You're right. It doesn't necessarily mean that, but in this instance it does.

Moris are balanced and rarely seen, plus its actually harmful to the killer regarding rank as it hurts their emblems. Killers actually have to work to get moris now. Keys on-the-other-hand can turn a 4k into a 0k, which isn't justified at all.

Work to get moris? That’s funny. All you have to do is hook, tunnel, and kill. You know how many times I’ve gotten saved only to hear the “WHOOOOSH” from the Spirit just to get downed and moried?

One time, about a year ago I was salty at my last round so I brought in a mori on the same group. I played Spirit with double purple add-ons and I grabbed somebody off a gen in under 20 seconds and whoosed back to the hook and killed them in under a minute. I pretty sure they had a fun game. Back to the 10 minute survivor queue you go.

You only need one hook on each survivor to mori them. You don’t have to work for a mori especially if you’re a killer that quickly ends chases.

Nobody cares about their rank. Who actually cares if you black pip when you’re already in red ranks. Even if you aren’t in red ranks, who WANTS to be at red ranks?

    Keys can turn a 4K into a 0K but a mori can turn a 0K into a 4K. That’s not very justified is it?

  • @Cornpopers Nurse has a cosmetic called “Mother Mercy” which has her blonde hair sticking out of her mask.

Her Valentine’s Day cosmetic she has red hair.

So I’d say either blonde or red but I’d go with blonde as her natural.

  • Demodoggy is a cutie pie.

    Wraith is wholesome.

Plague is hot. Have you seen her walk? So regal and pristine like she knows she better than you.

  • No. Sounds are broken. Like usual.

I am also aware of this, it isn’t that bad to me but if it is a bug then I hope they fix it as quick as they can.

It’s not the worst thing that could happen. You just have to be a little more accurate on where you stop phasing.

Are you starting to play Spirit more often?

  • So many different characters to choose from.

A werewolf (or anything animalistic), vampire, mummy, or skeleton would be great.

For a licensed character I always gotta go with my boy Jason. We have Myers and Freddy. Jason is a big missing link. He isn’t an absolute necessity but would be a nice addition.

  • Oh yeah. It’s well known. I played Spirit once and I had no post-phase lunge, she just stops dead in her tracks. I do think it is a bug though

Amulet was "makes everything MUCH better without any form of downside." Anything is going to feel worse by comparison.

(Fingers crossed for Carby Guide next.)

The Amulet needed some form of a downside but it’s really not worth it to run it now. She moves slower than Wraith with Windstorm. There’s no point to run it unless you’re pairing it with Mother Daughter Ring.

I typically only use cooldown add-ons anyways so it’s not affecting me personally. It’s just another one of those add-ons that’s not worth it to run.

Also agreed that Billy’s Instasaw needs a change but I’d MUCH rather see Iridescent Head get it’s needed kick in the gut. I’ve gotten three Huntresses with instadown hatchets since the update.

  • I have zero issues with the change but I will not play Spirit until the fix the post-phase bug. She just stops in place and has zero speed boost. It’s very jarring when you’re used to it. I can play around it but I’d rather not.

I agree with @thesuicidefox that the Amulet change was a little much but I didn’t use double purple add-ons unless I was bored or had a team I knew was sweaty.

I have no issues with any other change, she’s basically the same as she was before besides the buggy non-existent post-phase lunge.

So Spirit will be on the back burner in favor of Plague for the time being :/

  • Animalistic killers would be a nice fresh change in DBD. The only thing I can really see them doing in the near future would be a werewolf type of killer. That would be dope.

  • Probably Spirit with Ghostface being a close second.

You're absolutely right, these killers are by no means weak, in fact many are very strong. What I am trying to convey is that these killers do not have high skillcaps. Skillcaps and actual strengths are separate. You can have a low skillcap killer that performs very well, Plague for instance. Her power is very easy to understand and use to its fullest potential. I think for the longevity of the game, killers that take time to learn will lead to less stale gameplay and will give us more bang for our buck when it comes to dlc killers. Hag is probably the only payed-for DLC that has a skillcap close to what should be expected of all killers. We have enough easy killers, what we need now is actually hard killers.

That is completely understandable. I feel the exact same way.

Hag doesn’t really have a high skill cap. You have to know the map layout and know where to place traps and herd survivors into your traps. I guess she’s a bit more of a strategic killer as opposed to Nurse and Huntress who are more mechanical harder to use. I believe she should be labeled as “Hard” instead of “Intermediate” as she does take a bit of skill and prediction to use properly. I just don’t find her that hard. Whenever I play Hag I tend to crush everyone and snowball easily and I don’t have as many hours on Hag as I do other killers.

Spirit and Oni are payed DLC that do not have a low skill cap. They are probably on the same level of “harder than most killers, but still not a high skill cap”. You won’t just pick them up instantly and be great with them, but they are nowhere near as hard to play as Nurse and Huntress.

One reason I think they release “low-skill cap” killers is because it is A LOT harder to play them on console. It is hard as hell to play Nurse and Huntress due to low sensitivity :/

  • Personally I believe Plague and Demogorgon are well designed killers. I have fun playing as and against both of them. I have zero complains other than the fact that survivors can deny Plague her Corrupt Purge (I always get teams who cleanse though even though I’d rather they not cleanse).

Legion is the only BADLY designed killer in my opinion. They’re just awful in every aspect and a chore to play as and against.

I haven’t played as Oni yet so I don’t have a strong opinion. Based off of gameplay I’ve seen I believe he is very strong in the right hands.

We’ve had a few good perks in the past year like Discordance, Infectious Fright, Corrupt Intervention, and Thrilling Tremors. Of course there will be duds and meme perks like Iron Maiden and Dark Devotion but perks are can always can change ya know.

I agree the add-ons are a bit stale though. I love killers that change the way they are played based on the add-ons they use, like Myers and Nurse. Add-ons could use more variety.

I want more high skill cap killers like Nurse and Huntress or killers that have their power based on elemental factors in the trial like the fog or crows. Just something unique and not seen before.

    Legion- Terrible

Plague- Strong in the right hands

    Ghostface- Strong

    Demogorgon- Solid killer

Oni- Very strong in the right hands

I don’t what there is too complain about. Of the past five killers, 4 of the them are strong killers. Other than maybe boredom.

  • @DelsKibara said:

That's strange, because I've been playing her since the patch and she still definitely has that lunge.

Really sounds like a bug then.

Do you use any of the lunge add-ons by chance. I was using the two power cooldown add-ons and I had no speed boost after phasing. It’s most definitely a bug. I’ve only played one game as Spirit after the patch though. I have heard multiple players say they’ve had the same issue.

  • Let me explain why Self Care is not a good perk.

You are doing NOTHING to advance the game. You are sitting there healing yourself probably making yourself vulnerable to Nurse’s Calling (which is very meta). If the killer has Sloppy Butcher that is even more time you aren’t doing anything to help the game. You can heal in the corner for half a minute not doing anything and you’ll get found in 10 seconds and the process repeats. I can’t even count how many times I’ve caught Claudette healing herself in a corner and I had Nurse’s Calling.

It is outclassed by other healing perks like Inner Strength, We’ll Make It, and Adrenaline which all help the game in the favor of survivors. You actually have to objectives. Inner Strength you cleanse totems. Adrenaline you have to power ALL generators. We’ll Make It you have to save your teammates. Not to mention you can bring in med-kits that can have MULTIPLE charges on them so you can heal yourself many of times.

Good survivors do not care if they are injured. They are going to focus on generators. They can prolong chases and if they have Dead Hard and they’re good at knowing when to use it, it is basically a second/third health state.

There is no point in bringing in Self Care when you have other options and you can free up a perk slot for something even better.

what perks? You mean an exhaustion perk? You can run exhaustion perks with Spine Chill

No. I guess I should have clarified more. I like perks that help me prolong a chase, lose a chase, and help my teammates so perks like Lightweight, Fixated, Inner Strength, Second Wind, Borrowed Time, Iron Will, Dance With Me, Quick and Quiet, Alert, Bond, Empathy, and Unbreakable I like the most. Spine Chill let’s me know when the killer is looking in my direction directly behind me. Okay? I don’t really care all that much. Ya know a killer can moonwalk to your location or walk sideways and your Spine Chill won’t light up at all. I know players who did that while running old Prayer Beads Spirit.

I didn’t say Spine Chill was bad, I just don’t think it is THE best perk in the game nor does it fit my playstyle. I don’t find it that useful unless I get a stealth killer and even then you can pretty much tell when they are coming like @Marcus has said (Ghostface robe flaps, Myers has loud breathing, Wraith has to uncloak before a hit, Pig also has loud breathing) plus you can listen for grass rustling and footsteps. You have to be just as attentive to sounds as survivor as you would a killer.

  • Spine Chill being THAT high is a bit of a stretch.

It’s not a bad perk but I’d personally rather run perks that help me prolong a chase because chases are the most fun part of the game on the survivor side.

  • I just played a round as Spirit and it felt so buggy. The gameplay felt super sluggish and slow and her post-phase is basically non-existent. It feels like they took it out entirely. I would exit phase and she would stop exactly where I exited phase and not have a post-phase lunge at all.

I was running double cooldown add-ons so I dunno if running post-phase add-ons would be beneficial.

I didn’t have any issues tracking even though players have claimed sounds are broken again. I run Stridor on Spirit so that might have helped.

  • I haven’t played her because I don’t want to be THAT person who plays Spirit when the new killer drops.

What I’ve been hearing is that her post-phase lunge isn’t great and her biggest nerf. I wanna try out the purple Saya and see how much it got nerfed. I still think the “Fruit Ninja Spirit” build (Katana Suba and purple Saya) will be a very long lunge when paired together. You could’ve lunged past the entire shack with those two add-ons.

Collision won’t matter if the player is good with Spirit. I never relied on collision. It actually cucked me a bit because I’d bump into an invisible wall or tire and I’d think it was a survivor hiding there so I’d cancel phase. Just open your ears and there won’t be a need for having collision.

I don’t mind a window vault. Just please...PLEASE give her a new one. The Freddy/Legion one does not fit her at all. She looks like a chimp climbing through a window. It’s terrible.

She’s still the same ol’ Spirit though. Just that most of her REALLY strong add-ons got nerfed. I don’t agree with the purple Amulet nerf though. A nerf is fine but when Wraith with Windstorm moves faster, there is an issue.

  • I like the dark atmospheres for aesthetic purposes, but gameplay wise absolutely NOT. Yamaoka was already Blendette heaven. She is practically invisible in some spots of the map.

I’ve always loved Yamaoka for aesthetic reasons, it looks beautiful. It’s one of my least favorites maps to play on though.

  • I have not played killer yet because I put all my bloodpoints into Yui. I can say that survivor feels really smooth and has improved. Can’t speak for killer.

I've gotten MANY chainsaws as Bubba, lol. Its also screwed me over... Ended a game the other day with him in about 2 minutes after sawing through the majority of the team and finishing the last guy with 2 mallets. Safety pip...

It’s well known that Bubba’s chainsaw isn’t that great. It’s just so easily avoidable and survivors can force him to M1 at strong loops. I’ve seen some really good players who main Bubba. I haven’t put much time into him so maybe I’m missing something.

I just meant that Bubba is more likely to down survivors in two hits than Billy and Plague so it’s more likely he’ll pip if he gets a 4K as opposed to Billy and Vommy Mommy.

Poor Bubba can’t even pip if you can use his chainsaw effectively. The sad life of Leatherdaddy :(

Certain killers lose out on chaser points due to how the game defines what a chase is. Typically you get chaser points 2 times while chasing a survivor. Youd get them for hitting to injure, then again for hitting to down. A killer who's power bypasses that loses out on chaser points. If I use Hillbillies saw to bring you from healthy to downed, I dont get the same chaser points as I would from using my mallet to hit you twice. Similarly, if a survivor steps in Trappers trap, and gets scooped up... thats again a lack of chaser points.

    https://us.v-cdn.net/6030815/uploads/859/QKYDT5M2MROE.jpg

This is an example of a game where I kept finding and downing ppl instantly, then hooking them up. This game consisted of 2 mallets and 3 saws, which gave me a 4k in about 2 minutes. Notice my complete lack of chaser...

It’s only for certain killers though. Billy and Plague being the main culprits. Since the meta is to not cleanse against Plague, she can kill everybody and get 28K points and not pip due to the chaser emblem. Billy has an instadown so that is obvious.

Most other killers have no problem pipping. The other instadown killers (Myers, Ghostface, Bubba) are different due to either having to work for their instadown (stalking) or being so bad that they can’t use their instadown most of the time (Bubba). So they get M1 hits a majority of the time.

I don’t find it hard to pip as most killers, but I do play Plague the most so I pip less frequently. I’m still at Rank 2 though.

  • I don’t play every day and I’m at Tier 60. It’s - bit grindy but it’s not meant to be handed to you on a silver platter. You have to work for it.

If you play killer more than survivor it is easier since survivor queues are terrible and you can more XP as a killer (due to killers having to play the entire match). At least on PS4 I get killer lobbies a lot quicker.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/884118#Comment_884118

Yeah but they're very...meh killers and Plague doesn't need tracking on injured survivors since they vomit and emit green mist

But it also gives the exhaustion status effect. Which means Plague won’t have a hard time downing survivors since they are easy to find due to being sick and exhausted (specifically talking about Dead Hard). Dead Hard basically gives you a third health state if you are good at using it.

You’re basically a sitting duck since the meta against Plague is not to cleanse.

Plus Plague is far from a “meh” killer. She is FAR above Legion.

  • I don’t BM unless the other side BM’s first. If a killer shakes their head at me and I DS them and run to the exit gate, of course I’ll teabag, point, shake my head, and flashlight click.

If a survivor teabags me and gets downed of course I’ll shake my head, hit them on the hook, and tunnel them followed by a mori spam if I have a mori (rarely do I use moris).

That just the way the cookie crumbles in an online game. Don’t take it too much to heart if the opposing side BM’s you. It makes you feel no guilt when you outplay them and win the game.

  • Because it’s waist height. It’s like a window, if you’re dumb enough to be close enough to it then it is your fault you got hit. Don’t hug the fences.

The fences are already super strong. You as a survivor have the advantage. All you have to do is not hug the fence when the killer is right on the the side.

I don’t find him unbalanced but I do think Billy is very boring. I just can’t get behind his character. Just a very plain looking character. I never enjoy facing Billy or playing as Billy. All my Billy dailies immediately get deleted.

Hawkins is the only difficult map for me, The Game and Lery’s aren’t that hard to find totems usually tbh.

I’ve learned the totem spots on The Game and Lery’s but a lot of survivors can’t find totems on those two maps. The Game has some good spots but some spots are terrible.

I will never be able to learn Hawkins. That map is a maze and I dread it as both survivor and killer. Sometimes I can’t even find the main laboratory.

Corrupt Intervention only affects 3 gens, while the other 4 can be done without than penalty. Ruin affects all gens and it's useful even if survivors hit all the great skill checks.

Both have their strengths and weaknesses.

Survivors can spawn right next to Ruin and it can be a useless perk. Although as you said, it affects all generators and if it stays up for a long period if time it’s easily a better option.

Corrupt is two minutes of those three generators being unfixable leading to you having only four generators to patrol for two minutes. It can alleviate a lot of stress early game. Plus you won’t hear the sad sound of thunder when your Ruin breaks in 30 seconds :(

I find Ruin better if it stays up for over two minutes. Corrupt just has more consistency.

I can see an argument for using either perks. It’s just a preference.

  • @GrootDude said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/875602#Comment_875602

In my experience, ruin is usually gone during my first chase or once I down them. I have a lot of matches where corrupt would’ve still been up. Like you said, it is incredibly uncommon that ruin actually last two minutes.

Usually in the games it last awhile I wouldn’t of needed it anyway.

It also depends on the map though. Survivors will have a tougher time finding Ruin on an indoor map as opposed to an Autohaven. I don’t even protect my totems on an Autohaven map because they are so easy to spot.

Don’t even get me started on the GOD totem spot on Disturbed Ward when it spawns directly in the middle of the field. I just stare at it for a couple of seconds and laugh.

A good group of survivors will just push through Ruin though. I’ve had matches as survivor where Ruin wasn’t ever broken or didn’t break until one generator was left and the killer only had about 3 or 4 hooks.

Freddy I can kind of see it being good on, but Huntress doesn't have any difference with it. You're gonna hear the terror radius only when she's right on top of you anyway; the humming is what makes most survivors prepare/hide/whatever.

Survivors can prepare themselves for Huntress by hearing the lullaby but it’s non-directional. You can’t determine how close she is by her humming. Let’s say you get Coal Tower, a very small map. She can be by the log structure and you are all the way in the top of the tower and you can still hear her humming.

You can hear Huntress humming from a mile away, it doesn’t mean you have to run though. Survivors will stick on the generator until they either physically see Huntress coming or hear the terror radius. Survivors aren’t going to hide and be immersed just by hearing the humming because she could still be a long way away. Her lullaby starts at 40 meters from your location, which is BBQ range. It’s quite a distance.

M&A can work by giving you sneaky hits because the actual heartbeat doesn’t start until you’re 12 meter from the survivor. It gives them less reaction time.

  • @GrootDude said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/875074#Comment_875074

I don’t play immersed and I always run spine chill, that early warning can save you and get some distance to start a chase.

Don’t get me wrong...I don’t think Spine Chill is useless, it just doesn’t fit my playstyle. The thing I like about survivor is the chase. I love getting chased. I would rather be chased than sit on a generator being bored. Since I like being chased I run perks that make it so I can prolong the chase as much as I possibly can.

I’ve just seen too many urban immersion Nea players and bush hiding Claudette players who have Spine Chill not do ANYTHING all match.

Spine Chill is good against all killers especially stealth killers. It’s a must have for stealth builds...I just find stealth to be very boring and not my personal playstyle.

  • @[Deleted User] said:

Overrated- Corrupt Intervention and Discordance. The worst thing that can happen to a killer is for survivors to spread out, get the middle gen, and split the map early. Corrupt Intervention forces them to do that. Discordance just shows M1 killers which gen is going to pop next.

Underrated- Agitation and M+A. Agitation gets you free hits and can straight up win the game for Trapper or Hag. Monitor is extremely underrated on 115% movement killers.

Corrupt Intervention is decent for the beginning of the game but all it does is force survivors onto another generator. I’ve only ever used it for “Adept Plague”.

Discordance is good against low rank survivors but in higher ranks they probably will be more efficient and split gens.

  • @ahandfulofrain said:

Freddy and Huntress do not benefit from M&A. I'd be willing to bet that demodaddy doesn't either.

Freddy doesn’t need it because he already have the Oblivious effect on sleeping survivors. It can be a waste so you can correct about that.

Huntress can benefit from it because her terror radius is already tiny. Sure she has a giant 40 meter humming radius but survivors aren’t going to run away right when they hear the humming since it is now non-directional. She can disorient survivors due to her giant humming and small terror radius. Not the best on her though.

Demodaddy is just like any other 115% MS killer. It can be beneficial on sneaking up on survivors. He does have LOUD footsteps though.

Spirit is a definite no-go for M&A because you want a larger terror radius because you won’t hear her phasing in a larger terror radius. The smaller the terror radius the more chance that the survivors will hear her whooshing.

A.) I said Billy and Plague do not pip easily

B.) I said Billy does not get good Chaser score

C..) You interpreted that as me saying “Billy is bad” because you hate Plague since you potato playing her and she doesn’t get good emblem scores.

So does Billy not get Chaser because he uses his Chainsaw for an Instadown, or is he forced to use his M1 (and henceforth gets a good Chaser score cause he hits Survivors twice)?

Also imagine thinking that having the best map pressure in the game makes you bad because you have to hit people normally. Yup that's certainly why Freddy has such a low kill rate. His ability to teleport to any generator on the map is offset massively by the fact that he has to attack twice like 80% of the Killers in the game.

When did I say Billy is a bad killer? What I said was he gets terrible Chaser emblem causing him NOT to pip as easily as other killers who typically get two hits on a survivor. He can win the match but he isn’t as likely to pip as Spirit who is even stronger and gets two hits.

Billy can get turned into an M1 killer on certain maps because he has no opportunity to use his chainsaw because of the map design. It’s not because the killer is bad, you just can physically use it often against an optimal group if you get a map like Lery’s or Hawkins.

Am I talking to a brick wall?

Billy actually has ######### map pressure (leading to better Gatekeeper)? Also Billy has a fast pallet break while Plague gets to sniff her bath salts at every pallet?

Billy’s map pressure doesn’t mean jack when he is turned into an M1 killer because he has no opportunity to use his chainsaw.

A LOT of killers have no map pressure but it doesn’t make them unviable. Ghostface has 0 map pressure. He does great in red ranks.

Yeah the “LOL” reaction was great. Seems like you probably got that a lot.

If my boosted ass can 4K 85% of the time in red ranks with no add-on Plague then I doubt she’s a bad killer.

  • @TigerKirby215 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/875083#Comment_875083

It's objective fact that Plague gets #########-all for emblems (due to the fact that she only hits people once per chase, hence giving her a lower Malicious score. There's also the fact that she's a default Killer who takes forever in a chase) which makes it impossible to rank up as her at high ranks. She also has zero map pressure and more-often-than-not she gets gen rushed even harder than other Killers cause Survivors aren't healing.

The only way to win as Plague is to play against potatoes who cleanse, and not just because you get your AR-15. If Survivors are wasting time cleansing then they're not doing gens, and you can infect them again by lightly coughing on them.

Yeah she doesn’t pip easily but neither does Billy. Does that make him impossible to rank up with? Billy has an instadown and doesn’t get as many hits but people still play him. If I wanted to I could always pip with Plague but I just don’t care enough. Rank doesn’t matter to me. I always end up at Rank 1 anyways.

Most survivors don’t cleanse against me and I always end up snowballing because they are all one shots. They all get pressured to cleansed when I start killing off their teammates and that’s a lose-lose scenario on their part. I prefer if they DON’T cleanse because they are easier to find and I can down them in one hit. Damned if they don’t cleanse and damned if they do cleanse. Plague still has the potential to down survivors easily.

If you can’t see Plague’s potential then don’t play her. It’s that simple. She is very solid killer. I do just fine with her and I’m FAR from the best killer.

Ehhh...I just don’t see the point. It’s like Premonition. I’d rather have perks that help me survive a chase as opposed to perks to make me immersed when there is no reason to be. The killer is behind me...okay? What am I gonna do? Lick a wall and sit there for two minutes? Because that’s what I see most players doing when they run Spine Chill.

It’s great if others find use out of Spine Chill but I just can’t.

I have Plague at P2 and have a friend who mains Plague. Neither of us have ever won a match as Plague beyond Rank 12. And before I get the infinite onslaught of "lol ######### Killer" I've gotten to Rank 1 as Wraith and have won at high ranks with Wraith, Clown, and Legion. So if I can win with "bottom tier" Killers like Wraith / Clown / Legion and can't get more than 2k as Plague if I'm lucky that's certainly a sign of something.

There's also the fact that Plague gets #########-all for Emblems, which makes playing her at high ranks a guarenteed way to derank without being "AFK."

That’s your own opinion. Doesn’t mean other players can’t do good with Plague. I’ve been playing her since her released and gotten to Rank 1 with ONLY Plague. It’s not like I destroyed noobs the whole way there either.

I can’t play Legion for the life of me and I never do good with them ever but I’m not gonna sit here and say that they are “noob stompers”. Any killer can be a noob stomper. I can destroy noobs with Nurse and I’m terrible with her.

  • KILLER

    Overrated: NOED. It’s terrible.

Underrated: Monitor and Abuse. Every killer (except Spirit) can benefit from this perk and allows them to get closer without having survivors scatter.

    SURVIVOR

Overrated: SPINE CHILL! I see so many people saying it’s a GOD tier perk. It creates immersion lords and makes players stealthy when they don’t need to be. If I have eyes or ears I can hear Myers breathing and Ghostface’s cape flapping. Sorry but I don’t need a perk to tell me when the killer is coming. Not my playstyle I guess.

Underrated: Adren...wait no. Balanc...no not that one. Oh I got it, DEJA VU!

No...seriously probably Iron Will. Everybody should run this perk. I’ve lost so many killers this way.

  • Any killer can be viable. Just depends on different factors like your skill level, the survivor’s skill level, and the map layout.

Killers that will do best against a good group of survivors are Nurse, Spirit, and Freddy. Nurse has a LARGE learning curve so I don’t recommend her. If you want a relaxed game with little stress then Spirit is the way too go. She’ll take a day or two to get used to, but once you know the basics of her power it’s super simple. Plague is also great as well. I play her the most in red ranks and I do just fine.

I’m hella boosted at times as well, we can all be a potato.

  • Billy doesn’t pip easily because chases end too quickly. Killers who use instadowns do not pip as well.

I’ve found that Plague (when survivors don’t cleanse) and Billy are the two killers who usually safety pip the most. Even when I get 29K points with Plague I don’t pip unless I get to use Corrupt Purge. I could play perfectly I still safety pip. One time I killed all four survivors and de-pipped.

Same holds true for Billy. Except he never pips well due to the chainsaw being an instadown.

This is a good approach (and PS4 does 72 hour bans when people use slurs on first offense).

I think the key to all of this isn't that we make apologies for every word anyone could be offended by. For example, if someone called me... a "chicken nugget." Well, that's just a weird thing to say, not offensive. But if someone WAS offended by this, I'd be surprised and wonder why. I probably wouldn't call them that again, but think it was a bit ridiculous.

The slurs I'm talking about are the ones the gaming community seems to employ too often that we all know are wrong. Many of us have grown up with them or become used to them. Doesn't change that it's wrong and we should know better.

I will never personally attack anyone. Calling somebody trash is different than spewing out racist/homophobic slurs that MOST people know is uncalled for and highly offensive.

If somebody calls me trash then that’s great...I’m golden trash.

Somebody saying nasty slurs doesn’t personally offended me because I’ve always guarded myself with humor and sarcasm so I find the fact that they are THAT mad to say those insults to be funny.

Some people might not be the same way though so it doesn’t make it any better on who they throw insults at.
