Just make it that you don´t let go of the gen when pain pops. Make them scream without animation. Problem should be more managable.

To be honest…
I am not even sure if this perk needs an effect at all since it seems that most players which play this perk "angry looking at Steves and TWD Characters" enjoy this perk just because it annoys other players.
The funny part to me is that many players hated ultimated weapon for this reason. "Survivor screams are to annoying"
-
Did the incentive ever worked as intended?
I often saw Survivor with 2 times bloodpoints and still only got the normal amount.
Playing EU here
Killer quque like 3 seconds
Survivor between 30 to a minute (playing solo)
-
Well to be fair….
Most other Killer meta perks got nerfed heavyly.
Pain Res and DMS are kinda the best of the nerfed perks….
What would you prefer to see on Killer?
I often read forum discussions which are mad about gen regression, auras, anti stealth, gen block, late game builds (most of the time noed), franklins, lightborn, and so on.
-
Imagine people like @undeddJester gets banned and these people are free to roam…
Thankfully my brain is already destroyed by other websites which were shown to me as kid… but dude come on…
It is neither funny nor anything else.

In both those cases, the abandon option has been unlocked through previous means:
1. you got picked up after the 3rd time you got slugged in a row, you got the option to abandon prior to that
2. you picked yourself up once after everyone who remains got downed onceIn the second aspect, you dont get the abandon option unless the last person remaining turned into a bot(in which, there is a glitch where a survivor escapes and gets turned into a bot, therefor unlocking abandon, but at that point, the gate is open already, abandoning would be the bad option)
Or both could be triggered because no gen has been completed in the past 10 minutes, in which case, the killer can abandon too.
You can only abandon in those cases due to other triggers. You could in theory have 4 survivors use plot twist at the start of the game with No Mither, and then those 4 survivors could abandon when all of them are finishing the final gen together. They got the abandon option and it doesnt go away after.
And once again, the issue there is that you cut the game short just to cut the game short. That's not what the abandon feature is for. The abandon feature is to prevent people from exitting the game for MINUTES, not seconds. Survivors who are all in the exitgate can be cleared within 10 seconds. It's annoying, but eh.
Survivors who are slugged over and over again have to wait up to 4 MINUTES if the killer doesnt hook them.
So that leads again to the question: how are they comparable? You're comparing a situation where it can last 240 seconds that happened commonly to the point that people were quitting, vs a situation that can last 15 seconds if they all have DH and are at full health, that happens so uncommonly that you are pretty much the only person complaining about it.The last survivor can abandon the second their nose hits the ground and they can skip the short mori.
Which is much shorter than running to a gate and hitting survivors 8 times.
Please give me an answer to my last question. Why is it so important for Survivors that the Killer sees them leave? It must be really important for Survivors when they fight toes and nails for the simple thing that a won game won´t get cut short.

The "funny" part wasnt about toxicity, it was about agency. The killer still has agency, despite toxicity or not. The survivor doesnt have agency. The abandon option doesnt show up if you're being tunnelled, it shows up if you've been downed 3 times without being hooked. It doesnt show up if you're slugged for 3 minutes, its when everyone is slugged.
The abandon option isnt about toxicity, its about agency. And the killer ALWAYS has agency. That's why pretty much the only killer specific abandon option happens when no gen has been finished for 10 minutes in a row.
A killer, on paper, could turn any game around in the matter of 2 minutes by mere basekit mechanics, no matter the state of the game. A survivor, on paper, cant do anything when slugged through basekit mechanics.
Survivors dont get the abandon option when they get mori'd, they get it earlier through other conditions. A survivor who gets downed when any other teammate has escaped never gets the option to abandon. So why is it important for the survivor to stay for the mori? If survivors got the abandon option for the mori, you would have a point. But there is no killer scenario that's comparable to all survivors being slugged. There is no killer scenario that's comparable to being slugged, picked up by teammates, slugged again right after, picked up again, then slugged again.
Mechanically, there wont be a difference if they get swapped by bots at that point. Whereas with the killer, yeah, that last 10 seconds to hit survivors out is annoying, but does it really require an abandon feature?
I rather have a gateblocker basekit that activates the moment the killer enters the exitgate, lasts for 5 seconds+a personal blocker depending on how long someone has stood in the gate with a 1:1.2 ratio. That way, if someone stood in the gate for 10 seconds, they will be blocked for 17 seconds. So you have no agency when you get picked up?
You have no agency when you are the last man in the trial while full health with both exit gates and hatch open?
Because you can abandon in these cases.
If the gate is open and all survivors are close to it why can´t the Killer leave the game?
The only thing that could happen is that a survivor messes up or gets cocky. But if we argue that way it could also happen that the Killer wants to pick up survivors if he 4 man slugs and one manages to wiggle out.
That leads to my question. Why is it so important for survivors that the Killer has to see them running out?

I really don’t think that’s true. People have had arguments for and against tunneling for years. I think a major factor is that many people don’t even consider certain things to be problems. If someone doesn’t consider something a problem, then it doesn’t matter what solution you have because regardless if it’s a good one or not, they don’t think it’s a problem to begin with. I think anti-tunnel is probably one of the biggest examples of this, where there are many people that don’t believe tunneling is a problem at all therefore any proposed change or solution is seen as unnecessary, and that believing it’s a problem is entitlement or stupidity and nothing more.
(This, and probably also how buggy Nurse is and has been for such a long long time, and how some people don’t want her to receive bug fixes at all due to how powerful she is.)
Thats my point. I want a discussion with points from both sides.
I know that tunneling is a big problem and I think it should be nerfed or hard tunneling should be made completly unreliable.
But as I said one side said "Getting 6 hooks mean 2 survivors on death hook and one at one hook" Killing now with the sixth hook while 3 survivors got chased in this game isn´t really tunneling. So go down to death on 4 hooks. which means only 1 survivor got tunneld out with the "typical unhook trade which can happen"
As to nurse. Yeah nerf her. There is no reason why she should be that powerful. And as I said no the conter argument shouldn´t be "I like her that strong"

One side brings up valid points which can be discussed about and the other sides counter argument is "You just won´t have my side buffed"There is no conter argument just trying to insult the other side. But that's always true. It's not even limited to DbD. Whenever a change or idea is proposed, amidst the discussion there will be people who are angry/ranting.
Hey guys these things could be abused in this or that way can we talk abuot it? (adjust the numbers to 4 hooks)Abuse is one of those words that people have been throwing around like it ends the argument. The level of hooks is more about how extreme the anti-tunnel should be, but its also directly related to how many boosts the killers should get for unique hooks (basically, if the number of hooks dropped, so should the unique hook benefits).
This is no discussion this is just demanding without seeing the other side which was trying to negotiate with arguments. If we're going to do a broad 'this is how sides behaved', the forum was filled with people/killers opposed to the 9.2 PTB even before it was released.
Ofcourse there are extremes which are biting and kicking before seeing anything.
And I don´t want this to be an us vs them.
You are right there are always examples in any kind of game which has pvp in it.
But I am tiered that one side brings arguments and the other doesnt

They even showed us in their live stream that they don´t want help or fixes from Otz himself which had the proper solution for their PR on hand.
That's true. Reminds me of a time when DBD held a livestream featuring Chandler Riggs (actor who plays Carl of The Walking Dead) alongside other popular content creators, and constantly their games were getting DDOS'd. Constantly getting very high latency out of nowhere, game stuttering etc.
Otzdarva recommended on adding his mods or getting the BHVR staff to fill the remaining spaces of their custom game to stop the hackers from joining, yet BHVR ignored it. And so everyone was sat there for an hour and it was awkward for Chandler Riggs as he had no idea on what to do, then the livestream ended shortly after. Because of that, DBD rushed to implement the 'you need an invite to join your friend' to prevent future hackers from randomly joining parties.
This was exactly the scenario which went through my head

I want to respond to this, because while it wasn’t directed at me, it does seem to be referencing my comment, specifically my use of the word influencers.
First, I want to explain why I use that term. An influencer is simply someone who influences others, and more specifically someone with a large social media presence who can shape opinions and promote ideas/ products. That feels quite accurate here. These creators have large platforms, sponsorships, merch, in game codes, and their own big community. Calling them influencers isn’t meant as an insult, I myself am subscribed to most of them, it’s just a description pointing to how much influence they objectively have.
I think it’s disingenuous to downplay how much influence they have on both the community and the game itself.
My point is about visibility and the. impact . If most big names strongly supported certain changes, that support would matter. Not because people are mindlessly following and obeying them, but because attaching big names to ideas has always shaped public opinion. This isn’t new nor is it tied to DBD. People trust creators/singers/actors/athletes they like, follow, and consume content from regularly, and that naturally affects how ideas spread and how they’re received. Thats why celebrities are used in ads, in the same way these creators are.
Do I think the devs blindly follow whatever big creators say? No. Do I think changes that are widely supported by the largest voices in the community are more likely to stick around longer or be taken more seriously? Yes, absolutely.
And as it happens, many of the biggest creators openly prefer one role over the other, which is totally fine and normal. Everyone has bias, even players who split their time evenly. But when most of the largest voices are aligned in one direction, I do think that absolutely has an effect on how discussions are framed and which concerns get attention when compared to a random individual.None of this is me saying killer mains don’t play the game or don’t think for themselves. Killers, much like survivors, are NOT a massive hive mind. But they are all humans, and humans can be and regularly are influenced. Influence exists. We see this all the time, all it takes is one single video from a big name and it increases the use of certain perks, strategies, techs, or even exploits almost overnight. That’s influence. That influence doesn’t suddenly disappear just because the topic is something they dislike.
So if my use of the word influencers came across as dismissive, my apologies, that wasn’t my intention. If they were more receptive or open to the changes, I do genuinely believe that the changes would’ve stayed around longer, because of the amount of influence that they have.
One thing I will never understand about this take is the following.
One side brings up valid points which can be discussed about and the other sides counter argument is "You just won´t have my side buffed"
There is no conter argument just trying to insult the other side.
In this example: Hey guys these things could be abused in this or that way can we talk abuot it? (adjust the numbers to 4 hooks) Answer: No we don´t want to get tunneld or slugged and you should be punished and we swear we won´t abuse it.
This is no discussion this is just demanding without seeing the other side which was trying to negotiate with arguments.
Than BHVR comes with it sledgehammer and destroys every step further and people claim Killers cried about this great update.
Just give me a reason why it should be 6 hooks

Just had a match as Dracula where an Ace knew exactly where I am behind a wall, and no matter what kind of mindgame fakes I did with Wolf Form, he always made the right choice. I couldn't even initiate the chase with because no line of sight LOL.
But on other moments this Ace ran into walls for no particular reasons against me, who looks extremely newbie.
After match he had SINGLE Hyperfocus with 1234, and that's why match gens were done with extreme efficiency. And he hid his name as well.
Easy report, and let's see if he got banned later.
Honestly subtle cheats like this are extremely common, and you might not even know it if the player is any good in hiding it.
This is a big problem I face so often myself only on the other side because i mostly play Survivor.
From time to time I see the Killer mirroring my exact movements and my first reaction is "Well he must wallhacking" but the thing is it still could be possible that he is moving exact this way without wallhacks, by skill or comeplte randomness.
A friend of mine gets reported regulary because he uses hyperfocus and most of the time hits the skill checks. (some people are just that cracked in the reaction time) But he gets called hacker.
It is hard so see the subtle cheaters and BHVR needs to do something against them or every missplay can be blamed on cheats of the other side. Lost chase? Must have teleported. Can´t hook? Must be sabo cheat and not the survivor crouching behind me. and so on you get the drill.
-
To be honest… Do you really think that BHVR only cares for some content creators?
They even showed us in their live stream that they don´t want help or fixes from Otz himself which had the proper solution for their PR on hand.
It was a big backlash for the points I wrote in my first comment and most of the people which wanted change "a real change and not a straight buff my side to oblivion" agreed that it would have been better if the penality would go live when 1 Survivor is dead on 4 hooks because that is the tunnelilng that is frustrating not to die on the sixth hook. Some Killers don´t even get this far when MMR works well.
-
The thing is I think cheaters were omipresent but just subtle.
As some of you will know the rare times I play Killer I play as Clown.
When the "buff" with the yellow bottles dropped I played some games and to be fair I have never face so many cheaters before which felt in the right to cheat because speedy clown was unfun.
Cheats like insta heals mid chase, Survivors which were somehow still faster than me or window vaults which felt faster than finesse and stuff like this.
I am no pro Killer but even I can see that if Clown takes 5 seconds to catch up when the chase starts it gets really confusing if you need 20+ seconds until you are barely in range to hit in a straight line.
What I want to say is the following. I don´t know why so many cheaters are deciding now to show themselfs but I think they have always been around subtle.
-
The problem with the Anti Tunnel Update was the following. A Killer which nuked one survivor out of the game at 4 or 5 gens got punished but it nearly had 0 impact, since 3 Survivors at 4 gens is most of the time a death sentence for Survivors. So these Killers which went into the game with full intend to tunnel didn´t take Gen Regression into the game but perks like Aura or Endgame perks because they know that they won´t get regression at all.
On the other Hand Killers which played normaly but got their first death on 6 hooks (which isn´t tunneling in my opinio. I mean you have to chase and hook atleast 3 different survivors to archive this) got punished instead.
Many players said the Anti Tunnel is fine but take the condition down. I think everyone would have been fine with dead on 4 hooks means no regression for you.
The slugging thing is on another plate. The problem was that most of the time the best play if someone got slugged was to crawl into a corner of the map and let themself stand up while the team does gens. Other aggressive things occured aswell when Survivors went down in open spots or pallets and you could see the 3 other survivors standing by for the rescue. So you got the choice pick them up and let them get the save or let them slug and save themself. It´s a lose lose situation which could be forced and this never feels good.
The only thing I am sad about is that the elusive state was scrapped. I know it could be used to to stand inside the other survivors but it would have been easy to programm that the survivor with elusive state doesn´t take a hit.
-
Monitor sadly had the "Awakend Awareness" treatment. Some perks are so incredible strong on some Killers that it is not fun.
Since BHVR don´t want to change perks for some Killers "problematic" perks get nuked.

Thanks for all these answers.
I see the discussion has finally started and I am happy to take part in it, because I saw the problematic things that can happen when you can see each others builds. Sorry I had to do it this way but I needed honest answers not an eccho camber of "No We would never do this" while I still see that Lobby dodging for some survivors is a huge problem.
Adept players and Stealthplayers (Ratplayers), non meta perks and boon builds will have a hard time to find a match if their mates are looking at their perks.
My personal solution would be to show the perks of your teammates when the loading screen into the match starts. You would get more information of your team without the risk for hours of lobby dodging.
-
Thanks for the update.
-
Does the stun get reduced by enduring?
This could backfire horribly. Start vault Killer gets stunned. Land after vault and Killer can nearly move again.
-
Bloodpoint inflation is real…
-
Maybe I am not up to date but can Ghoul still cancel his second leap mid air?
If yes, this shouldn´t be a thing.
Other than that he is just a power crept legion.
Both get a free injure, and catch up to you fast and can vault pallets.
The difference is Ghoul can hold you while vaulting a pallet and catches up faster.
Since Legion isn´t liked it was no suprise for me that ghoul won´t be liked either.
-
It is better in the most part.
I like the mix of variables of the filler pallets. Some are good some are trash but thats okay since they shouldn´t be as strong as gyms.
The only thing I disagree with is the swamp. Don´t get me wrong it is great that we get m more pallets there but… shouldn´t this map get an update first before it gets new pallets? I am afraid if we balance this map and get a rework this will get another "Now this map has become even more X sided"
-
I am afraid it will most likely look like this.
One deathslinger shoots you while Bubba swings his chainsaw over and over in your face.

Think about it like this: you go to a haunted house attraction at a carnival. The characters are scary, the atmosphere is creepy and you’re genuinely spooked. But if you keep going back, you’re never going to be as immersed as you were the first time. Sure, the costumes and the furniture and the ambient music might change around, and you might go with different people, but the house itself and the rules of the ride are fundamentally the same, and you’ll start to recognise the actors under the makeup, or the sound of the machinery underneath the floorboards. And sometimes one of the monsters faints from heat exhaustion, or one of the people you went in with starts a fight or has a panic attack and everyone has to break character. After 4 years, you won’t be scared in the slightest, and it’d be understandable if you got bored or stopped going.
If you only see DBD as a horror game, and not a pvp game with horror flavour, it’s never going to have the same longevity for you that others have found in it.
Yeah it is kinda like Phasmophobia.
It was scary at the start for me. But it lost all his horror the moment I died. Because I got the "Well that happens".
-
As I remember right…
Most people hated Lights out because you could have been forgotten on hook. Or worse slugged and no one was coming for you.
-
Lerys is fine except these double Windows. God I hate those XD
-
Tinfoil Theory.
Do you think Stranger Things called Vecna MrWhatsit so that BHVR has a name to call this new Killer?
-
I think that a friendly or farming Killer is boring most of the time.
Especially because these players tend to play rarer charakters like Trapper, Pig or Ghostface. The feeling of pure joy to face these killers after ghoul after blight after ghoul is blown appart when they swing against a pallet. So I go to gens and finish them as quick as possible. I have like 2 to 3 hours to play and I don´t want to waste 20 to 30 minutes of it to farm Bloodpoints which I have more than enough.
For myself. I like to give the last Survivor hatch but this is difficult nowadays since most survivors dc before I can wipe my weapon.
The funniest part for me is that from time to time a friendly Killer gets the full toxicity of Survivors in the Endgame chat.
Like "Lol noob Killer needs to lower his MMR." and thats a friendly respond in comparison.
-
Yeah BHVR is weird with Cheaters and the Report System.
Hey this round against default Trapper ended in 10 seconds. Seems legit to me if there is no video to confirm it.
What the Gens are finished when the match starts? Mhhh seems legit.
Oh this brand new account got all legacy skins? Nice that he sticks so long to the game.
My all time favorite are some consequences which are made against cheaters. Does someone remember the 1 Million cap on Bloodpoints so that cheaters couldn´t get an infinite amount? Well yeah… because a cheater would cheat bloodpoints in to click the old bloodweb for hours instead of just giving himself the desired item.
The main problem with cheaters is that from time to time you can´t differ between an amazing or lucky play or cheats.
"How did he know that I was hiding there?" Dude maybe he randomly checked that spot or heard you breathing. "No he must have Aura hacks."
"How did the survivor just disappear mid chase?" Dude maybe he got Quick and Quiet or hide in a corner and you overrun? "No he must have teleports."

With the recent introduction of seeing the anti facecamp meter thought something similar will help for wiggle progress
There are many times in soloq where people will try taking hits or even downs for you when you are no where near wiggling off same with the opposite where you could almost get off if someone took a hit.
SWF already has this information right away with discord callouts, adding a bar for survivors to see like has been done with anti face camp would only bridge the solo q - swf gapYeah sounds good. I see no problem with that.
I am asking myself quiet often If another hit could have saved someone. And I am tierd of counting the carrying time in my head.
-
This has some factors in it.
Killer:
The rare times when I play Killer are staying and falling with the survivors I face.
Tbag and Flashlight clicking after every predrop? Going full on Avengers when I got my first down after 4 gens popped? Being toxic in endgame chat because I tried to go for hooks over kills? Yeah… I will skip to survivor.
Survivor Soloque:
When I am playing Soloque I like to go for fun chases with the Killer. I am kinda skilled against most of them and have my fun. What can make me quit are teammates. Dcing on the first down or even worse Dcing for a Terrorradius aresuch huge turn offs. From time to time it is funny to make a countdown in my head when something happens and you see the dc coming. Bodyblocks are a turn off for me aswell and If the Killer decides for the third time to tunnel me in a row.
SwF:
Well my Squad is kinda skilled and this is most of the time the reason I don´t like it. It feels klinda sweaty. Exactly that what I don´t like to face as Killer.
It is fun to chase some crazy things like lets try to escape under 4 Minutes. But squeezing every drop of effecienty out of you is tiersome.

It's impossible to sanity check everything, but surely they can detect truly anomalous players or events. The instant mori cheaters come to mind. Statistically speaking, how many players are mori'ing 4 survivors within seconds of each other, also within seconds of the game starting? It tells me they have no detection in place if a system isn't flagging that.
Thats what I mean.
Hey the Survivor/Killer had no haste addon or perk. But he moved faster than he should. Can´t be that hard. Or Hey this guy jumped upwards? Thats…. not even possible.

Maps does not stack anymore, so SWF cannot abuse them.
However, you can still pick 4 different offerings to boost your chances closer to a 1/4 chance of getting to a desired realm.Oh really?
Well I dind't know that.
So thank you for that Information
-
Map offerings where handled weirdly.
There were many ways to change them.
- Using them to ban a map
- Creating two kinds of each map one Survivor favored and one Killer favored (Eyrie and Sand map)
- Increasing the chance for indoor or outdoor maps.
- Combine some maps like use this offering to get on one of following maps X.Y.or Z.
But we got this change to stop abusing map offerings.
Which btw didn´t do much against its abuse by SwF because they are still able to throw 4 times the same map and got an 80% chance to get the desired map.
And to be fair the system was rigged from the start because it was possible that 4 Survivors use a strong survivor map against 1 Killer which used a strong killer map. So the odds were 4to1.
-
It is weird that you need a video to showcase the hacker.
Like some games are over in 20 seconds by a default trapper which ports from survivor to survivor. "Nahh seems legit"
Other games have the exit gate powered before the camera drive at the start is over. "Nah seems legit"
This Dwight with an account which has a playtime of 10 hours has all full legacy skins. "Nah seems legit"
Problematic is that BHVR has some questionable "fixes" for some situations. If some of you remember why there is a Bloodpoiint cap at all, it was stated that cheaters shouldn´t be able to give themself unlimited bloodpoints so that they can´t spend them all. I mean no cheater ever would give themself bloodpoints to grind the bloodweb for hours (the old bloodweb) They just give themself the item and the addons they want.
My biggest problem is that you can´t differ between a good play and a cheat anymore.
Did the Killer have wallhacks or did he saw me legit or heard me breathing?
Did the Survivor teleport away or did he bambozel my camera?
-

If you remove the bloodweb and let people buy what they want, then BHVR will never be able to change any item or addon ever again because of complaining.
Strong item/addon nerfed - undo the nerf, I put all my bp into this so I dont have anything else to use!
weak item/addon buffed - so what, I dont have any of these, ill just run my meta addon/item so I dont have to grind BP!
Bloodweb is good because it gives you some control over what you get but still forces you to diversify. The issue with the bloodweb imo is how absolutely punishing it is for newer players by forcing them to commit to one main until they play enough to dump levels into different characters. (Which would not change if you remove it, a new player will not be able to afford buying a full perk loadout + items + addons + offering for every character they want to play, esp killer)
That is my point. You are gutting new players because they don´t have that much BPs- But a Veteran can always use the desired addons and stuff.

this needs to be done with every thread atp. imagine how much better feedback the devs would get for upcoming proposed changes or current changes on a detailed explanation post instead of “these changes are horrible. revert them!”
Well I agree with you but this isn´t easy at all with the community.
I made a lot of suggestions how to change things, from how to avoid 4 man slug to change of perks to make tunneling less attractive. Some of these post get creative feedback but most of the time it is only one of these:
- Well actually in this scenario which occurs 1 of 10000 games this could be abused.
- No I don´t like change to X can someone please think on the poor x mains?
- I got no clue on this game
From time to time I think people don´t really want a change because they like the status of the game, are affraid that something changes or that a change isn´t good if it doesn´t make their side broken.
-
First of all good take.
We wanted them not to be unlimited and not nuked.
Second thing should be to make the fog the same on every map. Like before the nerf some maps were counters for fog vials because they gave nearly no fog at all.

I know this community and after people used the claudette mask on bubba to bm streamers… Yeah I am pretty sure that people will come up with something like this.
We are talking about a community which finds spamming the crouch button or pressing w and s as offensive.
People claimed hitting on hook toxic.

Could be abused for racism or sexism I am afraid.
Humping a dead survivor on waist level with your face and stuff
There was a reason why hooks respawn at all. Would be bad to remove it again.

This would basically be coupled with giving killers actual incentives for hooking survivors. Things like a small basekit painres that just blows up all the gens for like 5-10% or other effects that make it so now that tunneling is gone, the game is properly balanced around basically 12 hooking for the win.
Okay fair point.

Basically i would go further than just no collision. I would make them have basically spirits power. They cannot be seen, interacted with, make no noise, no scratch marks, no nothing. But during that time they can't do anything. They can't heal, they can't save, they can't do a gen, they cant drop pallets etc.
I think it is a good way to implement this. But the problem which I see here is that you can just run to a gen as an complete immune Survivor and start it when the Killer is away.
Not sure what could be done against this tho.

DbDs community is always difficult in such things.
Is it cheating if I can put background noises low with my 500$ Headset if I play Spirit? I think it is not but it is an outgame advantage.
Is it cheating to use comms which are outside of the game. I think not but it is an advantage from a third party programm.
So is it cheating when a Blight can do a 360° Flip because he used his sensibility on his mouse. Sadly I think it is not. Is it stupid? Ofcourse but it is not cheating.
Another example which came to my mind. Many players where outraged that some Huntress players used a third party cross hair. But where totally fine if someone used some tape to make a crosshair on their desktop.

The survivor can skip the mori because the survivor already had the abandon option for a long time already. Mechanically speaking, its quite hard to disable the abandon ability. It's not suddenly the survivor gaining the abandon feature. And to be fair, so what? The game is literally going to end the same way for you at that point. Either way you will have the mori, the only difference is that the survivor isnt watching the mori with you (in which case, why do you care that the other player has to watch your mori?)
For killers, the moment survivors are able to unhook a teammate in the case the killer is camping his 1k, they are going to abandon, despite it being possible to still turn the situation around and gain a kill (survivors dont always pick the best pathing, I've seen many people die after we managed to unhook someone and were in a situation to basically guarantee a 4 man out, yet someone decided dropping a weak pallet and vaulting it twice was a good idea, they cant abandon when the other 3 survivors escape normally).
So at what point do you introduce the abandon feature for killers without effectively removing 10-20% of the game? With survivors, most abandon options dont matter. You would always pick them up for hooks anyway, or you would always bleed them out. You would always have to mori. And even in the few other cases where abandon appears when IMO it shouldnt but because there are edge cases, the survivor gets replaced with a bot and you still get to play and none of the gameplay gets removed or impacted much untill 2+ survivors were able to abandon (in fact, the bots can be harder to deal with than the real players)
I can understand survivors camping in the exitgate, but then at what point do you introduce it? They could be healing inside the exitgate for a multitude of reasons, perhaps going back to rescue their teammate on a hook, but you're a killer who does have the capability to down survivors if they are slightly too far removed from the exitgate. And even if they do manage to implement that, the same survivors who now edgecamp the exitgate, would just slightly stand outside the exitgate so you cant abandon.
It is functionally impossible to add in an abandon feature for the killer on top of the current ones, because the killer always has agency. All survivor abandon options are because they remove player agency. Even the slugging 3 times exists, because basekit endurance doesnt exist on pickup. As I said. Give the Killer the abbandon mechanic when all remaining survivors are behind the Exit Gate. You can still decide as Killer if you want to try to go for the Kill or not. So no the argument that some Killers could do something doesn´t fit here because the Killer has to decide.
If you have red my arguments than you should know that if the last Survivor got unhooked in endgame the Killer could not abbandon in this Situation. He can only do it if all survivors are in the safe zone behind the gate. If they are out of this zone it is fair game for Killers but when you are at the gate spamming emote to fall safely out of the gate where is the point?
To be fair this argument is funny at all. "But you can still kill me so you shold endure toxicity" but if the Killer tunnels someone out survivors go "Why would you kill me thats toxic"
And just repeating myself I haven´t seen someone answering my question. "Why is it important for Survivors that the Killer hits them out?"

so.. how will gen progression or second chance perks impacted. should you only be able to use dead hard or sprint burst once per trial ? please explain to me how this would do anything other then completely kill the game . ive heard some bad ideas in my time but this .. wow. congrats .
Did you read my post?
I never said something about gutting Exhaustions perks. Neither I cried out to nuke regression.
I just said that a perk which is designed for "spreading hooks" should get more out of itself if you spread hooks and do less if you don´t spread out hooks.

Go pour another drink? Toilet visit? Just do something else for a couple of mins if a toxic group is waiting around exit gate to t-bag. I don't understand how small things is such a huge problem for some people.
Back in the days getting facecamped by Bubba put a smile on my face as survivor while some just went nuts. Relax it's just a game!
Then you can say the same to a 4 man slug just go pour another drink? Toilet visit? Just do something else for a couple of mins if a toxic killer is waiting around you to press W and S.
