yes, thats the only real way to get value out of basement hooks. if you aren't staying near it its wasted time
-
its not really possible to fix since it has to do with the amount of people playing each role
its 4 survivors per 1 killer, survivor queue times are bound to be long
-
old fast vault angles
-
thats what happens when the ranking system is way too forgiving
-
the bonus bp mechanics from Barbecue and wglf should be base kit to incentivize switching targets as killer and getting saves as survivor- also helps with the grind and gives freedom for builds
obsessions should spawn no matter what so the killer cant tunnel without the chance of getting dsed.
visionary shouldn’t have a cooldown and it should show the progress of the gens through the auras.
-
im buying Elodie with shards, not getting the twins. It seems like theyre gonna release an unfinished version of them and i really dislike that.

ash

its not bad at all, but some structures and loops still need to be addressed (like god bus and house of pain, i have no idea why the devs are keeping these loops)
bloodlust is a bandaid for bad map and loop design, which most maps arent bad anymore.
-
hunk
-
good, its such an outdated mechanic
-
either Elodie or Felix because im pretty sure they know the most about the entity
-
this is why obsessions should spawn no matter what. problem solved
-
i like making my survivors look cute
also, i play the game a lot so there’s honestly no reason not to by the rift since i get my money back anyway
-
annoying because of the on screen effects
also doesn’t help that most people shock spam which makes the effects more frequent...
-
it depends on the map, skill of the survivors, and their perks
if they all have meta perks and its a survivor sided map, i think its a win
if they have one its a tie
if neither its a loss
-
yup, its most likely coming in the next mid chapter
most of the time killer reworks come in the mid chapter to spice the gameplay up since chapter updates always have a new killer
-
it takes away any interaction with the killer from the other 3 survivors, which will make the game boring
also, the game becomes a gen rush fest to get out of the game as soon as possible, so most of the time the game is done in less than 5 minutes

I like to do gens and avoid killer at all cost im horrible at chases and get downed within the first 30 secs
id suggest sprint burst, urban evasion, spine chill, and an off perk of your choice (can be anything you really like)
sprint burst is one of the best exhaustion perks in game since it lets you do unsafe gens safely when its up. also, you get a lot of distance with it without really thinking of pathing in chase
urban because you like being stealthy- BUT, dont urban around the entire match. id suggest only actually using urban for when the killer is near you, because you’d be wasting time if you urban’d everywhere
spine chill is to show you when the killer is actually coming to you, so you know when to be stealthy and hide. its also really versatile as you can use it in chase- if you can master using the information gained from it you'll know what the killer is trying to do most of the time
also, one perk to stay away from: self care. although it can sometimes be useful, it wastes a LOT of time so it isn't really worth running without a full healing build. Also, you can just bring a medkit to free up the perk slot, anyway.
and a general tip for survivor- against a good killer, most of the time its a very good idea to take the agro off of the other survivors eventually, even if you go down fast. You have to separate hooks across all survivors because the match will turn into a 3v1 very fast if you don’t.
-
before i suggest anything, whats your playstyle?
-
ignore them. you bought the game and his chapter so you can play whoever you want
-
no, this would make everyone just tunnel off second hook because nobody will have ds
just make it so ds has a deactivation condition so its solely an anti-tunnel perk (like hooking someone else will deactivate ds)
-
i dont like it atm, but its starting to grow on me
-
after seeing their most recent new maps (midwich, dead dawg, yamaoka) im kinda glad that they’re focusing on overhauls
-
no
ill run bloodpact instead
-
personally i run im all ears/infectious fright/monitor/and Bbq
im all ears is for easier downs/hits through walls
infectious is for situational awareness and to have a no brainer on when to cage someone
monitor is to buff infectious and to make it so i get closer to survivors (especially since his terror radius music is pretty quiet, you can get closer than usual)
and bbq is for bloodpoints
-
both, but usually swf. playing with randoms gives me headaches
-
blight body with the neon mask and knife
-
you know... you can just... back up to not get head on’d?
-
devotion 9, level 72
-
freddy by far
spirit and bubba are also pretty easy to learn

Unfortunately, the whole "Fall from a great height" stipulation is super vague and fickle. While shorter drops will activate Balanced Landing (like hills or a handful of Autohaven/Coldwind tiles), they don't seem to be tall enough to count towards these challenges.
You really just want Haddonfield or Springwood for this, because the second floors of all the suburban houses should be tall enough and relatively easy to reach while in chase. Dropping between floors on The Game might work too.
All I know for sure though is that you'd better hope you don't get Shelter Woods; it has no verticality whatsoever.

It worked for me when I vaulted something that caused a drop, such as windows on Haddonfield upper floors. Try that, maybe it doesn't work if you just fall off someone and it has to be a vault.

Easiest to guarantee this challenge will work on Hawkins or Midwich.
Be chased on Midwich and drop from either of the 2nd floor openings down into the center courtyard.
On Hawkins, get chased up to the 2nd floor near the isolation room gen, then drop down the large hole in the floor of the adjacent room.
I used these two maps whenever this challenge appeared.
A 2nd floor fall all the way down to the ground from the main lodge in Ormond also grants success.
If you still aren’t awarded the challenge on any of these drops, then a bug is easier to rule the cause.
thanks!

its a weird bug when someone crashes in the loading screen
if someone crashes at a certain point in the loading screen, the match loads for everyone else and cancels after like a minute
-
ds needs a deactivation condition, not a number tweak

Pretty sure you have to be in a chase for this one to work.
i was being chased everytime i fell off something
-
im thinking its gonna be a wendigo
-
i only use the iridescent rarity charms and a couple of grey charms, other than that the rest are pretty boring and worthless
especially the charm that has 4 different variants... such wasted space
-
i felt that rn, i miss putting people to sleep 💔
-
if you dont really like killer, you could try running meme builds when playing survivor or do stupid challenges in game
but like everyone else is saying, limiting yourself to only playing survivor will definitely make the game stale since it’s only half the game
-
visionary, its literally just a dumbed down Deja Vu with a cooldown
-
nothing? its just a game, if i get stomped i use it as a learning experience
-
his reveal mechanic is very buggy, and he can get really boring because his power is essentially just stealth
-
been trying to win without slowdown perks on all my killers- feels more rewarding when i do win
-
you just got outplayed stop complaining
entitled survivors nowadays smh
-
pigs crouch and dash has a bunch more versatility than people think, and it has pretty decent mindgame potential at small loops
also, on certain maps some loops can become dead loops (like the tractor on coldwind maps) with her dash
edit: forgot to mention that most of her dash stuff is pretty easy to learn, you just gotta practice a bit. Scorpionz has a lot of really good tips and shi with dashes, and since there’s too much to type tbh it’d be best to watch one of his videos
-
split up and dont heal, if you do that legion is an m1 killer with no power
-
there should definitely be something in the game to combat this, it doesn't make sense that there isn’t
like, maybe once your slug timer hits 65% you can press a button instantly die on the floor?
-
its probably gonna be a couple of legendary skins (probably hopper for steve and joyce for nancy) and a couple of teasers for the new season
-
there were literal infinites. in the old wretched shop (autohaven map) every window was open, so it was literally impossible to catch a survivor if they wanted to abuse it
also, shack was completely different. it had 2 windows and one entrance, was also an infinite
-
run whatever you want
-
quick
guess which one costs 400 AC, while the other is a base cosmetic
