A new blink bug? Damn.

I've had several occasions where after a game with a twitchie where I'd go to their chat to say gg and they'd tell me they love my outfit.
Edit: This one in particular. Doesn't the blighted head just go so well with the biohazard trashbag dress thing? Pretty cool eh?

Legion:
-If you are in Frenzy and you see a survivor whose killer instinct is positioned a little higher than usual, it means they are in a locker.
-You can use frenzy to stop survivors from unhooking each other to give you time to get out of frenzy and down them. Position yourself directly behind the unhooker, stab them, then wait until they start the animation again and stab them again. They will still be able to get the unhook, but you will be delaying them just long enough to pretty much guarantee a down most of the time.
Pig:
-Probably well known, but you can dash backwards if you look at a wall at a certain angle while dashing. (I can provide a picture/ in dpeth explanation if needed)
-If you're scared of getting pallet stunned, you can pull a downed survivor away from the pallet by standing behind them and putting a trap on them. I also used this to bait out a flashlight save once, but that was more because the survivor was bad.
Dashing backwards? Thatd be interesting to see. Its crazy how people learn stuff like the killer instinct locker thing. Had no idea but that could come in handy to an attentive killer.

You see the crows aura when she's setting it up and you hear when she shoots them. It's just a matter of going of the gen when she shoots them to avoid it completely.
It's a cool little thing you can do to catch survivors off guard once in a while.
Tricksters piercing aoe knives applied to every single chase outside of high wall ones and there was nothing you could do against it as survivor. Artist double tapping people is a neat thing to do but only really works if the survivor isn't paying attention
Oh ok see i didn't know that. I havent played against her yet but thats kinda weird that her power gives away her position like that.

It’s definitely not an exploit, if they actually didn’t want it to be possible to damage people at long range like that they would have put a range limit on the damage.

I don't think so. It's really hard to pull off in a match and the survivor gets a audio queue and briefly sees the aura of birds being set up.
If you get damaged by the 2 crows from a single volley the first time it might be surprising but you can't blame anyone but yourself if it happens multiple times
Hmm but what about using it for cross map snipes on unsuspecting survs on gens? It's sick but it seems like something that'd be patched like tricksters piercing exploding blades. Either way ill definitely be having some fun with artist for a while knowing this is a thing. It would have to be on the survivors to not sit right on the gen for a second after being hit with the first crow.

Not a killer main but if your playing Wraith, you can bait out a dead hard by pretending to ring your bell.
A classic. You can also give a quick tbag with ghostie for the same result.

@Sonzaishinai said:
A fun one for the artist
It takes about 6 seconds if walking forward between crow placemenents to be able to swarm and damage a survivor in a single volley
That's actually sick. I didn't even think about that. I wonder if that may be seen as an exploit and patched though.

No, you know how your camera is sensitive for the first 0.75 seconds of your chainsaw sprint? If you chainsaw a pallet or wall within that small time frame itll reset that timer. Allowing you to curve after youve broken it
Its kind of difficult to explain, and even harder to get use to. But the pay off is definitely worth it as you can get some pretty nutty shots
Ah yeah I gotcha I was just curious on if in addition it snapped your camera forward the way it usually does when breaking something without the addon. In theory you should be able to circle around one side of the loop but thinking about it now it probably wouldn't be all that practical as the survivor should be on the far opposite of the loop.

I have a few for clown
- If you assume the survivor has dead hard you can pull out a bottle and quickly put it away. This might fake them out and make them use it early
- If you have 1 bottle left and need to reload throw a yellow bottle and reload in it for extra move speed
- If you know you’re going to be head on/DS stunned then throw a purple bottle beforehand to give them the least distance possible.
It's the little things like getting into the habit of doing stuff like this that separates the good from the best.

@Shroompy said:
I dont really main a killer, al though I've been really enjoying these 2
Trickster: Moving to the side while throwing knives drastically helps controlling the recoil
Hillbilly: If youre using Lopro Chains, the initial camera sensitivity is reset if you break a pallet or wall, making it possible (al though VERY difficult) to perform an S shaped curve.
Wait does sawing a pallet or wall at an angle with lopro chains reset your pov to face it directly?

Placing a Portal while standing over a downed Survivor may bait any nearby flashlight savers, tho it won't work right under Pallets
Oh yeah that's true. I've done this with Trapper a couple times, but Demo would probably look a little more believable.

It is definitely up there for me. I have such nostalgia for Overwatch and spent 5 years playing it, so I might lean on that, but I would be lying if I said I didn't prefer DBD at this point. Then again, maybe I would hate both if I had been playing this for 5 years too. Lol.
Are you a frequenter of the overwatch forums as well? I've seen your name there a few times browsing threads.

Works in Sea of Thieves, but that's just Steam and Microsoft.
Overwatch has voice and text chat through crossplay between xbox, ps, switch, and pc. I think its just because the majority of the community doesn't want it.

Indeed. I am not very social, so I never make any friends, but I keep mine open just to prove to myself that not everyone is a toxic rat. There are a lot of good people who play this game. I need that reminder, sometimes, as I am extremely misanthropic but still want to be proven wrong.
Ha I see. Same with twitchies. Lots of people hate on them, but in reality most of them are pretty cool. They always give me a gg back when i drop one in their chat after a match even if i kill them. It's just human nature that makes you recall the bad times more than the good ones. That being said salt can be funny sometimes too.

I get my share of salt on Dbd too, but i get more nice messages so i leave my dms open. Never know if you might make a new friend. Last time someone came at me in my dms with a rage boner i reported them and sony took care of it surprisingly quick.

🤷 I leave mine completely open. 90% of the chats I get from Dbd players these days are compliments, thank yous for hatch, and ggs. Almost every chat I get from overwatch players is hate.
-
Would be nice as a playstation player. Before crossplay I'd just get dms or be able to dm other players, but now i almost always have lobbies full of crossplatform gamers which makes that impossible. Kinda wack that for a feature that was intended to bring the community closer together, it does kinda the opposite. People will always bring up the excuse of the toxic community and yadda yadda, but i feel like ive met more cool people than dickwads in my experience on the game. (Overwatch is wayyyy more toxic) And of course we wouldn't leave out the option of being able to keep chat disabled. So it'd be welcome from me, but bhvr has already stated they have no intention on adding it sadly.

Interesting. So what about 180 flicks? I believe it's called a z flick these days?

Regarding flicks. If you mean shoulder flick - rush on top of survivor and attack in the direction they face.
If you mean flick for 90 degree around corner, stick to side and m1 and hold stick for drag.
The secret is to have attack straight away instead going into lunge
Damn dude that's smooth.

Can you link a video of someone successfully pulling it off?
This is a video of me practicing with him. At about 1:57 I pull off a successful hug tech. I also do more hug techs in the video, but almost none of them result in hits. Need more practice.
-
Idk about flicking, but you can defintely hug tech. Basically what you do is rush into a flat wall or surface, push yourself up against it during your slam duration, and from there you can rush again while hugging the wall and gliding along it. It's pretty easy to execute, but tricky to fully manipulate.

Yes hello? Ive been trying to reach you about your cars extended warranty.

Its good like any other exhaustion perk, but there are better choices. So in other words yeah kinda.
-
Ha. I know what you mean because I used to do this. Back when I wasn't scared to be a toxic killer and I saw someone break my ruin 30 seconds into the match I would straight up tunnel them out of spite. It is kind of stupid because once you realize it it's like what was the survivor supposed to do? Leave the totem there to make the game harder for themselves? Kinda a lose lose situation for the survivor in that sense.
I also apply this logic to survivors being tunnled in strategic scenarios as well however. The killer shouldn't be expected to make the game harder for themselves if they don't want to by 12 hooking. I only opt to play this way and avoid tunneling as much as possible (but if it happens it happens. Sorry.) because it's what I prefer and I know the survivors prefer it too, but it should not be expected of every killer.
Anyways to answer your post it's just human nature tbh. Really all i can say. I've left all that pettiness behind along with bming and bringing strong oppressive builds after being destroyed in the previous matches etc etc. Realized there's no reason for me to take the game that serious and it's not that deep :p
-
@Mr_K is pretty cool 👊

@Aven_Fallen said:
Because at some point, the "most balanced Killer" is not the most balanced Killer anymore if Killer becomes easier over time. The best mobility combined with an easy to use Instadown might have been too much.
However, the Nerf aka Overheat does not really impact him at all. You barely notice it.
What hurts him way more were the changes to animations and FoV. The latter can be somewhat fixed with using Shadowborn, but not everyone wants to use a Perk to negate a Chance which nobody asked for.
And the animations made him feel really clunky.
I guarantee, if they remove Overheat, Billy will not be played more, simply because his animations would still remain the same.
If given the chance and choice to have either overheat or his animations reverted id go with animations no contest.

Good Billys, Nurses, and Blights get my respect +
-
She's just a killer that requires different counterplay than other killers. With how little people play her, you're bound to have a difficult time learning how to best utilize that counterplay. Lets say a nurse has put 500 hours into nurse alone and she's placed in a lobby of survivors who have only played against nurse a grand total of about 50 times. Then we'll say that only 15 of those nurses were actually decent. Do you think they're going to know how to efficiently run her? Probably not. She is probably going to have an easy time ending chases because of the survivors' lack of experience against her while she has 1k hours on the killer alone. When I play nurse the majority of survivors are very predictable and im sure this is why. They think there's one simple trick you can use to juke a good nurse but theres not. It goes deeper than that. How can you build up your experience against good nurses with them being so rare? Well you can run custom games with them like tourney squads do, but the more accessible way is to just play her yourself.
-
I'm...not quite sure how to feel about this post.
-
There's so many, but I wanna mention how much I love crimson heads and the whole concept of them. You need to decapitate or incinerate every zombie after killing them or else they come back harder, better, faster, and stronger. And terrifying. Can't forget terrifying. One of the things that made the 02 REmake better than the original.
