I'm Pretty sure you can report then for "holding the game hostage"
tho.. it seems like more of your teammates faults than the killer lmao how does it take you 14 minutes to do gens with literally no killer pressuring you
-
deathslinger is harder to use, less efficient, less useful and less fun to both go with and against than huntress
-
clown, plague and legion are some of my favorites

So the same as b/t d/h and d/s as a crutch for bad loopers?
how is BT or DS unbalanced, I would love to hear you explain

I love discordance on her, you know the far away gens to shoot at. use it with maybe pop or ruin or whatever regression perk you enjoy

Not really a fan of that playstyle but thanks for the suggestion.
even if you're not a fan of doing that Pain resonance is an amazing perk all around even without dead man's switch

Discordance for killer, spine chill for survivor.
I have used spine skill so long taking it off makes me feel blind.
Discordance usually gives me a great idea how much any given chase is going to cost me. Mid-chase I see the icon go off and can make the decision right then and there if it's worth continuing.
discordance and tinkerer is also a great combo for information. if two people do a generator then you're gonna now it before they get to that 70% mark, and if a survivor does it alone then you can basically guarantee that you'll get them with tinkerer before they finish the gen unless they have a very good toolbox + resilience + spine chill or something crazy like that
-
even in a swf distortion allows you to callout lethal pursuer, bitter murmur, nurse's calling, and whatever aura reading addons they may have! really glad they added a 4th token, I like all of Jeff's teachables they are all so useful in their own way

I've actually been using Rookie Spirit a bunch lately, I feel like it's one of those perks that might seem useless on the surface but it has a lot of utility in todays meta - with many gen regression perks being present. It helps keep me focused and aware of which gens to move to or keep an eye on
It also helps keep track of where the killer is, if you see a gen suddenly go white then unless ruin is in play you know the killer is in that direction.
With a small buff of some kind I think rookie spirit might be one of my favourite info perks!
As for killer, I really enjoy Hex: Retribution. Just a really fun perk to bring
I agree! my favorite thing about rookie spirit is how it's active for 90% of the trial, so if you hit those skill checks early, which isn't really hard to do you are already benefiting from the information of the perk. it also synergizes well with flashbang, which is another Leon perk
and retribution gives you a LOT of information, often the survivors cleansing a hex when I'm using retribution helps me turn the game around
-
hag is not really underrated, I feel like everyone knows she's like top 5 strongest killers right now

whispers and spine chill

Don't tell me to run Calm Spirit. Survivors DO NOT KNOW WHICH KILLER THEY ARE FACING.
It's so easy to type in a forum, "just counter him dude!" but what you are really saying is I now have only 3 perk slots because my 4th perk slot must be Calm Spirit from now until the end of time just in case a Doctor pops up in my match.
also, using rocks and obstacles to hide from a killer is done by every survivor every game.... survivors have 3rd person view to achieve this all the time. There is FUN anxiety when you are hiding and the killer is walking past you on the opposite side of the rock and doesn't knwo you are there. Or the killer came to search for you after you completed a gen, and you are circling a thick tree to remain hidden.
But the Doctor RUINS ALL OF THIS. The guy literally just uses his AOE and boom, next target found. It's beyond stupid. I dont know why the devs would ever greenlight this ability, it destroys one of the CORE ASPECTS of this game.
if you don't wanna run calm spirit then stop bitching about it, I literally just gave you a solution and you're saying you're not gonna follow it because you don't feel like using calm spirit. well, okay then, don't use it and stop crying about a balanced ability on a mediocre killer

cool, i'll release a killer that has wings and can fly across the map and swoop down and hook survivors in its claws and fly them to a hook.
if anyone complains --> LiTeralLy ThE poInT oF thE ChaRaCteR
.....
that'd have no counterplay, and that's why it would be unfair. there's a lot of counterplay to doctor lol

2 killers and 8 survivors would be insane and awesome, but the risk of 8 toxic players teaming up, thats real horror 😆.obviously im a killer. Yeah, maybe repairing a wire connecting the generators could be good, its location could light up only for survivors after last generator pops. But only if the game is under 5 mins.
hey, if you got bullied then at least you'd have a friend to help you! :D

Anything that is ANTI-FUN, that is, that makes playing the game not fun, should be looked at. For both sides. The aim of game play design should be to create abilities and gameplay that does not break the core tenets of the game and is not overly stressful that it ruins the game's FUN aspect.
- Bubba's chainsaw able to facecamp, insta down AoE multiple targets, and has many charges, AND can turn directions
- The doctor's AOE reveal scream. This mechanic breaks the fundamental tenets of the game. The hide and seek aspect of a HORROR game is completely nullified with this broken, stupid mechanic. And it even penetrates upper or lower floor levels. It's completely stupid. The killer doesn't have to search for you, you remove the tension and fear of the killer looking for you.
- Nurse blinking through walls. Again, another stupid ability that completely breaks the core tenets of the game. This time, the CHASE aspect. The chase aspect of a horror game is the most tense, exciting parts of this game. And Nurse completely ruins it with this stupid mechanic that allows her to simply teleport through obstacles, pallets, and even walls. This is ANTI-FUN written all over it.
- Decisive Strike should be CORE on all Survivors. Being tunneled out of a game is one of the most frustrating, anti-fun things in this game.
- The game needs to stop being about kills/escapes. A kill should be worth a lot of points, and an escape too, yes, but the game needs to utilize all of those amazing stat tracking that we ALREADY have.... and combine everything into an overall GRADE and Title Score for each Survivor. So even if you die, you helped your team succeed and escape as a martyr hero... which is a core thing in all horror movies... the hero who takes on the killer so others can get away. People would not feel as bad for dying anymore.. when they get a good score and the title "Heroic Survivor" for achieving a lot of points to contribute to the match, even if they died.
I have a few more to add to the list.
>The doctor's AOE reveal scream. This mechanic breaks the fundamental tenets of the game.
literally the point of the character

literally a worse flashlight, can people stop complaining about the other side doing ANYTHING?

And all of the above are outstanding killers once you climb few steps up.
Then the BS starts, dh ds boil over coh, you wonder the f of the game u bought. And stop playing it.
why do people still complain about ds?? and boil over isn't even good. dead hard and coh could use some rebalancing tho

I didn't receive them

You say Myers is unfair, and you mention Ghostface is fair.
What about Bubba? He instadowns you even though you never seen him before either. And yet Bubba does NOT need to charge up to Tier 3, nor does he need to stalk you. He just runs at you and starts swinging right off the bat.
Tell me how Bubba is fair. Beucase he is too strong imo
vault a window

vault a window
-
but they are all pretty fun to go against
-
maybe not ALL killers but yeah I'd like to see some of the more human killers getting voice lines
-
the CoH nerf literally won't change anything
-
because it's so funny to have a survivor try to blind you and then run away

Why do people want noed to be nerfed? Like every week i see 2 or 3 posts saying noed is op????? its a ######### HEX PERK dude.. just FIND and CLEANSE the TOTEM you have 1 BILLION PERKS and an ITEM to HELP you FIND TOTEMS easily.
in my personal opinion, noed is op because the survivors have to put WAAAAAY more effort into countering it than the killer in using it. also, it takes 0 skill and it's very unfun and unfair because survivors don't like getting one shotted with no mistake on their end and it's unfair because the killer did not have to work for that insta-down, while other exposed perks such as devour hope and haunted grounds require either a change in your playstyle or a mistake on the survivor's end respectively

Wont prevent Killers from mass-opening Threads to nerf every Survivor-Perk in existence. :]
the only perks I see killers complain about are dead hard, coh and the new boil over

I wasn't around when old freddy was here, but like, in terms of being closer to the source material then old freddy was definitely better, and I think that's what they should prioritize when making a licensed killer.

Am I the only one that enjoys underused perks way more than meta perks? Like if I use pop on a gen, meh. It's a lot of value, but doesn't feel as satisfying as getting value out of something like unrelenting. Like if I miss an attack but don't lose a bunch of distance because of unrelenting, it just feels so satisfying. Or when spies from the shadows actually works and you end up catching a survivor you had no idea was near by. It just feels sooo much more satisfying.

my favorite survivor perks are breakdown, after care, we are gonna live forever and detective's hunch lol

wraith.

nice piggy pic!

ah yes, let's nerf the clown

out of all the killers in this game... why complain about nemesis??? his zombies can be mildly annoying sure, but that's kinda it

If a killers power isn't lethal then it is pointless. Look at plague. If nobody cleanses then she is just a super tall m1 bot that you can loop for ages.
all survivors only have 1 health state tho!

dead hard is used more than ruin and bbq because there are 4 survivors every match lol

Considering the survivors also play at a very high level and know how to counter your power.
I would say its Blight or Oni.
Blight because survivors will abuse most tiles and obstacles to counter your rushes and get angles on you that make it hard to get hits for you. Ofc it depends on the map aswell but even Mac Millain can be tought against a good squad. You need a lot of muscle memory to get good angles and know when you want to rush and when not, also knowing when to cancel your rushes or using techs aswell.
Oni is also pretty hard on high level because in these days every team plays with circle of healing OR strong healing builds. With this in mind you have very few blood to work around and its easy to get thrown back to M1 oni like in the early game, you need a good understanding of when, how and how long you wanna stay in the blood fury to manage your blood overall. Also good survivors will make it hard for you to get demon dash hits on most tiles, they can make you waste a lot of blood fury time which again is very tough. As soon as you run out of blood or injured survivors then its basicly game over for you.
In the other hand I would say Hag and Freddy are the easiest Killers. Freddy is pretty obvious, you spam snaires around a loop, zone them and try to blood lust or just mindgame there then. Mostly survivors will just leave the loop and the cycle repeats. On Hag in the other hand you do need to know some planing and strategy, where you want to place your traps, how many at which area of the map. Which area or corner of the map you wanna stick to etc.
However this all doesnt require too much time to get into also once you got into that mind set of a Hag it doesnt take much after that. Hag is also basicly a M1 killer that just places traps, there is no much mechanical skill or muscle memory required that you need to build up slowly.
These are my takes, let me know what you think.
against amazing survivors I think hillbilly is the hardest
-
not meta but still good
-
some kind of grab validation would be nice too. too many times I get on a survivor on a gen, press m1, the animation starts and then they let go and it doesn't count
-

Just don't say gg after please, thats all I want.
being nice is apparently toxic now
-
well, this got off topic pretty fast
anyways, no. security breach doesn't increase the odds of Springtrap coming to dbd at all
-
nurse and spirit are also fun, I just really don't like going against hag
-
it's not toxic at all, survivors shouldn't rely on items too much anyway. and if you REALLY want a medkit then just go open a chest or something
-
fire up is so OP! imagine if survivors did actions faster for every gen they complete!
-
Power struggle has saved my ass sometimes and it's very unexpected for the killer, I already created a habit of not walking through pallets when carrying a survivor but most killers don't do that. In the killer side, Trail of Torment is a perk which I think doesn't get the love I deserves, basically on-demand undetectable as long as there is an unkicked gen
-
it's very big and the sounds of paint coming out of the ground kind of remind me of self care/med kit healing so it always distracts me, overall, for dbd standards, it's a good map!
-
well, ds is a reference to that scene in halloween where Laurie stabs Myers in the eye, so I don't we should make it basekit. Also, it seems like that was your teammate's fault for unhooking you in front of the killer with no bt and not taking a hit

Really bad for all skillsets of slinger players:
Newer slingers can no longer rely on monitor to prevent W keying, so they either have to learn map wide zoning and hard 3 genning with him (which takes quite a lot of time, hence why there was very few actual good slingers.) or eat the fat W key.
Mediocre slingers can no longer rapidly zone (which is a good thing), this means they have to learn shots and become better.
BUT
For good slingers hitting unpredictable nice shots against good players is borderline impossible with 0.4 second ADS. You are forced to zone even more than old slinger and he's incredibly painful to learn if you weren't already good with him.
Basically he became easily one of the least fun killers to play in the game no matter how good or bad with him you were.
oh wow that sucks

imagine you got a really nice ice cream.
now imagine someone came over, knocked it out of your hand and stepped on it 15 times before slapping you in the face.
thats pretty much how it feels to play current Deathslinger in comparison to his old version.
fr? when I read the patch notes it sounded like a very minor nerf, apparently they did him dirty
-
I never played slinger, how bad is the nerf?

diagnosis: skill issue

demo, definitely one of my favorite killers
