Never gonna let you down.
Never gonna turn around.
-
Here's the strat: Choose a gate. Hide in locker near the gate. Wait for killer to leave and jump out and open the gate. You won good job I am proud of you.Survivors have a good chance.
-
new update: survivors blind the killer by looking at them.
-
The Upside-Down. Is like the problem with Freddy you implement it and it most likely will be terribly underwhelming for everyone.
-
Chest protector build becomes stronger because of Plunderers demise so yes I must protect chest.
-
Never gonna give you up.

1.Almost all of the killers in the game are currently viable.
2.Billy is an overrated killer.
3.I think BHVR does try their hardest to please both sides of the community however hard that is.
4.Minecraft is scarier than DBD
5.NOED is balanced but is a hassle if there are 4 solos because nobody does totems as solo.

Then why did you make this post?
"Look at me! I have nothing to add to this conversation!"
I get called a camper a lot too :-(
Most likely because I actively camp a lot :-)
The lord of camping in a camping post btw what's your steam name if you don't mind me askin I think I've ran into you a couple times lmao.
-
Mainly nea and spirit imo
-
Maybe you should have more awareness of what pallets have been used and where. Ever think that ye might be the problem?
-
Because DCING is an obvious show of dominance against the killer because DC= you escaped duh XD
-
The hatch is there because of trash team mates imo. People always like to bring up how the game is meant to be played without comms so that is more than likely one of the reasons. I could list more but everyone else has already listed those as well.

freddy with sunglasses when?

Against killers with abilities like this those tricks don't even matter, they can hit bt, then again, eat ds, and hit that person again, and it'll not end as a disaster for a killer. Are you sure that 15% speed advantage is enough to not let a bodyblocker to react when you're trying to "curve around"? Especially if they're running to the closest "narrow path". Because they will.
the bodyblocker has a timer m8

@avilmask said:

Wait, bodyblocking was removed from people with BT? Did I miss something? Guy with BT wants you to hit them, wants you to slug them so rescuer can escape, he literally sandbags you on your awy while you're trying to "avoid' him.
Wait your power was removed when someone gets unhooked? Wait there's not a way past the BT user? Depending on your power you can use it to get past the BT user and remember this isn't a narrow hallway you can get past them by going AROUND.
-
@avilmask said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/642427#Comment_642427
So you chose "do nothing". Straight and simple, just follow the guy with BT for 15 seconds. I like it. BTW he has a DS, so why would you?
You could also easily just get past the BT user and to the rescuer as I've already said. And if the BT user had ds you slug them
-
@avilmask said:
https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/642416#Comment_642416
Aaand... do nothing instead, let them line up? That's not for the killer decide, except to wait for a rescuer closer to the hook so you have enough time to make two hits.
You have a couple options based on positioning. If you can make it past the BT user with ease you can easily just get a down. If not wait the 15 seconds out. The survivor will be expecting a hit so they have already lost a few seconds on that time.
-
@avilmask said:

That's why they have DH (DH into dude with BT so killer misses you, goes into recover and gives a boost to rescued guy). Unless rescuer messes up timing. Advanced team strats, looks quite sick.
That's where the killer needs to anticipate what the survivors are doing. Remember that they have dead hard.

It gets harder if dude with BT blocks the way.
You can avoid them and usually you can get the rescuer before the dude with BT is out of animation. It is harder though yes.

@HazeHound said:
@IMhereRUN Guess you haven't play against swf with those perks only so far. If they make it to the end game, they escape for free with those, WHEN PLAYED SMART.
Instead of always going for the unhooked go for the rescuer you'd be surprised how useless BT becomes when you do a trade instead of just trying to get the unhooked.
-
@HazeHound said:
@KillermainBTWm8 no, you are not? It literally takes 5 seconds to google current state of any perk bruh.
Then it wasn't nerfed into the ground unless you think the change that made it so it only worked on Pallet stuns was a huuuge nerf. It is actually quicker now you thinking it is slower is most likely just a placebo effect playing on your mind due to it saying 50% and you thinking it is a nerf.
-
Enduring isn't nerfed to my knowledge? Am I wrong about this? They just made it so you can only get pallet stuns but didn't nerf the time it takes to recover with the perk if I am correct?
-
I can say at least LF and Trapper are viable at red ranks. Very few are actually not viable at red ranks.

11.If you lose it is because survivors are OP.
of course!

probably just gonna be gimmicky perks which is sad.
-
Eh this community is so against VC for some reason that it won't happen :/
-
Remember with new players comes with people saying killers are OP because of inexperience sadly so prepare yer selves.
-
Necromancy engaged.
-
I kind of agree. Would be kinda ######### to buy a new game and be like I can't wait to play it. *looks at killer/survivor roster and sees they need to pay for the majority of it or play for an excessive amount of time* "okay I'm refunding the game thank you"
-
*slowly hides my 256 purple flash lights and 450 insta-heals as well as my 687 ebonies*
-
All the survivor perks are most likely gonna be gimmicks anyways. so I doubt that there will be 6 killer perks.
-
But if you don't lose pips for being camped then how will killers generate their hate mail!?????

I am a survivor main, but the way I see some survivors use the pallet looping against me and against my boyfriend who is a killer main, sometimes it does seem rediculous... but in either case, it doesn't matter, cuz they're redoing all maps, and making all pallet circles smaller so survivors can't do this anymore, it's in the year 4 road map and explanation of it, so all the looping survivors better just get used to another strategy cuz the devs are redoing all maps to prevent this. So there's no need arguing about it really, it's not gonna be around much longer...
Correction: They are making more pallets more mind gameable and if Badham is any clue looping is still very much possible.
Also they take a looong time to rework maps. Map design does need changed though.
-
I can make a video destroying survivors and say this proves that killers are the ultimate power role in the game.

- Just as usual. Call everyone who doesn't Loop all game a "useless Blendette". I loop too as well as Hide, difference is at least I'm aware of how powerful it is and don't try to stubbornly say it's fine and balanced.
- No, Bloodlust does NOT work. By the time you get Bloodlst to help you, you've already lost the chase. you've spent too much time chasing a Survivor. Though i'm sure someone who never plays Killer has no idea about that.
- Sure thing. Always find every excuse in the book as to why you got hit you can. It's never your fault you got smacked.
- You're bias prevents you from seeing it from a mechanical standpoint. If it's an exploit on one side, it's an exploit on the other. It's the same thing. Removing the hook/unhook prompt from play for an advantage. People like you have no objective view, you see it purely form you sides point of view.
- You want to allude to them, but then when proven wrong from a technical stand point "I DIDN'T SAY!" if you're not using the stats, then how do you know? Just going to go on your own bias point of view and say what you believe as fact?
- https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1838552138 This is just one instance. Though go ahead and continue your denial. If I was lying, why did the developers fix it so that Survivors lost their items upon DC? Cause Survivors were abusing it to stockpile items. It was most used in the insta-blind flashlight days to save purple flashlights.
Though keep going, it's fun to watch a bias Survivor Main ignore an objective view to benefit their bias agenda. I have no hate and prejudice, I just call out the bullshit where I see it.
fun fact: most people who call others bias'd are even more bias'd

But you guys gonna leave this right? We love this strategy <3
The devs do the trick as well so I doubt they will remove it. Could be wrong though.

They can smell a single drop of blood from another dimension... Doesn't that scream tracker? Anyways I'd like to see their cross dimension travel ability added make them freddy 1.5
That's why I'm worried.
-
I'm just afraid that they'll make demogorgon a tracking killer which will spell doom for it.

...Maybe it's because No Mither gets rid of your bloodstains the second they hit the ground?
Which means it's an anti-bleeding perk?
Kind of funny, you asking for an anti-bleeding perk and being given an anti-bleeding perk. Almost like...people were answering the question....for some reason... Huh. Weird. 🤔
Except as someone who runs No Mither for 99% of their games you would know it is not a true anti bleeding perk because you can pick yourself up which means slugging shall never come into play. It's useful for other reasons but calling No Mither a anti bleeding perk when it never comes into play properly because of it's other effects is ridiculous
-
For those complaining about looping because of the collision change long ago tell me how it would make sense for a survivor to have the collision the size of one of the tall killers?
-
@brokedownpalace said:
"Oh you want a perk that affects bleeding? Bring this perk that gets you downed in one hit and makes injured music play constantly."
That's basically what four separate people felt the need to say for some reason 😅
Remember? Survivors don't get to have decent perks. How foolish of you to think so.
-
*sounds of deranking survivors in the distance*
-
You all realize the game is RNG dependent on so many ways?
-
Guys you all forgot Nea was a killer!
-
@Raptorrotas said:
I never stated i was a dev nor did I asume or know the devs stated it an "exploit" or not. All I did was stating the fact that looping is, by definition of exploits, an exploit
"In video games, an exploit is the use of a bug or glitches, game system, rates, hit boxes, speed or level design etc. by a player to their advantage in a manner not intended by the game's designers." Incase you or others didnt read my provided link, this is the first sentence of the article.
Now please tell me that looping isnt extending the chase duration by taking advantage of (synonym for "to exploit" btw) the difference in collision sizes around objects.
I am aware wikipedia isnt the most credible of sources to use but the article provided atleast includes the controversy of exploits being good or bad, the reasaon we're even discussing this.
"And while killers can still get looping survivors because theyre faster and have bloodlust, Bloodlust was given to killers because chases were taking too long, probably the reason being looping"
Im not actually too fond of continuing this discussion because it's obvious looping will not be adressed, either because its not an "exploit" or survivormain agenda
Again using your definition you create a situation where anything can be defined as an exploit.
