  • Code: HoHoHo

    is another 100k

  • People that put Kate in a sweater get annihilated, regardless how dirty I have to play. 3 EZ escapes for one dead sweater is a fair trade!

  • It won’t. It could end in a ban of course, but they’ll just make a new account and swap IPs using one of many programs to do it all over again. Ironic how even a few Fog Whisperes are sponsored by VPNs…lol.

  • You don’t need DS, Unbreakable, Deadhard on survivor.

I find it very boring, and it doesn’t mean you’re good.

Hope this fake analogy proves my point.

Yes but I purposefully let the Jill unhook so she could get some more points. The Feng was unhooking all the other people pretty much.

Either way, almost nothing you do in a game can result in disciplinary action. So long as you’re not hacking, abusing bugs/exploits, etc..

Not playing as nice as people want you too has no reprocussion

  • Your opponents playing bad is not bannable.

Unless you were hardcore face camping, unhooking in a killer’s face is never the right play, even with Borrowed Time.

  • Easy challenge.

Requirements in build: Cigar Box, VHS Porn, Indoor Map Offering. Everything else is your preference.

    Strats:

Cigar Box allows you to see survivors AND survivors to see you within 16m of being intoxicated. The VHS Porn addon swaps the bottles colors so that yellow is now speed debuff and purple is a speed buff.

Smart survivors will eventually catch on, but trust me…in your first fee chases, no survivor will intentionally run into a purple bottle. This is sort of a meme build, but it does have some strength, even at high level gameplay.

    Hope this helps! <3

  • Well…

she is one ugly survivor…she needs SOMETHING 🤪

I suppose the OP means that the block feature literally doesn't work. If you try to block a player, it won't register at all. No effect takes place. Even the option will remain as 'Block', instead of turning to 'Unblock', as it used to.

He said he wanted to prevent them from being paired with/against him again. No such feature exists, just going off the info OP provided.

  • Blocking prevents DMs. Nothing more.

I'm trying to understand why do killers get mad if you do good at the game, I usually end up last to get hooked and not from being emeressed (I don't know if I spelled that right but gg) I run perks that tell me what's going on in the game, I run resilience, prove thyself, sprint burst and kindred, so I know what's going on when a person is on a hook, so if a person is in chase another person is getting the save I should be working on a gen or vice versa and that's my normal play style, if a killer is coming my way I can bait the killer into a swing and sprint burst out of the area and it usually works 90% of the time and it gains me alot of distance giving survivors plenty of time to heal which they normally don't do. I'm still not close to being the best at looping but I'm good enough for all the survivors to heal and to do at least one gen, I don't run no op perks but killers still seem to get mad. I just had a legion just sit there and use her powers repeatedly while I'm on the hook and on second stage might I had so I'm not going nowhere, my teammate even tried to save but the killer shook her head and didn't even bother with the other survivor, they just kept using legions powers or kept stabbing me over and over again, when did this become more then just a game and get so personal lol

If you are NEVER hooked until the end…that makes you a bad teammate.

As a survivor, you HAVE to be team-oriented to win. Part of this includes managing your team’s hook states. Take some aggro for a deathhook teammate. Kindred is lovely, but it doesn’t paint the whole picture.

If all your teammates get 3 hooked to death, and you die on the first hook, that means you didn’t attempt to protect them. Standing still and giving the killer a free down/hook can be massive for your team sometimes (not that I recommend it at this extreme). I always give props where it’s due though…AT LEAST you were on gens and not cowering in a corner, kudos.

It's the opposite. Camping makes killers win except against the most coordinated and skilled teams.

Against 90% of the players camping wins games.

So…teams fault. There is no scenario where there is a killer camping, that WINS unless the survivors let it happen.

The reason they get those wins…is all of them will come try to greed he save…no one on gens.

As soon as you notice the killer is camping, push gens. EZ win. Hiding behind a tree for 2 minutes hoping an unhook opportunity will open up will do you no favors.

  • @Arachne said:

Just think about it, Hooks removes the survivor ability to play the game and killers like Leatherface can facecamp someone the whole game since they have no incentive to move away from it. Other asymmetrical games does this way better. Example: Last Year puts survivor in random lockers where killers have incentive to go there. Home Sweet Home Survive have a revival system like Apex Legends. Seriously, they should just rework the hook in general. Everyone wants to play the game, not only the killer.

Ok, I agree that hooks design is a bit off, but VERY far from the reasons you list.

You claim the killer has no incentive to leave a hook…yes they do! Camping makes killers lose. If they still win, your team is at fault for not doing their job, gens.

A facecamping killer will only kill 1, maybe 2 survivors if they hook the 1st early enough.

The reason I think hooks are a little bit flawed mechanically, is the astronomical amount of time it takes to hook a survivor. 2 second pickup animation, journey to the hook, another 2 second animation. Sometimes hooking a survivor can take 30 seconds…that’s almost half a gen!

Why do people think slugging is so popular? It immobilizes the survivor in a much quicker way.

  • Flashlight clicking is a valuable game strategy. The idea is to throw the killer off their game. It works often. It’s just psychological warfare.

There’s ALOT more to playing VS killers than just gens and chase.

  • I’m pretty sure we all knew it was a crutch perk already 🤪🤪

Title. Want new customisation tbh, devs have spoke about custom items before but I'd honestly like custom basements, maybe we unlock them for hitting tier 70 of a rift? Maybe they're just a new way to spend shards...

Current basements look very bland and boring even with updated graphics. Imagine having some form of lab for doctor with horrifying tools and equipment on display, certainly would allow you to being more of a theme if your killer to each map

It’d be nice to have some decor to admire if I get basement hooked VS Bubba/Hag/Trapper…knowing damn well Im not going anywhere 😝

    Love this idea!

Unless it's an indoor map, you're not going to get a free hit unless you're Wraith. If you get a free hit on an outdoor map, even a stealth killer, you are playing survivor badly. The problem is that there are 5 indoor maps compared to 31 outdoor maps.

And well, you have really answered me yourself, even if you really get a free hit, you are going to have to hit him again, and in chase the stealth is not going to serve you, especially against an experienced survivor.

You don’t chase them. Some killers are just not designed for chasing survivors longer than 15 seconds if you want to play them effectively: Wraith, Myers, GF, Hag.

If you’re going from strong tile to strong tile chasing one survivor, there’s your problem right there.

  • @TheBus4K said:

Killers like Ghost Face, Pig, Myers and I don't know if anyone else should get some kind of buff. A player with a minimal looping concept can easily loop on just vaults or even unsafe pallets, as those killers have no other way of hitting survivors but hitting them with an M1. Killers like Freddy or Clown at least have a slow, Demodog has his Shred, Pyramid Head his ranged attack that goes through anything, etc.

Literally if you face someone with enough hours, he will loop you throughout the game, without using all the pallets.

I don't know exactly what buff should be done to them, maybe Bloodlust activates sooner, or just rework their power, but something has to be done, because M1 killers, unless you face monkeys, are incredibly weak killers vs "press W" survivors.

Ghostface, Myers DO have anti-loop ability…called stealth. You hit them before the chase ever starts. Anything else, is playing the killer wrong.

The Pig does have an ambush attack that is useful at some loops. However, experienced survivors tend to abandon the tile as soon as you crouch, but this also has counterplay because you can just uncrouch and close distance before they make the next tile.

IMO, they’re all fine. Sure, some killers are weaker than others, that goes without saying. But none are so bad that they are not viable.

Ugh... Honestly I probably need millions and millions more still. Lets see... Does anyone know exactly how many BP it is to max a character to 40? I think I might be over half way with teachable perks. And I am nearing 300 game hours. I started playing last year.

Mate you can find a match with cross play off on Xbox nobody plays with cross play off :(

They can still get paired with you if they have cross-play on…? Not sure what you’re trying to say lol

It’s free choice, Im just giving the guy a tip. Just acknowledge that going VS PC or next-gen console opponents will give you a natural handicap.

  • It’s every killer, every map, every game.

I do fine, just play with crossplay off until it’s fixed. Survivors suffer from the ssame issues, iy just impacts their performance a bit less because 75% of their game is sitting still at a gen.

Games aren’t unwinnable, it’s just much more annoying to be on a survivors ass, FPS drops to nothing, now the survivor literally disappeared during the lag freeze. Challenging and annoying simultaneously

Edit: And if someone Deadhards, prepare for a 3-second lag stun

  • let’s throw BP at them, although the long-term players don’t really need them…that’ll keep ‘em quiet!

Can’t blame them for trying though lol

Now if you had to guess what the top 3 survivor perks are what would they be??

I did a YT video on this based on 200 games. Top 3 are

    -Borrowed Time

    -Deadhard

    -Iron Will

  • If her Vile Purge is an insta-down…

what would ever be the point of using Corrupt Purge??

  • Short answer…No.

He’s weaker than his previous version lol

  • @Altarf said:

I still want the rocket launcher in the game in SOME way - maybe a mutation rate 4, or when all supply crates are opened a special supply crate appears somewhere in the trial that Nemesis can open for a rocket launcher with one shot. Instadowns but very slow to charge up and fire, red tracking dot so survivors know where it's going to go, whatever you need to make it balanced.

I don't know, I'm just not a fan of Nemesis' only ability being the Tentacle Strike. When you think of Nemesis you don't think of a mediocre, really short tentacle, you think of his ludicrous speed and missile launcher. It'd be like if Pyramid Head used his spear instead of the Great Knife.

I was sooo DemoPuppySad when his Mori didnt include a rocket launcher lol.

  • …

sounds like free hits to me. This should be a last resort if you’re out-positioned and out-distanced with literally no other option.

  • Do things generally slower in game. Find a couple totems, search an item chest. Admire the creepy ass stones in Sanctum of Wrath…

now the killer has no need for slowdown perks.

Unpopular opinion: I find facing Spirit enjoyable, not annoying

  • @DBD_IS_AWSOME said:

I bet a lot of Nemesis mains or just anyone who plays Nemesis knows that Tier 3 Nemesis is absolutely worthless 90% of the time. So, I was thinking what they could do for a Tier 4. Tier 4 would be just a bit harder to unlock than Tier 3 but this is how it would go.

    Tier 4 Boosts:

Increases Range from 6 meters to 7 meters

When hitting a survivor with the Tentacle attack it infects and takes a health state. This does not apply when the survivor is in the injured state

    what do you think?

No real issue here with your suggestion.

I can only speak for myself, but I’m in T3 in the very early game. What you’re suggesting (infecting + injure in one M2) would be a bit strong, IMO, especially for how EZ tiering up is.

Going off your suggestion, your T4 status would have to be on a time limit at minimum to not be seriously broken for lower-skilled(ranked) players. After all, the map only has 4 vaccines, or 3 with an add-on…surpassing the stage of free infection just doesn’t sit right in my head for some reason.

  • Wasted? Shards do only 2 things. If you’re saving them for hopes of an added function for this FREE in-game currency, I believe you’ll be waiting awhile.

  • Bare in mind, the new MMR will be extremely inaccurate unless the following conditions are met:

    -Crossplay turned off

    -Only play survivor solo

Let’s be honest, it’ll make for some boring games at high skill and low skill tiers. Average players won’t notice much difference. Queue times will be longer for each side respectively.

Personally, I’d rather have a game now regardless of opponent’s skill rather than waiting an additional 8 minutes for the server to find opponent/opponents for me of my MMR rating.

  • @EntitySpawn said:

Seriously cant be bothered trying to carry players that cant do objectives, cant do a chase for 5 seconds, trade hooks and just lack the basic understanding of the game and perks.

    You say that now…

trust me, the game will be HORRIBLE for top-tier and low-tier players alike if the MMR works accordingly.

If you’re just the average DBD gamer, you will notice almost nothing from MMR and thus the quality if your team won’t be much different than it is now.

Edit: If I facecamp every single game as Bubba (theoretically, its not my style)…I WILL kill 2 people every match, regardless if they match my skill or not. It’ll take a serious gen focused team (with items and perks to speed things up) to finish 5 gens in 4 minutes.

MMR wont change anything but making lobby queue ls longer

    https://forum.deadbydaylight.com/en/discussion/comment/2357146#Comment_2357146

Yeah, totally! I never get blinded, ah ha ha... That sounds like something a baby killer would fall for. Literally nobody struggles with those.

    Yep.

While I can appreciate your sarcasm, Im not saying I never get blinded. That’d just be a bold-faced lie.

What I’m saying is, 90% of the time, the user(s) with flashlights are potato survivors just trying to have fun. They’ll throw the game to follow killers around. I’m never complaining about anything survivors do if they’re not on gens…they’re helping me win easier.

ofc, I’ll get blinded at pallet breaks, occasionally even at a window vault. So? I have ears, they work semi-well. Even if they have Iron Will, footsteps still make sound. They’re not flashlight saving their teammates VS, thats just not possible.

Why do I care if they want to lose on purpose to have a more fun game? Everyone’s different

  • Buff Trapper

I would NOT change his base kit traps. It would just lead to severe lack of counterplay at specific tiles. All I would change, is that he can refill his traps at lockers. This would prevent him from walking to a corner of the map he has no interest in ever being in. A 2 second locker search I’d take over a 35 minute walk of shame anyday.

    Nerf Doctor

Ok…hear me out. No, I do not believe the Doctor is OP, but neither would I call him weak. Solid B tier killer IMO. I only suggest nerfing him, because he’s the only killer in the game whose power does too many things.

    -Prevent pallet drops/vaults

    -Prevent window vaults

-Forcefully interrupt totems, heals, unhooks, gen repairs, chest loots, exit gate actions

    -Godly tracking VS stealth

-Prevents the use of one’s items (T3 only)

-Has a free built-in Deerstalker perk (T3 only).

Just tone some of it down a bit.

  • Well…

in an attempt to keep things balanced, Im going to become a killer main that complains about Technician.

    Now we’re all balanced.

  • Im confused?

I can’t be the only killer that wishes 100% of survivors brought flashlights every single game.

Why not a tip on how to counter medkits to force a 2nd survivor to heal the 1st? Or a strat for how to play around hatch keys?

Flashlights, no one cares about flashlights

  • @Chilli_man2400 said:

Smash hit is a perk that everyone has suggested for a long time so you get a sprint burst when using pallets but does it need a buff?

I say yes because even though you get 4 seconds of haste it’s kinda outclassed by lithe and sprint burst cause you can easily manipulate the boosts this one you have to stun them so here’s how I would change it

When you throw down a pallet break into a sprint at 150% speed for 2 seconds. If you stun the killer with a pallet break into a sprint for 150% speed for 4 seconds. Causes exhaustion for 60/50/40 seconds

Just poor design for an exhaustion perk. The whole benefit of having an exhaustion perk is to be able to make it to a tile if you find yourself outpositioned.

Smash Hit just requires you to waste resources at the tile you’re already at.

IMO, buffing this would be very hard to do, as most killers are happy to eat a strong pallet for free to remove it from the equation in future chases.

I see no way if buffing this without making it a non-exhaustion perk. Problem there, is it would become WAY too strong when synergized with an actual exhaustion perk.

Your suggested changes seem more like a nerf to me. Free pallets wasted. 2 survivors running Smash Hit and the game will be out of tiles before 3 gens pop.

  • wth?

So, here I am…seeing what logic OP brings to the topic. Trust me, I think some his add-ons could use a tweak or 2. But All Seeing Blood!?!?

I mean sure, if you’re a baby survivor hiding all game I see why this would be an issue. Perhaps you’re misinterpreting how far 12m is.

  • Why would they nerf him? His previous version was stronger lol.

If you know what you’re doing with Wraith, the uncloak lunge was MUCH more valuable than m/s.

He’s simply gone from Windstorm reliant to Swift Hunt reliant.

Plague, Legion, Spirit. they are the killers that seem amusing but boring at the same time.

I don't know about my aim if i choose Plague.

    is Legion boring after awhile?

People gonna hate me if i play Spirit but what if I'm rank 20 Spirit?

    It’s a video game…

play whatever the hell you damn well please.

Ignore the entitled. Trust me…they won’t care how much fun you’re having.

  • As of late? Its been pretty popular for years now. Arguably the best chase perk in the game.

Perhaps the caliber of your opponents has just gone up as if late?

  • His problem is not the 8 knives. His problem, is laceration decay.

Example: Trickster chases survivor 1, gets 14 knives in him. However, survivor 1 leads chase to survivor 2 working on a gen. The trickster loses all value of pressuring survivor 1 to protect the generator that survivor 2 is working on. He’s good at 1v1, but that’s not enough to win.

Clown is good at 1v1 as well, so why is he so darn weak (I don’t believe any killer is weak, just weaker than others)?

IMO, keep him 110. Keep him @ 8 knives…just remove laceration decay or add an optional way for survivors to remove it similar to cleansing VS Plague or curing VS Nemmy. The killer in its current state has no incentive to swap targets when needed…as the majority of decent killer players do. This leads to a tunnel vision type gamestyle, which ofc is not tactical at all. But his current base kit (not PTB) offers no incentive for playing smart.

  • A bit off-topic…

but am I the only one noticing that there are some super weird and darn right questionable job titles?? 🤪

Right. The average player probably won’t notice much difference. But very good and very bad players…yikes!

  • It’s a Bubz. Don’t go down near basement.

If you have to, allow yourself to lose the chase early to prevent a basement hook.

Push gens, take pride in being the sacrificial lamb so your team gets an EZ win.

Sure…it’s boring, we can’t pretend otherwise…but it’s all you can do.
