  • i just do 1 rift level a day through play time, that's like 10 to 12 matches a day which can be done within 2 to 3 hrs and that is not including the rift levels i get for doing challenges. i buy the paid track once i hit level 70 you should only unlock the paid track in the rift if you know you will have the free time to complete it

It makes dedicated not as bad, the killer will now appear at the correct distance he should be.

Basically you should not be getting as many bullshit hits

btw, has anyone that play killer noticed an improvement in grabs?

im getting grabs when i'm only trying to hit them

  • from a survivor's perspective when i played against the huntress her hatchest were actually really responsive so her hits looked like they should have hit and i'm finding dodging them is allot easier

  • from the look of it, he seems to be able to reposition himself better after he bumps into something. before he would just bounce back a little but now it looks like you can strafe farther to the side to get around things. also he has actual sounds now which will make him feel more impactful for both sides.

  • Entity bless you

I'm honestly starting to think Demo is sleeper A tier. He gets mobility in his portals, and can mind game his ability with no drawbacks similar to Executioner and Deathslinger.

A good demo can apply crazy pressure

that is true, as a demo main i can say people are sleeping on him but he is definitely not A tier yes he has map mobility but unlike other teleporting he has to set up his portals first and he can only teleport between them he can't do it from anywhere he likes.

as for the mind game it only works well when you use the addon rat liver which changes his movement speed when channeling "of the abyss" from 92% ms to 101% only 1% faster than survivors whereas PHead moves at 110% when using his power and unlike deathslinger who moves at 82.5% deathslinger can cancel his power instantly to regain his max speed and can attack quickly and whilst demo and PyHead have to wait before they can attack PyHead was still closing the gap between him and the survivor while demo was barely keeping up.

in my opinion demo is b+ but he just has a week freddy teleport with a set up time and has a weaker PyHead mind game that requires an addon to barely work along with the fact that he telegraphs his every action to all survivors through sound. all he needs to be good is to have his sounds tied to his terror radius and to have his addons re-balanced

Here, I made it into a picture so it's easier to evaluate.

I'm surprised that spirit isn't in S tier on average. And I don't think Doc should be that high. Hillbilly, in my opinion, doesn't belong in the same tier with Hag or Huntress.

she was like 0.8% below s

Perhaps try and order the Killer's position in the tier list according to their position? Tiers are all over the place.

its in order of when they were added to the game

  • it wont even let me edit it ;'D

  • cannot render the post? god damnit here it is simplified

    trapper: c

    wraith: c

    hillbilly: a

    nurse: s

    shape: b

    hag: a

    doctor: b+

    huntress: a

    cannibal: b+

    nightmare: a

    pig: c

    clown: d

    spirit: s

    legion: c

    plague: b+

    ghost face: b+

    demogorgon: b

    oni: a

    deathslinger: b+

    executioner: a

  • tomorrow i will make a post with the results, this is your last chance to contribute to the tier list

  • killer obsession perk: black out

when a survivor lets go of a generator they became marked for 10 seconds hitting a marked survivor will make them the obsession

every time you hook the obsession you gain a token at 5/4/3 tokens the next time you kick a generator all gens not being actively repaired will start regressing

  • 275 responses, can we hit 300?

  • 2 more days until the survey is closed and the results are posted, make your vote while you can

Call me a stickler, but I think the tier descriptions need a little redoing.

I'm reading them, but struggling to fit Killers into them.

Example, "C = counterd (playable but has weaknesses)"; I thought most Killers have weaknesses? Or is this a tier where the weaknesses start to outweigh the strengths?

c is where there counterd to the point where there power does not matter in the long run, the killer can perform ok but there power has a built in down side or there is a strategy that survivors can easily do in most matches to deal with there power. like how with trapper you can just disarm his traps and he becomes a plain m1 killer

  • 250 votes on our tier list

  • they said 6 months "minimum" so it could be soon or it could be 5 years from now, who knows?

what exactly from rift 1 do you want so bad? it was just charms with a few mediocre skins.

  • 4 days left to make your vote

  • i must say the current results i have got are interesting as hell

  • we hit 200 votes let's keep the ball rolling

  • we have hit 150 votes :D

Would it be fair to assume that this tier list is based on playing as/against these killers on relatively balanced/non-biased maps (such as Coal Tower)?

Because even the strongest killers in the game have some maps where their powers are either useless, or so glitchy as to be useless (think Nurse on Yamaoka/Midwich, Hillbilly on Lery's, or Wraith on Blood Lodge).

Or the opposite; some killers can be extra-oppressive on maps that allow them to use their powers more freely (Oni on Rotten Fields, Doctor on The Game, or Huntress on Temple of Purgation).

The problem is people base their tiers off a few factors so it's hard to make a proper tier list without any rules. I always consider a killers tier based off a good killer playing them, with their best perks. Some others base it off best add-ons included or no perks and add-ons.

this tier list is purely based on your general opinions you can base them on high rank if you want or on how much you like them

  • we have hit the 50 milestone

  • @CashelP14 said:

Gave my answers. Hope no one gives killers D tier since no killer deserves to be there. Every killer in this game is at least C tier if played by a good player.

true, but there are limits to how well you can do based on what killer you play as due to power limitations ie. a good clown vs an ok clown is not that big of a difference as the power is so one dimensional whilst a good trapper vs an ok trapper has a much larger difference. and besides this is more about the peoples general opinions on killers not the actual performances of each killers with there best perks and addons.

  • @PigMainClaudette said:

So, what are we basing this off? Base power with no perks or add-ons, or full power Huntress with Iri Heads, Infantry Belt and all the usual perks?

Kind of important to specify with this.

it's more about the opinion of the majority.

  • over 50 views but only 9 have done the tier list? *sad demo noises*

Same tbh, I quite enjoy playing as Demo as well, except I struggle with the portals - they really affect my vision a bit. I also enjoy playing against him - there's very few solidly good Demo mains though, he seems to be pretty hard to master.

it's not that he is hard to master its just that he gives away too much information to the survivors to be effective, especially at high ranks.

you know when he is in chase when he breaks pallets/gens or he teleports. his portals are easy to find and he cannot stealth in any way as his footsteps are too loud which makes his ultra rare red moss worthless along with the fact that his commons addons outclasses all the others

but despite all that he is my main, i must be a masochist.

true, but it misses OP's point.

To simplify his issue: it shows red, even tho 2 people repair a gen faster (47s) than one by himself (80s). Meaning that the bar actually fills faster and should be shown in yellow instead of red.

Honestly idk, I think showing it red just makes more sense. I'd rather have it in 3 different red shades for different debuff stages. Bc working on a gen with 4 people aint really worth it, cutting 2 seconds of the total repair time.

op asked why was it red and i gave him the same answer the devs gave us, it because for every other survivor on a gen you repair slower therefore the progress bar turns red to indicate the slower speed.

i then gave an explanation on gen speed just so if anyone who doesn't know the numbers now do and can understand that 4 people on 1 gen is not worth the 2 seconds difference between 3 people on a gen.

  • its because for every survivor repairing a gen you repair 15% slower you are still repairing faster in general but the bar becomes red to indicate you yourself are repaining slower here are the numbers behind multi repairs

1 survivor = 100% repair speed or 80 seconds repair

2 survivors = 170% repair speed or 47 seconds repair

3 survivors = 210% repair speed or 38 seconds repair

4 survivors = 220% repair speed or 36 seconds repair

the more survivors repairing a gen the less efficient it becomes.

unless you bring prove thyself which completely removes the stacking repair speed downside

I’m sorry, but what in the world are you talking about.

it means hitting hooked survivors like if you were shaving meat of a kebab cooker. the term originated from the japanese community

  • dude the first rift came out in october 30th 2019 it has not even been out for a full year. and as you know 6 months after it was released there was a little issue called the coronavirus i'm impressed that they even managed to keep giving us as much content as they have.

  • i think they just need to make the sound that plays when he is aiming at you louder

  • he should be the next killer to be getting a rework

  • maybe make stab wound study increase the amount the fatigue cooldown is lowered up to 0.50 so if you hit all 4 survivors it will be a 2 second fatigue instead of 4

  • i would recommend the perk corrupt intervention a plague teachable that blocks the 3 thurvest gens for 2 minutes

most of the time survivors spawn on the opposite side of the map and by blocking the gens near them they have to come towards you to find a gen or they will faff about looking for totems and chests whilst waiting for corrupt to wear off it makes getting a foot hold early in a match a lot easier.

  • i can understand the body and legs being linked as its a full body dress but the heads of these cosmetics and the weapons of the killers linked cosmetics don't make sense

  • he is boring for the same way Pyramid head is. just the act of redding there power is more effective than actually using it, the moment deathslinger brings up his gun or the moment PyHead sticks his sword in the ground the survivor has two options start preemptively dodging or keep running both of which work in the killers favor. you try dodging they won't use their power and will just close in on you for a free m1 or you keep running and they will just use their power. in the open this doesn't always work but the moment a window or pallet is involved it's a free hit.

but when you compare these two with huntress you can see why it works. with huntress she makes a warning sound way before she can even throw a hatchet and slows down giving time to the survivor to react and if she cancels her hatchet she stays slow and cant instantly attack

whilst deathslinger can immediately use his ability and cansel is without repercussions.

pyramid head does have a delay before he can attack but he is only moving 5% slower so its negligible

a simple fix for deathslinger would be to add harsher punishment for canceling his power promoting him to commit to actually using it or only being able to fake it once or twice before losing to much distance and making the sound that plays when he is aiming at you actually audible (yes there is a sound cue that plays when is gun is aiming at you not that you can hear it over the chase music)

as for PyHead just make him move slower when he pulls the G. knife out of the ground for a couple seconds so survivors can actually have a chance to make a play.

As a dev stated, the PTB is outdated and so is the blight, and maybe there is a slight chance that the survivor perks are too. I really hope they update the PTB so we can try the actual content. #justiceforFelix

    where did they say this?

  • sorry but you really just loop him. that's all it takes to counter him, it's no different than being chased by a plague without corrupt purge.

all i can recommend is looking up a looping guide and just keep practicing.

  • @UseTheValve said:

How was he "hacking" seriously I think you guys are overacting. If he lands his shot it doesn't mean he's hacking you know.

because he was FLYING like he had noclip form Gmod going through the walls and floor like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mhO9Q6Q-uyU

  • as a billy main im not really that bothered by the 3.5 heat dissipation but i can see why others are upset. this change punishes bad chainsaw usage so people who can't reliably hit survivors with the chainsaw will feel the overheat mechanic but people who can play billy well won't really be affected by the change.

they basically raised billy's skill floor.

  • knowing not to throw the pallet as you get hit

the amount of time i have seen another survivor waste shack pallet makes me die inside

  • @DaDuck said:

I don't really understand this one. You do the bones every game and still getting hit by noed?

no they are saying as a solo survivor they do as many bones as they can find but get screwed because there team did not do the last one.

the devs just need to add a totem counter in one way or another and all the talk about noed will stop

  • strange, for me when i play a killer i have over 100s of hours in i get rank 20s who can't even complete a single gen before i 12 hook the entire team but the moment i play a killer i have played less than 10 matches with the survivors are all rank 1 how the hell am i supposed to learn nurse in these conditions

Deafness is a status effect exclusive to hag, it pretty much reduces sounds the survivors hear when a trap is set off
