alright you know what, thats fair ^^

im sorry that players like you have to face killers like me who just dont give a dime. But i would play more "fair" if the majority of players was like you.

most of the time i just want to get my challenges done, if it is not a 4k challenge or something that is done easyly i might to let last survivor have hatch or exit gates, or even run into every pallet they throw so they get points. But its rare. If i have the opportunity to 4k i will hardly let it slipp, all though i know its gonna hurt my mmr.

but 3k hurts mmr too so i would have to set myself up to only maximum 2k every lobby. Which then hurts the bloodpoints i would earn, so yeah XD i have my priorities. Once maybe i have ALL perks maxed out i can reconsider my priorities. But that is far future.

It's alright, it's all part of the game ! It sure doesn't feel great when killers play very competitive and I'm just there to chill, but at the same time I know it's different strokes for different folks. I do encounter very fun killers as well, so it's all good =)

If I really wanted to play efficiently, I could probably invest the time to train a lot and bring the best stuff, but I'd much rather let my rare items gather dust in my hoard and stay at a level where I see a lot of variety. I dread the day I'm good enough to only ever see a few killers from the roster, instead of pretty much everyone at least a few times a month ! =D

  • I really like playing against Hag, because I really like playing as her ! =D

She's quite fragile in her power, easily counterable by people who know how to go against her, which I encounter frequently. Even in solo, if you know how Hag works, and she's not a pro player, you can absolutely counter her.

I like going against her because I like the challenge of "Ok, if I were her, what would I do from now ? What would I have trapped ?".

Sure, she's a bit of a solo stomper, but then again, so are other killers. Playing solo against her is hard because she's so rare, so people don't learn to play against her, and you're likely to be in a team where you're the only person who knows what to do. If more people played her, more people would know how to counter her, and she wouldn't be as scary.

As for the camp, not all Hags camp (or have Franklin's, for that matter : I know I don't, because I don't own Leatherface DLC). Sure, they'll try and go for 3 gen strats, but it's reasonably straightforward to counter.

I, for one, wish I saw her more often ! =D

  • Cannot agree more !

  • Bloodweb is quite slow, but at the same time, I'm grateful for the increase in purchasing power we got these past updates. I'll gladly watch a video and turn off my brain for a few minutes to get my bloodweb done.

  • Another generalization of all Survivors in a negative light ? Great ! That's nothing short of the 4rth or 5th time this week, and we're only Friday morning. What a treat !

great! and what do you do as a survivor to play "fair" towards killers?

I don't bring super meta builds (which unfortunately comes to bite me in the ass since I therefore can't counter tunnel), though I don't control what my teammates bring.

I don't BM, and will reprimand my teammates in chat if they do.

If we're into an impossible situation of 2 remaining survivors, too many gens left and my teammate seems to be stealthing, I'll look for killer or wait under a hook so that the game is not extended by 15 min of hide and seek.

I offer a kill to killers who played fair and got no kills by the time the doors opened. Especially paying it forward to Nurses =) (They were the kindest players I met when I was a baby survivor)

And if the game was fair, I'll compliment the killer on one good play they did, maybe they had a crazy mindgame I fell for, or a stupid down that was objectively funny, or good map pressure... plenty of good things to say when we all had fun !

(If the game was unenjoyable or if killer BM'd, I'll just refrain from engaging in the chat rather than write anything)

I'm not good enough as survivor to really need to do anything more to play particularly fair or be an easy target. X)

  • I'm a sucker for stats and have recently started using nightlight as well, so I'm looking forward to updates :)

  • I've been running it a bit for the past few weeks, and it's quite good ! I really like it, except for the part where if you're being healed by someone else you're still loud as all hell, especially if you're playing Leon for example.

I'm running it with CoH, Shadow Step and We'll Make It, for fast quiet heals. =)

  • I get your point, but I'd 100% go for one of the others. I mean, that's a scenario where I actually know where each of the other survivors are after an unhook ? And none of them are on gens ? That's quite comfy enough for me !

  • There are plenty of very nice people in this community, they're just... less vocal, I guess.

Plus when you're not facing a SWF, survivors you killed early don't tend to linger in the game, so the person you're talking to is often the person who was the last to die, and who was the most invested in their possible escape, making them maybe a bit saltier. I think first dead and last dead are the most salty survivors get.

    That being said !

A lot of DbD is about attitude as well. Survivors won't be endeared to you if you use "scummy" tactics like tunneling early in the game or slugging for the 4K, or if you show poor behaviour (all of which I don't assume you do, I'm just saying that's one thing). I tend to try and chat with killer and congratulate them on their win whatever I play survivor, but I won't bother to if they were not playing fair throughout the game.

One thing I've noticed is that people will tend to be more chatty if you show them you're not gonna be salty or gloating. I end most of my killer games by leaving a few words in the endgame chat, not an impersonal "gg", but generally complimenting the team's best looper, or something they did well during the game. Now that they know I won't "ggez" them or throw insults their way, they're usually very open to chat a bit and wish everyone good luck next. =)

Then you still have a chance to win the game, like I know where you are coming from, but I just don't get why we make such a big deal, like yes it'll happen, people are people, but I mean if they don't pop the last gen, you can at least consider it practice

That's what I do, because I don't mind a few Ls. They're learning experience. That being said, I don't face nearly as much bm from survivors as lots of killers here seem to experience.

I think most killers who go afk mid game do so for mental health reason, maybe their bm threshold was met and they just had to leave the game to clear their mind for a little bit. Which I'd understand =)

  • Maybe I should play in weekdays mornings more when I got totem cleansing challenges then haha !

I don't think there are this many afk bots currently, I basically haven't seen any for a couple of months, but yeah you're more likely to encounter them at times few people are playing, like in the morning and on weekdays, when people are working.

Well, technically all parties are deciding to stay in the game, the killer also has the power to start EGC, so it's on everyone for why the game us taking so long to end

Depends on the situation I guess, I wouldn't be surprised (unfortunately) if in some cases they don't even bother to do the last gen, and only do it when they get bored after some time waiting for a reaction from the afk killer.

Fortunately, it's isolated cases that are few and far between =)

I wasn't mad or anything when I got back. Just confused. Like aren't they bored? What are they getting out of this scenario?

Oh I do hope they're bored out of their mind ! =D

Dwight : Guys.. It's been 20 minutes, should we maybe just leave ?

Meg : No ! We have to stay !

Dwight : Killer hasn't even moved for 15 minutes...

Meg : Wallowing in their misery ! We're wasting their time ! They're clearly ...*yawn* mad right now.

    Dwight : ...

    Meg : ...

Well, yes. This sort of thing absolutely happens. I've done the same thing and gone and cooked a full pesto panini and poured a fresh beer and came back(20? Mins) and they still hadn't left. This has happened to me a handful of times. It's absurd. Laughable.

On the upside, a pesto panini sounds delicious ! =D

  • Edge cases happen, I guess.

The only time I've felt overwhelmed by a possible SWF (duo) to the point of going into a corner and alt tabbing, some of the survivors must have felt bad because they stayed behind to die with me.

Every team that stomped me afterwards, I've tried to see in a positive light, focusing on what they did well and I found interesting, like if they looped me really well or managed to get some nice FOV techs in, and debriefing that in endgame chat. They're usually very encouraging when they see I'm not salty about it, some of them offering advices or wishes of good luck. Most notable case being a now very dear friend, a killer main who was playing SWF, who offered to coach me after a pretty pitiful game where I didn't manage to get many hooks or a kill. <3

There are so many good elements in this community... I hope someday cases like the the Reddit OP's experience get rarer and no longer feeds into the fearmongering cycle of "all [opposite side] are griefers". =)

  • I can see Vittorio being quite popular, his design is very cool and unique for a survivor.

I think Knight will go either way, depending on the changes he receives from PTB. Either he'll be super easy to play by stacking 2v1 during chases, and he will be popular.

Or he'll be more of a set-up and map management killer, in which case he'll quickly fall down from grace and be quite unpopular.

  • Not very creative here, but here goes !

    Demo is Demodoggy

Legion is whichever character is played, except for Frank, who is "MY SON ! =D"

Nemesis is Nemmy (and zombies are Terry and Merry, as my Nemesis main friend christened them)

Wesker is Whiskers, or That Annoying Dude depending on the day I'm having

    Ghostface is Ghostie

    Deathslinger is Depression Bringer

Hag is "Oh my god killer I love you so much guys it's a Hag !!!" usually followed by a faint "who ?" in th background from my most casual friend

  • Sadako always confuses me when I watch streams form her POV (I don't own her), her M1 looks like it should have a much bigger hitbox, but it doesn't. I really thought she had increased range base kit.

I want them to buff the killers, only console Nurse. Like you said balanced, but killers should have a slight advantage over four survivors 4 perks against 16.The gens are what they are? Some people take away the killers power with him unable to defend. They need to stop nerfing killer's, to the point there's no reason to even try to play the game.Alot of people left this game because of that,it doesn't make sense if the whole point of the goal for killer is to kill.

Well, we'll have to disagree on this. I see I won't change your mind and you won't change mine. I'm not gonna argue further =)

Have great next games ! =)

  • The fact they added mmr was to make sure the game wouldn't accidentally randomly put gods against newbies. Mmr is there to make your games interesting, where being put with people your own level give you a fair chance to win, at any given game.

Not to make it competitive =)

  • I still think builds are more varied. Using third party sites like Nightlight or even the official stats, we can see that even if the old meta perks are still "the most popular" like DH, the usage still dropped : 40% before, 20% now. Same for BBQ if I remember correctly.

I think the 90 seconds gens are fine, and so was the meta shake up. Some of the nerfs were a bit much (Iron Will and Ruin for example) but I like that many underrated perks got some buffs. I hope to see more buffs to unused perks in the future.

I think the current meta might be a bit boring, but so is every meta. Seeing the same things over and over is bound to be unpleasant.

  • You lost me at "how efficient you are on gens based on how fast your teammates go down", I'm a bit confused.

Wouldn't that be worse ? Because if you're good with bad teammates who get downed in 10 seconds, it would assume you're not efficient enough ? And at the contrary, benefit bad players because their good teammates last long in chase ?

  • I don't think it's a reportable offense (at least yet), so I'd advise against reporting it, lest it clutters the reports and make the support agent's jobs more tedious.

However, if the question was should it be reportable, then under some conditions like you said, probably ! However, I think it would open the door to trolls mass reporting other players for hook suiciding whether it's true or not. Maybe it could be programmed to give a DC penalty if you're the first hooked and suicide ?

And on no other instance of hooks (so that legit hook suicides couldn't be penalized) ?

    Food for thought !

It's something you will have to get used to. When there's two roles opposing each other, there are going to be fighting, like cats and dogs.

    Only few get along.

More people should play both sides, and take the game less competitively I guess.

I play survivor just to enjoy the killers hehe Freddy Krueger is chasing me.I mean I've seen vicious killers who slug ,5 gen whole teams tunnel 5 gens and Camp, but that's how they play

Survivors have so many perks that benefit them, and can be stacked.Killers have to down survivors three times but 12x everybody with 4perks, but one perk is basically useless and we have to do that with nerfed abilities how are we supposed to enjoy ourselves.

So you're telling me once the trends of oh this perk has to much value or this killer does this action to fast , changes are not made.

Also this my first one 😅

I did not assume you played one role or the other. I'm just saying the game should be balanced, and fair to all players.

Which the devs are working towards.

I do not think killers are too weak, even at highest mmr they have a satisfactory killrate. Some of them should be tweaked and buffed at their own scale, like Trapper and Freddy for sure, but overall Killers got lots of buffs recently and do not need to be made more powerful.

  • Not that I know of !

I'd be afraid of being a dead weight. Most of the people I play DbD with, I met by playing killer and them being super chill in endgame chat.

Like that cool killer main doing a survivor daily who offered to coach me after a game where I got completely wrecked haha.

Or those guys I improvised a hide and seek with after they noticed my object permanence is completely nonexistant (chase for 10 seconds, then break line of sight and hide in increasingly bad spots/bushes and see how many times I walk past them, hit once as "found you!" then give a headstart for a new hiding spot, I did not go into the game trying to organize that but it turned out that way and was really fun haha).

There are so many wholesome and nice people in this community, no matter how toxic others can be at times. =D

I go on the forums because I like being aware of what everyone's talking about, when there are codes, spreading positivity when the occasion rises and giving low mmr feedback =)

  • I play both roles !

Though I am both a bit better and enjoying myself more as killer, I play mostly survivor.

That's because I made quite a few friends by playing the game (most of them I met as killer, ironically !), and if we want to play together, our option is most often gonna be survivor as duos, sometimes trios. (Without comms for a bunch of them, as we don't all speak english well)

  • Can we please have two days without a "Dear survivors, y'all are ######### & entitled players, be grateful" ?

This is a game. A game is meant to provide fun and equal chances to all its players.

Would you play Monopoly if other players consistently got triple your amount of starting money ?

Would you keep freefighting a guy larger than your house who keeps bashing your head ? He's supposed to be stronger, you shouldn't expect to win after all.

I get that killers are a "power role", but they already are as is. And if the best survivors could expect is 1 escape (which is pretty much low mmr already, yet you'll find plenty of killers complaining about hatch), why would they not switch to killer ?

Survivor is a pretty unrewarding role, that hinges not only on your own skills but also killer's fairness and your own team's skill. If the chances were artificially skewed against them, not only would the games be unrewarding for them, they'd also get pretty boring as killer.

If they sell ultra rare cosmetics, with a chapter,do you think they should increase the price of any chapter?

Theoretically yes, they should, as more content = higher cost.

However, as I said earlier, I don't believe it's a good idea to bundle a cosmetic with the base DLC. Let the people who want cosmetics buy them independently, and let the people who don't want cosmetics have cheap characters.

Maybe you have the willingness to pay 17$ or 20$ for a DLC because you're thankful for the licenses, but you have to see that most people won't have the means of paying the equivalent of the base game's price every time a chapter is out.

It's awesome that you want to support the game, and you can do it at will by buying cosmetics as you seem to have enough money to, but let's not force the average player to spend triple the current DLC's price by forcing them to buy DLCs.

The DLC system as it is already perfectly adequate. I don't see it needing changes...

  • Survivor :

Solidarity could use an immunity from hemorrage.

Revert the Iron Will exhaustion condition (75% all the time even when exhausted).

Give Better Than New it's gen speed back. Maybe not a huge buff, but 5% sounds nice and would incentive your teammates to actually do gens.

Decisive Strike. There is arguably more tunnel than befre 6.1., so at this point it's needed on top of basekit BT if you want to make more than 5k bloodpoints against a tunneler.

Reassurance is a joke. It counters nothing. Let's buff those numbers up and make it per hook stage, and deactivate when the gates are powered.

Dark Theory would deserve some attention as well. Definitely the most forgettable boon.

    Killler :

Shattered Hope is too situational to be brought in games, yet everytime you see a boon you wish you had it. To make it worth bringing, I'd make it so that you can break dull totems as well, with a cooldown. That way, while patrolling, if you find one of the 5 dull totems in the map, well, one less boon spot available. If Killer decides to patrol all the totem spots, then it's more time for survivors to do gens, but if Killer just takes them as they come, there will still soon be fewer boon spots. If no one has any boon, well, you made, let's say, deviousness points (planning ahead on depleting the survivor's resources feels more devious than brutal).

Ruin deserves to be buffed again a bit. Poor perk got properlly gutted. Either make it still 150% or make it not deactivate at first death.

Grim Embrace could be better. Make it show every survivor's aura, or buff considerably the blocked time.

I'd like for Gearhead to trigger more often. Right now, having it tied to losing health states limit it a little. I think it would benefit from having a cooldown rather than this condition, for more stability. If the cooldown would be very short, like 20 seconds, then the aura reading could be shorter as well, but have the potential of being more frequent.

Territorial Imperative is really not good unless for camping basement builds. I think I'd rather have it be something akin to : you set up a small area as your territory, and if survivors are walking through that area, you see their aura for a few seconds. The survivors would not see sign of this being your territory. That way, you could monitor a passageway from the other side of the map, to passively gain info on where the survivors are going.

But you miss the bigger picture, with more chapter cost and maybe a higher rate of cosmetics brought at lower prices wouldn't the be better for the game where as they could, get more things such as a Original Nemesis,an Actual Scream chapter, original Freddy. There original character's would probably still be around 10 dollars, but the licenses would only be higher and they have to renew the licenses?

What I see as a bigger picture is less people being able to buy the DLC, which would be compensated by the price being higher. The net gain would not be very high, if there is any. The cosmetics being less expensive is one thing, but I feel like a lot of people buy maybe one cosmetic for each character they main, and won't buy that many more. Even if they were cheaper, I'm not convinced it would make bank either.

I think the system is good as is. All chapters being the same price unless a different number of characters (the first RE chapter being more expensive because there are 3 characters instead of 2) makes it more fair. No one can say that the game is pay to win if all characters cost the same. Having licensed prices much higher than regular ones would discriminate people who don't have the means of buying such expensives DLCs, making them feel like they can only afford "second class" characters.

(I actually like the original characters much more than the licensed ones, but I don't think I'm in the majority here)

Plus BHVR has proven to be able to get many rights and licenses to various horror (and unfortunately non horror) licenses, and puts out licensed content very regularly (roughly every other DLC). I don't want everyone to have to pay more at entry level so that some license fans get their shiny new characters. The current rythm is more than okay with me.

What I think could help them get more revenues in the long run (the bigger bigger picture, if you will) is to give some time, love and care to balancing the game, so that the horde of players who quite the game from feeling unrewarded or frustrated with matchmaking can actually enjoy themselves again. Which BHVR has been working towards, albeit slowly.

Anything else is just playing with numbers to try and maintain their profit.

😵 aye yi yi mean listen, I'm that smart? But if they raise the price of DLC to 17.50 they know could make charm that comes with chapters basically for free and add one rare cosmetic to one character out the chapter. They could lower the prices for Rare 450'c skin's ultra rare 980's they would more likely increase the sells for ultra rare, rare cosmetic legendaries.Like I said that smart but how does that sound

I'm not sure I understand your idea completely, but it sounds like no casual player would buy any DLC. 17.50 bucks to unlock one killer and one survivor, albeit with a bit more cosmetics ? I would stop buying DLCs at all...

  • Unbreakable is not base kit. Not currently, and might not be at all, considering BHVR collected data and feedback and still has to decide whether they will follow through and implement it, or not.

Killers will get base kit perks or other buffs when they'll need it. At the moment they're plowing through low and mid mmr, their kill rates are still adequately high at top 5% too, and there's already a survivor shortage going on that makes matchmaking completely screwed.

I don't think killer base kit buffs would be a good thing right now, as we don't want worse matchmaking and killer queues the length of the Lord of the Rings.

  • I'm going through the game again for missed achievements, and god, I hadn't done Trapper yet and it's definitely the funniest in my opinion.

I wouldn't mind getting Spirit's cosmetic in DbD, she already has plenty of outfits that don't scream "horror", so it wouldn't be out of the theme. The others I think would be hilarious but would not fit very well.

  • @DashMonsta008XV said:

I'll say it anyway ######### it

So in most media genres is an art, that's how I view video games. They can make you have different emotions.

In the 14th century just , picking random timeline for example.People would make sculptures and paint pictures. To show their feels and people also viewing this art had their opinions and feelings.

And that's how I look at video games, developers have created the pieces of art that has stuck with us ,if it cultivated us in what we seen.

DBD is not the prettiest game like the sky is flat there's a paper moon in sometimes or just certain backgrounds look plain.

But you can tell that they care when it comes to the characters and the maps, there's alot of detail that goes into the characters their not perfect.Like Pyramid Heads boots has a white line between the rubber of the bottom grip or in between the soles.Hes a perfect example of taking a character from an area of gaming that lack pixels to make him look so freaking cool, his movement how he stands ,his walking animation.Bravo. Wesker looks like a real figure .Their characters look the originals are innovative ,and fresh like they came from a movie or horror novel. There biography gives them life are and actual place in our world.

Now the question is,do you think artists should be payed for their work?

Video games are a mix of many forms of art. And artists should absolutely get paid for their works, and it's true that it's an industry that underpays them often.

However, that is not really the question in my opinion.

The question was if you'd buy a 13€ DLC if there were 2 additional cosmetics in it, rather than a 7€ DLC with no cosmetics included.

I think the base DLCs should be as epurated as possible, with only the characters, and at relatively low price (like they currently are), because some people will want to have some characters but won't necessarily play them enough to warrant buying a cosmetics for them, let alone 2. If this bundle existed as a separate premium bundle I would be more than okay with that, but I still probably wouldn't buy it for various reasons.

Making the default option the most expensive one would force people who aren't interested in those cosmetics to go on the store and buy characters with auric cells (assuming they don't have enough shards saved), which come in set numbers, so maybe they'll be forced to spend 10€ on a DLC and have 300 leftover auric cells, rather than simply pay the 7€ they were planning to spend.

I'm pretty sure the artists are paid a set wage that is not influenced by how much or how little their cosmetic sold, but if it was the case, then they'd make more money selling the cosmetics 6 - 10€ each (as they do currently) rather than make it 6€ for those two cosmetics when bought in the bundle DLC.

  • I think it's dumb. Either make the character 100% quiet when not exhausted, or 75% quiet all the time.

  • Depends on the maps. Some of them are loaded with pallets and other aren't, so the distance between pallets vary from map to map.

  • Probably not.

If the killer is fun to play, has great game design and visual design as base, good enough perks, if survivor has good enough perks as well, and the cosmetics are great, then that's a maybe.

Otherwise I'd probably not buy it, or buy at a reduced cost with shards.

I have some of my best performance on Ghostface of all killers.

I either pull off some neat instant Exposure hits and burn through those health states at an alarming rate.

Or the survivors spot me early, reveal me, get cocky, and I end up snowballing despite basically playing a powerless M1 killer.

It's surprising how often that happens. I just had a match on Lerys where I went in with the intention of fully stalking and one-hit downing everyone. But when Mikaela revealed me at 5% stalk because I didn't see her creep up behind me, I chased and downed her, then Yun-Jin tried to body block and took two hits, so I still got 2 hooks before the first gen was done, and it only got worse from there. Survivor altruism is the biggest killer of all.

Ghostface is a killer I've played a lot of last month, and the amount of times I load in with a "mark 4 survs" challenge and get out of the game with only one or two marks is ridiculous (in a fun way) !

There really are some fast-paced games where you don't have 10 seconds to stalk and end up using shroud to mindgame chases more than anything, haha ! =D

  • I second GannTM. I haven't played Spirit for long, but she's tons of fun =)

  • I'm pretty sure there is not shared killer mmr. Each has their own.

HOWEVER. If you have high mmr on one killer, the game will assume that you've got basic game stuff mastered like how to pressure gens or how to loop, and will make your mmr variations for your first few games on other killers impact these killer's mmr more.

If you 4K your two first games on a killer you usually never play, the game is gonna be like "oops, we put them in the wrong bracket, clearly they're a fast learner, I'll correct that asap !" and will boost your mmr gains for a while, until the game gets too hard, and then it balances out naturally. Give it a little time, and you'll get games that are well suited to your level.

You'll sometimes encounter high prestige levels in your lobbies as new killer (I've had a P93 on my second game ever as Clown the other day), either because of the survivor shortage (despite incentives) or because they're lowering their own mmr. Maybe a bit of both.

So yeah. Give it a little time and accept to get a few losses. You can even purposefully let everyone go for a few games if you feel it's necessary, so that the game puts you against people that are newer to the role as well =D

  • I didn't really like the AOT crossover either, I don't think it fits in DbD, and yes, I know "fitting" doesn't mean anything anymore, and that we shouldn't care as long as the gameplay is good, but still, I can't take a Levi, a Hanji or an Armoured Titan Oni seriously. I expect I'll feel the same way about the Knight in modern maps like Haddonfield or Badham. Supremely silly !

I'm really not hyped for more anime crossover, I just don't like animes in general. I'm not too fond of the idea of crossovers from non-horror (non-anime) licenses either, but I could live with that.

As for non-horror licenses, I could see a Borderlands crossover with a Psycho skin for Legion. Would be a bit underwhelming, but appropriate to the mechanics of Legion I guess =)

  • You know what ? Hell yeah !

More diverse maps is always cool. I hope they don't completely remove the fog from the next map, but manage to reach a compromise between esthetics and playability :)

We do not handle player names I'm afraid - this is something that would need to be reported to the platform that the player was on.

Alright, thanks for the answer !

for chat offences you do not need to send in a support ticket as we can see all chat logs.

My quote is to the user who advised they hadn't reported in game and not necessarily referring purely to chat offences.

    Hi,

I have a small question on the subject as well ! I've run into a couple of players with hateful usernames, but who did not linger in chat. Does this call for a Harassment report (even if they didn't actually say anything in chat) ?

I remember being on the same team as a survivor named like a famous german dictator... my friend and I reported them, but a confirmation that reporting this is allowed and won't just crowd other reports would be nice. =)

    Have a nice day !

    Like a couldown? Like,

"If your hex is cleaned before 120 secondes, you can recreate it"?

Or "During 120 secondes, the hex can be cleaned by the survivor"?

I didn't think this through at all, so it's not really well-thought out, but if your Devour Hope was in the most obvious spot ever, when it is cleansed the perk deactivates, and when you find another totem, you can "hex it" and boom you got Devour again (but without stacks it would have had before)

Not necessarily very useful for Devour Hope, but might be useful for Blood Favor for example, or even my baby Third Seal.

Eh... sometimes it's entirely true, some people have very thin skin, or get riled up by the silliest things.

Teabagging for example, nobody should give it the time of day.

    (PS. check your profile)

    I guess you're right ! =)

And, i'm thinking about that, but if the killer doesn't apply his hex, he can see everytime each totem, so if someone make a Boon, he can find him pretty quick

Maybe a crazy idea, but would it be overpowered if once the hex is destroyed, killer could place it back on another totem at the cost of a long placing time ? Think same time as booning a hex, or cleansing Thrill of the Hunt.

Not all hexes are worth placing again, and the time it takes would allow survivors to reset or advance on gens, but at least if your hex get cleansed early on you could place it somewhere a bit better hidden.

  • People who enjoy making other people's experience unpleasant will always be the first to tell you to grow a tough skin and that it's just a game. It's just their way to deflect.
