of the exit gate switches.
It's plain to see that the math simply does not add up. If a survivor literally just holds "W" the entire time and gets hit twice before down, combined with finding the initial survivor, and grabbing and hooking, the amount of time that takes is easily 40-50 seconds. This is enough for half a gen to pop. even if the killer knows exactly where they are, with walk speed, 3 gens would nearly be done if survivors play with perfect efficiency. This is even BEFORE factoring in looping and pallets.
In closing:
Before you start "REEEEE BABY KILLER CRY MORE" me. Pay attention to what i said. I am talking about top level play, where it is clear that this game has a problem. You can "REEE" at me all you want, i am rank 1 killer every reset for the last 2 years with 700 hours played and i play basically every killer. I know a little bit about what i'm talking about. Do i need to get better in some cases? Of course. But the math doesn't lie. Perfectly efficient survivors are unstoppable.
are you really telling me you’re not getting anyone all game? 😂 someone’s over exaggerating. Don’t fall for loops if you know where they are. Map knowledge. How is it fair for survivors that killers can kill them as fast as they can if it were that easy to get them? I’m no pro at looping but I can tell you from a personal standpoint I want to play the game too and Complaining because you’ve been looped for 10 seconds and gen rushed is stupid. You and I both know you got someone at least every match, it’s almost impossible to go all match and not get a single survivor. You’re just really bad.

@BadMrFrosty said:
In a post-unbreakable game, survivors have no excuse for losing to a 4-man slug strategy. You have a perk meant to mitigate or negate this kind of pressure, and it has disgusting synergy with decisive strike (60 second invulnerability in lockers), a perk likely used in more than 70% of all games. Most of the survivor-sided maps in the game are still heavily survivor-sided, even if they've seen some minor tweaks here and there. So let's summarize:
- Most maps that were broken years ago are now just 'overpowered', some having legitimate 'lose points' where if the chase goes there, you either abandon it or lose the game. A 'safe space' in a horror game, if you will.
- Most of the new perks that are coming out for both sides are either extremely niche, require other perks to be usable, or are just complete garbage.
- The killers that are being released for the state the game is in, on average, are totally underpowered against more coordinated groups. If it wasn't for new/terrible players in DBD, it would die overnight, as no killer would take a single win off of any survivor team.
- Camping and tunneling are still two highly effective strategies due to the speed at which generators are completed, and, while not enjoyed by survivors, is almost essential to some degree if a win is desired on the killer's end (especially with ruin being rendered useless, for the most part).
- Killer variety at red ranks, based on my own experience and those of the few players I watch play this game, is still at an all time low. Same 3 - 4 killers with an oddball thrown in on the rare occasion.
What we all need to understand at this point in DBD's cycle is this: the developers do not wish to create a balanced game where the skill of either side determines the victor, they want to nurture a live service business model filled with cosmetic microtransactions. Survivors outnumber killers by a vast degree, and thus, from a business perspective, it makes the most sense to cater to them, as their buy power outstrips that of the killer by a staggering margin. BVHR has proven time and time again that they do not know how to balance or program, and while I'm not a professional in either category, I've played enough games in my life to have an idea of what a reasonable standard is for both. The only thing keeping DBD relevant at the moment is a lack of strong competition, as other games in its genre have long since died out.
Such a killer sided response it’s ridiculous. Do you even survivor? Smh. I highly disagree with almost everything you say except for shortage of killers. The shortage of killers is most likely due to ruin crutch players that threw a hissy fit at the nerf. Or just the fact that the devs made it harder to help manage gens enough to slay all 4 with ease. I am a strong believer that killing all 4 needs to be far from a consistent thing for anyone. I play killer and I get nothing short of 3 kills a game even whilst playing higher ranks. It can be too easy for most of these killers/perks yet you guys still complain and want more. It grows tiresome.

So many killers complain about getting gen rushed in 5 minutes but then slug everyone then hook
Complain about survivors hiding, looping and gen rushing then tunnel, camp and slug
Using op add on then complaing about insta heals
Same can be said about survivors but i notice more hypocrisy from killers on the fourms and reddit
Gens should be able to get rushed in 5 minutes. Wait why is that even a complaint? How about the fact that as a survivor I can come in and see my team knocked down faster than that though? How is that fair? Survivors are just as much on edge about not making a single mistake as killers are. It’s not that serious killers should be getting used to 4Ks at the end of the match 1-2/3 should be normal. Nobody will enjoy a game where all 4 gets put down as fast as I’ve seen this game will allow. The devs need to take into consideration the amount of lag survivors have to deal with. It’s not fair on my end playing a game where I can’t have fun with it because killers want more and more buffs when I already feel like they have enough. They’re so damn fast and have so many OP add ons, offerings (memento Mori’s being in every levels bloodweb - which doesn’t deserve the title “ultra rare” but more likely deserving of the title “common”)
* Distortion needs a buff for being the only perk that counters killer Aura reading perks because literally every good killer perk has an aura reading ability. 3 tokens is just not enough.
anybody disagree, really? Because I play killer too and I think as often as I’ve gotten 3-4 pieces pretty much every game says something. That’s great and all, but I gotta say something about that not being a consistent “thing” because I feel like it is for a lot of people that play killer. And I’ve seen rank 1-8s in my lobby’s as well.
I don’t agree with how fast killers can kill because it’s deflating for people. So how is it really a thing that anyone can complain about gen speed or any perks survivors use? they’re all very necessary. Some of them need a buff imo. Why is decisive strike a one time use and people still complain about it? Saying it needs 30 seconds instead of 60? Or saying it needs to have more ways to get disabled if some specific event takes place? I think that’s Ridiculous because it takes up a perk slot to prevent you from preventing me from playing the game 😂 while killers get to use aura reading perks you guys want to complain about a perk that lets me keep playing? Smh.... Yeah watch people quit playing survivor soon if you keep that attitude up.
-
so Just to sum it all up , frustrations set in so persistently on the survivor side as it doesn’t feel like a perfected system in place for them. 75% of the time I go down I don’t feel like these killers deserve the down let alone the kill. You don’t know what the survivor player you got the down on is experiencing on his/her end of things. Failed pallet drops, lag, bugs, glitches. All kinds of stuff. Then what, forced to be left on hook or Mori’d and now you’re headed back to the menu with barely any bloodpoints to show for it? Yeah okay. That’ll make me wanna queue up again lmao people are selfish sometimes when it comes to killer I swear.

This was a badham, They got 4 and a half gens done before I got a down and my power.
I then played out of my mind and barley got 2 dead and regressed all the gens.
Then someone dcd, allowing one to escape and I get a black pip and 2 kills to my record.
This isn't bannable and survivors do it every game.
This can literally guarantee at least 1 escapes almost every game and hasn't been fixed, despite having been brought to attention multiple times.
DC penalties dont fix this as good survivors can do it the once or twice they lose a day.
So please explain to me again how you dont favor survivors?
Survivors have to work hard as hell . The fact that you got that many just says how big of an impact the toolbox rework had. It forces people to work together to get any impactful progress done to the gens. But they didn’t slow down killers at all. You’re complaining about DC’ing and whatnot when you gotta think from a survivors perspective that it can be really rough on them when you combine lag and some of these OP killer abilities that just make it nearly impossible to dodge attacks or get the stun off when you need to. Not to mention these killers have exposed or charged attacks that down in one hit. It’s hard not to DC when you feel you weren’t given a solid chance to play. You complain about something they have to fix so survivors can’t just get stomped out of the game so fast. A lot of the time I’m sitting there thinking I was well through a vault and then I go down, turn the camera behind me the killer is still on the other side of the vault. It’s bs sometimes and yet here you are thinking only of yourself. Each of these 4 survivors are real people too and if it’s not a 4K for these people they get frustrated. 4Ks shouldn’t be happening consistently yet they are for most killers. I love the games concept, but tbh I’d love to see variety in objectives for survivors with the objectives spread out a little bit more. I dislike the fact that generators are so close together and how there are so many things that screw me over while playing it that it’s more often than not just not fun playing survivor. I actually don’t understand why DS isn’t a longer stun particularly because 5 seconds isn’t long enough to cover the scratch marks staying on the map for 7 seconds when running away from the killer. the killer is just getting gonna track you down again and back on the hook you go 🤨 whether you get 0,1,2,3 or 4 kills as a killer you should feel satisfied with that. You still accrue a handsome amount of points for all your interactions with survivors so why is it that 4Ks are Or should be a consistent and expected thing? Everyone’s happy if they scored well and escaping is part of scoring well for survivors. It’s not everything, but it being a viable option is something important to keeping survivor players happy. I mean, nobody wants to play a game where they just get smashed on every match because the game is too well designed in preventing players from actually playing if you’re somebody with a brain as a killer, last I checked almost everyone has one. trappers traps are a good example of preventing people from playing because you have like a zero chance of getting out of them yourself. Or that there’s not a better way to discourage hook baiters, tunnelers or campers (because it seems killers losing out on points while doing this apparently isn’t a good enough reason to not do this kinda thing) even though it IS a legit strategy. There have to be better counters in place for this kinda thing because tbh it seems kinda weak. All in all I disagree I think you did better than average and you should be happy with that. I just don’t think the game is fair play on survivors end right now because of the laggy hits from killers which makes vaulting feel like certain death 100% of the time once getting to the other side. I just think it can be too easy for killers to get all 4. A more balanced game is where killer tried his butt off and got only 1-3 consistently. 4Ks shouldn’t really be a thing. So complaining about anything when clearly you’ve terminated 3 people is so mind blowing to me. Think about those people that get hit off early in the game, might as well DC because you have the ability to do your job too soon by not giving them a chance to play even though they took the time to queue up and go through all those loading and readying up screens too. Idk, I honestly don’t give a damn if I make it out as long as I got to play and work on things and have a chance to make an impact on the team. But of course DC is gonna happen if you don’t let that happen. I mean ######### one of the survivors practically spawn in next to the killer. 😂😂😂 enough said
