How can you even list anything when we know nothing about the system?

Agreed. However, I do understand the nerves about it. I have said multiple times on here camping and tunneling need to go but I would be lying if I said I was not nervous about this. I am happy They are at least trying though.

  • The anti-camp measures are interesting. New game modes are a big deal to me (game got stale for me) very excited.

Disappointed asf about the anniversary chapter though. Knight, Skull Merchant, and now this? But Art the Clown a no go? pssf.

I understood why Visual TR added to game and i am all supporting it. If it is helping to people who has hearing issues, then it is amazing change.

    But...

On other hand, we have Sadako. This killer has no chase power. She needs to trust her surprise hits and teleports. Her teleport was never good because of long cooldown.

Her lullaby was also bad but at least it was not so loud. But now it is even worse. It is so hard to take surprise hits after this Visual TR update. I am hardly enjoying when i play her lately.

I don't know why Sadako has lullaby and i never understood this fact. But please stop ignoring this killer. We really needs some good changes for her.

It's very bad rep to releasing killers and then leaving them as how bad as them. This makes us stay away from your new chapters.

I feel so bad for Sadako. Needs a lookin at or a buff but will never see one due to the condemned playstyle. Condemning all of us who play her normally in the process. She is not terrible I do well with her but I still believe she could use a thing or two.

  • Knight is a killer I liked to play sometimes.

    Sorry all I got.

    You ever touched grass?

My advice? Other games are really fun you should check them out sometime.

    Jokes aside....Congrats on this frfr.

  • Been a huge Cage fan since Face Off so this is actually pretty ######### awesome. I know he fell of quite a bit over the last decade though so more than surprised. In a good way though. Not the juice needed to make me download again but vey nice BHVR.

Most of us can admit that playing solo queue with 3 potato teammates that either leave you to die on the hook while they haven't been hooked once just sucks. On top of that, those survivors that join the game and are absolutely useless in the fact that they aren't touching gens and instead just running around the map doing NPC activities like cleansing dull totems also suck. I propose that since SWF most of the time have comms through discord or some sort of platform where they can communicate with each other, it would only be fair that could also be done for players who are solo queuing. They should add an ingame survivor voice chat to be able to communicate with your teammates since all survivors in the match have the same objective and can help each other out with comms and maybe even ask one of the team mates to pull up to a side of the map to work on gens or heal instead of having to run around the entire map looking for your teammates to heal you. Feel like this would make the game a lot more enjoyable and fun to queue by yourself as you can also make friends this way easier and queue up with those guys and play a couple of games. Thoughts bois?

I have always considered this a poor matchmaking issue above all. VC won't help these scenarios at all. Not to mention the game would die if you could win with 3 potatoes on your team. Killers would leave in droves and survivors would die of boredom.

All this being said I am not against it. Might as well try and see.

The survivor Meta where the queue times were 15 minutes had DH, DS, BT, UB. That change would mean you get a 80 second BT with IW with a massive DS buff at the cost of DH being much weaker. There is a very big difference in DS being a one time proc at 3s vs 2 at 5s. That change would bring the old survivor meta back with it basically being buffed compared to before.

And what more does tunneling need nerfed if you are already running OTR+SB? If the devs want tunneling to be a thing in this game then I don't see how this tactic is in a bad spot if you are running that combo. The only thing I can see by not having DS a threat is that players that refuse to run anti-tunnel get tunneled a lot more.

I'm sorry dude I explained the why and how already in my last post. Here is what I see UB has not changed, BT still needs ran since base kit is too weak, DS is dead, DH is dead. So how ironic tunneling has got out of control since these nerfs/changes. Honestly if you like to tunnel that's fine just say that but bringing up some old build not even in the game anymore seems odd. OTR is not that great honestly. If you get hit off hook it does nothing for starters. If you don't get hit off hook it's gone before your next killer interaction most of the time. Unless your assuming most survivors don't touch a gen and follow you to try to use it offensively and in that instance you win anyhow.

People who would use any of what I said offensively are not on gens....I'll take body blocks over the gen/kill rush we have now any day.

  • @Trollinmon said:

Tunneling - I would start by buffing DS to 5 second stun along with working on both unhooks.

What's stopping survivors from running DS+OTR and using the perks offensively? Can do DS+OTR with UB. Body block and force the killer to tunnel you and if they slug then you UB.

That can be done now and it's not helping. 2 seconds longer stun with an additional 5 second stun is the only difference. Unbreakable can only help them once so the second DS you are free to slug with no consequence. These strats (all of them mentioned) need nerfed somehow for game health. I find it hard to believe any veterans of DBD are finding this current state fun or reasonable.

  • @MikaelaWantsYourBoon said:

I am not asking what license you are waiting. I am asking what QoL, balance and fix changes you are waiting.

    I am starting.

I know i am so negative about game lately but i really loved DbD. It's one of the my fav games for all time. There is few games i played for +1000 hours and DbD is one of them. Almost 3k hours atm.

So i am really hoping they make this game fun for me again. And for everyone who can't enjoy anymore.

The latest balance changes did this to all of us. They changed game into very boring state for both sides.

Play killer and your best option is tunnelling someone out.

Play survivor and your best option is rushing gens. And it's depends on your team if you are solo player.

So i am hoping some good buffs for solo survivors and some nerfs for tunnelling & camping strategies in general. But ofcourse we can't leave it like that. So some good buffs for killers in general as well for making different strategies stronger.

Some maps seriously needs good changes as well. All of new maps are crazy bad, so i am hoping some balance changes for them as well.

I just lost my hope on this but i want to see some buffs for Sadako. The visual TR made her imposible to play for me. Her lullaby needs to be removed. That's terrible.

Anyway, i know devs are trying to make this game better even i disagree and dislike their decisions. So i am hoping this year became better for everyone. But please no more terrible chapters like Knight & SM. Hope we won't get killers like them anymore.

Tunneling - I would start by buffing DS to 5 second stun along with working on both unhooks. Killers need to fear this perk and make them hesitant to tunnel so quickly. This perk should not work in endgame still. I would also find a balanced way to promote hooking different survivors like a minor slowdown or GE basekit.

Camping - This one is much harder but I would increase hook timers to start. The goal is to weaken these strats. A step farther would be to disable killer powers within 8 meters of hook. I know this can be abused but I believe I have a way to fix that. The killer must leave the radius (Mine example of 8 meters) and be in chase with another survivor to re-activate their power. Meaning if they leave hook and run into another survivor and said survivor leads them back within the 8 meters their power works.

Slugging - I personally have no issue with slugging. I would just like a way to opt out if killer refuses to pickup or team won't/can't so pretty much no 4 min bleed out.

Gen progression - Needs removed or heavily reduced. All gen progression boost along with BnP's. Their would be no need for them if the above changes take place.

Maps - There are a few to many that tilt to much in favor of one side. This needs fixed and has needed fixed for quite some time. New maps like Borgo and GoJ need to be looked at months ago or just plain deleted.

Matchmaking - I don't know how to fix it but it is a major issue right now.

if I think of more I will add. Thank you for asking @MikaelaWantsYourBoon .

    Agreed.

I see plenty of ppl that just want the game to be easy for them I'm ngl, def not all of them tho but quite a bit. Either that or just ppl disagreeing w me w non existent reasoning that basically just boils down to insults or whatever

Or some people just don't agree with you. It's ok nothing to get all bent over (Don't say your not). Tunneling and camping need to go for game health totally agree but it's a dev problem and personally don't think it's high on their list unfortunately. I'm an old school breed who has a hard time even camping in end game but I still find solo the more chill and relaxed role. Not saying what so ever killer is harder I just find it to be a chore I am no longer interested in. I'm getting off topic so...

I support the removal of tunneling and camping but it will require buffs to lower tier killers. People can tell me till they are blue in the face they can win all day without tunneling/camping/slugging but truth is that's just piss poor matchmaking sorry to tell ya.

  • That's great and you have my respect for life. Most posters on here refuse to change their minds about anything...makes me wonder why they even ask anything.

Not to mention the survivor money pit Pennywise would have.

Sorry if this seems like I took this personal but I have seen this mentioned to many times for comfort. We have Hillbilly and Bubba running around with chainsaws (But still completely different) and yet we can't have Pennywise because of clown? Last person got hatch at shack, 50/50 I picked the wrong side of shack to check first lol.

Yes. Any killer can be played at a high level. Does not change their strength though. I personally think your screenshot is why this discussion de-railed. With current matchmaking it could be argued we have no idea the strength or skill of anyone. The way 10000 hr players go against 100 hr players kind of throws everything out the window. I mean just look at the streamers who go on their streaks. If you scope out majority of the games how many of them where against survivors of their caliber? Not many I know that. Just pay attention to how many games they play where the survivors have a decent understanding of the game/killer they are against (very few).

I am extremely good with Freddy and Pig winning the high majority of my matches but I know for a fact I shouldn't be and I'm not crazy enough to think they are strong. There are two many factors at play to say I do it anyone can. Matchmaking, Maps, Solo vs swf, add-ons, perks, etc all play such a huge part in trials that I find it so laughable that "Comp" is even mentioned in DBD. Gives me a clown chuckle every time I hear it.

Dredges design is good and creative, the implementation could have just been better to avoid common triggers and general uneasiness.

Haddie is a great design ESPECIALLY compared to Kate (who I do like for her lore, but let’s face it, she looks super generic)

I agree. I flocked right to Haddie when she released as I personally found her look/design unique/different (not a bad thing). I personally feel the devs forgot about her (lack of cosmetics) so of course the players did. It got worse for Haddie when Thalita released because I have not touched any other survivor since....not even my precious Nancy

    😥

In case I was clear Thalita = Best survivor ever. I just got to cut her brothers brake line....swear that he is always around.

I wouldnt even say its in a bad state. Just the community babies upset that their crutches were taken away

This is for sure a big factor I don't doubt that. I personally don't believe I had any crutches as my builds changed on the daily and I still think the game is in a horrible spot overall. The game just doesn't feel right on either side. Could some of this be nostalgia from years ago? Maybe. Does not change the fact the game does not tickle the right feathers for a good portion of the player base right now (myself included). I personally don't like the direction the game is heading in but I have I hopes it will get better.

That's fantastic if you disagree and feel different it truly is. That said there is just to many reports like mine to just sweep them under the rug.

Just remove Obsession condition already. As much i love this perk as much a hate it, because survivors get value from this perk way more often then me.

I really hope u have some huge overhaul for perks for anniversary ptb, because u just destroyed killers perks and gave nothing in return.

Any Means (my favourite survivor perk btw long before its last buff) need a cooldown, at least 30 sec.

    CoH still broken af.

Dark Theory also increase vault speed.

    Selfcare 45-50%.

Oppression could easily have 40 sec cd.

Grim Embrace 60 sec and works twice if you didn't hook someone twice in a row.

Hangman's Trick. I haven't seen this perk either in my matches or on anyone's streams for three years. Still untouched lmao.

    Fire Up 5-5,5% per token?

Game Afoot 8-10% for 10 seconds

    Thana 4+4+4+(4+4)

Predator shows scratch marks of survivors for 2 seconds after they stop running.

Should I continue? Or do the killers have to use Sloppy/Corrupt/Deadlock/No Way Out for another year until they are became "meta" and get nerfed?

I never understood the small percentage on Fire Up. Like it does not get full power until the survivor objective is complete and it's an overpowered 20%????????

I think each gen done should add 10% to kicking, picking up, vaulting, etc. That would put the perk at 40% with 1 gen remaining and 50% faster in endgame like it's the endgame how many kick are you going to do or bodies to pick up? Not enough for this perk to be OP. As for DL remove obsession buff and I would run or up the percentage enough to actually get some value.

Edit : Devs literally gave survivors infinite pallet pickups with no CD (AMN) and I find resetting pallets much stronger than a POSSIBLE missed skill check with Oppression. No CD on Oppression and the perk would still not be great as it does no extra regression and requires a kick. Skill checks are not very hard either.

Try to remember not everyone plays on PC. Skill issue has lost all meaning these days. Should of went with your gut and not said it.

90% I’m sure it was an extreme exaggeration but there is an issue right now and it’s magnified on Console. It is nowhere near 90% like I said, but one missed swing from this auto aim can add who knows how much to a chase could be the difference of someone making a pallet or not costing the killer very valuable time.

losing a match due to skill or your own mistakes. That’s OK can suck but it’s OK losing a match because of a bug or feature. No one asked for stings a bit.

Deactive her drone and she will put another.

When she catch you on gen she will just m1 you and then she will leave for checking other gens.

Ignore drones and she will get you down with one-hit.

Do not ignore drones and she will just put another.

After 30 minutes, one of us just give up and died. And at this point we just lost. But even at 3 v 1 , she still did not leave her 3 gens.

After 3 games against her in row, i really wanna remove this game for forever. I don't know is there any chance to rework her.

Exactly what you are doing right now. As annoying as it is to hear about SM all damn day the best way to get it fixed is to flood social media nonstop. Since it's not a survivor perk or Blight's add-ons I'm betting it will get fixed soon. Hang in there.

    TL;DR

Anniversary Cake bonus Blood Points should only stack with other people who bring cake.

EDIT: Just to clarify. If players 1-4 bring cake and player 5 doesn't. Players 1-4 would get 4 x 107% bonus BP for bringing cake. Player 5 gets none. Nothing else changes, just how the bonus is applied.

DBD Anniversary is the time of year when all the scumbag playstyles come out in full force. I see more hackers just doing their thing, more survivors and killers doing their best to annoy other players.

The anniversary event becomes less of a celebration, but more of a "worst of" moments all concentrated in that short week(s).

Personally, the Anniversary event when when I see people on my friends list stop playing the game. They come for the extra BP, but soon find it not worth the trouble and go back to playing Civilization.

Quite often, the scumbag player(s) are the ones who didn't bring cake. It's like the one person that didn't bring anything for the potluck dinner, eats more than anyone else and then complains about the quality of the food all night. Neither actions are against any rules, but it just ruins the party for everyone else.

There's nothing that can be done to people who decide to play DBD just to ruin other people's enjoyment, but if they at least brought cake it would soften the blow for other players.

However, If they decide to use map/ hook offerings to compliment their annoying schemes, then they shouldn't be rewarded with extra BP other players brought to the party.

Cheers, and have a nice day, everyone. 😗

I have been playing DBD for quite some time (long time actually) and never even had a thought close to this.

That said I completely agree OP.

what dead hard has to with blights addons?

well.. DH countered a lot of addons in the game what were not really fair. especially against high tier killers DH wasnt a huge problem. DH countered high latency killers, insta down addons or maybe even insta kill addons from the lovely stalky boy.

and if you gonna nerf DH what countered a lot of BS you should have also nerfed all these strong addons.

but what BHVR did was nerfing DH and keeping all these BS and strong addons in the game. thats why DH has something do to with this topic.

and the fact that because of whining in the forum BHVR decided to nerf DH once again but didnt touch all problematic addons shows that they just want to hold hands of casual or inexperienced killers.

give me one reason why blights addons didnt get touched? only one, there is none.

so if you gonna complain about a perk like DH you should also not be biased and also talk about the strong killer addons.

why is dead hard going trough 2 nerfs in a short time while blights addons didnt get touched at all?

and i say that as someone who plays blight a lot but without alc ring and the insta down thing.

This sounds more like you just miss DH. Blights add-ons need deleted (already said that) and I have no clue why they are not. Nerfing dead hard but not nerfing strong add-ons are two different cases. Had you made a post about how gen regression was heavily nerfed but all the gen progression left alone that would make more sense. Also fyi DH does not counter insta-down at all. You have to be injured which means you are one shot material anyhow. An insta down/exposed hit takes you from healthy to the floor so it actually counters DH.

Pretty wide consensus is that Killer is way more stressful than Survivor. If you don’t think so, you are either messing around or don’t play Killer.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/comment/3422793#Comment_3422793

Your criteria are arbitrary and you think they should be set in stone. At least many Killers wait till there is a perceived wrong to be distasteful, SWF decide on a Head On/Flashbang or Sabo squad before the game even starts.

Sorry for the delayed response late afternoon gets really busy for me. I actually do not disagree at all with your SWF statement (100% facts). What I do know is solo's take the blunt end of the retaliation. Every time a bully squad tears into a killer, a group of solos pay the price the following trial. In the end it all comes down to everyone taking this RNG riddled game and making is comp. It's ridiculous and takes a large portion of the responsibility for the decline in this game (along with content creators). People need to chill.

  • I see you need an elaboration so here goes. Sometimes killers might need to tunnel or camp to try to make pressure later in the game I do this sometimes as well. That is strategy and can sometimes turn a game around that's not going well. In your post however you tunneled (targeted) a specific player because they beamed you or sabo which is just playing the game. can you see the difference? One is being used as a last resort to attempt to win and the other is a killer salty they did not pay attention and got outplayed.

Yes. Sometimes you get a down out in the open where you can't protect yourself from a beamer but there are just as many situations where you can bait the beamer out and switch targets (give or take situation). Usually you can switch target hooks when they try to sabo as well very rarely does a perfect sabo happen. Tunneling and camping are raising the kill rates to a point the devs think killer is fine. I wish there was a way to dismantle these strats so killers can be buffed but won't happen with the current state of the player base. Regardless I don't have an issue with tunneling/camping per se but I do in the situation you describe.

Undying, Devour, Blood Favor, Pentimento....Drop a drone on each of your totems at start of match also Haunted Grounds instead of Blood Favor works too I just get more value from BF as they rarely get to cleanse anything.

    Corrupt, Jolt, Game afoot, Rancor

These are my most valuable builds on her as I refuse to play 3-gen game.

could say the same thing to every killer that only mind-games while the rest of us want to have fun simple games they continue to tryhard. Part of the game, sure. Incredibly aggravating while playing a stressful role, absolutely. You can play how you want but don’t be surprised when they sabo or gen rush (BNP) or flashlight save the argument goes around and around

I am in support of solo buffs but survivor could never be more stressful than killer. You actually get downtime (Gens, healing, totem, etc) where as the killer is full go entire match. I actually play games on my phone or listen to music while doing my primary objective as survivor. I could never do this as killer. I don't agree with OP either...sounds like the survivors were targeted for playing the game.

With gen regression removed, swfs can literally just crank gens with no punishment. It's honestly out of control. I just played a match with 4 bnps, in which the match lasted about 5 minutes.i couldn't get any pressure either.

They must have been trolling you in endgame if it took 5 minutes to end the game with 4 bnp. I find it mind torturing that certain things are still in this game in 2023 like bnp, syringe, Nurse, Blight's add-ons, MDR/DCB, Ultra tombstone, Pinhead, Pinheads box working with FD or hoarder, Certain aspects of Knight/SM, GoJ, Badham, Freddy and PH add-ons, just realizing I could do this all day so I will stop.

I play on console, and I used to be fairly good at oni, but then I started maining Demo and Doctor, so I lost basically all of my muscle memory with oni. The thing ive wanted to get good at most is flicks and when and when not to activate blood fury.

Get your muscle memory back is my suggestion. All killers can be played well enough to win most games on console except for the abomination called "The Trickster". Still have no idea why his knives operate like a CoD LMG.

Made it to this giant milestone on Steam and still am missing 17 achievements including adepts for Plague, Hag, and Knight. Guarantee a large chunk of this time was spent playing Spirit before and after her nerf.

Don't feel bad I have over 4000 hrs and that's with barely playing over the last nine months since the game is dog water right now. I swear this game gets worse for both sides each patch. Still come check the forums each day praying for the best though 😕

And what next they might make a killer who wears nothing but ripped underwear and with a sexual appearance

spirit? Who was planned to be even more naked than what we got iirc?

LOL you beat me to it.

Man killer mains ######### up. Complaining so hard about DH. Now literally every surv is running lithe, SB or balanced landing and it is annoying af.

You know what I liked about DH? You could counter it, SO easily. You can't counter any of these other exhaustion perks and it is driving me up the wall.

Whereas with DH once I figured out who had it, it was the easiest perk in the world to counter. And now I've got uncounterable speed boosts in practically every chase. Love it.

SB, Lithe, and BL all have something in common for my gameplay. It's called a choice. Someone speeds off into the sunset I immediately head towards gens to find another target. DH however did not poke it's nose out until your deep asf into the chase where it feels like you got robbed of a down. On top of that I never felt like it was a good decision to leave someone who DH because I already spent all this time getting 2 hits might as well commit for the third. Not to mention the whole sniffing ass every chase waiting it out got played the ######### out.

Edit: it's ok to have your own opinion on DH but to downplay the effect it had in trials as some worthless easy to deal with perk is not it. If DH was so useless like you claim so often it would not have been the most used perk consistently.

    https://forums.bhvr.com/dead-by-daylight/discussion/374598/nemesis-is-extremely-boring

I encourage you to play nemesis and see for yourself how utterly weak you can feel. The requirement of hitting 3 times means you are spending 90% of your chase catching up,at loops or even in the open whips are seldom guaranteed. He can only do so while you are in an animation, else his hitbox is so narrow you can dodge it quite consistently.

Even more counterplay can be found in his early game.At tier 1 he feels like the worst killer in the game.If you hit a survivor you just give them a speed boost. They can pre drop you just like a clown. You have to hit 2 different survivors to tier up(so 2 rough chases).

His zombies are weird. You can have a match where zombie screw you over and feel opressive, but other times they can even mess with the killer(they can bodyblock him).

If you play him for over 20 matches i assure you,you will have a greater respect and more fun facing him.His whip is a fun mindgame similar to huntress,if you can't dodge it to a decent degree then thats a skill issue.

He is low tier, however his chase isn't.His early game is rough, and his ability to pressure the map is limited.A strong chase is his strong suit, thats to be expected.

A good phead will use his power as a zoning tool or on guaranteed hits.He is also a top tier tunneler and doesn't need to hit you 1 million times. If you don't find him stronger then you are facing weak killers and you are inexperienced.

Your crouching argument makes no sesnse. If i jump over a Long wall or shack nemesis either whips me and can't hit me,or i simply walk away while he is holding it out.He is significantly slower, and it takes him a good second before he can interact with the window again.Keeping the whip out while walking around the window is something i've never seen done as a successful strategy, since it would take him forever to catch up.

This. I can't remember the last time I agreed with 100% of a post and I've been lurking on the forums for years.

  • @Jejune said:

Whats the point of the match if I dont trust the game to reveal him. I am literarally dying to make sure he is in fact revealed and run into ######### on the map.

I usually don't have a problem with revealing him normally but there is distance, angle, along with the add-ons he has that all plays a part in revealing him. As a Ghostface enjoyer myself I can guarantee for every expose he gets for not being revealed there just as many where he is revealed while crouched behind a rock or wall. Give and take pretty much.

Also just to be clear if he's leaning out from behind something he can't be revealed unless someone is stalking him from behind.

Well, I guess I need to "git gud". Going against her is difficult and I also use her so I'm pretty confident when it comes to knowing what to do.

I'm not one of those buddy I'm just not seeing it. Most certainly does not mean I don't believe your experience. Sorry if it seemed that way.

The 3-gen tactic has not changed much following her nerf. Essentially, she can still hold a match hostage (especially if it is a small one such as Haddonfield).

Wasn't that an issue in general on Haddonfield? Before the latest patch she could lock down a 3-gen and regress any progress very very quickly using the gen kick perks. I just don't see how she could be getting progress to regress well enough to cause a stalemate (hostage).

I really wish I could have fun playing survivor. But every Killer seems to really suck at playing the game that they have to resort to tunneling and camping. Behavior needs to do something about the state of the game and the toxic way killers play.

Both sides play in very unfun ways. I hate tunneling/camping (early) as much as the next but both sides are ruining this game right now. Everyone acts like DBD is this competitive million dollar tournament game and it's just not. There is too much of a difference in power between killers and way to much rng for it to be. Everyone wants to be a comp sweat lord and the devs fed into it with mmr.

  • I know I'm most likely in the minority here but I don't mind her after the nerfs to gen kick. Perhaps I have been lucky with the SM's I have faced can someone enlighten me on what the problem is now? I would take her over Nurse/Blight all day. I honestly wish Nurse/Blight would be deleted from the game so m1 killers can get the buffs they deserve instead of "can't do that it makes Nurse/Blight even stronger". Blight with some tweaks would be fine but Nurse needs to retire.

  • Mostly just chat/messages to be honest.

This thing is basically a better Spine Chill. You know the split second the Killer’s Terror Radius appears. People keep saying it’s not a buff. Seriously no one else listens to stuff in the background, gets distracted, or has a distant terror radius drowned out by other sounds?

    @NoHookDC said:

Don't you love how Survivors get an insta-Spine Chill effect, but Killers getting a bigger FoV is 'impossible' and 'would be unfair'?

Oh yeah, and when struggling was changed to a skillcheck (Another disability-based change, like this heartbeat); the devs gave Survivors a buff by allowing hitting the skillchecks to cut down on the time the Killer could carry them.

It like any QoL change has to come with a Survivor buff. I imagine the devs will, one day, put in an FoV slider. But the patch notes will also say something like 'To compensate, Survivors can now blind Killers from any angle. Even directly behind.'

    😂😂🤣😂😂

The reaching is strong with these ones.

Sunk cost and because there's not really any alternatives.

I've been enjoying Dead Island 2 (although I think it's turning me into a psycho) and Jedi Survivor.

Can't wait to try DI2. Glad you have been enjoying it. My DBD playtime has dropped quite a bit over the last year (for more than a few reasons) as after 4000 hrs I hit a wall I can't seem to climb. Monster Hunter Sunbreak dropped on Xbox Thursday night and I have not played anything else. On top Redfall comes this Friday so....Could be the end of my DBD time for who knows how long. I still wish DBD the best and hope they finally take the next step with this game. You know besides new killer, survivor, nerf, buff.

This perk used for anti-heal and it was fine. But now, CoH and medkits nerfed into ground. So this perk is not fine anymore. Here my reasons why i don't think this perk is busted now:

    • This perk is the biggest reason why Solidarity, Reactive Healing and Resurgence are bad perks. Just chase survivor for 5 - 6 seconds and they will lose all value they had from these perks. Terrible design.
    • This perk makes self heal even worse. Self-Care + Botany combo or medkit, whatever you have. This perk makes self-heal so worse than before. Healing yourself is takes ages to finish.
    • It is creating free pressure for killers. They don't need to even chase you. Hit survivor and leave. If they heal, it's fine. They are not on gen, they will waste good time and you can hit them again. If they don't heal and try to do gens? This is also fine because this means you will get downs faster. Sloppy is creates lose/lose scenarios for survivors.
    • If survivors stop self-heal and try to altruistic healing, this is also free pressure for killer. 2 survivors are not on gen and healing slowly.
    • And now this perk is on every killer's build. You will see this perk even more than old Ruin. Or they will bring add-ons which have same effects (Some killers have this type addons).
    • And also Thana is rising to meta again. If you stay injured, Thana will slow your gens. If you don't stay injured, you are not on gens and this is also good slowdown for killers. Thana is works so good with anti-heal builds now since self heal gutted.

So like i said, this perk was fine before. But now , after all of healing nerfs this perk can not stay in the game like this. We nerfed CoB because it was in every game before nerf. Now it is Sloppy. I hope there is plans to make this perk more fun and fair for both sides.

I really don't see how anything really changed with sloppy. It's being ran more because of the slowdown nerfs. Base healing is the same, hemorrage is the same, the heal increase from sloppy is the same and thana is dog ass unless all four are injured. I think sloppy is just the next big thing to whine about like sprint burst or Lithe.

Edit: Sloppy is best ran on m1 killers. IMO they get the most value so is there a complaint against m1 killers now?
