the on screen effects are pretty atrocious to me.
-
a lot of legions stack slowdown perks, and with mending it becomes an extreme m1 simulator which isn’t really fun to play against
for doctor, its mostly the on screen effects for me. also don't like the same “hold m1 to get rid of his effects” too.
-
we’ll make it, botany knowledge, desperate measures, and empathy for the ultimate healing build
technically, botany and desperate measures could help you out, but i was just thinking of a “never heal yourself” type of thing
-
the thing about slinger is that the survivors skill is moot if the slinger is good enough. Its physically impossible to dodge his speargun if he's close (which will happen eventually, since the killer is faster than survivors) so it leads to braindead gameplay of predropping every pallet, which isn't fun for either side.
also, there are plenty of killers that change the survivors playstyle in chase but are fun to go against, like Huntress, Bubba, Billy, Demo, Blight, Pig, and Nurse.
-
dont rely on 360s, get better at looping
-
to play against: blight and billy
to play as: blight, huntress, spirit
-
fixing the memory leak issue
-
the only thing i dislike about him is the on screen effects while being shocked and screaming, its really not pleasant to look at
-
- Deactivation conditions for ds- id like to see ds deactivate if the survivor gets healed or if someone gets hooked (with the same timer.) also, id like the timer to stop when in chase.
- Deactivate unbreakable if DS is active- small pp build is no more
- nerf exhaustion perks to actually revolve around skill, and not just a press of a button to outplay the other side
- map overhauls for Haddonfield, fractured cowshed, and ormond.
-
the JRM, Ayrun, Geistra, Jendenise, and Coldphazon are pretty fun survivors to watch
also like watching Zubat and Umbra but they usually play killer
-
you know a killers POV is awful when you cant even see over the shack window
-
i just played Myers with a mori as back up, you dont need to have devour hope proc to get the challenge done
-
they're cosmetics. you don't have to pay for them if you don’t like them.
-
Yes. ive been having a really good time playing blight and PH
-
theyre cool, but most of the perk changes aren’t that substantial to shake up the meta.
the only perks i can see being somewhat useful are trails of torment and and thana, but it depends on what thanas new numbers are. the rest are still pretty bad
-
i mained Trapper but never used any traps when i first started playing
-
if you let him get there before you get 3-4 gens done, play stealthy. or play how you would against a Plague
-
id say Zarina for survivor and Huntress for killer, with Zarina over huntress
-
its really disappointing tbh
most of the buffs aren't even that substantial to make the perks good, either. they're all still pretty bad perks to run (except trails of torment and thana, but it depends on the number buffs for thana)
-
for me, its mostly the RNG factor on if you cleanse Undying first or if you have to go through 4 ruins.
Also, for solo queue its incredibly oppressive since getting undying and ruin out of the way fast is a team effort- which most people don't do totems, and it leads to no gens getting done when pressure starts being applied.
-
There's still the PTB, not every change is set in stone for live.
-
Yes, there are way too many problems in the game as of now that deserve immediate attention (optimization, bugs, server latency, etc.)
not to mention, a LOT of these issues have been going on for years, like the memory leak issue and horrible optimization. The game really should not run as bad as it does when the graphics really don't look demanding at all.
-
I like the direction the devs are going with him- increase the cooldown on cancelling rights of judgement, but lowering the missed attack cooldown for punishment of the damned.
Now, his power actually requires forethought and not just "lemme stick my sword in the ground for free zoning and hits."
-
why, just because someone has TTV in their name doesn’t mean they’re good
-
blight is more fun, but if you’re a casual killer he can be pretty hard to play- especially if you’re on console or play with a controller. He had hex undying though, which is a very good perk to run with ruin- id even say its meta (but only with ruin.) that alone make him worth it imo. his other perks are pretty bad too, but can be fun for meme builds
Doctor is easier to play, but not as fun imo. Also, counters stealth so you can end immersion situations easily. Also, he has monitor and abuse, which is really good on a lot of killers. his other perks are really bad though.
-
one of the worst maps in the game. the design is alright, but the gameplay is beyond boring for both sides
-
the game needs options for colorblind people
-
no. there should always be a very short timer first for the people who have to dc over a bug or internet issues
-
doubt it’ll ever happen, no matter what the meta for survivor will be second chance perks
-
its a tie between deathslinger and pyramid head
-
the only change i want to unbreakable is to disable it if ds is active. other than that it’s completely fine.
if you dont want someone using unbreakable, don’t slug.
-
pig, glad i did too cause shes one of my mains
-
end the game. dcs arent fun, but farming is more boring than dying
-
dont play Freddy because the dreamworld is bugged then
and at that, dont run totems because of the Badham map. Or play over half of the roster because of the DS bug.
-
killer: probably a tie between pig and legion atm
survivor: claudette, zarina, and felix
-
yeah, i use it for distance
-
its just a bug with freddy, the dream world is incredibly dark on every map
-
nope, fps has been really good since the new patch (at least against blight on the new maps)
hawkins, lerys, and doctor still plummet the games fps for me
btw, some were as killer and survivor. i noticed when killers had animated charms the fps was worse than usual as survivor
-
its been pretty decent
survivors still really fun and i love felixs perks (except Visionary), his skins are cute too
i like Blight but theres a bug that makes it so you just cant perform certain actions at all. cant hook, cant kick pallets, cant vault windows. its really infuriating so im not playing killer until its fixed
overall: the chapter is cool, one of my favorites in a while, but the bugs have made the game literally unplayable
-
this happens with every action, but it feels like the most effected ones are lockers, vaults, and hooking
hope this gets fixed in a hotfix cause it really makes killer unplayable
-
super smooth, but certain maps are still pretty dogshit to play on (ive only seen Hawkins and the fps was still bad)
not too sure about others maps and certain killers, though
-
autohaven and asylum maps seem to be running fine as both killer and survivor (besides a glitch as killer where i cant hook certain survivors)
havent gotten the new map yet, and the only killer ive been against has been Blight so im not sure about certain killers and maps
-
its not fun being “mindgamed” simply because he started using his power, mindgames should require real effort and not “hold m2 and wait for the survivors to do something”
also, he forces survivors into lose-lose situations without having to read the survivors at all
-
kinda, the dbd twitter tweeted out this:
they said they’d keep us posted on solutions, so that makes me believe that they’re gonna add MMR back, they just need to fix it first
also, its highly doubtful that theyd spend a lot of time and money on this project yet throw it away because it failed once
-
they’re gonna most likely bring mmr back once they fix the issues it had, so its definitely staying for a long time
-
ive only bought one of the green cheryl skins and bunny legion, because they looked cute
i dont regret buying those but im not buying any other legendary skin or linked cosmetic if they dont look extremely unique and cool
-
probably dead hard and iron will
-
okay, then there’s two problems with things in the game. that doesn’t discredit peoples arguments about spirit/pyramid head/deathslinger
-
imo, the only thing he needs is some sort of change to make it so he doesn’t force the survivor into a lose-lose situations at loops without any effort on his part
It’d be better if:
- Rites of judgement had some sort of cooldown after using it, so you cant instantly cancel the power and hit the survivor with a basic attack.
- make punishment of the damned less punishing to use. Missing it gives the survivor a LOT of distance, and if the survivor is good, you most likely wont be able to hit them outside of animation locks.
- make rites of judgement less clunky to control. giving it free turning and being able to change the sensitivity of it would make him feel a lot nicer to play.
PH could easily be a very fun and skillful killer to play and play against, but there isn’t anything engaging about faking his power at every loop and getting a free hit.
-
give both killers and survivors something to do in lobby, like skirmish or like the practice range in overwatch.
decreasing the grind. Ive been playing this game for about 3 years and im only about halfway through getting this game to 100%, so i can imagine how put off newer players could feel with how much there is to do and get.
A massive revamp to a majority of the killer and survivor perk pool. the survivor meta has legit been the same since A lullaby of the dark, which came out 3 years ago, and most killer perks are so bad that they aren’t even worth running. nerfing and buffing a bunch of perks would make the game feel really fresh and fun for both sides.
