    This is an asymmetrical game.

One side has the numbers, the other side has the powers.

Yeah ik im just trying to point out some stupidity in the decision making by trying to put forth an idea of turning the tables to get some people to understand the implications

  • I'm a surv main for the most part and I hate keys they are no skill

Booo hoo my key has died to franklins but I've looped the killer for 90 seconds

And my teamates did 3 gens how will I ever escape

    I wonder

    Who cares about keys😂😂

Yes they do. Billy was a perfectly balanced killer and is getting a huge nerf and limiting factor slapped on him under the guise of "extra counterplay".

Decisive is a clearly busted perk that can be used in very stupid ways that requires less than half a brain cell on the survivors part but punishes the killer with no counterplay that doesn't end in a negative for him. Problem is that survivors claim that it's perfectly fine and not that good, even though the entirety of red ranks use it in 100% of matches. So since 1 perfectly fine killer is getting gutted with "counterplay" then it's only fair that a perfectly "fine" survivor perk gets slapped with the counterplay it deserves.

Ds is not 100 percent used dont use false statistics. Second it has counterplay, slugging. Simple they cant so anything while slugged and if they got unbreakable so what they just wasted it and yeah I do agree ds needs a change to be situational like once exit gates are powered it should be deactivated depending on the amount of survivors because if you need to guarantee that second kill you should but guaranteeing 3 or 4 no thats entitled survs abuse ds like getting inna chase then jumping into a locker which I've done but only be cause I was tunneled for looping the killer and he didn't want me to live

  • @KingFrost said:

Set your item down, or don't bring it into the match. Pretty simple, really. Or go back for it.

I do think maybe the entity consumption timer should pause if the survivor who dropped it is in the dying state or hooked.

see lots of people take this crap too literally my whole point is a survivor will lose their item if they loop the killer after a hit. Which forces them to go down just to get it then put it down and you can't know he has Franklin's my whole point is that an item is like a power for survs or maybe its something they took really long to find and need it for a challenge you never know but now the killer eithet plays like a dick or he isnt good at chases and you lose the item

The fact that survivors have teammates and can search for items in chest and use perks in order to get good items and add-ons. How is it not fair? Entiteled survivor main or what? Its annoying but you dont need an item to win a match.

Nice im entitled for being upset that the killer has the ability to MAKE EVERY SINGLE ######### ITEM DISAPPEAR

  • @Callmehandsome said:

You sound like a player who runs after the killer with flashlight clicking and refuses to touch any of the generators. When your time comes to shine and blind the killer for flashlight save.. you mess up the timing. Eventually all of us survivors die

Haha ok buddy whatever you say

  • @MyWorldHasCome said:

As a main survivor here i can tell you this is not needed. Most of the killers powers can be evaded by being a bit better than him. There's no power that makes him "impossible to beat".

    • Trapper: Be careful where you step.
    • Wraith: He's not completly invisible and, also, he needs a second to turn visible so you can just run away.
    • Hillbilly: (Actual one) Just try short loops and do not run in front line.
    • Michael Myers: Try to run using obstacles to him not being able to stalk you.
    • Hag: Just do a reverse move when a jump sign goes up. She will usually hit whenever she TP so she will attack to the air.
    • Doctor: He usually blocks small loops, so don't try to loop him in the same spot for a long period of time and move yourself. Use mainly windows since yeah, you can recieve a hit too, but if he can't hit you, a window is more than a not dropped pallet can do for you to win time between both of you.
    • Huntress: Predice his hatchets, don't fall for the classic "gonna drop the pallet" since she will use that time to hit you.
    • Cannibal: (Actual one) Same as Hillbilly, loop in short loops and don't get in his melee range for too long. If you're in his melee range, search a window assap (i prefer the window since the pallet can be destroyed and the finishing animation will last not too much).
    • Freddy (Nightmare): As every M1 killer, just loop as much as you can. He can place dream traps or dream pallets so don't trust too much in infinites and/or strange pallets (for example a place with 3 pallets each 5m).
    • Pig: Be careful and loop as much as you can. Since this is one of the stealthy killers this game has, try to repair in a general POV generators to make sure you can see as much as possible to your behind. If there's no survivor being in persecution, maybe you need to hide a bit.
    • Clown: Use big spaces to make him fail his bottles. This can be a bit harder to deal with since with some addons, the bottles goes from an annoyance to a real deal with the slow. A good clown will throw preventive bottles to spots he doesn't want you to come and/or loop to move to his favourite location.
    • Spirit: Play with his scratches and pain moanings. She will use his sound to find you when the power goes on so you must try to use windows and make her unable to think where are you in the two locations. Since its pretty impossible to calculate the time (she can cancel it, seveal addons can get up/down his power timer), its more a resistance battle than a real fight. Im not very good dealing with this specific killer, i hope someone can give to you better advices!
    • Legion: Depends if he's a good or bad legion. A good legion will make you uneasy for the disturbance with the power. A bad legion (or a good one that didn't found anyone more with his power on after hitting you) will follow you aswell with the power and end it to hit you a second time. For this i love to just wait until he/she stops his/her power in a pallet. Not for stunning, but mostly of time, he/she thinks that you'll stun him/her so will wait a second while the power is being stopped. That'll grant you some precious time. Of course you can run with him/her behind, but since he/she runs as fast as you, there's no deal with the running unless you can lose him in a good loop.
    • Plague: Don't heal and, if possible, use the Iron Will perk. Won't stop the vomiting sound but the pain ones so, atleast a bit of silence.
    • Ghost Face: This is harder to explain to be honest. He's stealthy as hell so im not very good dealing with him. I just try to repair the generators that are in enclosed spaces. If that's not possible, just repair looking at the players online to see if you got marked. If you got it, run like hell and don't look back, my dear friend.
    • Demogorgon: Just don't let him be in chase with you in a lineal spaces like the Hopkins map halldoors. If you can avoid that, just a basic M1 killer then. Try to remove the portals that are in important spots such as generators. Since its a time you waste, you may not want to lose the time to do that. You can too, it's cool, but you must see either the portal to see if he's coming.
    • Oni: This is one of those characters that i never got the opportunity to play very well. He's a complete killer with a nice set of abilities. Since he can turn around, maybe when in power you should loop short spaces if he's following you with the Rage on. I don't really know how the real hitbox of the hit is with the rage, but i feel is pretty high so maybe a short loops can help to you. Im not very good dealing with this specific killer, i hope someone can give to you better advices!
    • Deathslinger: This may make some people annoyed but when im dealing with a Deathslinger, i usually throw preventive pallets. Since his power cannot hit you through pallets, its a very good way to escape. Of course, i only do it when i got grabbed one time so i know the next one is a down for me.
    • Pyramidhead: I didn't played a lot versus him... I feel like the traditional looping system doesn't work well since he can just use his power. Maybe some feints about where are you going to run can help when in a pallet.

Of course, i only have 450h so i can't know exactly how to play this game like people with 1k hours can. This is my humble opinion and any constructive comments are more than welcome. You can differ and you must! everyone plays different, everyone got different tactics, those are mines and, they're not the best, but kinda work for me...

    Hope it worked!

It was a bait and to use as an example plus ik that powers are counterablr.im.just making a statement

The reason they are "nitpicking" is because each of your post is a headache inducing unreadable mess.

Trust me pressing the enter key a couple of times will let you be taken a lot more seriously.

As for the topic at hand, Items are not a rarity at all. You can gain a new one every match and every bloodpool there are items as well. If you fear about losing them that much then just leave them at the campfire

As a comparison Killers lose their hard worked for addons every match. No matter how well they do. How is that fair in your eyes?

    They have a power

  • @TunnelVision said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1422973#Comment_1422973

Just as fair as killers being forced to play against SWF.

I also don't understand your argument about looping? So you're saying you can loop a killer for however long, but you can't juke?

First swf sucks I 100 percent agree also hiking at red ranks😂😂 you think that crap keeps you alive forever? 360 so easy to counter the only times im 360 is when I dont care or have lower sensitivity and don't turn all the way because I thought is be faster and the swerv juke is literally the best but a basic m1 gets rid of it or less ambitious swings so yeah I can juke and I only try it in deadzones for THAT reason they are easy to counter by any killer who isn't dumb and is used to their sensitivity just because streamers post that crap doesnt mean thats how it works

  • I dont care this isn't school its so funny how there is always the one shallow person who has to nitpick dude just shut up seriously no one else felt the need to comment so you dont need to either

Try opening more than one chest. Not every chest is high rarity but over several chests you will approach the expected outcome.

Most plunderer instincts items will be purple. The odds are in your favor.

If you suspect a bug then properly document your attempts for mathematical anomalies.

Well I get other items I just mean flashlights

If your trying to shake off the Killer in an extended chase then Poised can help a lot.

Sooner or later a gen will pop and that's your chance to secure your escape. Then you just double back for your item, go back into hiding and move on.

Ahh well that makes sense but doesnt it only work with working on it yourself

  • @BigBrainMegMain said:

    This is actually laughable.

  • @Volfawott said:

Break the chase instead of unnecessary extending it.

If you want your item back then try to lose the killer so you can get it instead running them around forever.

If you try and lose a killer who knows what you're doing you'll most likely get hit for outpositioning yourself to try and do something that rarely works

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1423044#Comment_1423044

If you do good then you will successfully escape the trial anyways.

If you do REALLY good then you can successfully lose the Killer and get your item back.

If you do REALLY REALLY good then you can avoid getting hit in the first place.

And most importantly, if you don't do good then you die and still don't get your item. So you aren't being punished for doing good because doing bad isn't a better alternative even with this perk in play, and doing even better than is typical can allow you to deal with the perk.

Well punished in terms of item I guess and any killer with a brain will find a survivor I dont know how locker with quick and quiet amd just hiding at a jungle gym works tbh

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1423053#Comment_1423053

Trust me, try using plunderers every once in awhile.

It gives you a 31% chance of finding a purple item and a 15% chance of finding a red item.

Since there are only 5 purple items and only 2 red items, that gives very high odds of finding any particular item in those higher rarities. Especially if you open more than one chest.

I've gotten lots of cool stuff when I do this myself, and you just focus on Surviving then it's not too hard to get out with the item.

Yeah I get ya but my luck I only fimd yellow flashlights with plunderers like im not lying I RARELY find anything better than that

I take it you've never played killer before? let alone at rank 1.

I played a lot actually and I could get to rank 1 but it gets stressful and annoying to have to play strong killers or get wrecked so I played huntress and well depips are frequent but either way rank 1 or rank 4 dont matter its just time you are at red ranks which is a mix of skills you can go a game without your ability amd win and lose the other time if you are really good you can win depending in certain factors and my whole statement was a bait please read my previous comments to understand that

If you only use flashlights and other items rarely, then surely you, yourself, will hardly feel the effects of Franklin's in general? I mean it's effect will be basically the same, except if you do pick it up again, it won't have lost any of it's use and it will leave the field 10 seconds longer than it takes to do a gen.

Anyway, if you get bad RNG, that's the fault of the game. If you can't loop, that is on you. Neither of those situations are at the fault of franklin's, and it would be the exact same situation, if-not worse, if it were to happen with the perk as it is now.

If the killer wishes to camp around a single item, then you have 90 seconds of gen and heal time. If he leaves the item, you have a chance to gain it back and it won't have lost any of it's power like it would have with the current franklin's and if you can't pick it up within 90 seconds, then chances are you would have lost it anyway as well.

The change is hardly a change at all, if anything it's a nerf when you think about it logically. But I digress, I merely stated an option to be able to keep an item if you're that desperate for it. As I said, treat it as the killer wasting a perk slot. One less meta perk for them and they are basically forced to use a basic attack for it as well.

dumb I agree to a point but if you do good and lose something for it even though its a good trade off for finishing the game its annoying and unfair

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1422973#Comment_1422973

So are we at least past you saying it a balance issue and that it's instead a progression issue? Because balance only exists in the scope of a trial, and in the scope of a trial escaping with an item does nothing and white wards are useless. Progression exists between trials however.

Ok great. So first of all, I personally disagree with the nature of items and addons being consumables in the first place. It would be much better it they were just balanced in the first place and expected to always be used. But that's a thread for another day (which I have already made btw).

In the meantime, I'd like to point out that you can use chests, either to recuperate lost items in a match or more practically, to gain new items in trials where you didn't bring one. Possibly using chest perks occasionally.

It would be nice if chests were buffed. But they are still usable in their current state and result in gaining items at an acceleratorated rate.

Each trial can only make you lose one item at most, but each trial gives you the BP to buy several items and the ability to gain items outside of the blood web. With aces perk you can even grind addons like this.

Now I'm not going to expect you to run chest perks EVERY game. But running it on occasion can ensure you don't find yourself running out when you inevitably start to lose them.

This is how I use the perk pharmacy and is why I bothered to tech the perk in the first place.

This is similar to the reasoning behind running WGLF. You aren't bringing the perks to optimize Survival odds, but just to assist with the grind.

You can also do this with your normal perks too if you like of course if you don't need the items to be high tier and don't need addons.

In any case though. From a balance perspective trading 90 seconds of time for an item is easily worth it. I'd never try and force a chase to last that long just to deny an item, that's just not worth it. Instead I'd just hook you and if you go back to it later I'd know and can go back to come and chase you again, or if I really want to remove the item (maybe it's a key or something) I'd just intercept you on your way back to the item after you're unhooked.

Well I mean its understandable but my point is only that certain items are hard to get or are needed for a challenge or a build idea and yeah I'd rather live than die for an item or whatever but my whole point is if you do good you lose an item which is dumb like thats the most annoying thing and I mean yeah not too big of a deal but when the item is hard to find without spending a million points you gotta see why its dumb

  • @Yamaoka said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/1422975#Comment_1422975

Actually a 90 second chase equals 0-1 generators - at least in solo q.

I could even upload a 4 minute chase of mine on rank 1 where 0 gens popped. One more reason to play killer.

As for Franklin's I personally don't care about the perk. I never bring items as playing solo q is suicide and thus a waste of an item anyways. It probably is annoying to lose a decent item but on the other hand most survivor items are useless anyways (except for keys, bottled time, brand new part and passive instaheal) so not too much of a bummer afterall unless you only bring the strongest items.

I just think that its dumb that if you do good you lose an item which no one is a dressing instead they are focusing on all my bait comments

  • @Flyguy115 said:

You dont need an item to successfully escape , whereas the killer needs their power to get kills.

Also 90 seconds isnt that impressive.

Dude you dont NEED your power second it was an example as to how a 90 second limit is too little because 90 seconds are easy especially to people as good as him

  • @Victor_hensley said:

You're just butthurt that you actually have to do things yourself, instead of your teammates doing everything for you, and you refuse to learn.

(I saw your post on Franklins Demise too, you have to learn sometimes friend)

What I play solo like 99 percent of the time he was an example other than that my team can't help against this

  • @Schlute6969 said:

You’re joking right you can pick up items in chests it is not that big of a deal. How are you calling for a nerf although the ptb isn’t out yet so it’s not even officially out like this and hasn’t been tested. The same tactics can be used for franklins as it is now by finding a place to hide your item.

Getting an item back midchase is a death sentence without pallets or dead hard and when you get hit again you have to get unhooked and go back then get healed or be healed first whatever you decide when someone could have taken it but if not yeah hide it but if you die eaely because you greeded for it you lose a hook state for no reason and may or may not escape

  • @Seanzu said:

An Item like Flashlights/Keys/Maps/Medkits & Toolboxes are not needed at all, compared to a killers power, they aren't comparable.

preaching about something that doesn't really matter because all that was just examples and sarcasm to see thw bigger picture the new Franklin's basically means killer has 80 percent chance to cause the surv to lose the item even if it isnt necessary but a flash save can change a game so can a toolbox speed or a quick sabo yeah maybe not all the time but when I have to spend a million bp just to find 5 purple flashlights or less ill be a bit mad when I lose one for doing good

  • @AlbinoViera said:

Ah, I know iAzame. Played a few KYF games with him. Has a habit of DC'ing when he gets caught though. Tell him Sakana says hi.

As for the change to Franklins? It's fine, if you can't loop without an Item then that's on you. Besides, you get countless items from the bloodweb, and you get more from chests. Hell, if it really bothers you. You can drop it yourself once you've used it all, or just leave it so you can pick it up later in the match. You won't have to worry about franklin's then.

Just treat it as the killer wasting a perk-slot, the same with Lightborn. They're wasting a perk slot to counter your items, meaning they have one less slot for any of the meta perks that could be even more damaging.

No I don't NEED them but i only like flash lights and I only run them in a swf and its rarely unless im using builds or doing challenges and my whole point on this is that you will lose it regardless unless you drop it next time you get it back and unless you get bad rng or cant loop you have to find out for yourself that its Franklin's and die get unhooked run ovwe there pick it up. And hide it which youve given a hook state to do so if you don't escape you lose it anyways the new changes almost guarantees a surv loses his item which isnt fair its like 80 percent likely

  • That's 2 or 3 GENS second it means you lose the item and my friend can easily go longer it was just a example and even I have done 3 minute chases

  • @NuclearBurrito said:

Simple. The Survivors items aren't actually the equivalent of Killer powers.

Rather, basekit Survivors are just significantly stronger than a powerless 115% 32 meter TR Killer, and the powers are making up the difference.

Because of this distinction, addons and items both cannot have too large of an impact or else the inconsistent power levels becomes a problem. We've seen that with insta-blind, old BNP and we still see it with iridescent hatchet, keys and Moris.

So when the Killer removes your item, he's removing a piece of extra power that is balanced within a fairly small margin. But if hypothetically you removed the Killers power, the amount of power the Killer loses is significantly greater by a large margin, since Killers often entirely rely on their power to get downs and maintain pressure.

Like ok, so you're being looped by the Killer and he hits you and you've lost what exactly?

A few seconds saved on gens later?

    A slight tracking inhibitor?

    Limited use self care?

    A ######### map?

Other than keys, items aren't usually a game changer outside of very specific scenarios (flashlight saves, sabo saves, medkit self heals and how do maps help again? Something about totems?).

Compare that to the impact a Killers power can have and it's no contest. Even after accounting for the Numbers difference. Survivors can beat a competent Killer with no items but Killers cannot beat a competent Survivors team with no power.

Plus you can just go back and pick it up. Yes it's on a timer now. But it's hardly impossible to find it again within 90 seconds.

Ok understandable my whole comment is a bait to have people understand and even though you don't need items trust me I never run them except for challenges but what I do know is sometimes I do builds and even if losing my item won't affect me as much as a killer would be affected by loss of power I STILL EARNED THE ITEM and its unfair that I have to slap on a white ward every game and pick my item.up and go into a locker and kill myself on hook or be forced to grind the levels. Because thats what it is there is no way that you would run the new Franklin's and give up on a chase before the time is out and if they pick it up you get free kills and they lose it anyways there is almost NO counterplay except be in a swf

  • @bingbongboi90 said:

So if you are so good at looping then why dont you comeback to pick your item back up during a chase?

O no that's right you are not good enough to do that.

Yes so let me get this straight right? In injured and I do some good loops amd I come back and pick it up then get smacked unless I have good rng or dead hard ok and then I get unhooked and pick it up. Makes sense but you can't consistently have safety to do that mid chase all youre doing is sacrificing yourself to keep the item when youre going to die regardless because you're sacrificing yourself and I can 100 percent say killers rarely stop committing to chases and if they DO run Franklin's they will commit until the item is gone just to be a jerk so no its either ######### and lose it or lose it

Is if it gets to the point where its uncounterable and just everyone doing it and its ruininf the game ruin it back but if its light and not game changing ignore it

Really? Thats funny killers and survs lose add-ons but not we get to lose our item mid game for doing good? Ok. Or even better killera don't lose their power by a perk of ours! So why should we lose an item especially if ITEMS WERE REWORKED TO NEVER BE LOST UNLESS YOU DIE?!

  • @Huff said:

I'm not understanding how that's "too much" though.

Items aren't a necessity. They're like little boosts. IDK maybe it's just because I like challenging myself, but I feel like bringing an item is like a crutch. I know that word gets tossed around a lot but set that aside for a second. I feel like while items obviously are helpful, they're not absolutely vital. A lot of people don't run items and still escape and I just feel like if somebody is relying on items to get out every game, they probably aren't that good of a player. Same thing with people who just run around spamming ebony mori and iridescent addons -- it's just for the sake of things being easy. If somebody can take that item and delete it (especially on a 90 second timer) I don't see what's so bad about that, especially because as I said, items aren't a necessity.

You do realize items are in the game for a reason and first if you chase a good killer you're guaranteed to get hit but what if you loop him all game?! Ive done that while injured and to think I get. punished for not killing myself is ######### and if this is the new Franklin's then we need a perk to delete killer add ons mid game if we escape a chase then or something because I have NOT stocked up SO MANY ITEMS TO LOSE THEM TO BAD KILLERS

The change is good because it's going to discourage tunneling. For example if a killer knows you have a key they're going to make sure you die so you can't pick it up. If they know the item is gone that's one less incentive to tunnel. Overall a good change and the perk will still be a gimmick perk.

That's so stupid if they know it will disappear they will make sure you dont get it

Going in thinking you're going to lose isn't the best. You should probably go in and think, "I'm going have some fun and get some practice, I don't really care what happens." The "oh well" part is great and all, but if you are actually getting upset when you lose, I don't think you're really in that mindset.

What worked for me when I was learning her was not really caring about the outcome and instead focusing on how much I was improving. Everyone's bad at her when they start. The people you see doing really well with her consistently have played her for hundreds if not thousands of hours, and even they have bad matches sometimes. Going in expecting to be like that is setting yourself up for disappointment. Instead, focus on what you messed up last time, and try to do it better next match. That way you've got a small victory that you can celebrate every time, even if you lose.

I meant I care when I go full out tryhard trying to win I go in trying to get better with hatchets not to win because I find practice mor important than winning you know

If you have a target in a jungle gym, thats not something your going to be able to hit.. You cant throw the hatchets up enough to have em pass over the wall but still hit a target down below. Waist high wreckage and cars are one thing, but junglegym walls are another.

Are you sure because I was pretty sure you could hit people on generators im a jungle gym

Yes and that is what you need to learn. You Will get the feeling of the angles with time.

How much time I havent had consistent practice and I maybe have 20 hours in total with her max and 10 minimum

Its Impossible to teach you how to "curve" your hatchets because its goes different for each person. You will need to learn by yourself, so keep trying.

Well I mean if you throw a hatchet straight at max charge you cant hit an OoO user unless you aim up so that's what id like to know like the distances which would help with angles

still, unless I have LOS I dont typically yeet hatchets. Its too easy for them to snag on the hitboxes of branches and such.

Yeah but I want to be able to arc into jungle gyms to hit people after bbq and if I don't practice that then the only crossmaps I can get are in open areas which are no fun

You can watch some guides. Also flick is more to experienced Huntress, so you could play more safe and aim carefully to practice more your aim.

Scott made this guide a while ago and its very informative: https://youtu.be/IQRDijaX5Io

I watched but its not exolaining angles and yeah ive done 2 hatchet flicks in a matter of like 5 seconds to down a girl but as quick as my sexy shots came they left

Well playing on console is horrible, with Huntress then it must be a real pain. Its a normal situation that you're into, people don't like lose, we only care about winning.

Well for me, I play for fun, Huntress is fun and satisfying to play, theres no better feeling than landing a hatchet on a guy in the other side of the map(done this yesterday), If I lose, its okay, DBD is pure RNG so most things are out of your control, caring about it will just make it feel angry for no reason.

So just play for fun, if you can't, stop playing or take a break. I have 2k hours in dbd, when I was learning Huntress (I had like 1300 hours), I almost couldn't land shots, but that didnt made me feel bad, it made me feel like "NEXT GAME LETS GO BOY", it was fun, especially when you land good hatchets, made my brain crazy with how much dopamine I got from playing with her.

Fun in DBD is totally subjective, its normal to feel bad sometimes, but if its always like that, you must play other game(play survivor maybe) or like I said take a good break from the game.

I just need help on angles and stuff and hatchet flickbecause god she is easy to juke and I tried 100 sensitivity but suffered

  • @Kees_T said:

Its like magic, if you tell yourself "I can't do it", then you brain will automatically make so that you really can't, but if you think otherwise with "I can do it", it will do its best to achieve its task.

So drop your current mindset and just say "I'll do my best". Don't make a match easier for survivors, the more they fear you, the better.

Be more confident with yourself. Learning Huntress is not hard, just will take some time and effort.

First its not that I can't do it its that ill lose because its true to me losing is black pipping and having to camp for my kills and my mindset is only because I don't want to focus on winning because ill feel bad and give up and she is hard you cant hit every hatchet and I am on console and hatchet flicks are rare for me ducking is a big weakness you cant beat and I try to only do hatchet so yeah she is hard maybe not for you but for a lot of people she is which is why I don't expect to win or ill feel like crap I go in the gamed and I try my damned hardest to get my hatchet and learn my stuff and as my statement was I wanna get good with huntress meaning the hatchet I dont want to win right now ill want to win when I have the abilities to lead to it

  • @calem said:

I am a Huntress main and this is a terrible mindset to have. A good Huntress will absolutely dominate 4 survivors. Going into a game like that already sets you up to lose. She is not a weak killer. She is very strong. Just keep practising and you will get there eventually. She takes some learning unlike some M1 killers.

I mean when I say that I mean my mindset is I dont care about losing because if I do ill give up I mean I 100 percent try my best to hit hatchet and get better but im not going to go all out and try and win because that entails mind games and m1 and everything I dont care for I care about the hatchet and I suck so if I focus on the win ill just feel like crap you feel me

  • No I use nurses and bbq and bitter murmur so I can have info at all times to try and learn the angles

  • @LordGlint said:

When I was goin for my 15+ meter challenge, I kept aiming for long shots since I didnt wanna get unlucky and hit 14.5 meters or something. Wasnt even really too concerned with gens, just with nailing shots. Found out I could hit shots that before I wouldnt have even tried for and ended up puttin fear in the survivors because they knew as long as I had LOS... they were in danger. Feel like this improved my Huntress game overall because after that...I started tryin for those long shots.

Ive been trying to go over jungle gyms and well its hard
