I don't understand why some people have issues with others sharing their thoughts on this game mode. I'm sure the developers want to read feedback and suggestions on how to improve 2v8, as long as it's done in a respectful way, of course.

i hate to say it bc i really wanted to like this mode, but same here :( survivor in 2v8 is just not fun at all for me, and killer queues are so long that id rather just go do something else with my time
Same here… I HATE 2V8 on the survivor side. I didn’t even finish the challenges. I don’t know how it is on the killer side because I’m not going to wait that long to find a game. So far this game mode sucks and I won’t care if it never returns after this.

Tunneling means that the killer has tunnel vision on a survivor.
When tunneling, a killer will only chase one chosen survivor and that survivor only until he's dead. He'll ignore every other survivor until the chosen one is out of the game.
It is simply not possible in this mode.
I know what tunneling is and I’ve definitely seen it happen in this mode. It’s obviously not as common in this new mode as it is in the regular one but it does happen.

On another thread somebody is complaining about being "tunneled" (he has no idea what that word means).
Trying to explain being tunneled in this mode is impossible doesn't help 😅
So yes, obviously, some people will complain for no good reason. They can be safely ignored.
Tunneling does happen in this mode as well. I’ve seen it happen multiple times to my teammates. It’s not exactly the best strategy but it does still happen from time to time.

Finesse is the perk I'm most interested in. It was enjoyable on the PTB when combined with other perks.

Yeah, I like Tomb Raider, but this forced pairing doesn't make much sense and seems like an obvious cash grab.
I was pretty disappointed when she was announced.
Tomb Raider has horror elements, and Lara is a survivor. She fits well, in my opinion.

These perks definitely need to be looked at. It hurts solo q even more and doesn’t do a lot against SWF. How am I supposed to know where my teammates items are? It works on maps with multiple floors as well. A rework may be necessary unless you just gut the perk.

Absolutely not! DC penalties are fine right now. This is why most people off themselves on hook instead of disconnecting.

It’s really bad right now. The devs need to take a look at why so many survivor players are upset and work on fixing it.

I stopped bringing BP offerings years ago. You get killers that tunnel and camp or teammates that give up or die at 4-5 gens left. It’s not worth it… just a waste of an offering.

I love using it with off the record. It’s not an amazing perk but it’s fun to use.

Same. I only have like 50 cakes across all survivors because of how ######### this event was. I usually play every day of the event and usually get some enjoyment out of it. Not this year. It doesn't have to be completely balanced but it needs to be fun.

like 50 across all survivors? Maybe less. I stopped playing during the event because of all the sweaty and toxic killers. The event wasn’t really all that fun on the survivor side. I didn’t really need BP anyways. I already have enough BP saved to prestige Lara Croft when she releases. Prob won’t play anymore until then.

I think so. The Tomb Raider Reboot definitely has horror related stuff in it. We are talking about a survivor and Lara is absolutely perfect for this role. Can’t wait until the release because I had a lot of fun playing on the PTB. Will prob buy every cosmetic in the store for her!

I never bring BP offerings. I have almost every character leveled up and all perks unlocked. I’ve been tunneled, camped, slugged and repeatedly smacked on the hook during every event… No more cakes for the killer (sorry teammates). I won’t reward that behavior anymore. I haven’t used a cake offering for a couple of years now.

Being that this is obviously a very wide-stated problem, I hope this isn't true and that players can get what they were expecting.
That's so strange. I got an email from them earlier today and they were extremely nice and helpful. They sent me an email with a code to redeem the banner.

Nah, I have been playing since launch on console, haha. You just need to purchase auric cells and you get it.
Edit- it’s in my inventory right now. It definitely doesn't need to be for the first time.

No, I won’t be buying the new chapter. I have zero interest in it. It’s just way too silly for me to like it. I do hope those who are interested will enjoy it though. Hopefully those buffs will make him a lot more fun to play as. He was clunky on the PTB.

This Exactly! Most SM players I go against play her in a very nasty way and then wonders why everyone left the game. She attracts some of the worst dbd players. Lol

Because a lot of people don’t know much about D&D (myself included). Some people don’t see it as horror either… even though it does have horror elements. Personally I’ll probably skip it myself.

No. I’m fine with making something like that into a perk but not base-kit. Certain killers and perks would make this feature extremely unfun and unfair. Bad idea.
