    What unexpected angle?

Every single one of your stealth killers gives away their position audibly when they come into range of a survivors ears except Myers while he's running add ons....And every single one of them is directional.....

Pig makes a giant roar before she jumps on someone. (not sure why that makes any sense)

    Wraith hits a giant GONG

Ghost face has a giant flag waving in the wind

    Spirit has a wind tunnel

And myers has a heartbeat unless you build him with specific items and he's in tier 1.

    "Unexpected angle"

Yeah the only people that don't expect it are people listening to blaring music in the background while they play the game. cmon bruh throw us a bone...

I have to disagree. Sure a lot of survivors are alert but once the gen starts gaining progress the little things you won’t be able to hear.

You won’t hear Ghostface coming when the gen is getting close to being completed, you have to physically look around you.

You won’t hear Pig uncrouching. If Pig wants a gen grab she’s gonna uncrouch instead of dashing.

You won’t hear Myers breathing over a loud gen.

Wraith is an exception except if he has silent bell.

And Spirit is not a stealth killer.

I don’t see the point of adding a fixed camera angle. It’ll just give Myers and Ghostface free stalk and give cheap gen grabs because the survivors couldn’t physically check their surroundings.

It’s a bad idea. Survivors get a lot of their situational awareness from simply looking around them and good killers aren’t gonna rely on gen grabs to get their kills.

That pic is so good! I Love it!

Oh God, if mods existed for this game, my GOD moders would be all over that pic!

I’ve grown a resistance to flying refrigerat- I mean hatchets.

What do you mean? Huntress is totally fine.

  • If the killer is an absolute potato then sure.

  • I wouldn’t exactly say an excuse but some players simply just don’t find some killers fun to play as and against. We all have our personal bias on what killers we find fun and who we don’t.

An example is that I am so drained and oversaturated going against Doctor. He’s the main killer I’ve gone against for the past few months and it gets old playing against the same killer over and over and over again.

Balance wise I think a majority of the killers are fine but some just don’t have exciting or fun playstyles that a majority of the playerbase likes facing. That’s why most players like facing Demogorgon and most players hate Freddy. Just two vastly different styles but one is more enjoyable than the other.

But as you said fun is subjective and not the reason to change anything.

Boring killer with very little counterplay.

    This ^

  • Freddy is my least favorite killer to face. Don’t get me wrong, I’m glad he got his buffs but he’s just not enjoyable for me personally. I never liked him.

Especially the Freddy players who stay JUST far enough away from the hook to come back and tunnel the person off the hook because Borrowed Time doesn’t work in the dream world for some reason. Like dude...you’re Freddy, what’s the point?

  • @Dwight_Fairfield said:

I do indeed. Dwight for survivor (shocking I know, I bet you all never saw that coming). Michael Myers for killer. Love making survivors believe in the boogeyman.

You main Dwight?! I could’ve sworn you were a Laurie main, just look at your name! XD

  • As a killer I played A LOT of Spirit and Plague but nowadays I play Pig the most because she’s so simple to play and I don’t feel like thinking hard.

As a survivor I switch constantly between who I have a P3 but my first one I prestiged and the one I have played the most is Meg.

  • 🥰🥰🥰 you are tooooo sweet <3.

Darn...guess I gotta Sprint Burst away. Gotta blast!

I like to Play with my Food a little, saving them so I can Bamboozle people. Sometimes I have to work with Cruel Limits to get them to work, and that can be Distressing, but I can get Fired Up and make it work. : )

Knock Out me please so I don’t have to see this anymore XD

  • YAMAOKA. Any GOOD change to that map and I’ll be happy.

  • Billy and Freddy.

Billy is a good killer don’t get me wrong, but people place him way too high on tier lists. His instadown can be denied by survivors correctly running tiles and a lot of Billy players are way too amphibious on their curves and waste time bumping into objects. Oni is better than Billy IMO.

Freddy is also a good killer but is he top tier? No. He’s like #6 or #7 to me personally. The reason he is played frequently is because he’s the easiest killer in the game to use with good results. Basically a low stress killer that you can turn your brain off and not think.

I also don’t see why Doctor is highly talking about like he is an A tier. He’s WAY better than before but you’ll still get stomped by good teams. He’s designed to be an annoyance, nothing more.

  • Spirit and Nurse are undead and Myers is basically immortal. My pick is between those three.

  • Most Nancy players I play against are very bad. Nancy is just another version of Meg.

That’s why I’m taken aback when I run into a Nancy who is a good looper just like when I run into good Megs. You just don’t expect it. Especially a default Nancy.

  • That is very true. Just wish there was an option in game to change the lobby music since they have so many unique tracks.

  • Pretty sure it’s 110%. Honestly it could be worse

  • I really wish we could pick the music we want to listen to as survivor. Survivors have to sit in queue for quite a bit longer than killers. Maybe I want to jam to Clown’s theme 🤡

Probably because they break the game more and more with every update and I'd rather want them to not release it with a ton of new bugs?

People get excited over new content because it keeps the game fresh. We’re just in a spell right now where the game feels really stale.

Whatever bugs that happen can be fixed and there is really no game breaking bugs at the moment besides sounds being completely screwed up :/

  • It all depends on how the killer plays, what killer they are playing, and how safe the pallet is.

If they are HARD respecting pallets or keep swinging early and I’m at a long wall, you better believe I’m looping that pallet for as long as I possibly can.

Killers that don’t respect pallets are the most threatening though. I typically won’t respect pallets as killer, I usually eat them especially if it’s a pallet I hate like those Ormond/Yamaoka pallet loops with a long wall right beside it.

  • I don’t understand why you have to be a negative nancy

  • Because the survivor sided maps are more abundant and problematic.

Swamp maps are not killer sided. Pale Rose is about a 50/50 but Grim Pantry has never been killer sided. That main building is still pretty strong. Plus the docks on that maps are dumb structures.

Shelter Woods is arguably the only killer sided map which I agree needs a change. It is a fairly large map though so it evens it out a little.

  • The most low stress killer I play is Pig. I play her when I don’t wanna think hard about the game. She’s one of the most straight-forward killers without a frustrating power. Plus if I lose I don’t feel bad like I would playing a top tier killer.

  • Nobody is forcing you to play those killers. You just think you have to play those killers because they’re stronger.

You think Deathslinger and Huntress are better? I've always seen Myers as better than Huntress tbh purely because of his power's nature, and by default Deathslinger too. Doc is strong now, but he's not as good as Myers imo.

Huntress can snowball at any point in the match and Myers has to hope they’re all grouped up when he pops his EW III. Plus Huntress has very wonky hatchet hitboxes so she’s basically throwing refrigerators at survivors. Huntress is just better in a chase than Myers is. An average player will do better with Myers but if it’s a GOOD Huntress played to her full potential then she’s going to win more frequently.

And I think Deathslinger is better than Huntress is.

If anyone ranked Myers above Doc I wouldn’t disagree. They’re interchangeable to me personally.

  • Myers was at one point a top tier killer but more killers have released after him that are simply better like Huntress, Spirit, Plague, Oni, and Deathslinger. Then the Freddy and Doc rework pushed them a lot further up the tier list.

At BEST I put Myers a spot below Plague. I think Myers has one of the best snowball potentials in the game and is a great killer but he is very susceptible to being pallet looped. He has no way to cut off pallet loops. He can easily negate window loops with his faster vaulting speed (especially with Bamboozle) though.

I think Myers is still a great killer but he has no map pressure and no way to stop pallet loops, he has to rely on snowballing the entire team which is harder for him than it would be for a killer like Oni.

  • From what I’ve seen I have to go with Umbra, but she does get a lot of potatoes. Even from her mouth she said that bad survivors can make any killer player look good.

But a majority of the playerbase are not hardcore players, they’re just casual.

  • Who said this is the change we need? I’ve never heard anyone say this was the change WE need.

Having the Spirit rely strictly on sound is good in theory, but this game is buggy. Sounds are broken. Sometimes survivors make zero footsteps and make no injured moans even if they do not have Iron Will equipped. All that change would do is make Spirit more frustrating to play as. There has probably been a time where a Spirit has lost you in a chase because you were bugged and made no sounds whatsoever.

Plus, Stridor doesn’t completely counter Iron Will. You’re still making quieter injured moans, it’s not at the max volume and you’re still hard to hear (depending on the survivor you are playing). I’ve still lost people in a chase as Spirit with Stridor when they had Iron Will.

If the mechanic is not consistent like @thesuicidefox said, she shouldn’t have to rely on that. It would just make her a shell of what she once was.

  • Favorite as survivor: Disturbed Ward. It’s just too good for survivor.

Least favorite as survivor: Hawkins (Hawkins is a close second for killer as well)

Favorite as killer: Azarov’s Resting Place

    Least favorite as killer: Y A M A O K A. I hate that map so much.

We agree. I don't shame. I turned chat off, and just play. If I don't look at chat, the complaining has no power. :) I do enjoy a good debate in the forums though. People here are generally nicer than in game chat.

I’ve gotten hatemail before but I’d say about 85% of the messages I get are either positive or someone genuinely curious on why I made certain decisions in game and they’re usually understanding.

I’m amused when people are so upset over a video game

  • Yay. Let’s give survivors a fun and interactive experience.

    1. Xenomorph
    2. Jason
    3. Pennywise
    4. Candyman
    5. Pyramid Head

I’m a HUGE fan of the Alien and F13 series but seeing the Xenomorph would be the coolest to me personally.

I've already stated on these forums how I think hag is one of the best killers in the game, because sometimes I can be chasing 2-3 survivors at the same time. "Territorial" to me means camping.

I don't think anything is wrong with camping, to clarify. There are only 3 things worth defending in the game, hooks, generators, and hex totems.

But I also don't think it is a particularly hard playstyle. Sitting in a corner with a shotgun in call of duty isn't hard, but it is very effective.

I agree that Hag is not a hard killer to play but she’s definitely not one of the easier ones because if you have no map awareness or know where to places traps or if the survivors have the right counters then you’re screwed.

Hag isn’t mechanically hard like Nurse or Huntress but she’s not as simple as a killer like Myers where you stare at survivors and get results that way. She has to put in effort to get her results.

Players can play Hag in a very campy way and there isn’t anything wrong with that because they bought the game and they aren’t exploiting anything. Just be prepared to get flamed in the post-game chat.

I agree with what you stated, I just believe Hag is a bit harder to play that people let on especially if the survivors have her counters. She isn’t HARD but she isn’t easy mode either. Depends on how you play Hag. Stringing your webs together takes effort and a bit of luck. Hard camping is simple as can be.

I play hag when i want an easy game. And I have played her extensively at rank 1. Those are my opinions of her, as well as many other popular rank 1 streamers if you don't agree.

You need to know how to loop with hag, since you need to know where to place the traps optimally. It is the same with trapper. But as far as mechanically executing it after that? It is mashing control, or mousewheel down, depending on your keybind preferences, and then collecting your free hits.

"Don't commit to chases, set up your traps in one area" BUT SHE'S NOT MADE FOR CAMPING. Like cmon, at least listen to what you are saying yourself.

Hag is a territorial killer like Trapper and if you’re not playing her territorial then you aren’t playing her to her fullest potential.

Saying that though, you still have to be GOOD with Hag in order to play her and not get stomped against good teams. You have to spend quite a while setting up your web of traps, knowing where to place your traps, and herding survivors into your traps. A baby Hag that hards camps with all her traps and doesn’t leave the hook will lose unless the team is super altruistic.

Hag also has HARD counters like flashlights, OoO, and simply crouching. Boring counters? Yes but you can easily counter her. I wouldn’t say playing Hag is an “easy game”.

And if you think Hag has no map pressure then you are delusional. She arguably has the best map pressure in the entire game because she can chase and juggle all the survivors at one time.

If you don’t like Hag then that is all good, many people don’t Hag for basically the same reason. I just don’t see how Hag has “0 map pressure” and how Hag equals an “easy game”.

By the way, who really cares what popular Rank 1 streamers say? People take their opinions like it’s gospel. Players need to formulate their own opinions about killers rather than piggy-backing on what popular streamers say. It’s so annoying.

  • @Poweas You know I love me some Haggy. I know people don’t like her but I honestly wish she was played more often, it a novelty just to see her.

Random question but what is your main cosmetic set on Hag? I used to use the Mud Medusa set but I’ve grown to really like the blue cabbage Hag.

  • Edward Scissorhands...I mean, Kreddy Frueger...I mean, The Nightmare...I mean, Dream Boi...I mean, you know exactly who I’m talking about.

  • People who run bright clothes are probably more confident in their ability to survive. They don’t care if you see them. Seeing a Neon Nea you know she’s probably not going to care if you chase her, she WANTS to be chased. That Blendette is going to crouch in a corner and not wanna be seen though.

Personally I like bright clothes on my characters. They’re the cutest.

  • Dude don’t you know that Plague is basically a mummy and she fills the role of a mummy PERFECTLY. We basically already have a mummy because of Plague.

Ahhh, sarcasm is my strongest feature for sure XD

  • I would love Creature from the Black Lagoon but I don’t see how they would implement his power as it should most certainly revolve around water.

  • You have to slug if you want to win against good teams. If you always pick up survivors right after you down them, you WILL lose against teams who are good.

A slug can’t do a gen. It applies pressure.

  • More: Steve. I love Steve so much ❤️

    Less: BUSH BLENDING CLAUDETTE

  • His counterplay and playstyle is uninteresting and not enjoyable to me personally. There is nothing you can really do to make him “fun” for players who don’t like facing him. Doesn’t mean he needs heavy changes, he’s just not one of the enjoyable killers.

Some killers have enjoyable counterplay even though it’s hard to win against them if they are good like Huntress and Nurse. Unpopular opinion but I think Spirit is enjoyable to face (if you have Iron Will which I always run). Freddy just isn’t one of the killers many people enjoy facing.

Players don’t like “slowdown effects” because it drags the game on for longer than it needs to be and that is what Freddy excels at, dragging the game on for far too long. Holding M1 on a gen is not what players want to do, that is why Forever Freddy was so disliked.

Pair the slowdown effects with the fact that he isn’t as enjoyable as most killers in a chase is why he is so heavily disliked. In AND out of a chase is very resident sleeper.

  • The hatch is fine as it is. Unless you want to search for twenty minutes trying to find that Blendette in the corner of the map. That’s what happened when hatch wouldn’t spawn for the last survivor until at least two gens were done.

It’s basically just a “who gets there first” scenario. Which is 10X better than what it was before.

I simply don’t care if the last survivor gets hatch. Who cares? I’ll move on to the next game perfectly fine.

    Interesting.

Doc and Freddy are some of my secondary mains, but I don’t have this same issue as I do with Clown.

    *hears HHHWWWEEEERRRR*

”Was that David or Jeff?!?! Wait... there wasn’t any David or Jeff in lobby. Dammit I’m looking for nobody.”

My mains are Spirit and Plague and I have a pretty good idea of their breathing by now. Spirit has an ambient sound she makes but her actual breathing is very similar to a female survivor breathing. You only her it from her POV though because she is so loud from the survivor’s POV. Plague (as you should know because I know you played her quite a bit) has longer shaky breathing that can be mistaken for a survivors breathing. It’s not as easily distinguishable as a killer like Myers.

Sometimes when I hear a little exhale of air I look around me thinking that it is a Claudette or Feng nearby me in a bush but it was just Spirit/Plague breathing so I know what you mean. It can definitely throw you off especially against immersed survivors.

  • More: Myers, Demogorgon, Oni

    Less: Freddy, Billy, Ghostface

  • Of course you’ll see a default Nea and think “she’s probably new and she’s gonna crouch around the map with Urban Evasion” and then you see a Neon Nea with the pink hair piece and think “she’s probably decent and gonna be a pain in the ass to deal with”.

But no I don’t fear them because I wear auric cell cosmetics and I know it doesn’t translate to skill in the game. Just means they wanted to look cute dying.
