Skip a killer DLC and fix their game instead.

This guy knows what's good. +1

  • ~looks at Hag~

    ~censorship intensifies~

  • Yeah, through 4 feet of snow! Uphill! Both ways! And ya' had to clean up the map with a toothbrush before it would let ya' log out, and you'ens did it smilin' or the Entity sent you to bed without dinner! Now turn down that damned chase music and Urban Evade the hell offa' my lawn, whippersnappers!

  • 38 quite soon (too soon).

  • At least once per day on both survivor and killer. Some days, I tend to stream them together end-to-end. Derp moments FTW.

  • SuRpRiSe™!

I honestly wouldn't anticipate a PTB hot fix in time. We'll most likely get GF released at the state in which he should've entered the PTB, then get hot fixes over time. Brutal reality, but it is what it is.

  • Killer or survivor, I'm just here for the BP and a little fun.

  • Saw this vid earlier when he posted it and found myself nodding the entire time. It should be a common sense approach... like, this should already be a given. Hopefully the devs take notice and give it ample thought.

  • Dream State is the new Plague sickness and Legion deep wounds. Oh boy. Raise your hand if you have no intention of trying to wake up anymore. #NappinGenRushFTW

Blah blah blah Killers just can't help but feel like victims and blame everything on Survivors having all the power.

And how have you enjoyed playing Ghost Face in the PTB thus far? Do tell.

  • So... you haven't even had the chance to try him out and find out first-hand the truth about how horrifically awful he is in actual play, but you feel that folks who have experienced it need to stop complaining and giving legitimate feedback? During the PTB? I'm honestly confused about the purpose and aim of this thread now.

  • Much, MUCH better than the original release. Much faster-paced than DbD. Quite balanced for an early/fresh release. It's fairly fun, I'll give it that. Very low amount of content to work towards right now, so unless that changes ASAP I see players dropping off like flies shortly after the free weekend expires. There's just not much to work towards as of right now.

I went ahead and just bought it through the Steam bundle alongside the DbD I already owned for $6.99 (+ tax). Disappointed to see the DbD masks one's supposed to get in DG:BH for doing so were nowhere to be found (grrr), but I don't regret the purchase.

If the player base doesn't nose-dive in a month, it feels like a good game to swing over to after a couple of bad back-to-back rounds of DbD Bully Simulator and release some tension.

  • Equal parts excited and terrified at the possibilities, honestly.

  • I hate jumping the gun without any legitimate info on a rework, but previous experience leans towards betting on equally as bad (or, hopefully at least, just slightly better) in a different way. We shall see.

  • Cautiously optimistic, yet still expecting disappointment. BHVR and power bars have been more miss than hit. If they have taken away the majority of (or even entirety of) his being invisible, I sure hope they've found a way to compensate it greatly because that's basically all he had remotely going for him with finding folks and phasing through mind-gaming. Hoping for the best still. Guess we'll know for sure tomorrow.

  • Nerfs will come in time... all in good time. Simma' down now.

    But first...

    Lemme' take a selfie. 🔪📱🤳💀

  • *gets triggered AF... then eats a Snickers*

  • Bah... Auric Cells only. Yet Adam's costs the same amount of Auric Cells, but can be bought for 21,600 shards. Really crappy, BVHR... really crappy. Oh well, whatever. $10 for a single outfit is too rich for my blood, man. Looks awesome, but hard pass for now.

  • Still at work. Is it Auric Cells only, or also purchasable with shards?

  • In order of my personal hopes and wants:

Freddy rework, certain map rework priorities, low- and mid-tier killer power buffs and/or QoL adjustments, certain perk reworks, dedicated server release and/or stricter DC punishment implementation, BP grind rework.

  • Skemoo had the mouth moving in his animation rendering, but sadly no eye movement that I noticed.

Still... the Santa outfit is the only high-priced outfit I've purchased to date. This will be the second because it's friggin' awesome (my luck it will be with Auric Cells only and I'll have to hard pass on it, anyway).

  • Cashier was a potato. That check-out lane is the safest loop in the store.

Seriously, though, that was some gorgeous graphics work. Cashier looked real at first! Excited to see what the Ghost has in store for us.

  • When you promise folks cake but when they get to the party they get Dollar General knock-off animal crackers.

  • um 19: Electric Boogaloo

  • Playing solo survivor DOES suck... but it's not due to killers having an advantage. Far from it. Aside from obvious DCs, the problem is due to incompetent fellow survivors or one's own incompetence. Period. Always has been, likely always will be.

Balance of power is still in the following order: SWF, Solo Survivor, Killer. All a killer can do is seize missed opportunities or capitalize on mistakes made by survivors. SWF always have somebody to lean on in order to bail them out on their mistakes while solo has to hope they didn't get dropped into the middle of a tater garden.

  • Ghostface has some massively bulked-up shoulders in the lobby compared to his in-game character model then. They may wanna' tone down his 'roids a bit there if that is the case.

  • Gawd yes! Please! That feels intense as all get out.

The 2018 mask and that updated soundtrack to match would make him feel pretty much complete (aside from the purveyors of shirtless Myers).

  • Soon™ there will be a SuRpRiSe™. We can roll like this all night, fellers, but that lady has given us all we'll be getting for now I do believe... and that's cool enough for me. Just be thankful there always seems to be something(s) to look forward to.

    Until then, let's just look forward in antici... ... ... ... ... pation©.

  • I for one am thankful us folks who are so ugly our mommas used to bottle feed us from across the room with a Super Soaker are represented equally on the survivor side in this game.

  • SuRpRiSe™

For the record, we're drop-dead serious about that Clown man-kini cosmetic.

"But where's he put the finger collection?" *coughing fit, then... prrrfffftttt*

  • Clown is exactly who I was intending on trying with that very same mindset.

  • Tread lightly. Remember what happened the last time survivors rage quit too much against a certain killer...

  • Add my voice the masses that say he needs a buff/rework. I absolutely love Bubba. His release is the reason I came back after losing interest shortly after the game's initial release... only to get a quick reality check on exactly how weak his saw -- his pride and joy, his everything -- is against semi-intelligent survivors. He was my first, and still favorite, P3 prestige, and I'd like to see him brought up to at least a mid-tier level.

As it is, his gameplay doesn't even fit his lore image from the movies. Think of his initial reveal from behind that sliding metal door with the sledge, the moment he appeared out of nowhere in Franklin's flashlight, his relentless chase scenes. Hoping the devs will take the multitude of suggestions in thread after thread here (and elsewhere) into consideration, because he needs something done. I want to keep faith that Bubba will end up eventually being as menacing and deadly as his original likeness.

  • Some folks are stating they've received e-mails already. Unverified, of course. Reckon we'll just be left in the dark until Saturday. No e-mail by then, guess we can just be more cautious and less overzealous at leaping at the next request.

Side note: Even the worst "freebie" e-zines send out a copy/paste rejection letter when submitting. Kinda' common courtesy at the bare minimum. Just sayin'.

  • Killer is more often than not too frustrating to be worth the effort (unless I'm really hard up for bloodpoints). I only run solo on survivor, so that's usually a toss-up of either a match being so easy it's boring or mercilessly frustrating due to fellow survivors. Not as much fun as I used to have, but may just be time for a little breather. Taking a break every once in a while does tend to help, at least for a bit.

  • You get to choose which side you'd like to represent in the survey form.

  • Solo survivor has been unplayable for a long while now. More often than not, it's due to being an SWF's decoy/farm plant or other solos going full goofball or DC'ing rather than killers tryharding, though. Just my experience.

  • Those bottom floor pallets in the game breed like rabbits, though.

  • Couldn't agree more. Poor Bubba is one of the most add-on reliant killers, and it shows. Big time. Doesn't help that his only cosmetic has him standing out like a sore thumb and you can hear him coming like a freight train. Give his base kit a slight uptick via a small % of those add-on dependent stats and he'd be so much better.

  • Ghost can officially teabag.

IDGAF how his power ends up being... that's my new main, right there.

  • Agreed. I'm just running a RX 560 slightly OC'ed, and up until the Unreal switch I was running smoothly on High settings (even my HD 7850 before that was running Medium easily). After the change to Unreal, I had to drop down to Low, especially with Doc or Freddy.

After this patch, though, I'm getting better framerates on Low, much less framerates on Medium, and Low's general graphics are fuzzy and blurrier than before. Kinda' sucking.

  • The Ghost Perks - Heavy Breathing, Peeping Tom, and Fap.

  • With as fast and furious as the gen rush is right now, who's going to have time to go sneaking around and peering around corners? Going to need a lot more info and seeing this power in action to see time to Exposed status and such before rendering a verdict. Design looks good, though, and -- hey! -- cosmetics already!

  • Only thing I'm looking forward to with this killer is the hilarious videos that are going to come out of him peering in and out repeatedly around the corner of the gate at survivors standing in the exit.

  • Hell naw. Events bring out the nastiest, most volatile gameplay from the cockroaches en masse in general. Seasonal and themed events can be stomached for the spirit of the particular time of year... but tacking on extra BP? That's when the filth boils over the lip in people. There's enough sweat, moris, 4-man SWF squads, loss of offerings to spite DCs, etc. in less than a week during BP events to fill the NYC sewer system (and 10x more toxic than whatever's floating down there already).

Just reduce the BP grind or up BP gain totals in general, eliminate the necessity of "BP events" entirely, and stick to -- even expand on -- seasonal and themed events only, please.

  • It was everything I expected it to be, I'll put it that way.

  • It's even happening after you Bamboozle them. Hoping they sort it out in the mid-chapter patch because it's a helluva' PitA once folks find them.

  • Hag below Clown is good enough for a laugh, but then that moment you reach the "Top 4"...

Regarding Bubba: "With no movement speed penalty for using the chainsaw..." *laughs in movement speed penalty*

  • When the discussion on how to better the Clown turns into a Hag e-peen contest.
