Last stats tell us she is pretty good.
-
Yes, this happens often sadly.
I think your idea could work but i am not sure they will change the mechanic.
Someone suggested a corrupt intervention perk for totems. Also not a bad idea.
-
Uff, no thanks. It is good that there is no chat on consoles.
And for some people here it would be better if they were strong enough to close their PC end game chat as well.

Ever any official confirmation on this?
Why should they? The can tell whatever they want in interviews.
For my part - i don´t want this game dying - i like it. I want it to improve.
-
When you are not in higher MMR you can play pretty casual.
And you need to ignore the occasional sweat games you get.
-
Flashlights can make you angry.
Wanted to play casual for red glyphe but got looped and flashed by Jake a lot. I killed him. In the end chat i said sorry but you annoyed me. And he "why was i annoying" :-)

Her biggest buff will be a nerf to COH.
That would be a buff for all killers.

Nice idea.
You should remove downvotes completely - just like youtube.
People could sometimes feel offended when downvoted.

I don't but I try my best to not be an idiot.
That is already more than a lot of others do.
-
I saw this randomly.
The killer gets blinded - or it looks so - but he did not drop the carried surv.
-
The cooperative heals or gens took me quite some time.
-
I got it on PC on day 8.
I bought the dlc and have both adepts.
-
I try to play a bit more casual.
Especially if i come across "the squads"... i get them every around 4-10 games atm.

Well, I like the solo survivor perspective. I just tend to not play that way because as we all know it can lead to many... shenanigans.
I say the W is so strong on RPD because you can move from from one area to the next seamlessly, like running in circles and going to the library, where you can proceed to run around railing and waste lots of time, easily. (Trickster can just down them here, unless they vault so less a problem, but pure M1 killer is screwed)
Understandable.
With good teammates a M1 killer has is very hard there. But i have also faced incredible strong M1 killers you would not think.
But with bad teammates... you get destroyed. And at the end i often can´t find this damn hatch there.
But i like the situations where you escape from a game you thought was already lost.

It's only meta for bad players.
You mean for the real skillful players...
-
Uff, that might take a while then.

Does my opinion even matter at all then? I just played Trickster on rpd and a Jill literally only had to press W to avoid me, I don't think that's on me, it takes forever to catch up. Eventually, yes, I did break off because I had to. But the map allows you to WIN BY PRESSING W. Ive done it as survivor TOO.
A lot of people agree with you and don´t like RPD. Just not "everyone". Everybody has an opinion but sometimes try to see the other arguments as well.
Most complaints are about it being too complicated which i can´t understand completely but that is on me.
Holding W is not a problem on RPD or Midwich as this works everywhere to a certain degree. On open maps Trickster can be quite strong in a chase when you can´t hide.
And also as surv you can do this on more maps.
But i am not sure if you ever played against a very good Trickster on RPD then as we got sometimes completely destroyed there. With other killers as well.
You mentioned you play SWF - that of course can change everything.
I play mostly solo and so my experience is probably vastly different.
For me it is what teammates do i get and how good is the killer.
Sometimes we escape easy and sometimes we lose easy. The map doesn´t make a huge difference.

I don’t even care about balance per se, it’s just really silly looking that a survivor can, midchase, just tap their hand instantly on a generator and it stops regressing. At a minimum it really should require a two second action to stabilize it and start improving its progress if you continue holding after that.
Yes.

I used to absolutely HATE Doctor and Bubba. Now they're my mains.
I also unironically enjoy Basement (chest protector) Bubba.
Also it fixed my struggles when facing them, once you know how to play them, you learn their weaknesses and you don't have to complain about them when playing survivor. No killer is op if you know how to use their weak spots vs them
Right!
Some survs just need to try some killers out. And vice versa.
-
What do you think the answer would be?
I don´t use most of them.
-
Would be awesome.
But they don´t want to - to expensive, to time consuming, no reward.
I bet they could implement it if they want to.

@N8dog said:
I've given up on "stun killer x times with a pallet in a single match." Either everyone else is chased or killer respects it.
I avoid these. I am glad you can go around.
-
Why do you think that? You don´t know.
It is competitve for some and not for others. I simply can like maps as it is a game.
And not all people get frustrated easy and not all people have the same problems. You are assuming.
You might think completely different of the game than me and that is totally fine.
But don´t think it is "everybody" that feels like you do.
-
I like these challenges, they are easy - only need some time. Ran a chest build and then a totem build. Was nice to see the spawns again.
Almost cleansed all 15 in three matches (took 4 because some had the challenge as well i think).
-
Different people hate almost everything in the game.
I like the maps and i have no problem playing on them - and that is enough for me. I don´t care if they are "good" or not which is also highly subjective. And the layout is not that complicated (for me at least).
I don´t find them worse than all the outdoor maps. I win there and i lose there.

As far as we know it was not BHVRs decision to remove him. Netflix took away there licence so BHVR is not allowed to sell him.
Nobody knows exactly what happened.
-
No thanks.
What you think is terrible maybe is not for other people - ever thought about that?
I like RPD and i like Midwich and i miss Hawkins.
-
Only possibility is the physical Nightmare Editon disk for PS and Xbox. This includes the Stranger Things DLC.
Maybe there are steam keys somewhere but idk.
-
A lot of perks in the game are not very good. But there can be the situation where one of these could save you.
Sometimes i used char perks where i not have "my perks" yet available. Got a strange situation and a "trash" perk saved me.
Some perks are bad but awesome in a specific situation.
The problem is, you don´t know in advance.
The meta perks are the perks which give you pretty solid advantages in a general match.
-
Don´t know.
You need the stats to see how she is doing irl. All here are just assumptions how strong or weak she turns out to be.
There is a genuine possibility that she could be nerfed cause she is too strong.
All the forum god players don´t know the normal DBD player. And they struggle a lot more with killers.
-
Corrupt is good. But there are some new killer perks which can work better. But you have to get people hooked - that is the catch.
-
@Nathan13 said:
If you’re the last survivor alive than there’s no point in even using it??? It’ll just waste more time when you can move on to the next match.
If you could escape the hook when you are the last surv every killer would just wait. He has no reason to walk away.
It really just would be a timewaste. That is the reason why it is how it is now.
-
If you play flawless you would not get hooked.
We already had this discussion with the non existent first / second hook state at the end.
If the killer hooks you as last survivor you could not really esacpe. As said above - you would unhook right in the killers face and he would down you immediately again.

It's not team oriented when I'm stuck with survivors who don't know how to take a protection hit or won't let me jump a pallet, then leave me on hook to die from first hook.
Almost every single game the past month I have been getting matched with survivors that don't know what they're doing.
So I'll play how I want, even if it makes no sense just to be able to play with others who know how to play.
If you have it that often i would go for a Hatch build and try to escape at the end.
-
@Mallowness said:
Can we change how the changes are facing the cenobite? He is impossible to face. The chains are constant and no one can work on gens, heal ourselves, break totems, get alone move around. Each match is only a couple minutes long because of how over powered this killer is.
Just as a general tip.
Go to the killer section and read their power and maybe perk descriptions. Killers like Pinhead and Pig and Sadako and Artist have powers where you have to do something to get rid of.
Some people don´t know what to do with certain killers.
I had one asking what to do with this vhs tape from Sadako as he was condemned.
-
Are you really surprised?
People want to shout out their (of course superior) opinions to the world.
There is no discussion or any acceptance for critisism.
-
Oh no - i don´t wanna hear random screams, noises, eating, or children talking.
Thanks.
-
First - it is a team game - even if you are in Solo Q.
If you really want higher MMR (for what really?) then play selfish if you have to.
Second - No, the game only expects you to escape - that is skillful - all else is just your problem.
-
All the camping and tunneling killers i faced recently did pretty well.
Sadly this is high skill DBD.
But the win is even higher MMR - and that is not exactly what i want to have.
-
I also played some more games with her than usual.
I like her and all the sound effects.
Against the real good teams you have problems with most killers. So no problem there. I did pretty well in my last games.
-
Good perk to a certain point.
Slows the start of the game a bit down.
But more experienced survs either hide or more often start other gens far away. And only one time use so there are now some newer perks which are better options.
-
A no perks and no addons mode would be really nice.
I think the game may be quite balanced there.
-
Jokes aside - you could seriously cherish the meme. Some ice hockey skins would be funny i think.
-
Refreshing - just did the destroy 20 totems tome.
Jill with Small game and Counterforce - almost did 5 per trial. I didn´t had any NOED worries at all :-)
Also it is nice to learn totem spawns again.
-
Jokes aside - i thought the same today, maybe after the video.
But you could seriously cherish the meme. Some ice hockey skins would be funny i think.
-
22 secs in - i looped the killer for 2 minutes - what are you doing?? :-)
Time is highly subjectice if you don´t use a watch.
I did gens today after i finished my red glyphe, destroy 20 totems (did almost 5 per match) and open 15 chest tomes.

In the current state of the game, tunneling should be the go-to for every killer in every game.
The rare few times I'm trying a killer I can't handle properly (e.g. Oni) I'm getting against the typical gens-before-friends, parallel gens players protected by multiple CoH, shadow step and exponential. Tunneling is the only way to get kills.
Yes, sadly the healing meta enforces tunneling.

egocentric
adjective
adjective: egocentric; adjective: ego-centric
thinking only of oneself, without regard for the feelings or desires of others; self-centred.
"egocentric loners with an overinflated sense of self-worth"
-
Just played against a tunneling spirit with BBQ and NOED.
Got a 4k.
Camping and tunneling is truly high skill mmr play - no matter which killer.
