Losing mindset = lost game before the start

Change it to "I'm gonna try to hit my best hatchets"! If you hit a good one at the trial they will be afraid of you because you're deadly!

Keep trying mate, she's the most rewarding when playing! Nothing compares to a good hit with those hatchets

No when I said when I try my best I mean actually trying to win because I cant win when im bad and getting upset over that will make me give up I try my absolute best to hit my hatchets

Slugging is a smart strategy, used to slow the game down whenever gens begin to go way too fast.

It also punishes bad plays. Stop acting like slugging is some sort of toxic crime for killers to be doing. Sometimes, it's the best choice. Along with camping and tunneling. Sometimes those are the optimal plays.

I think he means constant sluggers. Those are absolutely annoying 3 gens left to complete and this demo slugged repeatedly and only hooked to use bbq to slug the rest before hooking and he knew what he was doing and all good pallets were gone or no filler pallets that was annoying and no one should play like that.

Every time I see one of these posts I make this comment and it's usually lost to the masses but whatever...

NOED exists to counter efficiency teams. Teams that it doesn't matter how good or bad you're doing, you're just going to be lucky to get a single kill.

You can be one of the best Killers in the game against one of these teams and no matter what you do, how consistent you are with hooking and downing and slugging, you're not winning.

The ONLY thing that can stand a chance against teams like this is NOED because efficiency teams only ever do what's required of them to get out and nothing more. Get in. Bang out 17 second generators. Get out. No totems no chests no ######### around. Just perfect loops and borderline instant generator progress.

I had this crap I played doctor on sheltered woods against ass survs had a ok 3 gen and I never went into a chase that took me away but I ended chases quickly hooked very consistently 2 people left a gen at each door split pressure both gens almost done got one girl the other used adrenaline as I picked the girl up but the door was open AND hatch was behind it so even if I DID make it she would have got hatch and if I closed it she would escape and I only 3k because I looked at a tree and still got a flash save done but I wasn't too mad because she earned the save fair and square and it shows without pop you basically suck and doc lacks lethality you have great cornering and zoning but you cant guarantee they won't still vault that window a second early whereas alot of m1 killers have lethal abilities docs just insures hits if I had pop oh boy they would have been upset

Well if survivors are going to award him for it, why should he stop?

No I got an issue with both don't don't think this is only towards the billy. It ain't as I've showed in my actual text. Either way the killer and survs play upon each other and camping with a strong killer regardless of being awarded is dumb as hell you got one of the strongest most balanced and versatile killers that you prestiged 3 so you obviously like them and know how to play, even if only rudimentary. So why camp? And as for survivors everyone knows they should have gen rushed.

Yeah the game is "balanced"(hehe) around that some survivors might be that good, but hopefully not all you meet are. If its only, lets say 2 of the survivors that can loop you until bloodlust 2+ activates. Then I almost think thats ok. The one thing I really need to learn to do (getting better at it) is to leave a survivor. If I cant get a single hit on a survivor within like 30-40 seconds. Then I need to just drop him in most cases and go look for someone worse. If it turns out they are all like that. Very rare. But it happens since I am still not that experienced. Got like 700 hours but like 100 of those are in the menu/queue (at least :P) and like 150 are as survivor. And only in the last like 10-20% of play time have I been playing red ranks.

We all know rank means dick. But at red ranks you at least have a higher chance of meeting the "God-survivors". Its all about learning the best counter play possible. Which sometimes is just saying. Nope not this guy. And other times is, "Well ######### they are all insane. Time to just down one and camp him, since there is only 1 gen left when I do get him". Is it fair? No but that happens in almost all multiplayer games, even games like League or CS:GO where you would think rank matters. Sometimes the enemy team is just that much better than you despite being similar ranks. Maybe communication maybe just the play style. Who knows. But sometimes you just lose hard.

And I know that those are 2 different type of games. Them being 2 teams vs each other and this being asymmetrical. But I still think its comparable. Unless it happens more often than not, then I still think its ok. To the killers and survivors having a hard time, well mostly killers. There are some good videos by scott jund/Ohtofu on how to run tiles. And just watching them, otz or someone maining who you like to play can help a ton.

See I know how to run tiles and I usually never meet really great survs and when i get wrecked its usually playing nurse huntress or billy who are easy to counterplay when I suck at them and ghostface because red ranks are usually very aware of surroundings but yeah this guy has like 2000 hours and it also wasnt a chase from a public match where you control the loops we run and learn each other like If I went up against him to the full of my ability and add-ons in a real match he would probably be easier but he would learn my tactics fast the only difference is ill have zoning to my advantage when we 1v1 we just did meat tree to jungle gym to pallet gym to shack and some filler pallets so very generic loops that were close enough to chain and since it was a friendly 1v1 we pretty much know each other pathing just a matter of who guesses and plays right but I also have that issue as well ive wrecked a whole team as oni and one flash clicked like crazy so I was like nah im going to get you at all costs threw the game for her and a 2k was worth it but kinda sucked and I dont know my lunge ramge so I get ambitious at loops who knows maybe unrelenting could help

Sure it is going to happen. But sounds like you have the skill to escape and win more than you lose.

Also, I agree, often teammates don't step up and take hits for the guy being tunneled. Luckily I swf with my wife and daughter, so we constantly take hits for each other to break bloodlust or save someone from death hook.

I'm not a tunneling fan either. But sometimes it is the right tactic. Not often. But sometimes it will swing a match back to the killer. If that is a killer's main tactic in games, then I would agree they could get better.

Honestly im kinda jealous id love to swf my gf but crossplay isn't here yet and she hasn't played the game recently so ill have to teach her but no im not against tunneling and camping itself but the timing and context like if a killer tunnels and camps as a gameplay tactic they suck and some points you cant find anyone else or their teammates just hide after unhook so of course go for who you have to but for me when you camp at 4 gens left you're garbage and people can say all they want about it being entitlement or survivor rulebook but when you have no pressure against you as a killer why play in a way that is just unfun and unfair I only tunnel and camp if 3 gens are popped in 2 or 3 minutes maybe even 2 because I can sense how the game will end that or when I play nurse or huntress because I want to get better but also want to at least black pip and even then I rarely do it unless pressured into it

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1411246#Comment_1411246

Yeah all you can do is, hope his allies arent that good. If he is the best survivor just let him live. Kill his allies and 1 hook him. Not a fun way to die for him but hey what other choice do you have. This is ofc not all maps that this is that bad, but if you are on a bad map (lets say ormond) with 4 people that can all loop like maniacs. Too bad. Unless you are playing one of the trifecta(Nurse, spirit, freddy), you have just been dealt a game over.

See thats the thing though this guy I went up against literally knoes how to fast vault so close to the window and he just taught me so much today but this guy is IMPOSSIBLE to beat without a killer who can negate loops like it sounds to good to be true but for example at shack if you go in he vaults if you don't he fakes and if you fake he will instantly vault and he can read so well and I also know not everyone is this good he is the best survivor ive gone against but it still shows how powerful survs are because even if I was a really good killer I was playing m1 billy to work on chases without ability but it made me realize that if you have any skill on loops and you chain them and drop pallets to get their bloodlust away or take a hit to more pallets you either bloodlust a pallet that becomes a 50 50 because you may or may not fall for a vault bait or you get random collision or you break a pallet and waste more time on other loops like wth if you take me to bloodlodge and I have good jungle gyms ok but if you get all the filler pallets... Thats game over

  • @CrowFoxy said:

Remember when the devs listened to everyone about Nurse and her add ons? But instead of not doing anything they actually nerfed her add ons even more from PTB because they recovered too fast?

Dude she needed an add on rework thats it why they nerfed her ability makes noill sense like she is the hardest killer in the whole game and with a max of 2 blinks that are easy to juke unless they are good or lucky which its hard to be good with her her cooldowns are annoying they aren't too bad but it was still unnecessary

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1411223#Comment_1411223

If it works flawlessly, then no concern, great for both parties. However I can see chasing a really good survivor player for 2 minutes, finally get that final hit as they are vaulting a window, only for the game to negate it "due to connection" now they are another 30 seconds ahead, and you have to spend what would of been a 2 minute chase, in what is now a 3-4 minute chase. We will see soon enough...

Can't blame a fix for your chases and I also know that some chases just cant be won like a bunch of filler pallets, but if someone has good paying and good looping skills and you keep failing to get them you have to let them live. It sucks but I just 1v1 the best survivor I've ever gone against and he has lots of hours but he loops optimally and he always changes his gameplay style he is the type of guy you cant beat without losing the game unless deadzoned or playing a killer who negates loops and Tbh this gane is really unfair in that case. But still just because now the hits will be fixed means nothing if you are not good enough to get a down or rng is too survivor sided go for the weaker ones

  • @th3 said:

It doesn’t seem to have impacted pyramid heads lethality since the change from playing against him.

Yeah that's why it is funny, like yeah it was a good way to find someone, but it still is I just went up against a pyramid head the day the fix happened and he sent a jeff to the cage and I saved jeff and lo and behold pyramid head was there and only left to tunnel the girl off hook. Like come on look cross map and go there and you can still tunnel or go after someone new or even better save the cages for endgame when you can use them better

  • @Clevite said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1407171#Comment_1407171

Takes some skill to keep winning chases. You could argue it is the survivor's lack of skill in chases that allows for them to be tunneled out of the game.

The counter to tunneling is effective looping. Also the team should take hits and divert the killers attention to allow the tunneled one to get away.

You can get tunneled all game and still lose. Regardless of how good you are. If you're team does not help which they usually don't you are screwed, have you not seen any of the streamers die? Like I've been tunneled all game by an oni and I used DS and everything. The ONLY reason I escaped was adrenaline and he bloodlust 3 on me meaning he still hit me and I would have died, but he was dumb enough to break a pallet by the gate. I also went up against a pig on the game and was tunneled until no pallets just about and completely deadzoned, my team took aggro on my death hook and she still went after my scratch marks goving up free kills. I made ONE mistake when I kept resulting the pallet in the back of security room, she wouldnt break it so if bait her to coming to swing anf vault over, but I went an inch to far and was hit while I was over the pallet. Forgot I had adrenaline got smacked back down and even if I didn't forget there was no pallets close enough or enough time to get to a door or for it to be open. I played as optimal as RNG and good or bad loops would allow and to the best of my ability and I STILL died. Also you can't escape because any smart killer knows how to follow scratch marks

Sorry for the swarm, but I have a spot in both sides here. Yes, tunneling is required if you’re in a pinch. However, the term “tunneling” is usually tied to the act of focusing down one Survivor and ignoring everything else to get rid of them before they recover, thus disallowing them to play the game normally, which isn’t fun. I see what you’re talking about, 1v3 is easier to take on, but the fourth one is still a person. I’d feel bad about taking them out early without giving them a chance to breathe.

1v3 is not fair of 5 gens are left 1v3 is only fair at 2 or 3 if they are good survs

Still don't get how a killer killing someone efficiently is considered scummy.

See there you go if you look at it in that light you will never understand anything and its close minded and its only efficient if you have potato survivors a killer unless really good cannot 4k with tunneling consistently also its efficient to gen rush yet that is annoying and needs to be dealt with as well but hey it seems that people who are close minded only care for their opinion

  • @caz_ said:

    Nope, it doesnt matter anymore!

either you get very skilled people or just potatoes! rank1 is just a clown fiesta, mixed with everything.

just 2 days ago i played against a survivor who never looked behind him and throwed all pallets, didnt know how to play at all. and he was rank 1-2.

i mean you get boosted with the ranks just by doing gens and saving people and here you go easy pip.

Honestly though. But my question was a rhetorical insult to killers because so many still play trashy at high ranks and when youre a killer to rank up is harder than surv and actually takes skill so to play trashy why the hell should you be at that rank but yes totally agree with the whole potato thing

  • Its scummy because it is unfair and you get a guaranteed kill with no skill involved while ruining someone elses time. That is just downright s cummy and a tactic only bad killers need to do

  • @Zoldyar said:

Just like every game. Rank means nothing in a game that involve around teamwork. Unless you are a killer then your rank does say a lot about you.

Thats what I was referring to because we all know surv rank is pointless almost like I played with a person who was rank 1 for being a blenders im rank one because I always try to max out my objectives whether I escape or not I try and make my rank dependent on me but how I judge skill and whether you deserve a rank is by chases if you loop right and for how long if you are on shack you should be able to loop it for 1 minute minimum unless a good killer or a insta down

I had 3 today. Two of the killers used them on death hook, one would tunnel off first hook. Red rank on ps4, run into them daily, always appreciate the killers that use them on death hook.

Death hook? I dont remember ever going against that like holy crap man you are lucky

If you remember old ruin, i think you know endgame pig. She used to be able to attach traps on survivors at any point in the game, and they couldn't leave until they removed it. However, she got nerfed so that if a trap is attached on a survivor and all the gens are finished already, they can still escape. I know you're a survivor main so don't be mad but most of the things BHVR does is to help create a more relaxing experience for survivors. It's the reason why rank 1 is filled with a whole ton of wussies nowadays that can't handle pressure and difficulty in the game. If it gives them a hard time, then it gets nerfed.

    Ruin, Pig, Nurse.....what's next?

Well when i say survivor main its my gameplay of choice and majority and a point I played them evenly but swf and stress ruined it btw im red rank at both so I do understand lots of what you say so I won't be mad but I mained.killer to rank 12 and hated swf but I ONLY played ghost face so going against people without being able to use my power was hard and I gave up but I didnt know that other killers would be better for more aware survs so I went to the surv side hence why I never really knew about put and why I didnt know killer was the hardest game mode but yeah I do agree a lot of nerfs are for survivor but there have been MAJOR nerfs to to loop and maps which is a game changer Tbh I dont notice really and infinites were never my style blood lust made it to where infinites just didn't seem so strong but then again I sucked when I tried them I only really got good after like 500 hours because I finally achieved that level where you finally understand loops and maps you know? Like so many red ranks play for such little time and they suck but once you hit 500 hours the skill goes up sorry I digress but yeah I look at things objectively so I wont get mad and I agree so many wussies are on this game that need more time to play instead of thinking they're good for living due to hiding or 4k due to mori but I do agree endgame pig makes sense but with egc it would break the game basically and a new meta of pig with noed anf blood warden would be a thing egc timer is 2 minutes pig trap is 1 and blood warden is also 1 so if you blood warden then trap after you guarantee kills and it would be game breaking for the two to exist together

  • @batax90 said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/167997/rank-1-does-it-matter

You cant get rank 1 if you camp you lose to many emblem for that when you are red rank you will depip even if you 4k. For killer its harder to get rank 1 you can only count on yourself but you get ######### by the map lets be honest most map favor the survivor even after the map update.

I can agree somewhat but I can also say that like lets say gas heaven which is a map that has really good survivor sides but when it has no filler pallets its easy to die so I would say rng balances it alot because ive had lots of good maps but no pallets or pallets too far away so I inevitably had short loops and my point in this is that lots of killers are high rank doing this and getting points because survs either suck at hookbombing or don't do gens but I do agree keeping rank 1 doing that is survivors fault but it is still a dumb way to play and yes to me ranks matter as killer because its hard at red ranks

  • @OmegaXII said:

Camping and tunnelling is unfair for one survivor, but it's very fair for the whole team. The killer will generally depip with those tactics, if the survivors are smart. However, i have seen so many survivors decide to play into these killers' hand, resulting in 4k.

I got to rank 1 the hard way, harder than normal people because i play without add-ons.

Yeah I tend to play without add-ons or just ones I dont even know how to use and I mean camping and tunneling is fair to a point if you go up against weak survivors that meand you are guaranteed a 4k by tunneling no matter what even if they dont fall for camps and other things and frankly I HATE doing chases and no gens popping I was chased by a legion on lerys for at least 2 gens but only 1 was popped my friend was working on one while the other 2 survs were doing nothing and I got tunneled after he hit my rescuer I grabbed a crown for points and was going to let him down me for ds and got mori which I didnt know he had

  • @Chewy102 said:

If I feel like I need to. Someone is gonna die by any means I can kill them. And if that means I need to tunnel/camp, then so be it.

It is a game by game choice though. Most often Im a "fair' Killer and just want to play the game and will choose to chase healthy Survivors or give chances to someone I see as weak. But as I just want to play the game. If there is no one else to chase then Im sorry but you gonna die. And as "winning" is a big part of playing said games, Im gonna flat out murder someone to win like @Dead_by_Gadfly said when the game is on the line.

Still will give hatch if I think they earned it though.

Unless Im role playing that night. Then there are no rules and just murder in according to what Killer Im playing.

See I agree as ive stated in my post and im glad likeminded people agree it gives me hope for this community

  • @Dead_by_Gadfly said:

I think of it like fired up, the more gens get done the more aggressive I get. If were down to 2 gens and ive only got 2 hooks, idgaf if its my faukt cause i screwed up or if they were gen rushing people are getting camped. Glives are off.

As faemr as tunneling it depends on what you mean. If you unhook someone in front of me you better have bt or that person is getting slugged and im chasing you. But no i dont tend to tunnel. I will prioritize though and theres a bifmg difference between the 2.

No I agree the only gameplay ill do is slugging the unhook for pressure but im usually generous enough to let them go because time was wasted picking them up or eating there ds after I hook someone else and then ill chase them unless someone is on a gen

  • @shanny_boi said:

Speaking of nerfs, bring endgame pig back !!! And maybe old ruin?

Yes bring ruin back new one is trash hell im a survivor main for the most part but I hate ruin nerf and idk about endgame pig I dont think I played during that time

  • @SilentChill said:

lol now we are in the taunting phase .. dont worry guys you will still have plenty to complain about when the killers adjust.

Nah it's just funny how people are upset about this. Tunneling isn't fair to anyone nor the killer and not to mention if you tunnel as a killer who negates loops and DS youre trash unless you have been gen rushed or a swf or some toxicity. If you are good at killing you don't need to tunnel just because ds wont work and if you jump on every opportunity to tunnel you obviously are an insecure killer who has no faith in your abilities

When was it and is he harder now?

  • @EldritchElise87 said:

Have you bound turning to Q and E yet? That helps a ton. I mean the way I learned billy is to stop caring about winning, and just playing match after match without using m1 at all. But when playing normally you do need to m1 too. Being able to fake rev is a big part of it.

Good survivors will know where you can chainsaw and how to bait it, so you have to concede some loops to an m1 from time to time, like the shack for example, you can absolutely get chainsaw hits across the doors and around the outside walls, but most players will expect it, so you kind of have to play around it. But honestly best thing is just to forget about m1s for a bit and try and hit every chainsaw, you soon work out what you can get away with and what you can't

But against good players half of it is time management and map knowledge.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1401270#Comment_1401270

Hmm I am on console so I cant

  • @EldritchElise87 said:

Billy is hard, but also top tier. Tofus videos on curving are good, but just hundreds of hours of practise to know what loops and tiles you can get saw-hits at.

loop need a video on that I learned a good amount from his guide but ultimately i need to know when to use his power effectively and practice using it I mained billy until I got to the good players who I just couldn't curve to hit on loops and it was so frustrating because I HATE M1 I only want to chainsaw or I feel like trash btw I should probably say I play on console

  • @ALostPuppy said:

With his new bugs and really bad FOV, I see Billies miss more chainsaws than ever, and we've had to put up with these bugs for, what, 3 months now? Even with that, playing as addonless Billy can be pretty difficult because he's not amazing without add-ons unless you have something else that can help you. Using engravings and charge add-ons turns him into a completely different killer. Curving without add-ons is really hard to do well so don't worry if you're not able to get it consistently, it can take a lot of practice, and sometimes just plain luck that the survivor is in the right place.

See That's the issue I first don't even know what the bug is and if it was before sensitivity changes I was good with him then, but with higher sensitivity the game is better I got juked bad but I am used to it but curving is hard now because I have to be REALLY Careful or I turn 180 degrees and Tbh loops are so hard with billy even insta saw is weak unless youre lucky enough with a back rev before they hit a window or pallet. All my games is window and loop after loop

  • @Huff said:

You're completely spot on with your post. I agree with you Nurse is probably still the best and probably will remain the best until her power gets completely reworked. I think there simply just isn't going to be something stronger than teleporting through walls unless they make just an utterly ridiculous and overloaded killer.

Most people don't think she's good either because of the bugs, or because they think she's too hard. The bugs I can understand, but still, she's deadly.

    Thank you!

IMO she is B tier now I’m not a pc player where she is actually better I play console where tbh she isn’t that great mostly due to bugs so maybe she is still higher there but overall looking at videos of the average player the stats are bad on all consoles and she doesn’t seem to have that great map and gen pressure she once had I play at rank 1 and I’m not the best nurse but I’m average and a lot of times she just feels slow and buggy so yeah from a consistency point of view I don’t see her being good finding just a really great nurse is at this point a needle in a haystack so that is why she is B tier to me

You are entitled to your opinion but just remember its not about the rarity of a good nurse

I played nurse after a long while in order to get my adept on her and I was surprised to see that she was not all that different from the nurse I knew from before the nerf, sure, the timer ######### a lot with my muscle memory and was unbelivably annoying, but besides that she is still a pretty damn solid killer.

Her new add-ons are fun, the new omega blink is better than the old one in my opinion, the tooth is also pretty good.

Also, at least in my experience, she is not as bug ridden as many people insist, I barely encountered any dead zones. Maybe it is because I have not played on the newer maps, but still. Oh, and they fixed that bugged blinked animation.

Same here my bugs are rare and its usually like not going through walls when I had the full charge or my hits that normally land dont land anymore

  • @Throwaway123 said:

Honestly I think she's still S-tier, but I can 100% understand why people wouldn't put her there. The plethora of bugs that plague her really make it much harder to play her. Along with more indoor maps coming out (boy I sure to love aiming straight or even up and teleporting through the floor, or sometimes not being allowed to teleport upstairs because ######### me) and she starts to feel a lot worse than she should.

Her power's base strength keeps her high tier, but the bugs just weigh her down so much and BHVR won't fix them because they will do at most the bare minimum for the Killer side of things.

Honestly its not that its the fact everyone HATES nurse so many people will call her bad but if they said hey what if we five her one blink only those same people would be like yeah she is too strong and also yeah game is probably her best indoor map and midwich because the floors are right above so blinking would be easier but id say game is great for nurse but only if you are a smart killer and a good nurse

  • @Mew said:

if we’re going off of raw potential then yeah, nurse would definitely be the best killer in the game

but, this game is casual. A majority of the playerbase cant play Nurse to her highest potential because they dont play this game enough to learn everything about her power, thats why shes low on a lot of peoples personal tier lists

besides, tier lists are opinionated, anyway. does it really matter that some random person put Nurse in F tier?

See when I think of tier lists id rather have truth I mean yeah in general tier lists are opinionated but there are also indisputable facts like spirit is good but I SUCK with her and I would rank her low but for me I have to look at things logically it kind of sucks because it makes everyone argue with me

That's the thing. I don't see he best nurses out there. I rarely see a nurse and when i do it's a completle stompfest cause they can't play her. I'm not much of a streamer watching guy but i din't remember them playing nurse that much either

Spirit is top tier and you see her all the time. Same as Billy. You never see nurses anymore.

Note I'm not saying she's weak but even when masteres people highly overexaggerate her power. She still moves at snail pase when moving between generators and if you use your power for mobility you are stuck with nothing for a short time.

I'm sorry but the S-tier nurse seem to be a legendary mithical creature killer mains tell their children about who will one day return and vanquish the evil swf

See That's your issue you have no clue or understanding of how good she is I've seen good nurse and ive been wrecked by good nurses its something rare but she isnt over exaggerate and you can ask anyone on the forums

If we are talking about raw power its bubba or oni sense they are the only killers with AoE instant downs and thus are the only ones who can instantly down all 4 survivors.

Most tier lists have to add in how realistically they can be played at whatever tier they are placed sense in hypothetical best case scenarios rarely reflect reality.

If that were the case freddy would be S tier

Normally I'd agree but the nurse is such an extreme example its almost(if not outright) frivolous to mention it sense virtually no one will ever reach that potential(Sub 1% of all nurse players).

Whats the point in ranking her about a potential that can never truly be reached by even most pros?

Its not pointless because tier lists are not for what killer many people can play that's like saying the tsar bomba wasnt the strongest bomb because we only had 2 ever made just because something is rare or hard doesn't mean they can't be called good like trapper is a good killer but most people can't use his traps right or use very obvious traps but we don't see him in F tier or really high up a tier list is based on potential and results of how the killer performs at high levels not at what frequency or how many players perform

Nurse is S tier in theory alone

The S-tier god nurses that predict every mindgame and hit every blink don't exist

That said tier list are based on theory alone so it's no wonder she's always on top

On a realistic note though she's more of a low A high B tier

You do realize they don't go based off of something unreal that's like saying clown is A tier because he olays perfectly no this is about the people who play to the best of her capabilities and if you see the best nurses out there you can actually see her skill shine and when you actually care to notice that no tier list isn't talking about a perfect killer when we say god tier we mean that they are some of the best out there

Dedicated servers and bugs really hold her back. There's no consistency to her power usage. I can beat 99% of teams at rank 1 without add ons, but it's still not uncommon to have a sequence like: dead blink around tires, blink, aim dress to window frame, cooldown, blink, blink, aim dress to window frame, lose chase.

Agree her lunge I believe is bugged some hits feel shorter than others or just dont land like they did the game before

Tru3talent recently made videos on how Bubba is underrated and now people of course are saying the same because their favourite streamer said so, so now everyone puts Bubba on higher Tier without any clue how to play him probably.

I tried "his" playstyle as well and of course it works. Brute forcing pallets with Nemesis and Play with your Food. He isn't the first one who plays like this. But people are thinking he created this playstyle and now they say that Bubba is good.

He never was bad, rather falsely played.

Yeah bubba isn't the best but he isnt easy he needs skill and a good build and that build can work or fail it depends on the survs and killer but he is very add-on and perk reliant

Can you post a video where u dominate a good red rank team while playing nurse?

Hahaha no I have never once stated I was a good nurse and just because I suck at spirit does that mean she isn't one of the best killers in the game? Just because 360 barely work against smart killers does that mean I don't know how to 360? No your remark is so stupid I dont know why you bothered if you really want proof of that look at a streamer called turjay he got wrecked by a swf because he played dumb and he is on ps4 they talked trash on his twitch and said he could get anyone to play them and so he went on Twitter for help and a nurse callrd superalf who is deemed best nurse on ps4 wrecked them all easily without perks and if you think that means nothing you have no need to comment dumb remarks

I think you can make an argument for spirit over nurse since the rework nurse not. Where her best addons almost make her pre-nerf base nurse.

That said, the best nurse player > the best spirit player

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1388864#Comment_1388864

Los blockers are bad for every killer mate. This isn't a nurse only issue. And a great nurse will blink in ways it speeds her chase up, either by guessing or predicting, or by teleporting to the corner and going from there.

Yeah spirit is almost as good as pre nerf nurse and even with the nerf nurse is just harder to use but only slightly worse

  • @Warcrafter4 said:

I consider the nurse to be easily D tier simply because she is nearly impossible for anyone to use and if we are taking the AVERAGE of each killer into consideration she is by far the worst average performing killer in the entire game.

There is no real point in talking about max power "Ifs" with her when being Olympic gold medalists is more common then finding a nurse who can fully use her.

Tier lists are supposed to be who is the best not performs the best if that was the case freddy would be the best killer

This game has many tiles that are full of walls and LOS breaks. Just because pallets and windows aren't good against her doesn't mean 1.) they can't be used against her, they can but it's much harder and 2.) her equivalent of windows and pallets is LOS breaks and stealth.

People act like pallets and windows are the only thing survivors have in the game and conveniently ignore everything else when discussing Nurse.

You obviously never played against a good nurse who I also a good killer I was WRECKED on the GAME by the best nurse ive ever played and he knew where everyone was his predictions as a killer were accurate and he was rusty and the next time when I was better at survivor I got him and the same map and barely escaped through hatch if you go up against the top tier nurse you can barely use LOS blockers because any good killer can read patterns and adapt

  • @coppersly said:

If she was bug free, she might deserve the S spot even with garbage rework and addons she now has.

If she was bug free AND rework free she would be S tier along with Spirit/Freddy.

But she's neither bug free nor rework free so she is definitely A tier. Her power is still incredibly strong but it's plagued by bugs and a timer without addons so she's fallen from her spot she held for years. Even if you're good you can still get ######### over randomly by bugs or deadzones so your consistency is largely out of your control after you've learned the basics.

Understandable about bugs but deadzones thats where she shines even better unless you mean something else and even freddy and spirit can get screwed over no killer is op and freddy is not even s tier

  • @OBX said:

Nurse is a tough one. On paper her power is far and away the best, a tier all to itself. In practice however, there is just a small percentage of players who can play her to her full potential with the plethora of bugs. I fully understand why folks put her lower on the list. It’s very unfair to compare the 99% of players to the 1% who play this game as a career. If nurse can’t effectively be played by the vast majority of killers, then she deserves to be lower on tier lists. Just my honest opinion.

Understandable but in reality tier lists are supposed to take account being played to the best of the killers extent if you know what I mean

  • Honestly I can agree with you in so many other characters as well but in the end its all style. And certain people hate those stereotypes, anyways as long as dbd doesn't pander to the community by making Dwight and David gay for each other or be a and huntress ill be fine because those are fanfics and if you change sexuality of a character or make one so let based on your audience then its just pandering if they made jake park gay and it was their choice then 100 percent back them

Prior to recently, we didnt know they were straight. Except Ace, Ace is obviously gay imo. But other than that theres no way of knowing. Why is that a problem?

This is funny because everyone who thinks these characters are gay are causing stereotypes that everyone hate😂 why do you think ace is gay?
