  • Here I thought we were going to see some type of chart or something, but nah, just more bashing players for giving their opinions.

  • Because I ran an “infinite” even though it was only a LT wall. 😂

    Other funny reasons include playing their favorite survivor character 😄

  • I play a split 50/50.

    Sometimes it’s funny because I will be playing solo Q, and we all do well. I switch to killer and get them again, only this time playing against them. 😂

    Another excellent attempt at dodging conversation/dialogue.

    Good job.

    If you're unable to debate or combat my points, just say so.

    There is no need to act juvenile.

    @Raccoon

    You were ignored a while back, it’s not my problem that you don’t agree with what I have to say.

    I didn’t dodge anything, ignoring you isn’t dodging. Just means I don’t have any interest in further discussing with you. I’ll gladly engage with someone else though if I feel they are worth my time.

    No hard feelings.

    I've been maining survivor as of late - there are pictures in my recent post history showing my current survivor and killer ranks.

    @Orion

    Save your keystrokes - Dude's resorting to 'biased killer main' rhetoric now @_@

    @Raccoon

    Unlike you he brings up some good points that add to the conversation.

    So the only resorting i see, is you trying to piggyback off of someone else’s comment in an effort to have a mind of your own.

  • @Orion said:

    I had a comment detailing some drawbacks for those three actions you mentioned, but I lost it after accidentally hitting Refresh. Hopefully someone else can tell you why you're wrong on that front.

    Anyway, I don't think DS deactivating under those conditions is a bad thing. If you're trying to heal, working on gens, or whatever, then either you're not being tunneled (in which case the anti-tunnel perk should not protect you), or you're making a bad/dumb play (in which case the anti-tunnel perk should not protect you).

    Tell me, why would you want to work on a generator or heal yourself if the killer is chasing you? Does that sound like something you should do?

    @Orion

    Im currently at work but you bring up some good points. I’ll explain the context of what I meant when I have a chance to reply properly.

  • @Raccoon

    If I don’t reply it is simply because I have no desire to continue a conversation with players who are obviously biased towards one side that no matter what is said, they can’t even for one second forget which side they main.

    None of what you said in that reply applies to what I was talking about. None.

    We’ve gone from one extreme “abusing DS” to the other “You can’t heal for 1 second or touch a gen for 1 second” or you lose your deactivation timer. It would have been more meaningful if they actually address the core of the problem why this perk was even changed to what it is now.

    Meanwhile, Tunneling Camping and Slugging remain the same. Same a usable actions with no downside whatsoever, but sure let’s keep on adding more conditions to DS. What’s next? Playing a certain character deactivates DS, oh no I got a better one, spawning in the map deactivates DS. Yeah that one ought to do it.

  • "Make me come alive"

    the word come was blocked 😂

  • Us killers that barely got stunned before won't see a difference.

  • Nope it's gonna be Clown, because he is no longer the weakest killer.

    I believe the last remark I had for you was the laugh I got at seeing you resort to "killer main" bs when you couldn't adequately defend your argument. Now here we are full circle with you trotting out the idea of Survivors being such potatoes that they tap gens that have 0 progress. As far as your personal preference on whether or not I comment? Sorry, public forum, that's how it works. But hey, keep bringing out the same tired strawman over and over, it's fun seeing you repeatedly lose the same argument to different people.

    @AsherFrost

    Didn't bother to read.

    1 second not being enough is you opinion and is different from your previous point of it not being progress at all. The survivor doesn't need to know the killers intentions to have DS up. If you, the survivor, want DS up then don't do anything to deactivate it. Otherwise its your fault for giving up your perk because you were greedy. Again, you want 30 seconds of safety don't do anything for 30 seconds. You don't need to know the killers intentions, its your decision. The devs give you 60 seconds with an option to opt out, you took the option, next time don't if it bothers you.

    The conversation/thread isn't whether you can tunnel off more than the first hook or DS being anti-tunnel or not, its about touching a gen and DS turning off because touching a gen is progress. If you want that convo open another thread. For the record, my opinion is sure let it work on both hooks in its current form.

    But progress is progress and as soon as you make any progress you should be fair game. Small or not, it was your decision, not the killers, so you have no one to blame but yourself for your DS being gone in this situation. That small progress could be the difference between the gen being done or it getting hit with Pop. 1 second can/does matter.

    @MrPenguin

    I understand that my "tapping" argument is different from OP's but if you understand that, then you would also understand that tapping a gen for 1 second, while it was sitting at 0% (meaning not one soul worked on it) isn't considered in any way shape or form progression. That is absurd.

    You may want to look at it from the pre-requisite lense of what "deactivates" DS, but facts are facts, I am pretty sure the team would have escaped without that survivor's 1 second touch on that gen.

    If the gen was at 40% (sure) if the gen was at 50% (most definitely) people on here think 0% is actually progressing the objective. Which I just have to laugh at.

  • @BubbaDredge said:

    Survivors: Tunneling is a huuuuuge problem!

    Also Survivors: A perk that only deters tunneling isn't worth bringing! I need to be safe while I play!

    @Warphead

    You can still tunnel a survivor even if they have DS. What is your point?

  • @Marcavecunc said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066467#Comment_2066467

    It does though. Remember old Ruin? The tapping method was a sure way to make generators progress while avoiding skillchecks.

    @Marcavecunc

    Nobody is talking about old Ruin. We are talking about what helps the team with progression to their objective, and a gen sitting at 0% isn't progression.

  • @MrPenguin said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2066360#Comment_2066360

    It is progress though. Even jut touching a gen progresses that gen. It might be a tiny amount but it does. Again, if you're worried about it don't touch the gen. You got 60 seconds, use them to help with tunneling or don't. Its not the perks fault you decided you didn't need it and then got whacked for it. If you decide "well tunneling is within 20 seconds" then don't touch a gen within 20 seconds. Easy.

    Also either both intentions matter or neither does, stop holding double standards.

    It doesn't matter if the killer thought the survivor would keep running because they were tunneled and the interaction would have a different outcome. The survivor can still make progress because that's what their intention was.

    "Tunneling isn’t just waiting for someone to get unhooked to start heading back."

    I never said it was. Don't know why you're bringing this up to me.

    @MrPenguin

    Sorry but touching a gen for 1 second does not progress the objective to warrant a deactivation of DS. If the survivor is oblivious to what the killer's real intentions are, you really think they are going to know that? No.

    I am not saying that at that point the survivor will have to find other means, but I am also pointing out that, in this instance that IS tunneling. The killer specifically went to hunt that survivor down. Thus this is an action that is no longer punishable via the perk. The perk already has problems enough that it isn't a true anti-tunnel perk. For one, it should work on both hooks. Unless of course you think the killer can only tunnel off of hook #1.

    On the last part I never said you said that. I am simply pointing out that tunneling isn't black and white as many seem to think. There is different context in each situation that should have been taken into account when changing the perk.

  • @MrPenguin said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2065353#Comment_2065353

    I mean you worked on the gen, that is progression. It might only be .5%, but that's progression. If you tap a regressing gen to stop regression, you're still contributing to the team by stopping the regression. Also "hiding and getting to a safe spot" is not the same as "getting to a gen and working on it". Since intentions seem to be so important to you, the survivor intended to make progress, therefore DS should deactivate because in your own logic: therefore it is guess what? Still Progress.

    DS is meant to punish tunnelers and farmers, but if you make a mistake as a player that's not on the perk that's on you. If you're so worried about it just don't touch a gen for 60 seconds to protect your DS or until you're sure the killer is off you. 10 seconds not long enough? Ok wait 30 then. When you feel like "ok I'm not tunneled anymore" then work on the gen. Its your decision, you decide whats more important: DS in case of tunnel or progress. They feel like they might be tunneled let them sit around with their DS blanket.

    Tunneling can't be "abused" when its something allowed and intended by the devs. Unless some unintended interactions come from tunneling, like it did with old DS, then its not being abused. I don't even tunnel as killer and I understand that. Just because you don't like it doesn't mean its being abused.

    BTW I play both sides and have actually been playing more survivor lately before I get accused of being a KilLeR mAiN. I haven't run DS in months and if I get tunneled oh well, should have brought DS. Tbf tunneling doesn't really bother me since I have the knowledge of both sides to realize sometimes that its often, if not always, the best thing to do if you want to win. Tunnel kills and tunnel gens.

    I sure as hell tunnel gens when I'm playing survivor, I choose not to tunnel when I play killer because I choose fun over optimal play. I don't expect others to do the same just because I would like them too.

    If I wanted to be 100% fair I would tunnel on both sides or not on both sides. Ideally both sides would spread out their objective time. But from my experience, survivors only want killers to spread out their objective while they slam gens and are quite hypocritical. Since both sides can't agree, everyone just does what they want.

    @MrPenguin

    Intentions are only important because in the event the killer wants to track a survivor after they were unhooked, it doesn’t matter if the survivor thought their unhook would have a different outcome and the killer might have gone for someone else. The killer can still tunnel because that is what their intention was. Hence why the timer is so long on DS, unless you think it’s just a random number the devs chose? My issue isn’t with the survivor progressing the game, my issue is that merely touching it is being considered “progression” which it isn’t. As I’ve said before 0% gen isn’t creating progression for the survivor objective. Even if that is what they intended on doing.

    Tunneling isn’t just waiting for someone to get unhooked to start heading back. There are other scenarios in which I have seen where the killer ignores other survivors because they are looking for that survivor that just got unhooked. That is tunneling, regardless of where you think a survivor might be on an “objective”.

  • I don’t think you have to hate someone to not be a fan of someone, or do I have that wrong?

    I genuinely think he understands a big part of the game, and I don’t agree with everything he says but he is a smart guy.

    if you are pulled off the hook and the killer doesn't come directly back to you but finds you randomly doing a gen means you are being tunneled? good gods man! what the hell is your definition of tunneling?? if the killer comes within 96 meters of you for 1 minute while you do anything after you get off the hook? come on be real. tapping a gen while you're being CHASED is bull crap and you deserve to loose your DS... DS is supposed to deter you from being tunneled or save you if you are downed and picked up again. get real! if you TAP a generator you are FORWARDING the objectives of your side! there is no question there what so ever as you stopped the generator from regressing and thus less time to repair it later. this is the very definition of why they removed the ability to sit on a gen without being touched by the killer.. be glad your locker juke weponization of DS is still a go! IF I were making the change you'd have the maximum amount of time Inner Strength heals you IF you have the perk AND it's activated before DS fades off.

    @Freki

    Not going to bother typing what I have already typed several times. So I am going to re-direct you back to what I said.

    I never used the word “found” as I realize that there are instances where the killer inevitably finds the survivor. At least bother to understand the context of what is being said before you put words in my mouth.

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2065267#Comment_2065267

    Here is what you said:

    "The difference is that the killer’s next move is going to determine whether you can use DS or not. Or should the survivor just wait what 30-50 seconds just to make sure the killer isn’t going to play like scum? No thanks."

    So to you, the difference (and clearly problem given the numerous complaints you have lodged here) is that you now have to pay attention to the killer's next move.

    Go ahead and tunnel. I don't care. It's a valid tactic as per the dev team, so have fun. If you can catch the Survivor 4 times, they deserve the sacrifice. Or, if they are smarter, they'll use their perks, surroundings and teammates to deny the sacrifice. Just that simple.

    @AsherFrost

    And I stand by what I said. Only difference is that unlike you, I understand that if a killer has every intention of TUNNELING, even if the survivor has began to ‘tap’ a gen, the intention is there and therefore it is guess what? Still tunneling.

    So if DS is suppose to punish tunneling, then the timer should not deactivate. Unless the survivor has made progress on their objective which is what has been pivoted as the only pre-requisite for it to work. Hiding and getting to a safe spot and touching a gen at 0% do not count as “progression” to the objective.

    “Go ahead and tunnel” actually it’s more of a joke, but I can see that aside from not sharing the same views we don’t share the same humor. So I’ll leave you with this. You do you and I’ll keep doing me. Cuz at the end of the day we both know that this isn’t the end to this discussion. Tunneling is still being abused till this day, even with DS. So I’ll go ahead and have a conversation with non-biased players who understand both sides. Thanks

  • @AsherFrost said:

    I'm not twisting anything. I can only go by what you type, not whatever thoughts you may have had at the moment.

    I expect smart Survivors to pay attention to their surroundings and yes, pay attention to what the killer is doing, to determine whether or not it is a good idea to do something to remove ds. It'll take more thought now, rather than just always being there to use, you've got to plan out when you need it and when you can just hop on a gen/totem/heal a teammate. If your major complaint is about the thought required, I don't know what to tell you. I guess sorry you don't get to potato your way to a stun anymore.

    @AsherFrost

    No one is talking about ‘potato their way” to a stun. But nice way to again change the argument that was actually being had.

    Guess I’ll just potato to a tunnel since the devs just made it easier.

  • @Raccoon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064941#Comment_2064941

    Guess they're saying that if you don't get tunneled, can't get to an advantageous position or healed within that 60s window (which is now a huge part of DS' function...it is no longer 'free'), and opt to do something else as a priority instead, it's on the killer / not their misplay?

    It's amusing to see someone complaining about the perk being easy to counter when it functions the same versus tunneling. Perhaps this is the birth of the 'proxy' tunnel.

    Oh, before I forget, gotta tag Johnny!

    @Johnny_XMan

    @Raccoon

    A killer intentionally tunneling is the survivor’s mistake? 😂 What an absurd statement.

    Listen, if you’re going to go through a mediator at least have something smarter to say next time.

    At least it was entertaining. 🤷‍♂️

  • @AsherFrost said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064915#Comment_2064915

    Ok. I agree, sometimes you can be rescued, get where you think you are safe, and get hit... So? What exactly makes that different from old ds? Y'all are acting like the sky is falling over nothing.

    As for your example of actual game play. You hooked a survivor, they got free and managed to progress a gen, so you weren't tunneling, why should they still get the benefit of the anti-tunnel perk?

    @AsherFrost

    The difference is that the killer’s next move is going to determine whether you can use DS or not. Or should the survivor just wait what 30-50 seconds just to make sure the killer isn’t going to play like scum? No thanks.

    At that specific point tunneling is what it is: tunneling.

    You can keep twisting the story but it ain’t going to work. Especially when I was the one who tested it and I meant to tunnel the survivor out, I wasn’t trying to avoid them.

  • @AsherFrost said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064659#Comment_2064659

    The situation where someone gets rescued, and then runs to a gen with 0 progress and just taps it. That's not something that happens.

    @AsherFrost

    No it doesn’t, but the one where (yet again repeating myself) the survivor manages to get to a safe spot and the killer tracks them down, ignoring the rest can and does.

    As I said in an earlier post, I tried it and I didn’t even need to wonder if they still had DS because they had already been on a gen for at least a few seconds after I didn’t see them, when they were unhooked.

    It is what it is. You can continue to say that it’s not that common, bottom line is DS was changed under the same circumstantial scenarios even tho many of us never even got to see DS as a stun, because it was that easy to counter. Now they have just made it even easier to go the scummy route should one choose to.

  • @Chatkovski said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064097#Comment_2064097

    I don't understand the usefulness of all these numbers since this is not the gen tapping trial here (which is probably legitimate, I read an interesting topic about normal VS Ruin regression speed). So I am repeating myself.

    • You consider DS to be used to punish a killer who is tunneling.
    • Quick interactions are perfectly achievable when faced with a killer who is tunneling. Knowing how to manage both is precisely what we call playing well, not playing stupid.
    • Since the killer is tunneling, performing these interactions does not justify deactivating a perk serving to punish the killer who is tunneling.

    And this is true no matter what you think of gen tapping, whatever its reality, whatever its usefulness. I'll say something absurd to be understandable: DS shouldn't punish gen tapping, even if gen tapping didn't exist.

    DS is used to punish a killer who is tunneling, not to arbitrarily punish a Survivor playing correctly despite facing a killer who is tunneling. And a killer who is tunneling a survivor who gen tap, is still a killer who is tunneling a survivor. A killer who is tunneling a survivor who is unhooking another survivor is still a killer who is tunneling. A killer who is tunneling a survivor who heals another dying survivor for less than a second is still a killer who is tunneling, etc.

    What you want, and what currently is, is that a Survivor that the Killer is tunneling can do nothing but... be tunneled. Now, so that DS is not unnecessary and even harmful, the survivor has an interest in the killer tunneling it. It is absurd, the objective is precisely the opposite: that the killer does not do that, and if he does, that he be punished. And I'm not even talking about the impact of that nerf when the killer is snowballing: a survivor with DS isn't allowed to help the team.

    It's always that with the killers: heads or tails, you should always lose against them, and if you lose, it is necessarily that you are stupid.

    This nerf is abusive, and it is certainly one of the worst in terms of game design. I stop here and will not answer any more. My opinion is pretty clear: DS may deserve a change, but definitely not this one. Gen tapping may deserve a response, but not by disabling a perk used to respond to tunneling.

    @Chatkovski

    You hit the nail in the head.

    I’ll just say. Many people including those of us who play killer understand exactly what you are talking about.

  • It’s not trash but not worthy of being a perk. It should be a built-in mechanic for survivors, considering tunneling is available in every match if the killer chooses to.

  • It should be fixed.

  • @Raccoon said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064183#Comment_2064183

    *touches gen at 0% while injured with DS up, literally forfeiting DS in the most unoptimal use possible, getting downed shortly after*

    CURSE YOU, KILLER!

    No idea what they're actually trying to rationalize, either.

    @Raccoon

    Why not instead of looking like you have no idea what you are talking about. Instead pay attention to the context in which the conversation was brought up.

    I don’t mind if you tag me, you don’t have to refer to someone in 3rd person unless you’re afraid of addressing them directly, in which case I understand.

    I never said clueless survivors should get away with allowing themselves to be oblivious to the fact that a killer can come back. That’s the scenario YOU came up with.

    There are shortcuts a killer can take whether via a perk or just tracking knowledge to target that survivor. Keyword : Target. At which point even if the survivor took all the precautionary steps to not be tunneled, there is no way they are going to read the killers mind as to what they want to do. So my guess is you are going to say the survivor should just hop in a locker for the next 60 seconds until the killer figures it out?

    The killer’s intention is there, they just aren’t getting punished for it in many cases.

  • @AsherFrost said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2064473#Comment_2064473

    It does matter. If you are tapping, not working on, just tapping a 0% gen Ds or the lack thereof isn't the problem, your inability to understand the game mechanics is. I get you had to come up with a situation where you felt you had an argument, but the situation you did come up with can only be described as some newbie rank 20 nonsense that Survivors don't actually do in games they want to win. The fact that you had to come up with such a ridiculous example honestly just goes to show how weak your original argument is.

    @AsherFrost

    And which situation according to you did I come up with? This is the first time I am interacting with you about scenarios, unless you are referring to the scenario which a previous poster could no longer respond to.

    You call my argument weak, when you yourself have no argument. Other than pinning this to a rank 20 which I am not, nor are the people that I have played with that this happens to. Nice try tho.

  • @leafninja said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2063701#Comment_2063701

    Still starting a gen regardless if you're just tapping it

    @leafninja

    Again, a generator at 0% is not progressing the match. I don’t know in which world you think it does.

  • @AsherFrost

    It doesn’t matter how often it happens. I assume probably a lot, considering most survivors want to work on the objective once they feel it is safe to do so.

    Also, nobody asked how many times DS was abused, because it wasn’t that common for some killers who knew how to counter it. But here we are now.

  • Yes, the devs didn’t want to shake up the meta. So feel free to use it now more than ever before.

  • Yep, that’s why I laugh when people call it an “anti-tunnel” perk, it never was and it will never be that.

    There are too many variables in which the game cannot possibly adhere to every scenario in which “abuse” took place. This goes for both sides...

    “but I wasn’t tunneling!” Even though they intentionally skipped survivors like pages off a book to meet their end.

    ”but I am being tunneled!” Even though the killer might not have them in their mind at all.

    The change just made it easier for killers to tunnel because now they don’t have to wonder if the survivor still has their timer active.

  • @Viskod said:

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2063936#Comment_2063936

    We must be having different conversations, because I think working on a generator regardless of its progress or how soon after you've been unhooked makes you a fair target and not effectively being "tunneled".

    Should the killer just not be allowed to stop you from working on that generator?

    @Viskod

    ok so first off, you said tapping a gen is progressing the objective, did you not? So now all of a sudden it doesn’t matter if it’s at 0% that they began to tap, because it still somehow (again at 0%) progressing the game and helping the team?

    Which one is it because I know damn well 0% is that... zero, nada.

    I never said a killer shouldn’t be able to stop a survivor off a gen, I said DS shouldn’t deactivate if that killer intentionally sought them out. And I also specificed that im specifically talking about touching a gen, at 0%.

  • @Viskod said:

    Why wouldn't you go back to the hook? Someone was unhooked, there are survivors over there. There could be just two or there could be three, they could be in a huddle somewhere near healing.

    That's not tunneling, that's just common sense.

    @Viskod

    What? I feel like you are having a completely different conversation.

    A person who just got unhooked, went to a safe spot to work on a generator that was literally at 0% should not have their DS deactivate simply because they touched it, if the killer sought them out AFTER they were unhooked. That isn’t punishing the killer for tunneling that is making it easier for them to tunnel.

    Just FYI if you are responding to a forum member if might help to tag them.

  • @Viskod said:

    Well if it's not right off the hook then it's not necessarily what I'd call "tunneling".

    If someone I've hooked gets unhooked and 10-20 seconds later I just happen upon that person that got unhooked, it's not "tunneling" to thwap them, it's just bad luck that we bumped into each other again.

    Tunneling to me is when the killer is close enough to the unhook to immediately just go after the unhooked survivor instead of the person that did the unhooking and specifically chase them regardless of what else is going on or if other targets are readily available.

    But all that aside, tapping a generator makes you fair game regardless.

    @Viskod

    You are obviously not listening. I just told you how I myself did it yesterday.

    It wasn’t a situation where I bumped into them, I sought them out. I was tunneling them on purpose. I later apologized because I wanted to see how broken tunneling is, and it is.

    I am talking about killers who come back to hook not right off the unhook. Nor where they accidentally stumbled upon. Them.

  • @Viskod said:

    So the scenario you're creating here is someone gets unhooked, has an active DS timer, is being chased by the killer again immediately, and effectively "tunneled" but they stop to foolishly tap a generator that's got no progress on it, and now they've lost their DS buff and that's bad?

    If anything they should lose DS for doing something so dumb and being a detriment to their team.

    @Viskod

    I never said exactly right off hook. Which is what many of you fail to understand.

    You don’t have to immediately chase someone off the hook. You could wait out 10 seconds and track them down and tunnel them out. That is what I am talking about.

    Ive already tested it myself, so it’s why I am bringing it up.

    I don't understand the point you're trying to make.

    That's just someone playing poorly who could know better. It has nothing to do with the fact that if you are doing anything that contributes to the objectives then the killer should be able to stop you. It doesn't really matter if the person with an active DS ran to a Generator that's got barely any progress on it to keep it from regressing from 1% to 0% Tapping a Generator is tapping a Generator.

    @Viskod

    The point is what I just said. A 0% gen is not contributing to the team nor to the progression of the game. Meanwhile the killer is still tunneling.

    If a survivor taps a gen at 0% they are just waisting their own time, why should they get anything for that?

    @AsherFrost

    Because the killer can still tunnel them. Why should they be allowed to tunnel , and have DS deactivate if its supposedly an anti tunnel perk now?

  • @Viskod said:

    If you're stopping a generator from regressing then you are contributing to team progress and objectives and entirely fair game.

    @Viskod

    If a survivor taps a gen that is at 0% they aren’t contributing to the team.

  • Every killer player on here who thinks tapping means a survivor isn’t being tunneled doesn’t actually understand how tunneling works.

    Let me repeat this for the 1000th time. You do not have to have just come off hook in order to be tunneled. You could have merely 10 seconds AGO been unhooked, that killer has already tracked you down and you’ve already lost your DS.

    I don’t think you guys understand that there is always context to every single time a killer wants to tunnel someone out. It isn’t cookie cutter to every situation.

    If tapping a gen takes away the 30 seconds you had left on your timer, that you spent trying to find a safe place, only for the killer to track you down then those 30 seconds should remain intact.

    Just like you guys don’t have to worry about everyone having DS, because you want to camp at your leisure, we shouldn’t have to worry about tapping a gen at 1% ffs.

    If you wasted over a full minute of the Killer's time in a chase you have nothing to complain about. That's 80% of any generators that started when the chase began, and full completion of any generator that was 1/4 done or more. This is a WEIRD complaint.

    @EvanSnowWolf

    I know this is gonna come as a shock, but DS' 60 seconds starts off hook, not off tunnel. The killer can inevitably come back to the hook and the timer has already gotten less than 60 seconds. What they are saying is correct. The killer can still tunnel past DS, if this was now a strictly anti-tunnel perk then it would work as such. Off each hook, and freeze until downed. Why is there a timer if the killer is clearly tunneling?

    It would be like saying the Mend bar should not go down if the killer is not engaged in a chase with you. Same concept.

    If you needed ds to play then you shouldn't of had it in the first place :)

    @Gaffy

    So I hear two types of responses here. The one you just gave... and also

    "If you are getting tunneled then just bring DS."

    My question is...

  • Yeah imagine being that one new player who doesn't own Laurie yet.

  • Yeah I am not feeling the hype.

    I don't feel like he fits DBD aesthetically. The survivor looks more like a killer when her resting b face. 😂

    I don't have to. I searched my post history just like you told me.

    You tried, and you fell on your face.

    "I'm mad at a video game, play how I want you to play or I'm gonna break something! REEEEEEEE"

    I'm sorry if you find that acceptable, but I do not. Take a seat, buddy.

    @JimbusCrimbus

    Again. Keep telling yourself that. I'm sure you'll win an award.

    Your "You sound mad" comment just reeks of absolutely the opposite of rationality in a game where tunneling is still a problem.

    Go back to tunneling. Sounds like OP threw a rock and you catched it.
