But if you think of it that whay then ash should just have one suit from the ending of season 3
That's not what I'm saying. Think about it this way. Do you wear clothes you wore 30 years ago bc you want something new to wear? no. Why? bc they wouldn't reach past your hips. There's even a high chance you weren't even alive 30 years ago.
-
Okay but when the period Ash is from in DbD is from Ash vs. Evil Dead. All of his cosmetics are from that (Except the christmas sweater) and so it wouldn't make sense for them to put cosmetics from something that had already happened to him 30 years ago.

I didnt watch the video but I wish that killer's lunges were ever so slightly farther bc I always miss bc I was 3 centimeters off.

What do you mean, switch runs well. As well as any other console at least, this game just sometimes screws you over no matter what platform you play on.

You do realize if someone gets unhooked and someone gets put on the same hook it's the same feeling 4head. And the entity doesn't care for survivors
This is why you have designated hooks for survivors. Don't go for what's closest go for one that is for that survivor.

Dead Hard - Removed the distance gained from using this perk
Sprint burst - Survivors who go into the game with this equipped will be wearing a diaper since its “babys first crutch perk”
NOED - If the killer has stayed in proximity of hooked survivors for more than 30 seconds ir hooked the same survivor 3 times in a row then NOED does not activate
Legion - “We discovered that players did not enjoy the Legion therefore we have removed him from the game”
Claudette - Now has a bright glow around her P3 cosmetics
######### is with the sprint burst and Legion notes. Some of us love Legion and have him as a second main. And for Sprint Burst even more #########, it's an exhaustion perk, it's supposed to be a good perk, all exhaustion perks are good and can be played around.

If there was more hooks in the corner than there would be no point to have hooks be lost in the first place. And imagine you're in the place of the survivor, would YOU want to be hooked on a hook someone already got sacrificed on? Why the hate for swamp? :( It's my favorite map to play on as Legion bc I 4k so frequently on it, it's easy to see survivors but hard to see killers, it's not that big of a map, the gens are spread nice and aren't impossible to get to (except for that one yacht gen), and it's nicely lit.

Camping aid kits and emergency med kits let survivors heal one state with their 16 charges. But, when adding bandages or self-adherent wrap to a first aid kit (24 + 8 =32), the last 16 charges only cover 99.9% of the heal and cannot be completed without external aid. Is there an extra small percentage level actually required to fully heal?
Ooooooooh, so that's why my emergency med kit didn't fully heal me and I had to use adrenaline to heal. I thought it was because the killer had overwhelming presence and I was in his terror radius while healing for like .0001 second

anything that requires more conscious effort than being a rock is skill.
Well yeah but would you really qualify breathing as a skill? Or lighting yourself on fire? I think you're confusing ability to do something with a skill, something you can do that you can do well. You can't really tunnel well now can you? You do it the same as any other killer.
-
@DeviousDemo said:
So tell me again what is so skillful about gen rushing and abusing safe loops?
It takes a lot of hard work and coordination to "gen rush" and "abuse safe loops" (Okay the only "safe" loops I'll give you is the house on ormond because that loop is pretty damn safe). Gen rushing isn't actually a problem if you have perks like Corrupt that stop them from getting one or two gens done too early, and paired with a few information perks so you know which gens they're working on, it's hard NOT to apply pressure to the gens so they don't do them too effectively. And there are no completely safe loops in Dead by Daylight except for the pallets you have to break, but even then just because you have to break a pallet doesn't mean that survivor will run you for the rest of the game, and if they do you committed to that chase WAY too long. You should've stopped at one gen nevermind five. If a survivor is looping you at a pallet really really well then just break it. Even if you just break every pallet that gets thrown immediately you still gain something from that.
-
As I said on your other post, no, it doesn't take skill to do unless you wait out their BT and possible DS. But it is a valid tactic you can use if you're about to lose the game. You should only tunnel or need to tunnel if you have 1 or 2 gens left, only 2 people or less are dead on hook, and nobody is dead yet. That's the only situation I feel that it's okay to tunnel, and sometimes it's not even your fault. The unhooker might unhook in front of you without BT and so you take advantage of the situation and get some map pressure. That's not tunnelling, that's creating an advantageous situation where you know three people are going to be not doing gens because one's on the ground, one's being chased, one's going to get the down'ed survivor up, and the fourth survivor will also be going to get the down'ed survivor if you're lucky and they don't have any information perks or aren't in a SWF.

Agreed, the fact that I see red ranks tunnelling and using the excuse 'You were closer' is dissapointing
I do however think that tunneling is the unhookers fault if you know for a fact that there's no DS in the game, you unhook right in front of the killer and you don't have Borrowed. There should be a perk that if you unhook a survivor while in a chase you become exposed because unhooking someone knowing you'll get downed is one of the worst mistakes a survivor can make and they can give killers soooooooo much pressure.
-
Tunneling is only a strategy killers should use if they have almost no chance to win. Like if there's 2 gens left, you have no kills, and the survivor you just hooked is second hook it can be really beneficial to tunnel them or if you find someone else dead on hook than go kill them. I only ever tunnel if there is 2 gens and one a couple people are on death hook. If three or more people are dead on hook or someone is already dead than I play as nice as I can while still attempting to win.
-
Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. His powers could have something to do with Mrs. Lovett's Meat Pies and getting a Devour Hope type thing where each time a survivor is unhooked and he's far enough away, like say 40 meters, he gets a slight buff like a 3% movement increase or a 5% greater lunge distance or faster vault speed or something. Although I feel that if he got 7 or 8 tokens all survivors would be exposed or something like that. His perks could be Hex:Unforgiving, the survivor that has done the most gens has a decreased speed of 2%/3%/4%, this Hex lights up 2 Hex totems. Hiding in Plain Sight, 1/2/3 of your Hex totems are consealed as Dull totems but removes your ability to see their auras. Pirellis's Chest, gives survivors a higher chance of getting a brown or yellow item from chests by 50%/60%/70%. As you can tell I've been thinking about this ALOT.

Most of the time, it's not SWF ruining your killer matches. It's mostly yourself ruining your killer matches.
99% of SWF's are just people shooting the proverbial **** with their buddies. The amount of tryhard SWF's are the 1%. Chances are, and statistically speaking, if you're losing to all SWFs, you really need to get better; and you can. DBD is a fairly easy game to play on either side. You can do it:)
? No? Killers have to sweat their balls off to win games while survivors have the ability to know what they need to do and when they need to do it because of a feature that wasn't even apart of the original game.
-
YES. THANK YOU. I lose chases because I can't break pallets, kills because I have to back up from the hook and walk back up to it to try hooking the same survivor for the 25th time, and get smacked with head on because I can't open lockers.

Haunted Grounds and Undying.
Ruin and Undying.
Ruin and Haunted Grounds.
Devour and Haunted Grounds.
NOED and Undying.

######### are you talking about? Killers have a crap ton of synergy combos as well. I swear to God, killers sometimes have this false sense of oppression.
Enduring+Spirit Fury:Pre Drop 3rd pallet
BBQ+Pop:Hide in a locker before hook
Corrupt+Pop:Wait out Corrupt
Thrilling Tremors+Pop:Hide in a locker so he can't find you with Thrilling or BBQ if he has it
Haunted Grounds+Undying:Bring Detective's Hunch or Small Game
Ruin+Undying:Bring Detective's Hunch or Small Game
Ruin+Haunted Grounds:Stealth around map if you cleansed Haunted Grounds
Devour+Haunted Grounds:Stealth when you cleanse Haunted Grounds
NOED+Undying:Make sure NOED doesn't have a chance to spawn by cleansing totems
NOED+Blood Warden:Leave before they hook them you dumbass Meghead
Killers are insanely counterable. What can you do about Adrenaline? Nothing. Unbreakable? Lose map pressure that could win you the game. Object of Obsession? Be undetectable the whole game genius. Borrowed Time? Don't take advantage of the bad situation the unhooker made. DS? Let a survivor pick themselves up with unbreakable because you sure as hell can't. Soulguard? Just go work on a generator like a good killer because there is no counter to soulguard, they pick themselves up in front of you face, you hit them, they leave never to be seen again.

Unbreakable, DS, ADRENALINE, Borrowed Time, Detectives Hunch, and Leadership (I think that's what it's called I forget.). Survivors have much, MUCH better perks than killers. And the fact that people don't realize that Keys are stronger than Mori's because you can still burn an offering to go to a survivor sided map like Dead Dawg or Ormond.

No 4 gens popping in two minutes? You seriously don't believe him? You've never had a game where you find the first survivor, they're an absolute god at looping, and then 3 gens pop, each within 5 seconds of each other? Then you leave him try to find someone else but they're all steal thing so you leave a gen, find another survivor, down him, and the last two gens pop?

It's a huge deterrent against cheesy tunneling strats which are used in almost every game I've seen without an obsession.
Let me guess, are you the guy that waits for the killer to get another hook after you get unhooked then you jump in a locker, DS him for tunnelling you, tbag and leave? Because DS is so abusable it's not even funny Mr. Survivor Main
-
@GoodLookinCookin said:
In an average game of survivor you are most likely going to have a killer that will stay near or close by to a hook and will come for those two survivors, if the killer spots the injured survivor he will go for the injured survivor, without ds this can be frustrating especially if you are solo queue and you get unhooked right in front of the killer.
But lets say in other circumstances the killer is nice and goes for the rescuer instead, then the survivor will go get healed or work on gens in the mean time. Most of the time ds will run out in this time, but if the killer finds you again in this time you can still ds them.
I dont think ds needs any nerfs or buffs, the only understandable one would be to end ds when you work on a gen.
As a killer you can play around this, ds is meta and should be predictable.
---In conclusion I do think ds is stupid and its just another breeding perk for toxicity and unfun playstyles but it is needed in the environment of dbd in its current state sadly.----
Killers tunnel because they need to get someone out of the game because there's likely only one or two gens left. Also, DS was made to be an anti tunneling perk, meaning if you were to be taken straight off the hook than downed you should be able to DS. But if the killer gets in chase with rescuer, downs them easily bc they were exposed or injured, hooks them, finds you and downs you, then gets DS'd because he was "tunnelling" that's not fair bc he just went through a 20 second chase with your rescuer and hooked them. Meaning he's not tunnelling you. So if you think DS doesn't need a nerf you need to sober the hell up and stop being so survivor sided.

Also, Why did they remove the different vision for BT? I liked that as well.
Omg yeah one of the reasons I started maining wraith besides his invisibility was his super long lunge, now I miss more hits than I land because I'm always too far from the survivor.
-
You're welcome, there are certainly better builds but I like this one. If you like, you can swap out STBFL with Make Your Choice if you remember to drop your chase and go look for the unhooker, wraith can get the down easier than other killers because of his stealth. I just don't run it because I never remember to drop my chase and go for the person that unhooked.

Usually I dodge a lobby when all the survivors have default skins, so I think it's probably the matchmaking messing with them and I leave. Sometimes I dodge when I see 3 or 4 Claudettes with dark clothes because I don't want to play hide-and-seek.

I usually only dodge a lobby if the survivors have similar names because then you know they're probably a SWF, and I have been getting so many SWF at purple ranks that I only get a 4 man kill once every 4 games.

How is Wraith at the higher ranks? I hover around green/purple (I avoid red ranks) and really like him. What's some good Perk builds for him? I already know Windstorm for add-ons.
My favorite build for Wraith is Pop for regressing gens, Corrupt for the early game, Brutal for breaking pallets, and STBFL for chases. I also run usually a yellow or green windstorm add-on and the bone clapper.

I think you are overestimating new Survivors. Wraith isn't good at high ranks without add-ons, but he dominates low ranks since he is difficult to see and moves faster than normal when cloaked.
Yeah sorry, I didn't actually play Wraith at low ranks, I mostly played Myers, Pig, and Legion. I am however now a Wraith main because in games I seem to really like characters with the ability to sneak around unnoticed and get an advantage, this is why I also main Spy in TF2.
-
@Pulsar said:
I feel like Wraith is actually better for this (and he is stealthy, so it'll be easier for newer players) but yes, the core of what you said is 100% correct. Legion is basic enough that you really have to be a god-tier player to use him against good Survivors, therefore, he is a great Killer to start out with.
My only issue is that playing Legion at low ranks is basically a free win. I know many people DC as soon as they see Deep Wounds and even if they don't, it is super easy to win because of how much they will try to heal.
No, absolutely not, Wraith is one of the worst killers to play if you're new and don't know what you're doing. Survivors will run away because you won't be coming from an unexpected angle, you won't use good add-ons as you won't have any unlocked, and you'll be forced to use his horrible teachables.

I do agree with you in a way. Adrenaline basically only helps if the survivors are already winning and the killer isn't doing well. It's actually very impractical for the survivor because it only helps at the end of the game, and if ur not in a chase or injured its it's useless. There are only some rare exceptions where it's a comeback for the survivor, such as the killer just closed the hatch and the gates are powered. Overall adrenaline should probably be changed.
Yeah like even if you ARE injured and ARE in a chase it's super unfair once that final gen pops for killer because it's a get out of jail free card and the killer can't counter it.
-
He doesn't need a nerf, think about how easy Deathslinger can bait. I don't see you complaining about him now are ya? Also, when he actually uses his power red outlines appear on the ground that tell you he's swinging. Just be better at predicting, play more PH so you understand when and when not they're gonna bait when you play survivor.
-
Omg, thank you! I have always thought this perk was useless after the nerf. I've only ever gotten it to work twice ever. I was thinking that they could buff it by either having you take 5 normal hits or only 2 protection hits. 3 is outrageous, with 5 normal hits, if you heal each time you're unhooked as you normally would then you'd get it by your third down. Or with only two protection hits you could take one, go heal, take another which would encourage you to run aura perks like aura or assistance perks like breakout. Or maybe both, bond could help you find the survivor before they're actually downed and breakout would help them escape more than you just taking at max, 2 seconds from their 10 second wiggle timer.
