the worst is when the killer waits to load in then DC’s so you lose all your offerings. Had a killer do that on a 4x Flan.

Yes… that is part of his power if you let him zone you into an open area. It is beyond easy to counter.

It doesn’t matter how much skill is required. If it makes the killer feel oppressive (like there’s no way you can win) then it’s overpowered.
What addon is so oppressive that you “can’t win”?? BESIDES C33.
How does it not matter how much skill is involved? I’ve put probably close to 1100 hours into blight now. What may seem overpowered when I’m using it, will get another blight bullied because they cannot use it effectively.
If somebody put the time to PERFECT trapper, and they use his addons beautifully, do those need to get nerfed too?

Blight has about 6 broken addons. Alchemist ring and Adrenaline vial should both have the same penalty : -2 charges.
1) You cannot just hug tech anywhere.
2) Hug teching does not take away the turn rate…
3) Hug tech is the most counterable move of blight, and if you don’t know that, then you just are not an experienced survivors and it’s a skill issue. Setting up for a hug tech is the most obvious thing. Guess what… if he sets up for a hug tech… LEAVE THE LOOP!
6 broken addons?? What?! Please go hop on blight and share your gameplay using these “broken addons”.

Yeah see that's the thing, that 40-50 range is about the only place you'll reliably see them. You might pick up 1-2 more for each in all the levels from 1-40, but you aren't about to do a full 50 lvl prestige on 3-6 games.
That’s just where I had started counting them. I will do a full count tomorrow 1-50.

Well, I did one character from level 30ish to 50 and I got maybe... two? At most. Admittedly, I was levelling Pinhead (still salty about having prestiged before the rework and lost all those perk unlocks) not Wesker or Knight (where I have gotten all the perks I have unlocked), so that'd not help. Still, 800k BP invested, nowhere near enough to run one per game, even with a handful of black wards too.
Like five ebony moris, though.
IIRC, prestige does increase the chance of iris at lower bloodweb levels, too.
From lvl 43 - 50(complete) I got 4 C33’s and 1 iri tag. Prestige 83.

You must be incredibly lucky or I have the worst luck out there then. I run Plague and dearly love to play with the iri seal. It is the number one priority with my bloodwebs. I get about 3 games with it per prestige level, and the rest have to be done with other builds.
Really? I feel like I get a ton of iris per prestige. I will keep track tonight of how many iris I get over how many levels and report back.

Yeah, how long have you been playing, and how much was before they reworked prestige? I came in about 3-4 months before the whole prestige rework and I get 2-4 iri addons of a given type per prestige level these days. You can't just sit at a level 50 bloodweb and farm it over and over for good addons anymore. You have to go through about 30-40 garbage webs before you get to ones that reliably provide purple and iri addons.
Majority of it was gained after the update. I have been cranking through blight’s prestige’s. I’ve been playing a long time, and have a ton of hours on blight, but I got most of my stuff for him post update. Around 500 of each iri, 500 or so rings, 1200+ crows and 1200+ adrenaline vile. I also run crow and vile almost every single game. I’m still not at P100 yet, I just prioritized those specific addons when they came up.

I primarily play blight. But after a couple blight games I’ll work through the roster. I usually just play half chase, half regression and do fine. I also come in not expecting the game to go the same as when I play blight. I played a wraith game yesterday against a super toxic swf who all brought beams. It was a miserable game that ended with a 2k, but if I had blight, I would have 4k’d them pretty easily. It’s just the way it goes.
If needed, I’ll slug one and go start chase with another to build up pressure.

I'm pretty sure, from experience, you can't, unless once you get the Killer to high prestige you can manage to pull one every 40,000 BP or so (or a black ward), which is pretty unlikely when they're 8k each.

I actually like a lot of the changes. I will say though… as a blight main, I would be able to weaponize some of these into some crazy strong builds. Especially with a third seal change like that, mixed with how fast a good blight can end chase.
But pretty sick post! When you gonna do survivor edition?

I agree. Some killers have absolutely trash “top tier” addons. Blight has a pretty good representation of addon tiers. His iri’s are extremely strong. Purples are still strong. Greens are decent - strong (AV if you know what you’re doing). Yellows are nice to have on, browns are browns.
I think all killers’ addons should have the same tier to strength pattern.

What you’re complaining about has nothing to do with gameplay. It’s more than likely related to sales, which is what businesses / companies do… they have to make money.. what is the beef about having seasonal skins that are available for THAT season only?

I have done this once as bubba. Right at the start of a game on midwich. All crowded in a doorway after popping spawn offering. I have a clip of it on my pc somewhere. Superior feeling that was.

You know why people REALLY hate Bubba camping? Because SWFs are obsessed with the four man escape. Absolutely obsessed. They froth at the mouth if they can't save their last man. Drives them insane.
When my friends and I play, we are happy for one of us to throw ourselves on the grenade for the 3 man escape.
But the hardcore SWFs will REEEEEEEEE about "counterplay".

Dh is extremely easy to bait or just wait the half second dab. It’s literally not hard. If they DH through a pallet, just wait a split second then hit. 90% of the time they go down.

I roll with a group of p100’s and it doesn’t happen often. Maybe you’re lower mmr? low skill killer don’t see high prestige often.
71 isn’t high prestige anymore for many people.

tell me you’ve never played blight, without telling me you’ve never played blight. Adrenaline vile COMPLETELY changes blight’s rushes. The only addons that maybe needs a look is c33 and alch ring.
