  • he is still a m1 killer in the sense that at jungle gyms his power is rarely usable it's just those cases where if you are caught out in the open with no pallets or windows you are f*kd as you can not just run around a tree or debris anymore.

  • the franklin's change did not do much just brought back the original ability to destroy survivors items mabey defensive killers like trapper or hag could use the items as bait but for most other killers ins not really worth it

but the tinkerer change, now that's a nice perk the original effect of the tinkerer post rework was 10 seconds of no terror radius at 90% of gen progression but at 90% a gen only takes 8 seconds to complete with a solo survivor so it only really worked if you were close to the gen already or were a high mobility killer. they then changed it to 12 seconds of undetectable at 85% progression meaning the gen would be completed in 12 seconds which did not change much but now it's 16 seconds of undetectable when a gen hits 70% progression giving the killer 24 seconds to get to the gen before it's completed which means low mobility killers can use it more and high mobility killers will love it im thinking of combining the new tinkerer with ruin that way when i get to the gen and get a free hit and chase the survivor away it will regress back below 70% and when a survivor gets back to it tinkerer will activate again giving me undetectable again and again.

  • i would not really change much, the only thing that will make nurse feel like she used too would be to make it that if you hit a survivor after a blink you get a blink back instantly that way if you blink twice and get a hit by the time the fatigue ends you will have both blinks already so it will make nurse feel like she used to in a chase whilst keeping her map mobility the same

  • here are the new greek collection skins coming soon

    best adam skin ever

Wraith looks amazing his weapon looks great and his top looks great his body not so much but mix-and-match.

David and Doctor honestly they're alright for recolours I kind of wish they did the same for Min's recolour last time instead of giving her default outfit give it to her alternate outfit can't complain too much.

Hag looks so sick twisted and disgusting and I love it surprisingly enough it's the most human looking skin we've seen for her.

Zarnia is awesome definitely makes me think about what the other Greek legend collections are going to be. I really like her top and the hair are the pants kind of hit and miss.

Ace I mean his top is ok but aside from that they did him dirty hopefully the tome redeems him

Honestly when it comes to the Tomes I do hope they're a lot better than the dirtiness they did to both Kate and Legion

you are going to love the other greek collection cosmetics.

Seeing Tenacity makes me think they've got Unbreakable for sure. What I tend to do when I run it is sit still as long as the killer can see me, then crawl when they decide to leave me slugged. That way by the time they come back, I'm long gone.

unless you use a controller in which case you can lightly push the joystick to make yourself crawl at the normal speed when the killer is looking and as soon as they look away you can just dart across the floor

  • it's because of the new map midwich elementary. it's basically broken on it

I feel like you've turned a blind eye to the plethora of perks that slowdown generators either directly, or by forcing the survivors to do other actions other than generators slower.

Corrupt Intervention, Dying Light, Huntress Lullaby, Ruin, PGTW, Surge, and Thanataphobia all directly slow down generators or regress them.

Then you've got perks like Discordance and Surveillance which help you keep track of the generators so you know where to go to keep the survivors off of them.

And finally, you've got perks like Sloppy Butcher, which makes other actions (in this case, healing) take longer. Times spent doing other things is time spent not doing a generator.

This doesn't even go into lesser used or more niche perks which could give you some extra regression/info/slowdown.

I know you wrote off perks like Ruin and Thrilling Tremors because they don't work automatically, but that's because getting them off the generators is your job. You, as the killer, need to get them off them so they can take effect. In Thrilling Tremors' case, that info helps you figure out where people are so you can go chase them off. Thanataphobia as well stacks with other slowdown effects and can was a lot of time (a heal becomes ~24 seconds when combined with Sloppy Butcher, double that for Self Care).

Perks aren't the only way to slow things down. They can help you, but they're not meant to stop all progress for you. The best way to slow things down always has been to play smart and keep people off of generators.

has lullaby ever worked for anyone? the moment survivors touch a gen they know you have it. i have never gotten passed 2 stacks

  • should be next tuesday

  • he basically has everything a killer needs map pressure, slowdown, anti-loop but the biggest thing is that he is really easy to pick up and use

  • by themselves i have no issue but the problem arises when 4 survivors with 4 second chance perks. that makes it 16 "second" chances

  • i am ok with them by themselves, the problem arises when all 4 survivors run the same 4 "second" chance perks that stack on to each other

  • they lowered the skill ceiling, so no. the best billy's were curve-saw billy's they knew everything about the saw, the timing, the loops. they were fun as hek to play against but now if they go through with the changes they will die out

  • they showed during the year 4 anniversary stream that they doing a full graphics update for every map we only saw snippets of the changes to badham pre-school and yamaoka estate but its safe to assume that the cold wind maps will also get changed

@doitagain_ You pretty much nailed it. Like this would have been the answer I give.

i still think you could make the head usable with other cosmetics as it's just hair and a mask but if you equip the body/legs the head will be equipped automatically like normal.

How? You can gain ALOT more from the traps than you can a cage. Traps can waste a ton of time, and even get a kill with the right addons. PH antiloop is better, time (the most important trait for a killer) 100% favors the pig.

maybe because you can hit survivors through objects and his mind game is near uncounterable. here is the simple use of his power

survivor running towards a vault or pallet? stick your great knife in the ground

do they start the vault/pallet animation? use your ranged attack to get a free hit

do they fake it? cancel your power and get a free m1

there is little they can actually do against it

  • this change only effected tunneling ph players

So 10 seconds for 1 bottle, making a full reload 40 seconds. Sounds good.

I really like the idea of an indicator for where the bottle lands. Kind of like giving the huntress a crosshair to see where hatchets will go.

and maybe instead of reloading, pressing the alternate ability button will give him a different bottle effect, like mabey he pops the corck befor throwing and instead of making a circle of gas where it lands but instead it makes a trail as it flies through the air.

To me, most console players seem spoiled. The ones who weren't there from the start on PC don't know how bad it used to be.

    • Entity never blocked abused windows
    • There were 2x-3x more windows and pallets
    • The killer shack had 2 windows and 1 door
    • The bus had both windows open
    • The car shop had 3 windows side by side
    • Survivors moving in the basement caused the grass on the ground level above them to also move
    • The Nurse moved at 115% movement speed
    • Unrelenting affected both missed and succesful attacks, and stacked with Save the Best for Last
    • Moonlight offerings made the match extremely dark (you think Blendette now is bad..?)
    • Map offerings came in different rarities and none of them were 100% chance of working
    • The Bloodweb only gave 1 perk per level
    • The Bloodweb animation took way longer and it took ages to spend Bloodpoints
    • The costs of items in the Bloodweb were based on their distance from the center, not their rarity
    • The only clothing options were base and Prestige
    • There were no Shards for playtime and no Shrine to buy teachable perks with those Shards
    • Exhaustion recovered while sprinting
    • There was only one spot that Survivors could unhook from, and Killers could stand there to completely prevent unhooking (the OG "Face Camp")
    • The Trapper's traps could be placed directly next to hooks, and he could place them in the one spot that Survivors landed
    • Survivors did not have temporary immunity after unhooking themselves or being unhooked
    • Borrowed Time and Dead Hard didn't exist
    • Decisive Strike stun was reduced by Enduring
    • Sabotaged hooks remained broken for the entire match, as did the Trapper's traps
    • Survivors could not point or beckon
    • Survivors were not penalized for grouping up on gens
    • Leader and Prove Thyself buffed gen repair speeds and stacked
    • Bond only had an 8m range
    • More, I'm sure, but cannot remember right now...

this is what i can remember from when it came out on console 3 years ago

    • thankfully never experienced that
    • we did experience the double pallets and the endless window loops
    • that was beta so we did not have that
    • can't remember if we had this, maybe i repressed the memory
    • we had the triple vault nightmare
    • that is still a thing, the grass doesn't move but it still makes sound
    • nurse only just started to make appearances when they doubled controller sensitivity, before that only saw her 6 times in 200 matches at rank 1, yes i counted
    • did not experience pre nerf unrelenting and STBFL, thankfully
    • i still have a bunch of disabled full moon bouquet offerings on my survivors, only sociopaths and killers used them
    • no
    • non
    • nein
    • nee
    • it was a very boring time, we only had the original cosmetic packs
    • how did you live without the shrine?
    • i remember that. vigil was actually useful
    • i still remember staring into the killers eyes as there face was just iches away waiting for me to die and my team was teabagging behind them. good times
    • i hated trapper, his camping was basically unstoppable.
    • i remember getting downed before i could even move, it's why i swapped to killer
    • we did not have dead hard on release but we did have borrowed time in the normal perk pool as bill was only given to us recently and it became a teachable.
    • we did have that. i hated it
    • *sad jake main noises*
    • always had the boob and come hither~
    • yikes
    • we did have that but did anyone even use pre rework dwight perks?
    • seriously did anyone use dwight perks?
    • i'm sure there are more but remember we got it on console only a year after pc, so we have seen some #########

Are you sure you didn’t get your free 50,000 daily bloodpoints right after your last match. I believe those will pass the limit but I’m not sure about actually blood points earnings.

    i now have 1,068,665 bp

  • depends on how you play

i play him like demogorgon just faking the ranged attack for free hits or using them on garnatied pallet or windows, whilst i get them all tormented but i never cage i just hook them like normal but as soon as they have been saved from struggle i can just ignore the rescuer and just straight up kill the rescued survivor

  • because konami said so

  • just saying that there are LGBT characters is fine there are over 40 of them so it's not impossible and as a member of the LGBT community i am glad they did not tell us who is LGBT with a tweet but will make it come up more organically like in the archives though i would have preferred it if they did this before pride month which dose make it look suspect. i don't want a repeat of what blizzard did with overwatch where they built up a character with a lot of lore over a few years and then just tape the fact they are LGBT with a christmas comic out of nowhere with no prior indication. the characters of DBD are vague enough with minimalistic lore that there is an opportunity to write it in well to make compelling characters with relatable stories as long as being LGBT is not just there defining feature.

  • i would not be on the forums if i hated it,

despite all the complaints people have if they really hated this game they would just move on to another game without a word, this community may be toxic but it's also just as passionate which is a sign that it's a great game.

One add-on is not a cause to rework an entire character. But that aside, what do you have in mind for an alternative?

make it so iri head only downs you at 18+ meters so skillful shots are rewarded. not as a melee alternatives

  • just use ace in the hole, 4-head

  • that's a bit too much i would just make it so survivors pain sounds are multi directional so the spirit can't predator missile to your exact location if you are injured. she can still tell you are there but cant tell exactly where leaving room for error

  • doge the shock, he can't swing immediately after and then use the pallet or the window.

if you don't think you can just drop pallets early and then abandon the loop like you do against clown

  • it's not that third seal is underrated it's just that the blindness status effect is not very good and the fact it's a hex makes it even worse but on a killer like doctor who doesn't really require a perk build it can work

if i were to change it in any way to make it something i would consider using and worthy of being a hex i would make it so when a survivor is under the effect of third seal any time they are repairing/healing they suffer the oblivious effect or something like that

  • i don't think bbq needs a change but i agree that WgLF needs another condition seeing as you are competing with other survivors for unhooks. maybe make it that you get a stack if you do the equivalent of 1 whole gen it would be more akin to bbq on how easy it is to get stacks especially as WgLF does not give you any other benefit unlike bbq's aura reading

  • it's not really the hit boxes but the latency what the killer sees on there screen and what the survivor sees are different as there is a delay my advice would be too check your connection to the killer if they have a yellow or red bar you should expect some lag

  • at a long range he is easy to doge there is even a sound effect played when he is aiming at you. so as long as you keep a lookout and don't give him a chance by running out into the open he is not that hard to deal with. sure his 1 vs 1 is great but his map pressure is almost as none existent as clowns. at loops you just drop the pallet early if he goes to break it run to the next loop and repeat and if he doesn't break the pallet it's easy to abuse his slow ass.

  • pig requires a lot situational awareness to be played efficiently at high ranks but the one thing she does have is a built in match slow down, even if they get the traps of first time that was time spent not doing gens. she also has access to short wall loop mind games that other m1 killers don't have thanks to the dash (just crouch and start to dash one way but immediately swap and go the other) she takes a lot of practise but she can do well

  • if you are just starting out its fine but tunneling becomes less efficient at higher ranks as most survivors will know how to run loops properly and will have a bunch of second chance perks so even if you hard tunnel a survivor most of the gens will be done by the time you finally sacrifice one. same goes for camping. but by that time you will be better at the game so you won't have to tunnel or camp you will join us at high rank and become a god of slugs

  • mine would be

    fight and flight

after stunning a killer gain the haste effect for 10/15/20 seconds after the effect ends this perk goes on cooldown for 60 seconds.

    tactical approach

whilst healthy, standing still and crouching press the active ability button to go prone for 20/25/30 seconds the effect ends early if you move. after using this perk it will be disabled until after you have been hooked.

    to track a predator

the killer will leave a trail lasting 10 seconds after following the trail for 10/8/6 seconds the killer aura is revealed and will remain revealed so long as you follow the trail.

  • the problem is most huntresses who use iri head just pointblank hatchets you like it's a chainsaw which requires no skill that's why most people just want the iri head to instant down you at 20+ meters so that it rewards good hatchet throws

  • @Aven_Fallen said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/150363/constant-all-gens-done-music-during-the-match

It is the music which plays when all Gens are done. There was a Bug that it did not play, this got fixed and now there is a Bug that it plays constantly.

Yeah, I also dont know what happened there...

    me right now https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gm8g9Dhe9gM

  • @Bodukai said:

Face camping happens at all ranks.

yeah but it barely works on high rank survivors they just rush gens

  • try stealthing a bit more as just expecting to loop all game is not going to work as well anymore and expect a resurgence of clown because he is near unstoppable in areas without pallets/vaults

  • @Bodukai said:

Let them die and go do the generators and leave.

yeah that's the right strat but face camping happens at low ranks and low rank survivors are the ones who will suffer

  • @CornMoss said:

Just dodge one shock, then instantly go for the unhook, you will get the person off

yea but if the doctor had certain addons it would be verry difficult and low rank survivors wont be able to deal with it

  • i just realised what i have done and i'm so sorry low rank survivors pls forgive me

  • @Peanits said:

If you don't see any lore entries on the master challenges, restarting the game should cause them to appear.

i am not getting any lore from the challenges i have already completed

  • @Peanits said:

This has been suggested in the past, but there's a pretty major flaw in this: Say you're healthy. You're running towards the gate and the killer is right on your tail. You get to the gate, and now you have two options.

    1. Enter the gate area and try to escape. If you do, you're exposed and you'll go down before you can escape.
    2. Wait for the killer to hit you and use that speed boost to get out the gate. If they're smart and don't hit you, the collapse will kill you. If it hasn't started, they can just open the gate.

The benefit to it? There's not really anything that I can see, other than an indirect buff to Blood Warden as you've mentioned. If they're sitting there teabagging in the exit gates right at the threshold, there's no difference between downing them in one hit and having them fall into the escape zone and downing them in two hits and having them fall into the escape zone. They're still going to escape no matter what. It would punish ordinary people who are just trying to escape more than it would people who are trying to BM. I don't think it's worthwhile when you can already just hit them out.

why not just add this exposed effect on to bloodwarden and make it passive like the exit zone aura reading it would make it a more desirable perk considering its counter by just 99% exit gates
