It didn't have to be -with- spirit fury, you just need to break them by any means with the perk equipped. Kicking, chainsaws, demo shred, hopping over them with iri legion (what I did) etc
Lol, really? I didn't think that. I thought I had to proc spirit fury 4 times.

Break 4 Pallets with Spirit Fury in one match. I knew its gonna take a while, because that's 12 dropped pallets, so I farmed with the survivors. I cannot thank my fellow survovirs enough.

I've an idea.
Maybe we can have events ingame that rewards iridescent shards. For bloodpoints grinding, devs do a double BP event. So maybe for shards grinding, we can have something similar. Or an event like Summer BBQ can reward shards too for completing special event objectives. In this manner, we can make events exciting, as well as, rewarding.

Yeah same. Getting uneven ranked players. But that's not what I'm worried rn, it's getting into a match first. The wait times are so bad that I don't leave the lobby even if the ping is horrible. Dear Bhvr, I just wanna play.

Now it takes a fair bit to load into empty lobbies and slowly trickle into loading up...often Survivors leaving as soon as they notice its only 2/4 for them...usually being 3/4 Survivors. And that's on a fast time...hoping someone doesn't leave before the match starts :/

The fact that this happens around almost every event is just...unnaceptable at this point honestly. Waiting 20 some minutes just for a game on either side, survivor and killer. Its just sad, really
I agree. Balance threads are given more importance than matchmaking related threads.

I feel the frustration. I had to quit after the Plague's release due to horrible wait times. I came back to play over a month ago. Everything was working fine. I was happy with the wait time. Now I bought the Stranger Things chapter & it was still fine. But the last patch just bombed it. Why do you do this BHVR? We want to play the game.

Thanks to everyone who participated in the giveaway.
I, personally, went through all the responses in this thread. It was fun to read everybody's reasons on why they love this amazing game called Dead By Daylight. After reading all the responses, I learnt that there's one thing in common and that is the love for the development team, the game's characters, the friendships people have built and the role of the community in helping eachother that keeps us together despite our differences in opinions. With this, I would like to say that it was really tough to choose from so many responses. It doesn't matter if you win or don't, you're always getting a lot of invaluable experience with this game, and like me, you can always give back to the community in your own unique way.

The new update has broken the game for me. Unable to find matches. Tons of errors including host, match not found, NAT type, stuck on finding match. Even if you manage to get into a lobby, getting into loading crashes the game for someone and the match gets cancelled. It feels like I wasted my 12 euros.

No, licensed characters cannot be bought using shards. The only characters that you can buy with shards are the original ones, created and owned by BHVR.

The new UI looks cool, but it's very laggy & bugged. Loading time feels too much.

PATCH 2.X.Y.NOBODYCARES
Here comes the bug fixes and mini balance update :
Made it impossible for players to join a lobby instantly, who were still able to sneak into a lobby despite 'You're Gonna Wait Forever' being active.
Made it possible to activate the perk 'Infectious Disconnect' even before players got into a match. Now Infectious Disconnect works like Infectious Dodge, if one player dodges the lobby, the remaining players dodge too.
Brought back the OP Clown Belly Jiggle. It now defies the laws of physics.

Been talking to a lot of friends on PS4. They've given up too. It's a serious issue and a majority of the playerbase is affected. If the developers don't take notice of it now, it's not going to go well with the health of the game.

I would love to buy the new chapter and play, like others out there. But the matchmaking in this game is just dead on console. It's very saddening with what's happening. Moreover, no official comment or acknowledgement from the developers make it worse. Thank you, BHVR.
